My Little Pizzeria

It is impossible for me to walk past this pizzeria without stopping in for a slice. It is in my opinion, as a lifelong NYer, that this is the best slice in NYC. I love the sauce, the cheese, the bread is the perfect thickness. Thin but not paper thin. I always get a plain slice because it's perfect. Everything from the painting on the wall to the fountain soda, takes me back to the authentic NY pizza I grew up eating. I'm telling you, this is the best when you want an authentic original NYC slice. Yes those other "famous" pizza places are good with their wood or bricks or whatever, but give me a steel oven, a no frills slice, with the best sauce and cheese any day over those fancy places. My Little Pizzeria is a slice of nostalgia heaven for me and I hope it stays around forever.

Me and my daughter are just pizza joint hopping looking for good pizza. We will still be looking. Pizza is OK nor is it bad. A little on the thin side, but not to saucy or cheesy enough. I bit greasy for our liking but if you are looking for a quick bite to eat, this place is worth a try. This is just our opinion on our search for some tasty pizza while visiting the area..

$3.00 Slice + 50 cents/topping. I had a righteous slice with sausages & peppers, so $4.00 for a LOADED slice. It tasted even better than it looked; so good that I got another, and I was stuffed. Sure, the selections are few (no ham or pineapple = no Hawaiian Pizza), but they are generous with what they have. There are two dining areas with lots of tables AND an outdoor dining area that I spotted too late. I WILL be back for more and to post photos of the spaces. I definitely enjoyed the experience and recommend this tasty spot. Back AGAIN & AGAIN; Still Great ! ! !

This is a great basic NYC slice at a reasonable price. I’ve only bought slices here so I can’t speak to the whole pies or other offerings. Though they recently got rid of the fountain soda machine, they have plenty of seating and in warm weather you can’t beat their outdoor seating area - it’s pleasant and quiet.

Spacious but barebones pizzeria, almost perfectly equipped to be a dine-in optional fast food venue. Menu is simple and direct, with prices more competitive than its neighbors. Food is solid and may not impress, but definitely won't disappoint.

A visit to see my family in Brooklyn isn't complete without a stop here. The pizza never disappoints. It's what a NY pizza should be. He up enjoying their pizza for a long as i can remember, now my wife and our kids do the same everytime we visit.

I ate some extra cheese slices, and they were well cooked and very very streachy cheese. It tasted fresh and hot from the oven and had a tender taste of cheese and sauce, ending in a great slab of bread, a signature new york slice. They also have wonderful options on their menu.

2 slices and 2 cokes for under $10. How could I complain!? The pizza was hot, fresh and tasted great. Staff was quick and friendly and overall the restaurant was pretty clean.

Solid pizza spot with very solid prices, I got a fresh mozzarella slice and 6 garlic knots for just around $6, not too shabby. Service was quick! I would get the plain next time. Love that they have a little area to add spices/fresh basil to your purchase. The garlic knots were great. Plenty of seating inside!

I walked by the other day and a friend bought a piece of pizza before meeting up with me. She had her slice and it was nicely packaged to eat in the car on our way to an appointment. Ive been going here my entire life, my grandparents too. They have wonderful fresh basil on their pizzas and while I was in college I would go multiple times a week. I love the charming booths and it feels like a classic Brooklyn pizzeria. In 2021, they wouldn't allow my mom or family to dine inside due to what was happening in the city. I am incredibly disappointed with this experience and due to this I'd never give them any money. Disappointed.

HORRIBLE!!!! I ordered a pizza pie from them today and was not satisfied with the customer service and the way this pizza was presented, meaning it was made sloppy!!! So I guess you can't ask questions cs they want to be sarcastic about the question!!! I asked if their pizza was fresh? They got offended bro I'm paying for a fresh pizza pie that all and I don't want it burned!!! Anyways they will not ever get my business I'm done!

Very good cheese slice. The slices heavier on the cheese and lighter on the sauce, but I think that the crutch is just perfect not too thin not too thick not flaky or cracker but a little moist. There is a ton of seating here which is a plus. Service id fast and friendly. The pizza slices are served hot. The Sicilian square slice was excellent. The flavor was great, and the crust was a little bit moist and crumbly which was perfect.

Lately, I've been finding myself visiting My Little Pizzeria more frequently and being satisfied with their slices. They've been around for years and was always one of my favorite pizza spots. But then, I had become disappointed with the pizza a couple years ago as outlined in my first review. Fast forward present day--I have resumed to enjoying their fresh mozzarella Margarita pie whether square shape or original style. Light crust, with a perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. Staff is efficient and the demand is high at prime lunch time as there's usually a line. I've returned to an old favorite.

