I came here first just to try it out because it's close to home. The burger was good, the service was friendly and fast, and when another patron walked in the staff immediately knew her as a regular and got her order started without her even having to say anything - hallmark of a good local spot as far as I'm concerned. I came, I saw, I took a burger straight to the jaw and so far haven't been particularly compelled to return as I'm not an avid burger eater.
But today I had a craving, and with today being the 3rd time that "America's Drive In" has had a completely malfunctioning app, rude employees, and incorrect orders I figured I'd go back to Mytiburger.
I don't know why I was bothering with the drive in anyway. Happy hour I guess? Cherry Dr. Pepper? Not worth the hassle.
Mytiburger has better food by a mile and the employees are super nice and easy to talk with while you're waiting/checking out. They have nugget ice too!
Fries are on the thick side and perfectly cooked, chili on the chili cheese dog is well spiced albeit a little on the salty side... but let's face it, if you're ordering a chili cheese dog you prroooobably aren't keeping an eagle eye on your sodium intake.
If you're not sure about trying it based on it looking a little run-down, don't let the appearance sway you. It's been around for a long time and there's a good reason for that, so give it a shot.
