"The terrace with panoramic ocean views is one of the biggest draws of this beach-front restaurant. But the well-crafted seafood is more than equal to the setting. The live fish tank heralds a feast of fresh shellfish and fish, to be cooked in various ways. But the stellar attraction is definitely mantis shrimp, boasting firm, flavoursome flesh and rich, buttery roe. Mud crab from Hoi An is another exclusive speciality not found elsewhere in Da Nang." - Michelin Inspector

"High Prices, High Quality One of the more upmarket seafood eateries in Da Nang, My Hanh more than justifies its prices through the quality of its offerings. An extensive menu includes treats like grilled abalone, salt-steamed crab, and tamarind crab. The stirring location at My Khe beach is also worth the splurge."

Acceptable food, but personally will not return. Pretty good view and access to the beach and definitely clean interior. Staff were attentive and we were taken care of. Can’t say the food is with the price we paid for. We had grilled oysters, grilled scallops, grilled fish, vegetables and stir fried glass noodles with crabs, and couple of beers amongst the 5 of us and the bill came up to around 5 million dong. Considering the portions were small and we had to get additional food after. If you had to - stir fried glass noodles with crab and grilled fish were good.

At first we were confused on how do they take your order but then the waiter explained to us that they serve by grams, like you will pay on how much is the market price of the seafood that you like then they will cook it according to your preference (according to the menu). You can choose how many pieces, to be honest I was hesitant at first but when they served my order I was really satisfied. The prawns were really big. I ordered the garlic butter prawns, 4 pcs is approximately 700,000 if I’m not mistaken. They gave us free sashimi scallops because I made a reservation. It was really fresh, after the meal they handed us watermelon slices. I can say that the service is top notch as the server even peeled the prawns for us. Just take note that the wet towel has a charge if you’re going to use them. All in all I can say that it’s a nice experience, the ambiance is good near the sea. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My Hahn Seafood is an institution in Da Nang and has been around for a good portion of 30 years. It has stood the test of time and is a popular stop for fresh seafood. They have numerous tanks with live sea delicacies that will one day make it to a customers plate. It is a multi storied location, but they were only seating people on the main floor outside or inside. The latter was better due to eat being cooler, where as the outside was (due to the weather), like sitting in an oven. It’s a pity they were not seating people upstairs because the beach view would have been so much better. I came here specifically for lobster. They are definitely very pricey and since I had a modest appetite chose a lobster that was little more than half a kg. I selected the preparation method of grilled, with butter and garlic. When it arrived at my table, it looked unappetizing. There was a thick layer of yellowish gel like substance that did not signal butter or garlic. It was actually sweet and killed the overall flavor. There was zero taste or fragrance of garlic. The lobster meat though fresh was tough and dry. For a soup, I had their crab meat with corn and carrots. That was good and so was the attentive service. The lobster, on the other hand, was a major disappointment.

We came here due to good reviews and the Michelin bib gourmand mention. The beachfront dining patio was excellent, giving expansive unobstructed views of the beach, hearing the waves in front of you. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. The food was good, but it was hit/miss for what we ordered. The slow cooked pork & shrimp, sautéed morning glory with garlic, crab soup and crab soup with corn were all very good. They were cooked and seasoned just right, but the crab soup with corn was warm not hot and so was not as good as it could have been. The garlic butter Bánh mi was not as expected; instead of a savory bread to eat with our meal it was sweet (!) with almost a carmelized sticky sugar over it and tasted like a strange dessert. We could not eat it. Seafood stir fried egg noodles were also a disappointment. The noodles tasted like cheap packaged ramen, the octopus pieces were hard and tough, very few shrimp and overall it also was a disappointment. Overall we had 5 dishes, a water & beer for ~1,300,000 dong. A pricey meal for just OK food. Perhaps ordering the lobster or crab would’ve been a better choice for this establishment, but at double the cost.

This restaurant has always been our go to place for many years, every time we got a chance to visit Danang. The restaurant is definitely more upscale now with premium seafood. The staff are attentive and friendly. The dishes were good while we enjoyed the live music :) The reason for my 4* is the price. It’s so expensive that we want to try out other places instead of coming back.

A beautiful place to buy live sea food and take them home or order it there. The fresh produce is made in the kitchen and served. Nice atmosphere and ambience. Helpful staff. There is a Michelin bib gourmand mention. The beachfront dining area was wonderful. You get an expansive unobstructed views of the beach, sit and hear the sound of waves crashing in. The food is pretty expensive though and taste is average.,

Food: - Morning glory (80k) is overcooked. Quite hard to chew. Though the aroma is great. - Fried egg (80k) is average. - Oysters with peanuts and scallion (~600k). Interesting flavors that we’ve never had before. Worth a try but will we have it again? Perhaps not. - Snails with garlic butter (~400k) is disappointing. The snails are rubbery, hard to bite and chew. The butter is too overwhelming and I could not taste the garlic at all. Service: Be prepared that the staffs are not going to understand your questions. They do not have the basic skills to hold a conversation in English. That includes asking about the portion size, price, etc. it’ll be easier to use google translate. The price is definitely not worth the quality of food and service.

I had a wonderful experience at a seafood restaurant in Đà Nẵng. The reception and sales staff were professional and welcoming. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Most importantly, the food was delicious – fresh seafood, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. Definitely worth coming back and recommending to friends!