This is your typical, local pizza spot. The slices are $3 each and they heat it up for you when you order. There's a good amount of seating in the back with an outdoor area as well. I got a White Slice while the boyfriend got the Cheese Slice. Maybe I made a bad choice, but the white slice was so bland that I couldn't even finish it.

6 minutes away by bike, and in the last month all of a sudden they refuse to deliver pizza, saying it's too far? They give no explanation beyond "the driver doesn't want to go there" and "the manager says we no longer deliver to Tillary". I wonder how many minutes is close enough for them to deliver, and how long they will stay in business no longer delivering to loyal customers. Or maybe it's just a money laundering front?

Best pizza in the neighborhood- Been going here for 13 plus years. Always great! Reliable delivery!

A more than solid neighborhood spot to grab a regular slice. Gourmet? No. But fast, plenty of seating, friendly team chattering to each other and hollering to regulars, and a reliable slice. I made the mistake of getting a coffee - don't branch out, stick to the pizza and garlic knots and you'll be happy.

I grew up in Brooklyn and this used to be one of my favorite pizzerias to stop by when in the area. unfortunately it seems their business is declining a bit as lately the staff seems a bit rude. also, they enforce a strict $10 card minimum so I would not plan to go here if you're only wanting a slice / drink and don't frequently carry cash. I won't be coming here again

Solid local pizza for fast delivery. We've only stuck with the basics. Reasonably priced.

NO FLAVOR! The pizza hasn't tasted good in the past 10 years, did the original owner sell it? This pizzeria has been established for more than 50 years I believe, and the taste has completely vanished. What's even worse is the attitude from the staff. When you place an order they seem annoyed and are rude !!!!! The counter staff always have disgruntle looks on their faces. I have witnessed them be nasty to not only myself but other customers as well. Maybe it's because they cant enjoy the beers, and Hennessy bottles they keep in the fridges the way they want to. I believe in supporting local businesses, especially pizzerias that have been around for a long time, but sadly after 35 years, I won't support this one. Straight down court street one can find a couple of more better and tasty pizza spots, and with more hospitable environments. And if the owner/s read this, thank the wanna be tough guys at the counter and register.

The pizza here is pretty average. I got the pepperoni slice and the regular one whole pie. The regular is a bit too thin and there isn't much cheese but the sauce is pretty decent. The crust is pretty bland. Not too much to say about it. It's not the best but it's not the worst either.

Pizza was booty, garlic knots are yummy. The workers are weird, strange men. There are better pizzerias honestly

Stopped in here today for the first time for a quick slice before going to Trader Joe's. It's a cute place with lots of topping options, and the staff is nice. I didn't get to take a picture of it, but I got the fresh mozzarella Sicilian. It was good, but my only gripe was the pizza wasn't hot when it came out, it was still a bit cold. I wish it had been heated up a bit better, but otherwise it was okay

NOT THE BEST......... the end Two workers I had an encounter with was rude. The pizza was not tasty at all, there's to much competition out there, step your game up.

Attitudes? Terrible. But that's how you know you're gonna get a great pizza perfectly crisped crust with just the right amount of sauce and cheese.

First Respondents who wear blue...tread lightly. Me and my coworker came in after reading some great reviews from google ...4.5 stars (a swindle). Silly me I didnt check yelp. We got there and the cashier cook was pretty rude. He yelled out" next!" multiple times knowing we both were looking at what to choose. When I answered he rolled his eyes and aggressively pulled out the roll. He didnt acknowledge my coworker at all. When he called out next my coworker ordered and he rolled his eyes so hard im pretty sure the earth shook for a moment . Once we were finally done he seemed pretty much annoyed by our presence. The food itself was mid to ehh. My roll was fine but my coworkers roll was burnt into the aluminum,a mess. We never got marinara either bc they ran out, the least they could do is tell us when we ordered, but no..we were busy rolling our eyes. When I came back in to ask abt the mariana he was actually nice for some odd reason, but this place is ehh.. the roll was 5 bucks and not too big at all, but decent. If you need a quick lunch sure , otherwise.. there are plenty of other spots.

Classic NY pizza! Busy busy busy esp around lunch time~ be Sure to check your order if you're getting lots, or something special... (forgot fresh basil once :P ) The hard working guys there are on point! The pizza is crisp on the bottom, with a lil give when you bite into it! Been a local customer for decades! If you wanna eat-in, there's visible seating just beyond the main counter, and lots more in the back! Buon Gusto!

This pizza is very very good I don't know how the rating isn't higher. I've lived in Brooklyn all my life and this is one of my favorite spots ever.

