Delicious affordable food. Best home fries with the perfect crisp. Great service. They even had a vegan option - a tofu scramble. And they had raisin bread as a toast option. Yummy!

My Diner is located inside of an apartment building with a small outdoor eating area. This place is the classic breakfast/lunch diner will great food and service. We came on a Saturday morning and were seated immediately out on the deck. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, southie omelet, and a stack of two pancakes. Great food I cannot wait to come back!

Casual diner where the locals go. Large portions for a good price and quick service. Very busy during peak times. The omelette special was great, no complaints on the food. Would definitely recommend going here for an easy morning, breakfast or brunch if you’re looking for casual, affordable, and good food.

Great traditional diner with delicious, homemade breakfast dishes, wholesome portions, and delightfully hot coffee. Enjoyed the pancake and a hearty homemade corned beef hash, neither disappointed, only impressed. Service was friendly and plentiful. Bright, charming atmosphere with a nice outdoor deck adds a nice touch (outdoor deck is closed in December, but I look forward to coming back in warmer times).

I ordered the vegan chickpea omelette. I don’t find too many vegan bfast joints and Boston doesn’t have a ton of options, so this was a great surprise. Ray was really professional, but also humble and laid back. A cool local spot on the 2nd floor, which I wasn’t expecting to be such a big layout.

Came to My Diner at the suggestion of my brother. The restaurant was not far from the hotel I was staying at. Hostess was pleasant and got us seated quickly. Restaurant is actually on the 2nd floor so have to take steps or the elevator up to it. There is outside and inside dining options. The breakfast food was really good. The Belgian waffles and omlettes were a hit for my group! Restaurant has a small parking lot for customers and the rest is street parking! Good experience and will visit again when I come back to town!

Food was just terrible. It’s pretty bad when you can’t cook a poached egg properly for a Benedict. Also, paid for extra sauce and clearly is not there. Sauce wasn’t good anyway super oil taste. Potato’s were flavorless and the hash itself was bland. Overall just gross. Tossed it. $20 lesson learned.

Very nice and calm place to come eat. The food was great! We had the waffle with peanut butter and honey and egg benedicts with corned beed hash. Amazing! Prices are very good too. Will come back on my next visit to Boston! Thank you for such a great service

The food, the service & the ambiance are excellent. I got a breakfast burrito with a side of avacado. So fresh and delicious. I could only eat half because the burrito was so big. I added sausage to it for an extra dollar or so. I believe this is a family business and they take great pride in quality, quantity, cleanliness & great service. They are celebrating 20 years in business which says a lot. Parking & off street parking available. Highly recommend as I am becoming a foodie!

Typical diner spot with breakfast and lunch options. Waited a little to be seated on a weekend but the food came out relatively quickly.

Trying to find a good place to eat breakfast that's open early isn't easy. So I decided to try this place. The waiter was very nice- the "hostess?" was not too friendly. I will not be returning for several reasons. Iced coffee was not fresh. My food was bland and not very warm enough. How about some jelly with the toast? Clean place Don't recommend

Great place for Breakfast!! It's upstairs once you enter the building so don't be alarmed. Fun menu items with the classics to fun sweet waffles and pancakes. Will be returning to My Diner soon.

Good food, friendly service, nice and clean location. Parking isn't great though, keep that in mind or plan ahead for it.

Found place through a Yelp search for breakfast spot. We were here Sunday morning around 8. Place was fairly empty. We sat outside. Service was fast. We ordered typical breakfast food. Breakfast food is cooked fast, but this place might have set a record. It felt like less than 5 minutes. Eggs and sausage were great. My daughter enjoyed the pancakes with strawberries on top. She played great soccer later that morning so maybe we give credit to the food? This place is on the second floor which is called floor 1. I walked right by the sign that told us where to go.

Love this place. Great food for great prices that can't be beat in the Boston area. Everything is simple and delicious and a good amount of food. Service is good and pretty quick. They have a nice outdoor area as well. I go almost every week!

