Tried Naan N Curry in Issaquah and everything we ordered was really good. The chicken biryani was flavorful and aromatic, with perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and comforting—exactly what you want. The fish dish was also surprisingly good, well-seasoned and cooked just right. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. Service was friendly and fast. Overall, a solid spot for Indian food and definitely worth coming back for.

The food was an amazing but a little too spicy for my liking (I have no spice tolerance but everything was still amazing). The garlic naan was good but I preferred the original better. The staff and (maybe owner) were really nice and helped us greatly. Saffron rice was also amazing, but the bottom part of it was really spicy. Would recommend and go again.

We stopped at Naan N Curry in Issaquah as we were heading towards Leavenworth for the week. My favourite was the butter chicken but honestly everything was great. The place was clean, the service was fast and friendly. Overall, a solid spot for Indian food.

Incredible! Naan n Curry never disappoints! You can tell their food is made with so much love. The chicken biryani was incredible 1 perfectly spiced, super flavorful, not dry at all, and the chicken was super tender. The chicken tikka boti was my favorite - really juicy, smoky, and lots of flavor. The malai boti was also really good. The paneer tikka masala was pretty average - probably the least favorite thing we ordered. Definitely coming back!

The service is always excellent — Jesus goes above and beyond every single time with genuine hospitality and attention to detail. We have eaten at Naan N Curry in Renton before, but went to the Issaquah location for the first time and really enjoyed it! The food and service were excellent! The restaurant was decorated with nice pieces of artwork from locations in Pakistan, reminding us of "home" - such a nice atmosphere.

1. Absolute gem of a place for authentic Indian and Pakistani food. Their biryani is the best I have had in Seattle yet. It’s our regular go-to place. 2. The best way to get a table is to do a reservation. We haven’t been there without a reservation so hard to comment. 3. The food is slightly on the spicy side so better to check with your server and let them know about your preference. 4. Portion sizes are all shareable. 5. The staff is extremely courteous. 6. Since it’s a family style restaurant, it’s a bit noisy at all time, sometimes with kids running around.

Balti Gosht... I had Pakistani cuisine many many times. But this place takes the crown. I had multiple team lunches & dinners at this place. Their menu is different and the wait staff is very friendly. They were very accomodating when our party got there without a reservation. Everytime I been there, I always order Balti Gosht & Naan. I could never go wrong with that. A must try in Issaquah

The name is always the order we make - Naan (their Garlic is simply awesome!) and a couple of curries, plus usually a biryani. That always leaves enough leftovers for another meal for my family of four. The service is always great - whether you eat in or take out. In general, we will always walk up to order so that the restaurant gets to keep all the money we pay for the great food. The one curry that is on EVERY order we've made is their Chicken Tikka Masala (Butter Chicken to Americans). It is creamy and unctuous, just the right amount of spice to sweat a little, and generous with the meat. After settling on the naan and first curry, then the battle begins in my family for what's next. My vote usually goes to the dumm biryani. Naan N Curry does this one right! A normal biryani usually has cooked rice and cooked meat combined. A proper dumm biryani is slow-cooked and often sealed in a heavy-bottomed pot and cooked over a low fire. One taste of the rice in their biryani and you'll know that they did it right. Each moist delectable grain is infused with so much flavor that you don't really need anything else. My go-to is usually the lamb dumm biryani, but every once in a while they will have a fish biryani. This is off menu, so you will have to ask for it. It is definitely not slow-cooked as the pieces of fish are still crispy, firm and not over cooked. We suspect that they take their vegetarian dumm biryani and mix in pieces of their Lahori Fish Tandoori. Then, we add a second curry - usually a korma or gosht. And then a chana (chickpea) or bhindi (okra) masala, or bengun bharta (roasted eggplant). Along the way, we've also tried their lamb seekh kebap (minced meat) and their chicken boti dark meat which are all delicious.

