Best Restaurants in Seattle’s Green Lake Neighborhood | Eater Seattle

"This is a classic neighborhood Greek restaurant serving the food classic Greek restaurants serve the world over: souvlaki, moussaka, fresh-tasting salads with olives and feta and vinegar. A big plate of food here is around $20, which qualifies as affordable these days in Seattle (especially in Green Lake), but whatever you get don’t leave here without trying the potatoes. These are simple potatoes, roasted in olive oil and herbs and lemon, but the texture is that incredibly hard to achieve combo of tender but not oversoft. Some people come here just for the potatoes. Maybe you will too." - Harry Cheadle

The 12 Best Restaurants & Bars At Green Lake

"Mykonos Grill makes some of the best Greek food in the city. The falafel is crispy and well-seasoned, the chicken lemon rice soup is like drinking a blanket (we promise that’s a good thing), and you get a lot of bang for your buck if you order an overstuffed gyro. There are a bunch of tables where you can sit and eat, or you can grab some takeout mezze for your own personal pita picnic. It’s a thing." - aimee rizzo

Outstanding! Everything we tried was really tasty and fresh. We sat at one of their patio tables on a sunny evening — beautiful. I'd definitely recommend starting with the dip sampler. There are some really unique dips and the pita is super fresh and delicious. Plus, you'll want the sauces for your main course! The server was kind enough to bring us cucumber slices for our gluten-free party member. I'd also recommend the avgolemono soup. As for your main course, both the lamb chop platter and the classic gyro are excellent. The lamb chops are incredibly tender and flavorful without any gaminess at all. And the gyro is on that same fresh, soft pita with juicy meat and a really tasty sauce. For sides, the Greek potatoes are a must. Soft on the inside but caramelized and chewy on the outside, and full of rich, lemony flavor — perfect on their own, dipped in one of their many sauces, or used to soak up the beautifully rendered fat from the lamb chops. The Greek fries are also really tasty. Overall, we enjoyed an excellent meal with a friendly server and reasonable prices. This is definitely going into our regular rotation!

Google
I did not expect the Gyro from here to be as good as it was Starting off, the pita was absolutely packed with filling - to the point where it was basically impossible to try and eat anything without it spilling out profusely. There was just so much contained in here, and it made for a messy yet beautiful eating experience The pita was cooked perfectly, and acted as a great container for everything. The outsides were charred well from the pan-toasting, and it managed to hit the right balance between not-too-hard to act as too much of a barrier and not-too-soft to pass through too easily The amount of vegetables in here was also pretty insane. It was filled with iceberg lettuce, but I liked the tomatoes, and especially how full it was with onions. The onions really stuck out to me and elevated the overall taste What was the real star of the show here though, was the meat. This was really, really good stuff - it's probably the best gyro meat I've ever had. You could tell this was fresh because of how crispy it somehow was. Each individual piece had so much flavor to it - it was unreal. It somehow managed to be both crispy and juicy at the same time - particularly the beef. Also, the tzatziki sauce was both plentiful and fantastic For the price of around 12 dollars, the amount of food you get here is a lot, and it's a fantastic deal Overall, this might be the best gyro I've had in Seattle. If I ever get a chance to I'd love to try the Greek fries as well. 9/10

Really nice seating area. Really fast. The owner was right there taking orders. The spanakopita was excellent. The meat was sumptuous and plentiful. You got bang for your buck here. Fairly quiet, would be a good date location.

Google
A quaint, homey family-owned restaurant with special care on the plates, interior decor and the authentic food quality. We ordered the Dip sampler plate, Chicken Souvlaki plate with a side of Greek potatoes. This place is a gem tucked away near Greenlake with very authentic flavors, hefty portions and a cozy vibe. I loved the particular attention to detail as the restaurant was decorated with paintings and art from Greece, and the plates resembled plates bought in local artisanal markets in the area. All of the ingredients in the dip sampler tasted fresh, and the pita bread was served warm. The chicken Souvlaki was cooked fresh, and the meat was very tender and juicy. Also, the servers were friendly and down-to-earth with a family-owned atmopshere. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was on the slower side and the seasoning on some of the dishes were on the saltier side.

