London’s Best Hotpot Restaurants for Sichuan and Cantonese Meals | Eater London

"This restaurant is right on the money for big and bold hot pots. Think handmade fishballs, black fungus mushrooms, quail eggs, rice cakes and mussels. Be sure to tuck into the wide variety of barbecue meat, seafood and veggie skewers too — the perfect prelude while waiting for the hot pot to boil." - Angela Hui

Muyang Hot Pot & BBQ

A great Chinese restaurant in Shepherd’s Bush. The diced rabbit with double peppers and the couple’s sliced beef were especially impressive – bold, authentic flavours rather than a toned-down version. Dan dan noodles were rich and fragrant, and the grilled oysters and salt & pepper squid were excellent sides. Definitely worth a return visit.

Had bbq here and it was great perfectly seasoned, also reasonably priced will definitely come again. Especially loved the chicken wings that the waitress recommended. The restaurant was nice and cosy with Chinese elements and can do karaoke which we will definitely try next time.

I had a wonderful lunch experience here. The mapo tofu and seafood dishes were absolutely lovely—full of flavour . The restaurant is located close to Westfield Centre, making it a perfect spot to stop before or after shopping. Highly recommended!

Pretty special single person hotpot buffet here. Service was attentive, and food was fresh. One thing thou, i found the spicy hotpot base to be a bit too spicy and oily for my taste. Will try other base next time…

Pretty bad food. The sweet and sour pork was burnt by the chef making it not edible. Quite a basic mistake. The red braised pork is ok, but lacks flavour and thick sauce.

We had hot pot here, the taste was ok, but not our favourite... For hot pot, the price is fixed per person (kids pay the same price as adults), and we can eat as much as we want for 2 hours, no takeaways for the leftover food. The ambiance/atmosphere was ok. Free wifi for customers is available. Wheelchair accessibility is not available. Toilets for customers are available downstairs.

The grilled fish was succulent, beef tendon soft, and they even had the legendary Northeast smoked chicken! We ate like kings. Four hours, £180 for all that food, drinks, and karaoke—such a great deal! The sound system was top-notch, perfect for a singing enthusiast like me; I could hear myself clearly and had a blast.

Really impressed by this place in Shepherd’s Bush. Every dish we ordered was well executed, with flavours that felt genuinely authentic. The double pepper rabbit was a standout, and the dan dan noodles were full of depth. Even the grilled oysters and salt & pepper squid were done very well. One of the better Chinese meals I’ve had in West London.

Yelp
Very quiet on a snowy weekday night, which was great as we could have a speedy and accommodating service. It was very cold inside tho. The AC was making a loud sound of wind coming from the vent but it literally was in no use. We had to put our coats on to stay warm. We ordered lamb kebabs and a hot spicy pot. Neither of them was spicy but I have to admit food in general was good. Portion was generous, and veges tasted fresh. Streaky pork was especially good, with a nice balance of fatness and thinness. We chose medium spicy but our craving for spiciness and hotness was defo not satisfied. Would recommend very spicy to spicy food lovers

Yelp
I had a wonderful time here. The waitress was so genuinely kind, humorous and helpful U could hardly believe I was in a Chinese restaurant. I had the spicy branches curd and some veggie skewers, all good. The rice better than most. I'll go back.