Poor service. Was told no outside seating when there was plenty. Only because I was for 1.wanted to only seat me at Bar. Took 3 severs to acknowledge me waiting.

We flew in from LA and found this spot for breakfast. What a gem. Family of 4 fueled up on great food, great coffee and fantastic service. The bill came out to around $50 which is unheard of in Boston. We loved it so much we came back the next morning. Highly recommend!!!!

This is a great spot for diner breakfast! The breakfast is cooked to order and comes to the table never quickly. The staff is kind and the diner has a super cute feel. The food is always good if you want diner breakfast food

This diner was amazing. The workers there are so friendly and do an amazing job. The food was delectable. The homefries are perfect. My boyfriend got the sausage and said it was the best he's ever had. Totally recommend going here and supporting this business! It's also a lovely place, you can sit outside or inside.

Great diner in South Boston and I love their corned beef hash. The place gives off a real classic diner vibe. The service is great and they do an amazing job refilling your water/coffee. The bathrooms are super clean. Just about anything you'd want in a diner

For starters you are dropped off at an office building and when you go inside there is NOTHING that tells you where to go for the restaurant. I finally just started climbing the stairs and eventually found it. I sat at the bar and the women who helped me must have had a hangover because she was zombie like and acted like it was a chore to serve me. The food was just okay. I got the pancakes. In the bathroom there was no hook or place to put your purse or coat. These people are really not into customer service.

Standard bfast. Fast, friendly, clean. Price is right. Not sure what the racist thing from the other guy was about as it's run by people who are clearly not white and every single person in there with us (multiple black people, white and Asian) we're all treated politely equally. My guess is it's either one of those things where you look hard enough for something you find it or he just wasn't actually there at all and pushing a narrative.

Got the steak and eggs a couple days ago and the eggs were cold when they came out, also they looked as if they had come out of a carton. Steak was mediocre, mostly fat and tasted as if it had been microwaved. I also got a smoothie which was delicious. Wouldn't go there again though.

went to grab breakfast with my wife on 8/17/23 walked in was told to take menus and sit wherever we wanted found a table sat and waited not once did anyone come to ask if we wanted coffee or water the staff walked passed and never acknowledged that we was there stayed at the table for 20 mins the white patrons that came in way after us was greeted and taken care of immediately I'm a believer that this establishment do not like BLACK PEOPLE I WILL STAND ON WHAT I BELIEVE NEVER HAVE I EVER EXPERIENCE RACISM UNTIL TODAY

Stopped to get a quick breakfast with a friend and was met with nice service. Food was what you expect at a price and fulfilled my need. It's a little small and I do wish there was more tables open for the outdoor/patio. Overall I would come back again when in the area!

Normally a good place to order sandwiches, burgers, and breakfast from, especially for those working in the Seaport District with a budget. Today? Ordered a ham sandwich with everything on it. What we got as seen below is a piece of bread, with american cheese, and ham cut as thick as a ROOFING TILE. Normally I am opposed to drug testing as a condition of employment. Today my needle on that opinion moved. A lot.

Cute little diner hidden on the 2nd floor in a building on the corner of East and Dorchester in Southie. We are staying at the Aloft on D Street, it's a half mile walk or a $6 lyft ride on a Sunday morning. Delicious. Value and quality very good. May be the best egg sandwich I've had in a long time. Egg over med on grilled English with cheddar and bacon. Home fries cooked to perfection. Soft yet hold their shape, crispy on one side. Lightly seasoned. Very good. Hubby had ham and egg sandwich on English with a big portion of the home fries (he shared). Waitress was nice, professional, and organized. Highly recommend- we will be back.

Best breakfast that I have had in a long time!!! Omelette made with real eggs, gluten free bread and good coffee. Located in an office building, but great atmosphere and a deck to sit outside.

From out of town -- found it on second floor of noted address. Came for late Sunday breakfast. Place was packed w a long list but it turned over quickly. Excellent diner breakfast at reasonable prices. The gentleman working in the kitchen and serving and pouring coffee and taking time to smile and chat and notice the people in line was infectious in his anti-dour (not really a word but it should be). I recommend My Diner.