Google
I didn't think anything could taste better than the Greek Style Potatoes served here until I ordered the lamb shank and had them also served smothered in lamb shank sauce... *mind-blown*. Also highly recommend the hummus to ward off the Cullens. YUM!

Google
March 2025 We were staying nearby, and this seemed like a good place for dinner. The place is dimly lit, with 2-4 people tables and one 8 people square table. There is also a waiting bench by the order counter. The staff took a while to notice and seat us. It seems most of the customers order takeout at the counter or online. The staff also wait until a customer arrives to clean off used tables. Note they do charge extra for bags and containers if doing takeout. The tablecloth was sticky. They gave us a 1 liter pitcher of water. The staff were polite, but mostly left us alone. We had to go up to the counter to pay afterwards. The food was delicious and well cooked. The avgolemeno soup tasted like lemon chicken in soup form, with a very prominent lemon taste. We got a side dish of gyro meat, served as long slices. It was very yummy, with a tiny bit of crisp along the edges. Also decently moist for gyro meat. The chicken skewers were white meat and little bit dry. The lamb skewers were moist, though a little bit chewy and tough. The pita was fluffy and chewy, excellent. The orzo was also excellent, chewy and melty. They have 1 men and 1 women bathrooms. Note they are small and cramped, definitely not for a handicapped person. They were clean and dry, but not very well maintained. They were missing seat covers and the roll of paper towels was sitting on the counter. Overall, good food and ok service. We would probably come back again.

Google
Mykonos Greek Grill was amazing. As part of a graduation celebration, we wanted someone to cater our picnic lunch and Mykonos surpassed our expectations. With a quick call, they put together a perfect set of dishes to ensure everyone had something to enjoy. When the day came and we were running late, Mykonos quickly adjusted and still had our lunch ready to go. At the event, nearly everyone commented about how delicious the chicken and gyros were and enjoyed the treats Mykonos provided. Highly recommended for any large group events.

Google
Came here to try souvlaki and the flavors were there. You get to choose between orzo/potatoes and also rice/salad/soup. However the service was soooo slow, the worst I’ve been to recently to the point I was so annoyed. Other people just got up waiting for the check or menu straight to the counter. I also see that in the reviews it’s a universal experience. Would not go back.

Yelp
Great food! Awesome and accommodating staff, and just a quaint restaurant. I was in town for a boat show, we stopped in twice so the different salesmen could experience the place. Also tried the hummus and tzatziki. I'll be back whenever I'm in town!

Yelp
Came in on a Tuesday after a round of Pickleball so we were hungry. Ordered the chicken tikki gyro. The pita was perfectly toasted. The ratio of lettuce to chicken to tzatziki was perfect. For $11! A gem in the economy My only complaint is that getting our order taken, took a while, even though there was only one other table. The food took some time to come as well, but no complaints there because it was made fresh.

Yelp
The interior is nice, with white tablecloths. Dip Sampler Plate-Served with pre-made pita sliced into easily scoopable portions, this came with small portions of tzatziki, skordalia (garlic potato dip), hummus, melitzanosalata (eggplant dip), and tyrokafteri (spicy Greek feta dip). I am not super familiar with Greek food (which was apparent when ordering), so I wish that the server had pointed it each out when dropping off the food. It was a great sampler! Beef Plate-One skewer of beef with salad, rice, pita, and tzatziki. I was actually kind of confused by this since I had assumed that the beef would be chunks of beef instead of ground beef, as one of the other entrees (beef tikki plate) specified ground beef in the description. The beef was cooked to perfection, as it was juicy and flavorful inside. The rice was a bit on the softer side, but still good. The pita and tzatziki were the same as in the appetizer. And the salad was salad, pretty hard to mess up. Very solid take on Greek cuisine!

Yelp
What happened to this place? I stopped in for lunch and they served me prank lentil soup that was seriously over-salted. Maybe they bought some kind of soup concentrate? The salad was unpalatable. Everything was unpalatable. The table cloth should have been changed out a very very long time ago. Just gross. I was unable to finish my food. Did they change owners? Was I in some kind of reality TV show where they attempt to make disgusting meals and then wait to see peoples' reactions?

