I stopped by Mỳ Quảng Quê Xưa and ordered the mì quảng tôm thịt. The place itself is really nice—clean, comfortable, and it has that kind of traditional vibe without feeling old. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which makes a big difference when you’re sitting down to eat.
The dish came out looking great. They present it really well and the toppings all looked fresh. Flavor-wise, it’s on the lighter side compared to other versions I’ve had. The noodles were a bit softer than I usually like, but that might just come down to personal preference. Some people might actually enjoy that style. The shrimp and pork worked well together, and the broth had a clean taste that wasn’t too strong or heavy.
Overall, it’s a good spot to try this classic local dish if you’re in Da Nang. Even though it wasn’t the best mì quảng I’ve ever had, I still appreciated the effort, the clean setting, and the warm service. I’d come back again to try some of their other dishes and see what else they do well.