Since Naan N Curry opened, my family has been ordering takeout from them. Our go-to is always the chicken tikka masala and chicken dumm biryani. We love how flavourful the chicken tikka is, perfectly cooked and paired deliciously with garlic naan or biryani. I wish there was more chicken in the curry, though, because my family has definitely noticed that over the years, the amount of protein in the food has decreased. We came into the restaurant on Halloween because my father was craving their biryani and it was also Diwali. We made a reservation on OpenTable (sorry Yelp) and were seated immediately when we got to the restaurant. There were only a few other patrons there and we appreciated the calm and intimate atmosphere. Along with the chicken tikka masala and the dumm biryani, we also ordered lamb boti kababs, garlic naan, and plain naan. All the food came out promptly and was delicious. The chicken tikka masala is my favourite and the spice level for all the food was perfect for us. Honestly writing this review is making my mouth water. We definitely will continue to patronize Naan N Curry; because we love their food, we just wish they stopped cutting the amount of chicken in their food. We paid nearly $100 in total, and considering how much they've reduced the protein in their dishes, the price is unreasonably expensive and not as worth it as it used to be.

I usually do not like Indian food because of the over-empowered spices (curry and cumin). I saw the high rating reviews and decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a wait list. Most people ordered to go. We were lucky and it didn't take long to be seated. The restaurant was warm and cozy. We ordered the Achari Boti and Malai Boti. They were very tenderized and well seasoned. The lamb korma was delicious, the chicken tikka masala was rich and just a tad bit sweet for me. Both garlic naan, regular naan, and the rice were very tasty. They went well with the dishes. Overall, I was so happy to adventure and broaden my food horizons. We definitely will be back again.

Amazing experience! The food, ambiance and service was outstanding! The wait staff was very attentive and thoughtful. Food was fresh and warm. Highly recommend the fish it was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

Loved the food at naan n curry- I've tried a variety of their kebabs and curries and they are always good! Did takeout once too and it was prompt and just as good as in the restaurant. Small note- I think they cook chicken slightly better than lamb (chicken is always soft and juicy) but we compared the lamb and chicken biryani and liked the chicken better

I cannot believe I have been near this gem for the past 3 years and am only discovering it now! Naan N Curry makes the most delicious Pakistani food I have ever come across! I have now been here twice and the food is immaculate! So far I have tried their chicken biryani, chicken tikka, and pistachio ice cream. I can wholeheartedly say the biryani is my absolute favorite! The restaurant itself has such a lovely decor and ambiance. The service is okay, very to the point, business-like. Honestly I don't even really mind it given that the food is phenomenal! Maybe they don't want to bother anyone too much to ensure that most of your focus remains on their delicious food. I know I will be back soon with family and friends for the absolutely amazing chicken biryani

I came here on a whim based on a friend's recommendation and totally fell in love with this restaurant! I stop by anytime I'm in the area now! The outside of the restaurant is very lowkey, but the inside is very nicely decorated with beautiful wall art, dimly lit lights and marble tables with flower on each table. It is not too loud and suitable for conversations! Food: all the dishes we order was so yummy and well done. The plating and presentation were all very pretty. Vegetable Pakora: perfect appetizer, crunchy, the dipping sauces were just right Dumm Biryani with lamb: so good and flavorful, portion size was huge, the meat was tender Chicken tikka masala: extra creamy and delicious, would totally come back for this dish Mughlai Korma: very good Onion salad: very refreshing for a summer day, the taste is not overpowering. Service: the food arrived very fast, service was also super fast, the servers cleaned up the dish and refilled the water promptly. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants on the Eastside!

Dear Yelp People: this is the greatest Indian food I have ever had and it's not even close. It's been 26 years on this earth and I am blessed to have tried many Indian restaurants all over the world. I can tell you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, this is the best by far. Came here after a simple easy hike (I tell myself that to forget the pain) with a couple lovely locals. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our seating needs. The ambiance is classy yet not over the top. And the food... The rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The Chicken Tikka Masala was divine - smooth, creamy but not heavy, tasty, perfect. I dont know how I can eat other tikka masalas from now on. Garlic Naan - my goodness. So fresh. So tasty. So well textured. The tandoori paneer was awesome, as was the chicken tikka boti. You MUST go here. Stop reading this review. Stop thinking about it. Just go.