Yelp
We ordered the chicken souvlaki plate and lamb souvlaki plate, which come with a side of pita, salad, and potatoes! I really liked the chicken - pretty juicy and charred. But I was most impressed by their pita bread - it was slightly buttery? I usually don't like pita bread but these ones had a nice buttery fragrance and warm and pillowy. The interior is pretty cute and cozy, but the service was quite slow since there was basically one person working all the tables and Togo orders. But I think it's worth it if you're craving delicious Greek food!
google avatar

Yelp
I came in for lunch on a Friday. It was pretty empty, and I was seated right away. Service was friendly and prompt. The tablecloths are those sticky plastic ones I think are kind of gross. But the food was so good! Homey in that exact way I was hoping. I got the shrimp saganaki with a side of rice, and I could've licked the plate clean. I wish there were more reasonably priced, simple, delicious restaurants like this in Seattle. I'll be back!

Yelp
Pleased with this place. We stopped here after a quick Walk-a-thon for cancer. Had a party of 4 with a furry friend. They let us sit in the outside seating area and gave us a small takeaway bowl for water for the pup. We started with a calamari dish which was great! The breading was light, crunchy, and easy on the gums. The dipping sauces were a great compliment to the calamari and not the usual of what you see at most places. Dishes ordered; Gyro Salad Plate...great overall, but the meat was a bit salty for me. Easily minimized with their tzatziki sauce. Dressing was perfect and didn't see one piece of questionable lettuce on the plates. Lamb Salad Plate...good chunks of lamb and not as salty. Very well seasoned and the salad was on point. Egg Plant fried (name started with an M, hard to pronounce, and in the appetizer list)...batter was different from the calamari, smoother texture, and thicker. My wife said it was a bit too oily for her liking. Gyro sandwich w/fries...this sweet lady had eaten the whole thing. It's a pretty hefty size pita and basically take the salad plate, stuff it onto a pita and there ya go. Fries were good. Crispy, golden brown, and not sitting in a bath of oil. All in all...I'd go again and recommend the place if ever in the area.

Yelp
If you're craving Greek food, this is the place to go. I had their Greek fries which tasted amazing. The fries were crispy and the seasoning with it was so flavorful and delicious. I also got their gyro and the meat was pretty tasty. There was a good amount of meat with it as well. The service was good. Servers were nice and friendly and the food was made decently quick. The pricing wasn't some as well The ambiance of the restaurant was cool. If I'm craving some Greek food, I'll be coming here again

Yelp
I ordered the Chicken souvlaki plate w/potatoes and salad. Chicken was perfectly charred, juicy, and flavorful. Potatoes were big and refreshing. Salad was nicely dressed. The interior paintings and decor gives Greece vibes Food 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Service 10/10
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious. It's so hard to find good Greek food recently but this place is IT. Their fries are crunchy, not soggy. The gyros have well seasoned meat with veggies. It has enough sauce and flavor. It's not a fast food place, it's more of a mini restaurant. You come in and get a menu and all that. The vibe is super cute and I would def come again.

Yelp
The place had great reviews and while passing by decided to try it out. I actually appreciate a good hole-in-the-wall spots. I think the one thing that stood out for me was their skewer chicken. It was REALLY delicious. Everything else, such as the salad, beef, lentil, etc. were an OK for me. Would I go back? Maybe just for that chicken skewer.

Yelp
Mykonos Greek grill is one of my favorite spots near Greenlake. The place always seems busy with takeout orders which is great to see! Came by here before a walk around Greenlake today. Was greeted quickly and seated by the window. We ordered the spanakopita appetizer which came with two large pieces, the classic gyro (lamb and beef) with crispy fries, and the eggplant entree with two sides - orzo and Greek salad. It was nice that you could select two sides with the entree. The food came out quick and hot. This is a good spot for authentic Greek food. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Had lunch with a friend during the week. It's a small spot and does seem to sometimes have tables outside but is mostly indoor. They don't have a ton of vegetarian options, but the vegetarian gyro was alright. Perhaps too many grilled peppers for my taste vs. a protein substitute or other interesting vegetable. The fries were good and price wise it was very good portions. I did like the tzatziki sauce. The service was pretty slow and you had to flag them down if you wanted anything, so more European style. The inside was bright and clean with some worn furniture, postures of the Greek isles, and clean and well-maintained bathrooms. They were adding some decor to the door as we were leaving too. Good stop for a quick bite.

