81 London Restaurants Keeping ‘Eat Out To Help Out’ Discounts Going Into September

"An all-day Mayfair bistro that serves everything from tiger prawn tacos to rigatoni alla vodka, NAC is maintaining it’s Monday-to-Wednesday EOTHO offer for all of September." - oliver feldman, rianne shlebak

The Best French Toast In London

"NAC, a popular French-inspired bistro in Mayfair, is a destination for its famous crushed milk chocolate cookies with Frosties soft serve. But you should know that they also have a killer Speculoos french toast with raspberries and clotted cream. The fluffy, photogenic piece of brioche is available for brunch and an all-day dessert, and deserves more recognition than it gets. Sit in the downstairs dining room, filled with green velvet sofas that are perfect for groups. Just make sure you book as lots of other people want a bite of that french toast too. " - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

A Definitive Guide To London’s Best Pancakes

"We’re going to do something different and start with the negatives of the pancakes at this all-day, French-inspired Mayfair spot. They’re only available on weekends, which seems like a rather selfish thing to do to the pancake-deprived people of London. The positives: the fluffy ricotta pancakes at NAC are light as air, which is why the thick dulce de leche sauce it’s drowned in pairs perfectly. It’s also topped with banana which makes for a fancy banoffee situation. This is a super popular place so don’t turn up without a booking." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

NAC - Review - Mayfair - London - The Infatuation

"Whatever time of day it is, at least a third of the diners at NAC will be tucking into its famous crushed milk chocolate cookies with Frosties soft serve. The downstairs dining room of the French-style bistro in Mayfair is where you want to be. It's filled with green velvet sofas that are perfect for groups and has pretty pink walls. The street-level room feels more like an in-and-out brunch situation, with couples sharing truffle mac and cheese, and a view of the outdoor terrace that stays relatively packed out even in the winter. The food is from all over the place—you’ll find veal schnitzel and ahi tuna poke bowls on the all-day menu. While it may not blow you away, the dishes are consistently pretty decent. The best time to come is on the weekend for brunch, when you should absolutely get involved with the excellent ricotta pancakes and the speculoos french toast. Just make sure you book as lots of other people want a bite of those pancakes too. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Rianne Shlebak

Yesterday my friend and i visited NAC for the FIRST TIME and wow we loved every second of it! Will the host was so welcoming and gave us great recommendations, and the waiter that served us Abdulai B was so kind, hospitable, and helpful so thank youuu for a wonderful experience! The food was picture perfect and tasted even better than it looks 😍😍 we left so full and so happy! would defff come back for that dessert alone!!

Wren

Google
Overhyped, overpriced, and underwhelming. I genuinely don’t understand the hype around this place. £18 for a side dish? £16 for sliders the size of mini donuts? £13 for a non-alcoholic cocktail? The prices were absurd and unfortunately, neither the flavour nor the service justified them. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least deliver on something- taste, portion size, or service. We were barely checked on during the meal, and had to flag down another waiter just to get our bill. Also the table we sat at was so cramped! The only redeeming part was the dessert and even that tasted like something I could make at home. Honestly, this felt like style over substance. Definitely don’t recommend and definitely won’t be returning.

Google
Such a wonderful dining experience. They were able to seat us a bit earlier than our reservation and the ambiance is casual yet chic. Great food and of course, the cookie was delicious. Ipty was such a wonderful server as well, loved her!!

Google
Our third visit and yet again a perfect experience. The staff are polite and attentive, food is delicious and very reasonable for the amount you get. Extra recognition to our waiter, Moussa, for making our experience top class. He was courteous, attentive, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again! Thank you

Google
A Truly Unforgettable Experience I’ve had the privilege of dining at some of the world’s finest restaurants, but this particular place stood out in every way. The ambiance was exceptional, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the food absolutely exquisite. Every bite was a delight, reflecting the highest level of culinary craftsmanship. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the incredible hospitality. I want to extend special praise to the restaurant manager a tall, handsome gentleman whose kindness and professionalism left a lasting impression. His genuine care for guests, graceful manners, and personal assistance at our table made our visit not just a meal, but a memorable event.

Google
Delicious! The viral cookie dessert is life changing. All the food was great but that dessert is worth the hype. Our waitress Ipty was lovely. Great service.