We have been to this restaurant a couple of times. Both times we were impressed by the food and the service. The decor is minimalist but inviting. Both times the service was very prompt and courteous. The food was delicious. Highly recommended!

Wonderful lunch specials here. Don't sleep on this best Indian restaurant. They make everything in-house now & interior is lovely. Tikka Masala, Daal, don't forget onion salad. Wish they had aloo gobi. One of the best Indian/Pakistani restaurants around. Great for catering too.

Hands down one of the best restaurants!! Everything we had was tasty and fresh. The pureed eggplant dish was out of this world. I love the offerings of both Pakistani and Indian dishes. It offers something a bit different. From the outside it doesn't seem like much but a typical strip mall restaurant. But as soon as you walk in you'll be amazed-the decor is tasteful and elegant. It gets packed here as soon as it hits close to 6pm but great news that they take reservations! Service has always been great.

The food here is so creamy and delicious! Both of the curries we got tasted amazing. The portions are slightly small, and the prices are a little expensive. However, for the flavor of the food, it's definitely worth it! I can't wait to come back. I wouldn't get the mango lassi though; it's too thick and very sweet.

Had dine in lunch on Saturday and there was plenty of seating. I love their biryani so we ordered a bunch of that. I tried keema and bengun bharta for the first time and they were both yummy. I also liked the palak paneer. We had yogurt sauce with the biryani and it enhanced the flavor and made it even yummier than it already was. Adding that little bit of cream really brings it to a different dimension. The mango lassi was good too - super mango-y, very thick.

Definitely a hidden gem in issaquah! Tried Pakistani food for the first time and it was delicious. Highly recommend the daam biriyani - so flavorful and savory. The butter chicken was also really good, but just a bit too rich and buttery for my liking. The service and atmosphere are great!

I thank them for their diligence and look forward to returning for their food! !!UPDATE!! We love naan and curry's food and are regular goers. Last night we ordered 3 chicken dumm biriyani to go. When served to the guests, someone pointed that there was a dead fly in it. Then we looked closer and found a total of 4 flies in there. Very humiliating in front of the guests, utterly disappointed by the hygiene and handing.

It's the go to place for Indian food in this area...Their kebabs and biryani are amazing! A Must try for kebab and biryani lovers!

The food here was so good! It was my first time trying palak paneer, but I will definitely be ordering again the future. I also really liked the mughlai korma bur probably wouldn't get it with lamb again. The chicken biryani was also amazing. The chai was ok, and the tikka masala was too creamy for me. Service was fast. We needed to make a reservation though

Love love love this place!! Decor, service, food is all amazingly consistent. We walked in for dinner and had about a 30 minute wait on a Friday night. The wait was worth it. We had the garlic naans with balti gosht (mutton) and Achari chicken paired with raita and salty lassi. All were delicious. Happy eating!

Naan N Curry is one of the best Indian spots I've been to in the US. They recently spruced up the whole place with a renovation, and it's made a big difference in the vibe. The service was also very quick and seamless. They're running a solid operation. The lamb biryani they serve up here is top-notch. It's got just the right amount of spice, and the lamb in it is super tender. You can totally tell they've amped up the flavor with some lamb goodness. Now, the butter paneer here is hands down the best I've ever had. It's different from the usual butter paneer you find elsewhere - it's thick and creamy in a unique way. It's my go-to curry on Naan N Curry's menu. I also tried the lamb karahi, which was a great change of pace from the Butter Paneer. It's got a bit of spice, and it's not as creamy, but it's delicious. And, once again, the lamb was incredibly tender, just melting in your mouth.

My friend recommended this place and the food was delicious. I actually missed the ordering of the food but know we got kebabs, biryani and Chana masala. Each dish tasted great and the lamb in the biryani was not gamey tasting at all.

