Entrance through cold and unappealing lobby of hotel was a bit weird. Upstairs you have a nice casual bar, a shady warehouse style connection area and a rather upscale dining area which all serve the same menu. Good for a drink and something to nibble on the side. Friendly and attentive service staff

This restaurant is BOMB. All the food is good. You cannot go wrong going here. Also, they have a super cool bar area right when you walk in. It's awesome. To get to it, go into the hotel and go up to the second floor.

Great experience at the Burritt Room. Thoroughly impressed by their service and also messaging me after having a mediocre experience. It just goes to show that they care - and it works. The kindness shown by Rita (the GM) and Ryan just proves that they value their customers and want to grow their business. I'll be back. We had a very positive experience at Burritt tonight. I brought a good friend of mine and we tried the Mark Twain, Aged in a Barrel, and their secret drink Wingtip. I still think Mark Twain is the best, then Aged in a Barrel, and then Wingtip. It's worth trying once since it's not on the menu. The avocado and squid are the best apps. I went for the beef and him the pasta - both you can't go wrong. Add in some brussel sprouts and you have a winner. We skipped on dessert because we were just too full! I am thankful for the generosity of the managers at the Burritt Room. After a not-so-great experience there, we gave them another chance and had a blast. Will definitely attend again as we frequent this place for cocktails, and this time will bring the crew. Kudos to our kind waiter Cody as well.

Cool place to get a strong cocktail. They are very serious about it. I only had one, but it was really good. They have live music (which we missed). I'll definitely be back and update when I've had more experience.

Burritt Room has a sleek and modern vibe to attract a professional happy hour crowd. The handful of times I have been here, the service has been prompt and attentive, drinks are solid, and food is quite delicious. Never had an off moment, ever. I also enjoy watching the handsome men and gorgeous women mingling. Good eye candy too. Once I was here for Wednesday evening dinner, and there was a pleasant live band in the bar area. My friends and I were still able to carry on conversations in the dining area. But the noise level is probably too loud in the bar area to talk shop. Rather I always think of the Burritt Room as a place to unwind after a long day. The place is solid, and I hope it retains its popularity, which seems to be fleeting in 5-year cycles with many SF restaurants and bars.

Amazing food and ambiance - great for a nice dinner with friends or a special occasion! The fried oysters and pan-seared duck were delicious! The drinks are amazing, and the live jazz rounds up the vibe perfectly. The waiters were great at recommending cocktails based on your preferences, or custom making one to meet your tastes. There were not too many vegetarian options on the menu, but the staff were great at creating off-the-menu options for the vegetarians/vegans. All in all, a fantastic experience, will definitely be going back!

Came here late last night for a last minute cocktail. I was thoroughly surprised at how nice this lounge was. They have great cocktails and if your keen on it, ginormous fruit punch bowls. The vibe is great and the bartenders are really knowledgeable and helpful. The clientele is primarily tourist, but that's to be expected since it's in Union Square and by other hotels. Still a great place to stop for a drink though, if your in the area dining or shopping. The also have a menu of bar bites that I'll have to try next time.

My friends and I start many of our nights here. The Burritt Room is located on the second floor of a boutique hotel. The atmosphere, clientele and decor can't be beat. If your looking for a place with cheap drinks don't come here. Come here if you want to get a high quality cocktail from professional bartenders. I've been here about 20 times and the experience has always been a positive one.