Google
I came on a Friday around noon, and it was pretty crowded had to wait in line 😅 I honestly came here just for the desserts! They seated us outside, my friend and I decided to order one of each. In our opinion, the Affogato was the best followed by the popular Cookie Ice Cream, and lastly the French Toast. As the cookie was quite sweet (though the first bite was amazing!), but it got a bit too rich when ate with the ice cream. The Affogato, on the other hand, also had cookie and ice cream, but the coffee shot balanced everything out really well.

Google
Delicious food, great atmosphere and excellent service from Moussa! Truly a wonderful dining experience enhanced by our lovely server (who speaks French!) Highly recommend the cookie :)

Yelp
NAC was one of our favorite meals in London. They had a little bit of everything. We didn't have a reservation but were promptly seated at the bar. NAC has a darker ambiance with a cozy feel. We ordered the truffle burger, halloumi fries, popcorn chicken, and kale salad. Everything was a hit. If you get anything, it HAS to be the crushed milk chocolate cookies for dessert. The cookies were fresh out the oven and gooey, with a perfect ice cream on top and crunchy corn flakes. Everything about this place makes me want to go back already!

Elina C.

Yelp
we had a reservation and waited over an hour but the second a family that was wealthier walked in they sat them down right away. I was told i'd receive a text when it was our turn after an hour and 15 minutes I never received a text as they continued to seat everyone else

Brooke C.

Yelp
This was one of my favorite meals in London! The vodka pasta and popcorn chicken bites were delicious. The cookie skillet was one of the best desserts I've had!

Yelp
Are you ready for the 411? Here we go...we went here on our final night of our trip and again the food was making. From the kale and cabbage to the crushed burrata to the rigatoni to salmon, there food was simply amazing. Our sever was helpful and such a delight. The food can be eaten by individual plates or family style. The ambiance is very nice for a date or for family. This is my daughter's go-to place when she is in London. You should make it yours too!

Yelp
Such great food and ambiance! The service was great, people were friendly and it was in such a nice area of London.

Yelp
We were in London for 9 nights and this was one of the best meals we had! They don't offer many options on the menu but what they do offer is delicious. We started with the halloumi fries and they were so good. We had the pasta, steak au poivre, and the burger! All were delish! Lastly make sure to save room for the cookie cereal dessert. So good!

Yelp
Very good restaurant for breakfast I hope every one comes to eat in that restaurant good good testy , Service good very quality, Ambiance very good
google avatar

Chigozie O.

Yelp
It was just too good! Popcorn chicken is a must, cheese, truffle Mac. The ambiance is really nice and cozy as well.
google avatar

Ziyi Y.

Yelp
Pretty good French place but nothing very special. I was shocked by how hard the popcorn chicken is (I had trouble picking it up with a fork). The bread crumbs outside tasted super interesting and I think there was a tint of curry flavor in the middle of the chicken, I enjoyed it more as I ate more. The poke bowl as pasta was standard.

Yelp
Loved it! Great atmosphere! Service was friendly and speedy!! Water was self- service which worked for us.

Hoor A.

Yelp
At the beginning, there was nothing that indicated a reserve, and they told us to wait. We have waited for 10 minutes. Then, after waiting, we sat down. We were trying to get a waiter's attention, but every one of them was ignoring us. Most of the menu was either wine or vodka. This was a bad experience. I don't recommend going to it.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Everything was excellent. Food is great, service was excellent, coconut iced late was delightful. Worth trying.
google avatar

Yousef A.

Yelp
Don't go there. Average food and extremely rude and racist manager. They made us wait more than 30 minutes past our sitting time then they decided to put a third chair onto a two person table and there was a four person table witch the manager gave to three person table because the other guests were French and we are not

Lisa M.

Yelp
I cannot recommend this place enough! The best meal we had while visiting London. The ambiance, service and food were all great.
google avatar

Abe K.

Yelp
We ordered breakfast here and it wasn't that great. We were greeted with an awful fishy stench. We waited for dessert for a complete hour. This is unacceptable at all. We asked our waiter to check on our order and they didn't and had to be asked several times to check on it. On the whole the summary of this restaraunt is as follows: You wait too long, attitude of waiters is below standard and fishy smell welcomes you in In short DO NOT COME HERE!!!
google avatar

Areeta A.