So delicious and flavorful!! It was quite busy on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm, but we only had to wait ~15 minutes. The service was great--we were checked in on, given recommendations, and our water was refilled constantly. You could tell the mango lassi actually had real mangoes in them (even though the drink itself was a little too sweet). The naan was average. What really stood out was the chicken dumm biryani and the lamb keema. The biryani had huge chunks of chicken with great texture and not too oily. The lamb was so tender it fell apart with a fork. For Pakistani classics, I opted for the Lamb Handi. Among tandoori dishes, the Chicken Malai Boti. The biryani arrives, its colors vivid and its scent alluring. It conjures up ancient tales of spice caravans traversing ancient lands. The basmati rice stood tall, each grain a glistening sunbeam. Moist and aromatic, the rice refused to clump together. Beneath the rice, the lamb chunks emerged--a succulent revelation. Marinated in a yogurt blend, it had absorbed the essence of ginger, garlic, cardamom, cumin and the secret spices. Each chunk yielded effortlessly, a melting sensation that spoke of slow-cooked patience and culinary finesse. The caramelized onions, like soulful notes, lent depth to the ensemble. They released their umami magic, weaving a rich tapestry between the rice and the meat. "Dum" means "breath" or "steam" in Persian/Urdu--a heartbeat echoing through centuries. Layers of par-cooked rice and marinated meat melded and harmonized. The pot trapped steam, ensuring moist, tender meat. It's an art and Naan n curry has definitely mastered it. Best in Seattle? Definitely ... Best in States ? Maybe ... Let me paint the picture for Malai Boti Chicken: each succulent piece of chicken, marinated in velvety yogurt and cream, exuded moisture and tenderness. The creamy texture, a gift from the yogurt infusion, enveloped every bite. And those charred corners? A delightful contrast that added depth to the experience. skewered and grilled to perfection, carried a subtle smokiness--a nod to expert craftsmanship. Drenched in Creamy, velvety yogurt spcied sauce each soft bite of lamb felt like a warm embrace--a comforting journey for the senses. We paired with garlic naan, this dish left an indelible mark. The final piece to the secret, conversation with the young visionary behind Naan-n-curry Issaquah - Shan Janjua. He is carrying forward the legacy of his father, who started the original Naan-n-curry in Renton, which still thrives today. We will save this story for another time. Remember, good food memories are meant to be shared, so i did. Bon appétit! * I ate the leftovers three days after storing them in the refrigerator, and they were still fresh and tasted just as delicious. This speaks volumes about the quality of the food. It's rare for restaurant dishes to retain such great flavor even after being refrigerated for days.

Hands down this is the best Indian/Pakistan place in the Pudget Sound Area. Ambience 5 star, Food 5 star and great service. The biggest pain point with Naan N Curry is actually getting a reservation. This is really growing in popularity and for the right reasons. The food is so flavorful and at the same time it is not spicy. I tried the dum Briyani and it really stood out. It has a unique flavor and the chicken is so tender. The other recipe I tried was Chicken Balti. That was great too. Will come back here for more - if I get a spot here again.

I have been here about 3 times. Tasty food and some good vegetarian options. Their specialties are obviously NOT the vegetarian stuff but as vegetarians we liked the baingan bartha, vegetarian biryani. Service is good also.

Ambience - 4.75/5 - I really liked the ambience, being an Indian restaurant. I was pretty surprised. it's modern and not at all congested as Indian restaurants usually are Food - 3/5 Balti Chicken (3/5) - Balti chicken is meant to be sour because of tomatoes. However, I could only taste the tomatoes. It felt I was eating Bharta Masala with Chicken We ordered one Naan and one Roti. Both of them looked so alike that we got confused which one is which Service - 5/5 - Service was super quick. Our food came in literally in 5 mins. We were in and out in 15-20 mins

Good flavor for sure. But damn, my $20+ order of tiki masala had maybe 3 small cubes of chicken in it. 1/5 purely for the price and amount aspect

Ok foodies, this is my second day in a row at this restaurant. The food and that good. I can't say enough about how well service was all the staff paid attention to everyone eating. I didn't have to ask for anyone to come my way because they were looking my way waiting to serve me. My food came quick. The energy in the restaurant is so relaxing. I came during lunchtime and everyone was there pretty fast. I dined in so I really got to take it all in. Everyone looks happy to work at this restaurant. Everything was clean and pleasant. I'm so happy this is close to my job and will be back.