My family ordered a large catering order and when the day came for them to deliver we received "oh you didn't call to confirm". However, we did in fact call and confirmed. They lost out on a massive order and future business. Shameful

I'm from New Jersey so I take my diners VERY seriously and this one was great. I would definitely come back again next time I'm in Boston! The service was super quick as all good diners are. We got the veggie omelet which was good, but maybe could use a little more seasoning. We also got the southie omelet which was absolutely delicious I wouldn't change a thing. The chocolate chip pancakes were a good texture but the batter had an odd after taste I think I would skip the pancake next time. Our omelettes were great and the service was great and you'll definitely see me again!

Great diner in Southie. Perfect for Sunday mornings when you just need some greasy food after a night all. They do have some healthier options and are always great for people watching on the weekends.

Great spot near Seaport and Southie I've ordered here from work, but never been or seen this place. The place is cute and has a good amount of seating. But come early, because it tends to fill up on the weekends. The place is upstairs and not hard to find. It's clean, well lit and the waitresses are friendly. The food comes out pretty quick and tastes great. If I'm nearby again, I'll stop in.

Decent cafeteria style food, I've tried both their breakfast and lunch. The food is okay, but they drag ASS in that kitchen! It shouldn't take 20+ mins for chicken fingers (which sucked) and french fries when there's only about 7-10 people dining in.

Pros: - wait was only 15 minutes - people were generally nice - lots of menu options - very cheap Cons: - food is lackluster - asked for cheese on my eggs and they literally put a slice of cheese on them - coffee was weak

I went to My Diner for brunch late on a Sunday morning. My friend, a southie resident suggested My Diner. He often makes questionable food decisions as he does not have a sophisticated pallet and I was nervous walking in. When we arrived we wrote our name down on the clipboard and had a short wait. The large menu with reasonable prices had something for everyone. The item that stuck out to me was the corned beef hash, one of my favorites. It came with three eggs. I was also interested in the turkey hash but unfortunately they were all out. We ordered and had a short wait for our food. The food arrived and was delicious. The hash was perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the eggs fluffy. Someone ordered the tofu scramble and cleaned his plate. I recommend these dishes and would love to try many of the other dishes. I am looking forward to returning. My only complaint is that my water was not refilled. It was not an issue as I was able to take water from my friends who didn't drink their water, however next time I would have liked a refill. Five stars.

Great food, great service, and indoor + outdoor seating when the weather permits. The menu has plenty of options for everyone and even includes good vegan options like pancakes, waffles, bacon, and macaroni among other things. Overall it's a really solid diner that has something for everyone!

I'm a southie local, and I felt that the vibe and quality of food at this second location was awesome. There's a great view and lots of natural light. Service was great as always and I loved my meal.

Lovely SB place to grab a casual brunch on weekends. I love how there's an outdoor deck where you can wait while you're grabbing a table and a grassy hill next to it if you want to sit there. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. I got the veggie omelette with a side of linguica sausage. The sausage was well-spiced, though on the dry side. The omelette was stuffed with veggies and very filling. Pancakes are the size of your face. The only criticism I have is that they put too much butter on their pancakes and toast, so next time would ask for it on the side. We had to wait a bit for our table and so our waitress was kind enough to offer a complimentary bowl of fresh fruit (bananas, blueberries, strawberries) - delectable! Iced coffee was decent too. I do think overall the quality of the food is a cut above other "diner-style" places.

I have been to this diner twice now and both times have been incredibly disappointing. The first time I sat with a table of 6 people - the first 4 people got their food in a timely manner, but me and another person did not get our food until at least 15 minutes after everyone else had finished their meals. At this point we had waited for over an hour to get our food. First off it's pretty obvious restaurant etiquette to bring everyone's food out together, and secondly it should not take over an hour to make French toast. Decided to give it a second chance, and waited 1.5 hours for an order of pancakes. I will not be coming back here again.

Very disappointing. Eggs were cold and flavorless and strawberries and blueberries tasted like they were frozen several times over before being served to us. Wouldn't go back.