This place is on busy Court Street and perhaps for that reason, it's so easy to pass by! I must have passed it dozens of times but finally decided to step inside recently and order a slice. Loves: + $2.50 cheese, mozzarella, or sicilian slices with 50 cent for add-ons + nice staff (other reviews have said otherwise but I had a pleasant experience) + outdoor space (pleasant surprise and great for social distancing!) + extremely spacious inside Fun fact: They serve ice cream in the latter half of the store. I'll admit this place may not be *the best pizza you ever had* but it's good enough for me. P.S. Credit card minimum is $10, if not I hope you have your ca$h monies!

It's very difficult to give a pizza spot 5 stars but this one is not just a pizza spot. My parents, siblings and myself have enjoyed their food for decades. When I think of pizza, I mentally transport to here. I've even bumped into my former pediatric here. Their service is quick in case anyone is busy (NYC life). But if you do have some time, sit and enjoy the place with a slice or two I enjoy just watching people in and out or the patio area.

This is stellar pizza by any measure, as long as your measure is within the metropolitan area. I'm sure there's better, buy not within a five minute walk from my apartment. The red sauce is bright and uncomplicated - utterly unacidic - and the shredded cheese has no hint of that bitterness when cold that marks an inferior product. The pie itself is thin and crisp, and yet the crust remains soft and chewy. They even leave the odd bubble up top, which is fun, and reminds me of childhood. Because the dough is lovely, it also makes a tasty, chewy garlic knot. I would also give a special mention to the white pie, which does an especially good job of showcasing their adherence to simple, quality things. It is a bit weird that the overhead soundtrack is comprised of Latin American music, but I suppose not when you consider who has to be in the shop all day, and it doesn't detract. If anything, it might provoke a chuckle at the disconnect between what we expect and what we get, and how there"s sometimes a delicious slice in between.

Food was basic nothing special typical pizza joint but the service here is horrible to say the least. I'll just say the guys behind the counter need more patience and consideration if they want to stay in business because at that rate they will be out of business. I witnessed three service issues within 10 mins of being in there. I'm rooting for businesses I always do I don't want anyone to fail but they have service issues that need to be remedied and if they are to blind to see it maybe they shouldn't be in business. Too many good pizza places in NYC to have bad service. Best of luck

A great go-to slice. It's been-- amazingly-- pretty much the same for decades. Classic neighborhood slice joint, in a genre that's getting to be an endangered species. I hope they're here forever.

Can't beat the price and the consistency. Great for a lunch slice, or in our case family movie night delivery. We get the plain cheese pie and a sausage roll on the side, and everyone loves it. It arrives crispy, hot and delicious. NO FLOPPY SLICES!!! There are some fancy snazzy overpriced 'pizza' places around us but it's like trying to eat a wet uncooked pancake. My little pizza is the bomb. It's real pizza. tldr; want an actual slice of pizza? This is the place. 8/10 would reccomend.

The pizza is delicious. Love the balance of the sauce and good quality cheese. I enjoyed the nice crispy texture of the Sicilian slice and my daughter really enjoyed her pepperoni slices. Best thing I really like is they're not stingy with the toppings. Well worth a trip to Downtown Brooklyn and stop for a good slice.

Despite the saturation of good pizza in NYC I have been ordering here for the entire 7 years I have lived here. Even when I didn't live in the neighborhood. I love this place! It's a no frills slice or pie shop. They deliver to the nearby area using Slice. I was vegan for 9 months and this place was the reason I reverted back to meat & dairy. I went to countless restaurant with friends and watched them devour all my favorite foods, I went to a wedding and could only eat iceberg lettuce and a roll, I even resisted Mexican food cravings (being from Cali this is huge). But one day I broke down and ate a pepperoni slice! And I haven't looked back. Eat here! You won't regret it!

CAUSE: - HIDING SEASONING FROM PAYING CUSTOMER -TREAT WOMEN and PEOPLE OF COLOR DIFFERENT. not friendly My family used to patronize this business ever since I was a kid. Their pizza was always good However, due to new management or employees - how customers are treated remains in question. I was surprised by the behavior of the staff behind the counter. The heavy Mexican gentleman behind the counter, who fashions a baseball cap was not so friendly when taking our order - he MOVED the cheese shaker a way from my child after she picked it up to dress her pizza for the second time. Isn't it what I paid for? What rightful business HIDE pizza seasoning from a customer? I saw what he did, I was standing right there. Then, he started talking in Spanish to the other Mexican that was preparing the italian pizza as he peered at our table. I didnot understand why he though it was ok to behave in that manner. My daughter saw what he did. I had to explain to her, when we left - why people do the things they do. * although this is a place my family use to frequent, due to how they treat WOMEN or Certain RACES, we will find another place to spend our money. My Little Pizzeria staff: should learn how to treat paying customers particularly women and people of color.

