London’s Best Hotpot Restaurants for Sichuan and Cantonese Meals | Eater London

"This restaurant is right on the money for big and bold hot pots. Think handmade fishballs, black fungus mushrooms, quail eggs, rice cakes and mussels. Be sure to tuck into the wide variety of barbecue meat, seafood and veggie skewers too — the perfect prelude while waiting for the hot pot to boil." - Angela Hui

We had hot pot here, the taste was ok, but not our favourite... For hot pot, the price is fixed per person (kids pay the same price as adults), and we can eat as much as we want for 2 hours, no takeaways for the leftover food. The ambiance/atmosphere was ok. Free wifi for customers is available. Wheelchair accessibility is not available. Toilets for customers are available downstairs.

The grilled fish was succulent, beef tendon soft, and they even had the legendary Northeast smoked chicken! We ate like kings. Four hours, £180 for all that food, drinks, and karaoke—such a great deal! The sound system was top-notch, perfect for a singing enthusiast like me; I could hear myself clearly and had a blast.

Amazing KTV experience with delicious food! The skewers were perfectly grilled, and the Sichuan-style dishes had great spice and flavor. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was lively. Perfect place to sing, eat, and have fun with friends. Highly recommend for a great night out!

Skip China town and come here instead!- food is much better, cooked to order, fresh and tasty. Lovely service, attentive and kind. And they have karaoke rooms downstairs too!

Absolutely terrible experience — do not recommend. The service was downright awful. The staff were indifferent, spoke barely above a whisper, and showed zero hospitality. When we asked questions, they looked annoyed and clearly didn’t want to help — as if we were bothering them by simply being there. The food? Subpar at best. Other than the tender beef, the rest of the hot pot ingredients were clearly not fresh — some even tasted like they'd been sitting out for a while. Worse still, the environment was completely unsafe. A man barged into the restaurant shouting aggressively, disturbing everyone. Unbelievably, the staff did absolutely nothing — no one tried to remove him, no one called security or the police. They just stood there, pretending nothing was happening. As a customer, I felt completely unprotected and disrespected. This place is not just disappointing — it’s negligent and unsafe. Avoid at all costs.

For our weekend lunch with friend,we chose this Chinese restaurant near Shepherd’s Bush Station in London. The food is both affordable and delicious, with fresh grilled squid and lamb skewers. The “Di San Xian” (a stir-fry of potatoes, eggplant, and peppers) paired perfectly with rice. The jasmine tea had an authentic Chinese flavor, and at just £1.50, it was a steal! The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and I’ll definitely be coming back again.

After a day of shopping at Westfield with friend,we walked just 6 minutes to this Chinese restaurant called Muyang hot pot&BBQ for a meal. The salted egg yolk crab was definitely my fave—super tender and full of that rich salted egg yolk flavor. And it was only £28.80, perfect for the two of us to share. Such a great deal! The place had a bright, clean vibe with traditional Chinese decor, and the service was really friendly. If you’re into salted egg yolk crab and in London, you’ve gotta try this spot!

The BBQ and grilled fish are so goood! Juicy and flavourful, the texture is perfect. We dined downstairs in the Karaoke room. Loved this place! Plus being located near Westfield made for an excellent day of shopping and dining and singing!

Yelp
Very quiet on a snowy weekday night, which was great as we could have a speedy and accommodating service. It was very cold inside tho. The AC was making a loud sound of wind coming from the vent but it literally was in no use. We had to put our coats on to stay warm. We ordered lamb kebabs and a hot spicy pot. Neither of them was spicy but I have to admit food in general was good. Portion was generous, and veges tasted fresh. Streaky pork was especially good, with a nice balance of fatness and thinness. We chose medium spicy but our craving for spiciness and hotness was defo not satisfied. Would recommend very spicy to spicy food lovers

Yelp
I had a wonderful time here. The waitress was so genuinely kind, humorous and helpful U could hardly believe I was in a Chinese restaurant. I had the spicy branches curd and some veggie skewers, all good. The rice better than most. I'll go back.