Yelp
Mykonos is a family-run Greek restaurant in the Green Lake area. There is limited parking in the area so you might have to drive around the block a couple times until you find a spot. We ordered the classic gyro ($9.25) and a side of fries ($3.50). The gyro was big and had large portions with a lot of meat. Otherwise it was a pretty standard gyro with your typical gyro flavors and toppings. The fries were just okay and could've been a little more seasoned. The cashier was very nice and friendly and the food came out in 10 minutes so nothing to complain about there. This place is a good and relatively inexpensive spot that would be good for lunch as well.
google avatar

Yelp
New owners new business not the same restaurant anymore. The quality has gone way downhill. So sad as this used to be one of my favorites. They take lots of short cuts, very little protein in dishes and dry meat. My chicken gyro had three thin strips of something that resembled fruit leather and filled with just tomato and lettuce. With other Greek options nearby this isn't the place I'd recommend anyone anymore. Go to Sababa in Northgate or even down the street to that gyromaster place if you want that food. For REAL Greek food, don't look for it here.
google avatar

Gina H.

Yelp
Excellent food. Excellent service. Appreciated the suggestions and it was nice to find a tasty place that offered gluten-free options. I think the owner kept checking on us, what a wonderful man! We will definitely return.
google avatar

John E.

Yelp
Hoping the new owners are just going through some growing pains. I've always trusted Mykonos to get my gyros and avgolemono soup correct. My last visit all the food felt barely warmed up. The service was a little slow but ok. Thank goodness Kostas Opa reopened so there's a decent Greek place in the area. PS real gyros do not have lettuce or beef/lamb combo meat in Greece. They are pork or chicken. Food for thought.
google avatar

Svitlana S.

Yelp
Today walking around and decided try food in this place. Ordered falafel wrap with fries. Was not bad, falafel not dry, sauce is good not too much garlic, fries is good cooked, not overcooked. Service is fast, price not bad. But not wow effect. If will be not far I don't think is come back. Food just fine.
google avatar

Celina S.

Yelp
A solid gyro, but mediocre pork souvlaki and sides. We enjoyed the gyro a lot - the meat is tender and wrap comes with enough sauce and veggies to be balanced. Would recommend this one. The lemon orzo soup was fine. Usually would anticipate some chicken in it but there was none. The potatoes were just potatoes. And most importantly the pork was pretty dry :/ skip this one. You can dine in but they are currently serving in takeout boxes. So you might as well takeout and eat at the park.
google avatar

Chloe C.

Yelp
Had a wonderful lunch here today and honestly cannot wait to come back! The avgolemono soup was some of the best I've ever had! 10/10 food and the owner came out and introduced himself to us, so kind. Will be back and will be bringing friends!
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
We had dinner here the other night and the food was excellent. My friend is vegetarian and she got the falafel side order and the Lima beans in tomato sauce. Both were excellent. We shared the dip sampler and we loved the tzatziki, hummus, and the cheesy dip. The garlic and eggplant dips were okay. My lamb and beef gyro was huge and filled with a generous amount of thick tender slices of meat. The lettuce and tzatziki a at made it very fresh and balanced. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of food and the quality. Also their pita bread is absolutely delicious. It stayed soft and fresh even after cooking down. Overall I would love to eat here again

Yelp
What an amazing Greek restaurant in the heart of Green Lake! I'm surprised I haven't been here before and now that I have it will be my first stop for Greek/Mediterranean food in the future! I ordered the tzaziki (which came with heaps of fresh and yummy pita) as well as the Garides Saganaki (prawns in oil and cheese) which I of course dipped in the yogurt. It was a most delicious meal! Currently they are running takeout orders only but there are three two top tables out front where you can enjoy your takeout from this place. Perfect! My friend ordered the regular Saganaki and the falafel platter with orzo. We agreed it was a most savory and delicious meal! The food took about 12 minutes from the time we ordered and while parking took a few circles around the block, was not too difficult for the lunch hour.
google avatar

Jenny F.