I'd give a zero if I could they sent cheese instead of a supreme. The guy who answered barely spoke English and I told him a supreme with everything. They did this 2 times same result! Bad place to go. I am from out of town....don't order from here!

Needed a quick cheese slice before the movie. Good service. Good pizza. $2.50 a slice, .50 for toppings. They used gloves. Plenty of seating. I would return.

Terrible experience ordering a pie for delivery. Ordered a large sausage pepper and onion, received and paid for a plain cheese in a sealed box. Called immediately to request a replacement. Was first told to keep the plain pie and the correct order would be sent over. Ten minutes later the owner called back to say we must have ordered the plain pie because "the person who took the order was born here" - a reference to my wife's use of Spanish in the follow-up call requesting the replacement - a language that the owner clearly understood. Flatly refused to replace the order or make anything good. Would never patronize this business again.

A no frills pizzeria with a delicious plain slice for about two bucks?! No wonder this place has been rockin' on Court St. since 1985. We stumbled in after our Thursday volleyball game down the road at pier 6. Appropriately, "Throwback Thursday" comes into mind when stepping in here. They've got the old school menus and those orange drink / fruit punch machines, and the only pies on display are plain and a fresh mozzarella variant. That's right: no BBQ chicken, no taco pizza, no ziti slice...no BS. Only plain slices for $2.25 + .50 per topping...brilliant! Crust was soft and foldable, sauce had a touch of sweet, and that oh-so-gooey cheese was aplenty. If you're anti-grease, you might wanna give these slices a little pat down before devouring though! There's plenty of seating inside, but venture towards the back for additional indoor and outdoor seating, as well as an ice cream/gelato stand selling desserts.. also starting at just two bucks! #winning

Disappointed been visibly this pizzeria over 15 years. It was dry no taste of cheese or spice at all. Left in the box overnight threw out. Bought two Meatball pizza and pepperoni. Only two missing in pieces.

Been eating here for years. A classic for a plain slice and damn good garlic knots. Quick delivery. Better than most places in the area apart from fascati's but it also owns in the nostalgia area.

This is not a bad spot just to chill before going to the movie theater. The chicken roll ($4) isn't bad, but I wished it was a little bit cheesier. There were a lot of kids in groups in the back area seating and I noticed their pie was nice and hot, super cheesy I wanted to swipe one! It must also be nice in the Spring as they have a nice back garden area with additional seating. It's also got a cute dessert area.

The place has gone downhill. The pizza use to be halfway decent, but now it is cold and greasy. The staff is unfriendly and checked out. Sad

I love their pizza! It has the best marinara sauce on it. I love the sweetness of the tomato in their red sauce. The cheese is pretty awesome, too. If you order a Sicilian($2.50), there are two options, fresh basil and marinara sauce or freshly sliced tomatoes and cheese. There are sausage rolls and other veggie rolls in the back behind a glass window. They also have sodas and other beverages available. In the past, I got garlic knots which were served hot, not soggy at all, and just salty enough with fresh garlic and parsley on it. Man was it good. There is ample seating about 8 to 10 tables and it is pretty clean inside. I like the fact that the line moves fast and they serve the pizza hot out of the oven. It makes me feel happy when it's crisp and delicious--the pizza, that is. One thing that I would suggest is handing out receipts, because I paid one person but then got my pizza from someone else, so how do you keep track of who has already paid? Other than that, I really like this place. I think it ranks higher than DiFara & Grimaldi's in my book.

Pleasantly surprised by this pizza by the slice shop. Pizza was good and with crispy crust, just the way I like it. But beware the garlic knots - they smelled like sweat/ dirty rags.

Ordered delivery. Had to warm everything up. Rolls weren't crispy at all. Pepperoni slice was really great. Special slices were decent. Might have a better experience in-store. Editing to 1 Star: girlfriend only had the Eggplant roll and got a little food poisoning.

My go to pizzeria for 30yrs. This is the quintessential NYC slice that I judge all others against. It's not Roberta's or Lucali but it's not trying to be. I hope it will always stay the same as it's a reminder of how NYC used to be.

This has been there forever! Glad it is seeming to stay open amidst the changes in the neighborhood. Eat here! Support long time businesses. Ate here the other day after not eating there for a while. I was VERY pleased. It's sad that it can be hard to find just classic New York pizza in Those parts of Brooklyn these days. It seems like everyone's trying to do something fancy. I know they also have a pretty nice yard. You can rent out the back for events I believe. I've seen kids birthdays there.