It's a gem I didn't know about until my 19 years old googled for best Indian food near us. Naan N Curry popped up as Pakistani restaurant. I have never been to a Pakistani restaurant before but I did had lots of Pakistani food thanks to my amazing friends. Any way we drove and showed up at the restaurant. the host greeted us with a smile and asked us if we have a reservation. I answered with no she said no problem and got us seated. The restaurant was 75% full. We sat down and we did the order, The restaurant is a good size, smells amazing and super clean, I love the decorations and the whole look of the restaurant. Bathrooms were super clean and that's a plus to me. We got the chicken tandoori, lamb biryani, chicken masala and garlic naan. Holy moly the best fooooooooooooooood ever. Our waiter was amazing and very polite as well helpful. The manager walked around and talked to each table checking on them so that's says a lot when he is putting the efforts to check on his customers and have the biggest smile ever. We finished our meal with pistachio Ice cream and chat tea and they didn't disappoint us at all. My mom didn't want to leave until she finished all her tea. So as we were waiting for my mom to finish her tea we started reading the note on each table. To my embarrassment I found out this restaurant is by reservation only!!! They didn't say anything and didn't let us feel unwelcome or show us any indication that hey lady you need a reservation to be able to get a seat. The host was sweet and humble to seat us. We are and we were so thankful to get seated and to find this Gem . We will be back for sure so soon but next time I will be making sure to have a reservation :-) Thank you again for the amazing food and hospitality!

As usual, the food and service were excellent I really appreciate the fact that their dishes have high-quality meat portions, and very few are no bones included, which makes eating far more enjoyable and less hazardous

An authentic Pakistani dine-in place with wonderful food and great ambience. We were here for dinner on a weekend and the place is pretty packed. We waited for a while and ended up with a table . The meat appetizers were super flavorful and the meat is melt-in-the-mouth tender. The service is fast and prompt. Loved all the lassis .Naan is soft and airy and the curry ordered is delicious. The food is not spicy and extremely flavorful ,catering to a wide range of palettes. The biryani though is too mild and tad bit sweet for my taste. Can't wait to dine in again!

I've driven by here many times and can't believe I've never been here until today. My friend kept telling me how good their weekday lunch special was so I decided to give it a try. From the plain storefront, the interior is nicer than I expected. It's fairly dark inside, but the decor is elegant and tasteful. There are white roses on the tables and artwork on the walls. The host who greeted me was also my server and was very polite. There's a nice variety on the lunch menu and most items were $13. I ordered the lamb Dunn Biryani which came with a salad. When my food arrived, I was a little surprised that the salad was just some sliced onions, and what looked like just a large portion of rice. But once I dug in, there were many pieces of lamb in the rice. The lamb was so moist and tender, and it practically melted in my mouth. The rice was perfectly seasoned and had a little bit of sauce, and the caramelized onions added a sweetness that balanced with the spices of the lamb. The onions and the yogurt sauce offset the rich flavors of the lamb and rice perfectly. There were many flavors I had not had before and I thoroughly enjoyed my dish. It was enough food for two people, and I was only able to eat a third of my plate. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the food and the restaurant. I will definitely be back!

The restaurant finally opened up the in dining experience. The interiors look wonderful. Ample parking space. We ordered the vegetable biryani. Previously, it had a wonderful taste but lately after the reopening the taste has somehow changed. Service wise nothing to complain about.