Yelp
My favorite Greek/Mediterranean restaurant in Seattle. Absolutely unbelievable lamb chops w salad. Amazing hummus. HUGE portions. Everything is good, can't go wrong. And easy to order for pickup!
google avatar

Chelsia L.

Yelp
My partner and I always walk by this little restaurant when we're walking around green lake and we finally had a chance to try it out for lunch! We both love Greek food and gyros so... we got a gyro each. My partner had the Classic Gyro and I had I had the Lamb Gyro. Currently, there's no dine in option, but they do have three two person tables outside their shop for their guests. It was a warm Sunday afternoon and things couldn't get better! The shop owner was lovely and offered to bring food out to us. As you can see from the picture, this gyro was no joke. It was HUGE, stuffed with so much veggies and meat! The gyro was fresh and delicious! I will say it was messy to eat but that ain't stopping me! I'm excited to add this to my 'go-to' list for a yummy lunch!
google avatar

Kirsten J.

Yelp
Amazing, new spot. Got the lamb gyro it was so good. Would highly recommend it was very fresh.
google avatar

Faisal F.

Yelp
Food taste was meh! I'm surprised the number of positive reviews they have on this app. The menu displayed on Yelp is older than the current menu. The service was decent. Quiet Place recommended visiting during evening time just before nighttime.
google avatar

Myriam T.

Yelp
The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I ordered take out but kinda wish I stayed for dine-in. The food was so delicious & the gentleman at the front was hospitable while I waited for my to-go order. Will definitely be coming back here when I visit Seattle again!
google avatar

Tony C.

Yelp
Fix your online ordering system so you can see the notes. We requested no feta because my wife is pregnant and it's clearly written in the receipt for our pickup order. The food is otherwise great.
google avatar

Hide I.

Yelp
One of the best lamb chops I've had in the US. The services is a typical Greek outfit; grumpy old guys and younger guys talking to each other instead of paying attention to the clients. But the food is totally worth it.
google avatar

Jessica Y.

Yelp
There are better Greek places around the neighborhood. Our food came out and my husband and I both looked at each other really confused. Why was this place rated so well? I had to go back to the reviews and realized our mistake... All the good reviews were based on the old owners. Doh! We made such a rookie mistake looking at the stars without reading the recent reviews. I've never seen orzo look like Chef-Boyardee before. That was a first. My husband's falafels were dry and stale. My moussaka looked like slop served at a high school cafeteria. There were also vegetable samosas listed as a special. Very confusing, but now I understand why. Probably should have been our big red flag, but we were hungry. I won't say we'll be coming back. Maybe if the owners decide to convert it to a different restaurant, like Indian.
google avatar

Brenda T.

Yelp
Wonderful food it is a great stop to make when in green lake!! I loved the Fresh food and home made feeling. The gyro is amazing, the beef and lamb is too in a grill stick.

Lucy D.

Yelp
Good gyros, but i would not recommend the fries. Nice outdoor seating area right next to the lake
google avatar

Luba K.

Yelp
This place is so underrated! A part of me wants to keep this secret to myself, but that's not fair to the hard working family that owns and runs this magical spot. Luckily, I live walking distance to this gem - so I'm here quite regularly. The crew is so efficient, as clearly they've been mastering their craft and have it truly dialed in. I've tried several things on the menu and here are my thoughts: Dip Sampler - tzatziki, hummus, melitzanasalata, tyrokaftiri, skordalia  and three warm pita breads. This is a great app if you have a few hungry people with you. Love that you get to taste the variety of options in one dish. 10/10 Spanakopita - two triangles of a delicious blend of spinach, feta and herbs wrapped in crispy filo dough. A little too salty for me, but still good. 7/10 Dolmathes - five tender grape leaves, stuffed with rice and topped with tzatziki served with warm pita bread. Always a must. 10/10 Classic Gyro - beef/lamb combo is the way to go, IMO. These gyros also come with warm pita bread, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and topped with tzatziki. I always add feta + kalamata olives and remove onions. 11/10 Gyro Plate - I get this when I'm really hungry. Strips of Gyro meat served with choice of potatoes or orzo and soup or salad and warm pita with tzatziki. 11/10 Overall the portions are big and most importantly, each meal is made with care. Great value for the price. Thank you for all you do!
google avatar

Lawrence M.

