We came here due to good reviews and the Michelin bib gourmand mention. The beachfront dining patio was excellent, giving expansive unobstructed views of the beach, hearing the waves in front of you. The wait staff was attentive and helpful.
The food was good, but it was hit/miss for what we ordered. The slow cooked pork & shrimp, sautéed morning glory with garlic, crab soup and crab soup with corn were all very good. They were cooked and seasoned just right, but the crab soup with corn was warm not hot and so was not as good as it could have been. The garlic butter Bánh mi was not as expected; instead of a savory bread to eat with our meal it was sweet (!) with almost a carmelized sticky sugar over it and tasted like a strange dessert. We could not eat it. Seafood stir fried egg noodles were also a disappointment. The noodles tasted like cheap packaged ramen, the octopus pieces were hard and tough, very few shrimp and overall it also was a disappointment.
Overall we had 5 dishes, a water & beer for ~1,300,000 dong. A pricey meal for just OK food. Perhaps ordering the lobster or crab would’ve been a better choice for this establishment, but at double the cost.