Food here is very mediocre. It lacked flavor and was missing the wow factor. The food otherwise was cooked well (piping hot) but lacked several spices. Service was very attentive and polite. They frequently provided eye contact to ensure our table didn't need anything else. Waters were refilled frequently. We enjoyed the ambiance as well. It was very clean and modern. Unfortunately the food really was lacking in flavor which is why we won't be back.

Stopped here on the way back into Seattle after a hike and it was a great stop! They're reservation only but were able to get a table for 6 with an hours notice on a Saturday. The food was super tasty and perfect for sharing during our post-hike feast! My favorite was the butter chicken and palak paneer. The garlic naan was also a big hit. I thought the decor inside was really nice and there were lots of tables to choose from. Will definitely stop here again when I'm in the area!

Excellent food and service! We've been eating at Naan N Curry for years, and the Indian food is legendary. We always order the Chicken Tikka Masala, and end up getting 2 orders just to have enough leftovers for the next day (even with the portion sizes being generous, it's THAT good.) While the location is in Issaquah, we had moved to Woodinville and would still pay a crazy delivery fee to have the food delivered from Issaquah to Woodinville... it's amazing. Highly recommend!!!

Naan and Curry offers a pleasant ambience and quick service. As a vegetarian, I found the menu somewhat limited and the vegetarian dishes were average. However, I did enjoy their pakodas, which were unique though a bit oily for my taste. On the other hand, my non-vegetarian friend raved about the chicken and lamb dishes.

This Pakistani restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants here in the PNW. We usually get the same thing every time cause it's just that good. Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, saffron rice, and garlic naan bread. The biryani is so flavorful and the sautéed onions on top is what makes it. The Masala is the best! A little sweet and has a kick to it. Flavor is all there. Can't go wrong with a little garlic naan either. Also the service is on point. Everything and everyone runs so efficiently. Last but not least, the decor and atmosphere is amazing and beautiful. Overall love this place. MUST TRY RESTAURANT!

Visited the place post pandemic and I feel they have done some renovations during the pandemic. The place looks more modern and welcoming now. Note: When I visited they were taking dine in only with reservations. The menu is the same. The food is amazing like always. Quick service and yummy food. The price is on the higher side. But worth the food . Quantity of food is good for the price.

Pros: Fast when you order to go. Consistent with their flavors. Chicken tikka masala is their best dish. Cons: They dont have samosas or vindaloo. The roti can be greasy, but we have only order it to go.

We stopped by on Tuesday to avoid traffic going home and decided to eat in. We usually do takeout, but was not disappointed with our experience. The food and service was amazing. We ordered chicken tikka masala, daal, saffron rice and GARLIC NAAN! It was 2 of us and we had leftovers!

Ambiance is good. They have plenty of parking of parking. Food is good but limited vegetarian options. We tried paneer tikka and pakoda and it was good. Service is quick.

Ordered twice from them recently. Chicken Balti and Mango Lassi were phenomenal. Chicken Handi was a little too tangy for my taste but it was really fresh. Heard a lot about this place in past. Tried once during covid and it was pretty meh. But so glad we gave it another shot post covid. Excited to try more dishes !!!

This is DEFINITELY my Favorite Indian place in Seatlle area! As a yearlong big fan of Indian food, I've been having Indian food every week wherever I traveled. I can say this place has the BEST Chicken Biryani and BEST Chicken Tikka Masala I've ever had in my life so far, so flavorful and yummy!

Writing this review is hard. I'm salivating as I'm writing this. Highly recommend. Upon walking in, the first impression was "wow it looks soo nice!". Truthfully from the storefront signage, I was expecting a super casual restaurant (mostly to-go orders). I was so wrong! The restaurant had Upscale interior decoration from the living room furnitures to wall art to the bathroom decor! The service was 5/5. I wasn't too hungry but still ordered decent portions, thinking leftover would be nice. Ordered: Lamb Seekh Kabab (under Tandoori), Lamb Dumm Biryani and both sesame and garlic naan. Everything was so flavorful P.S.- their lunch specials looks like a great deal! You get some of the most popular dishes along with rice and naan and salad all for $12-14.