Yelp
First the good news. The chicken and lamb skewers were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The calamari wasn't bad. The dolmades were ok. Beyond that, I'm not sure this is really a Greek restaurant anymore. No idea what the orzo was that they served but you won't find it in Athens. It's pretty clear the new ownership is going in a new direction that I wouldn't recommend. No music, slow service, and no beer and wine.

Terrie C.

Yelp
This restaurant changed hands and the quality has dropped. - Horiatiki salad had almost no flavor, the pieces lazily cut into big chunks, and tomatoes were not ripe - the rice that comes with the entrees is basmati with Indian spices? It doesn't taste Greek and is bizarre with the moussaka I ordered - their menu now has Indian food items - the tzatziki is less flavorful than before
google avatar

Kimberly H.

Yelp
I've eaten here a couple times now and meat on the Souvlaki Plate is a bit tough and has a bit too much of a charred/burnt taste at times, I think if the meat was tender it wouldn't be as bad maybe? (chicken, steak, and lamb). The lemony Greek potatoes are very very good, the salad is good as well which comes with the meal. The container it comes in for delivery is not the best, is almost soaked all the way through when it arrives. If the meat was tender I'd give five stars happily, I'm not sure I'd recommend until meat is tender and doesn't have a charred/burnt taste on it. Website shows pork as an available meat but I didn't see that when ordering online, I'd love the option of that if possible.

Yelp
This place was fantastic. Let me tell you how. So it's a super cute intimate spot in Greenlake, and they're off on a side street, and I'd never seen it before. But I was mapping out my errands today and found it and I had to try it. I'm so glad I did! So we go in, they seat us at a 2 top table with a colorful tablecloth, and ceramic shakers. And I'm already liking it before I even put anything in my mouth. Then we look at the menu and get to ordering, and I highly recommend what we got. So we started out with the hummus with fresh, warm pita. And we got the kalamata olive+feta+tomato plate, and ooh! That was good! Those flavors together are amazing! We then had the house soup, and the greek potatoes. Those were really good too with the hummus. And they're shareable! Then we ordered the spicy chicken wraps. And these were their own rude. They start out with the savory chicken taste, then you chew a little and get the spicy, then you shallow it, and you finish with a herby afterglow. It's really a great layered experience in flavors. Keep in mind, it is a wrap, and you will get messy. So if you want a neater way to explore it, go for the plate instead. But I definitely recommend you try this place! I'd had a long week and coming in and having a nice meal here, was a lift! Never underestimate the impact of a good meal made by good people. That's what you'll get here. Thanks!

Jessica C.

Yelp
Just had a wonderful lunch at Mykonos! This place is even better under new ownership. Same menu. Better decor and a few new touches that make it great!

Yelp
My wife is always on the search for good Greek food. That said, because of Covid, our search has become a good Greek TAKEOUT food quest. Enter this great place, Mykonos. Calling in the order was a breeze, food is fast, and they even ask us how long it will take to pickup the order, to time it being ready when we show up. I appreciate that they care to have hot food when we arrive. My wife likes Gyro sandwiches, and I'm all about Gyro Salads. We do get the Fries.. which let's talk about that now. The Fries are delicious, and tasty. Heck I'm already dreaming about them, and my mouth is watering thinking about hot, crispy, tender fries. The Gyro meat here is delicious, not dry, moist. So in any application, it works great. The seasoning is perfect, and everything seems like it was prepped same day, and not from any prepped foodservice bag. Overall, this place is now one of my go-to Greek take outs. Once this stilly covid thing calms down, and they offer in-restaurant dining again, we'll be here.

Yelp
This is HANDS DOWN the best greek food I have ever had and the people that own it are so lovely! The service is always wonderful and the food is beyond delicious! I stop here every time I'm in the area and would recommend it to anyone who is a lover of authentic mediterranean food!

Yelp
I ordered the gyros sandwich, and it wasn't authentic at all. It was too greasy, and there was this strange red sauce that I'd never seen on gyros before. I ate a sliver of meat and threw the rest away.

Yelp
Phenomenal food and service, we had a chicken plate and it was delicious! The perfect spot following a walk around the lake. We will most definitely be back.

Yelp
Came with a friend after attending an afternoon play at the Bathhouse Theater. I had high expectations after viewing their menu online and seeing their near-5-star rating on Yelp. Only one other table was occupied outside when we arrived, and being such a nice day we took a neighboring one. Inside was empty, but it was still on the early side for dinner, so we didn't view it as a bad omen. We each ordered a falafel gyro ($9.50, plus $1.50 to add feta) and shared the dip sampler plate ($14.50) which came with tzatziki, skordalia, hummus, melitzanasalata, tyrokafteri, and pita. I thought it odd that the dips all arrived in plastic to-go cups, but it did make it easy to take a couple with us at the end of our meal. Garlic was featured prominently in all of them, maybe to the point of overkill for me. My husband would have been in heaven had he joined us. The gyros were hearty. I think I hardly ate half of mine and took the rest home. The falafel, however, were not good. Very overdone and unpleasant to eat. Service was not much to speak of. I think we had three different people greet us, take our orders, and bring us our food, all rather apathetically. Not really seeing what all the fuss is about. That being said, I'd still like to come back to try the yigantes yahni and the spanikopita.

Yelp
Have been a regular for almost a decade. We miss the old owners but know they were so ready for a new chapter. I have been pleasantly surprised with the continued quality of the food but this should be no surprise-- the couple who took over kept the cooks on staff and inherited the recipes! There are just a few kinks they need to work out with service. Table vs take out presents for a bit of a disorganization in their scheme of operations. That said, the new owners appear to be wonderful and eager to get things right. I do wish they'd consider getting a liquor license back! I miss having a glass of Taki's Greek wine with lunch.

Yelp
The Greek food I was hoping for and diminished my ability to properly enjoy my beautiful chicken Tikka roll from Spice Walla was not here. (Please read my Spice Walla review) I don't know how to give a half point because this place is a 3.5 making it a strong seven. Unremarkable menu. Unremarkable tatziki. Unremarkable eggplant dip. Sigh. My dining partners loved their food. I tasted the falafel plate. Now that was gorgeous. Didn't try my other meal partners chicken wrap, but that got a good review, (and I trust him). I guess I will have to go back and try again. Service excellent. Ambiance quaint and sweet. Three words. Gotta go back.

Yelp
Located on a quiet side street, not at all flashy, inside or out. Under new ownership just a month ago. Short version? Friendly welcoming owner and staff, delicious food, what's not to like about Mykonos? We went on a Thursday afternoon, after the lunch rush was over. My friend had the falafel platter and the souvlaki lamb platter. Neither one of us are tiny people with tiny appetites. Neither one of us were able to clean off our plates. Everything came out piping hot and it was all off the chain delicious! Since I live just a few blocks from there I intend to be back regularly.

Yelp
Came here for Friday dinner. They only provide outdoor seating (3 tables) - I really appreciate business owners being so cautious. We got gyros, dolmathes, and spanakopita. I got the "classic gyro w/ salad", which I took as meat and pita on salad. In fact it was lamb + beef gyro w/ salad on the side, so double the portion I thought. The gyro tasted alright but had an impressive portion of fresh ingredients. Both the dolma and the spanakopita were quite good. Cheap price, big portion, average food.

Yelp
So we had to order since the power went out for a few hours. It did not disappoint. My cousin ordered the dipper sample plate, 3 classic gyros, one with fries and the other 2 with Greek salad, and my nephew got lamb skewers on the side. It was such a delicious meal. It is so fresh and truly makes me think of a homemade meal. The pita bread is fresh and warm and goes perfectly with the sides. We definitely make this a stop when we are in the area.

Yelp
They have really good food and decent prices. We split the fried zucchini appetizer and chicken souvlaki. It was nice day and we sat outside. Both were great.