Yelp
Okay. First and foremost this was truly one of the greatest experiences I've ever had! My friends and I went there because they were appalled that I've never had NAC's desserts before, so we ran all the way to Mayfair to see if they would seat us. They were unfortunately super booked but made accommodations for us to sit and have their crushed milk chocolate chip cookies with soft serve & frosties, and i'm SO thankful they made this happen for us. The dessert was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS and I want to give a big shout out to both Vincenzo and Elizabeth for going out of their way to let us have their desserts. Truly a great place with the best desserts in London town!!

Yelp
Truly disgusting service. Requested a birthday plate - never got one. They clearly have no interest in customer service. I called well in advance to advise of delays to the entire party because of the protest taking place right outside their door - they claimed they couldn't hold the reservation or move the booking. Extremely passive aggressive manager. Very rude waiting staff. Should definitely learn some form of etiquette and/or make use of the entire downstairs of the restaurant that was empty to accommodate paying guests instead of telling them to move their party of 6 to a 2 person table. Wouldn't recommend - waste of time and money. Ruined birthday celebration. Poor form.

Yelp
We are absolutely obsessed with this restaurant. We were recommended this restaurant when walking around aimlessly a couple years ago, and every year when we return to London, we make sure to book at least a couple dinners here. We always stick with the Hollyberry to drink, & the Free Range Grilled Cajun Chicken with Truffled Mac & Cheese, and frites, as well as the Crushed Milk Chocolate Cookies for dessert. For a starter, we have done the Torched Cauliflower, the Charred Honey Sweet Potatoes, & the Feta, ALL amazing. I recommend trying to sit in the main level if you want the vibe to be lively, and the upstairs for a quieter place.

Yelp
Winners on the brunch menu: shakshoka with lamb sausage, halloumi sticks, truffle Mac n cheese, and ofcourse... the ice cream cookie!
google avatar

Elisa T.

Yelp
Came here for a vey rushed lunch paid for by my awesome friend who works at Velocity (a food paying app). I thought the prices for NAC were waaay too high for the quality of food served. My steak tartare was nothing to rave about and at £18 it really should have been. The truffled Mac and cheese was the same if not a bit sickening after a while. Half an avocado with a bit of sea salt sprinkled on it was £3 and my jasmine tea with a bit of ice in it was £5! All in all an average meal with another star knocked off for the cost (£40/person with no alcohol). Not worth it if you ask me.
google avatar

Ali A.

Yelp
The restaurant was amazing and specially ASTRID who served us with amazing smile and amazing suggestion of food. I strongly advice to have a try this resultant.
google avatar

Lori J.

Yelp
Service and food spot on. I had the Quinoa and Pomegranate Salad along with the Tuna Poke. Generous portions but the food was clean and not heavy. They also have gluten free bread which is fantastic with a gluten allergy in the family. My husband said the burger was incredible! Everyone in my party of 5 gave it thumbs up!!
google avatar

Collin B.

Yelp
Quaint and beautiful small restaurant, thoroughly enjoyed the wine selected by the waiter, and my favorite dish was the halloumi fries.
google avatar

Victoria P.

Yelp
I felt really intimated by the male manager who made me and my friends feel unwelcome and unwanted in that space. We had reminded them that we were there for a birthday and yet still we got no birthday plate. They forced us to order early because they said it takes "25 minutes" for the food to come. Yet it only took less than 10 minutes. They are not interested in ensuring that you have a good time, they just want you to hurry up eat and leave so they can get money from another customer. Please don't go here as it will make you feel on edge and anxious whilst trying to enjoy your meal.
google avatar

Ashwaq A.

Yelp
Very disappointed. It took 40mins to be served an omelette. And the omelette was wrong....asked for salmon and no cheese, first got it with cheese then when I complained they just added salmon on top and ofcourse the cheese was still there. Over rated place.Prices were also too high for the standard of food served.

Yelp
I went to the NAC on Sunday for their famous churros, but unfortunately they dont serve them in weekends. We order the cooki and pancake deserts and they were okay. Service was off though, I believe they had a long day. One of them was chewing food while serving, and oreders took toooo long.
google avatar

Fatima A.

Yelp
Went for breakfast Had the Israeli combo Loved the ice coffee coconut Beautiful cozy settings and interior

M A.

Yelp
Hellos world I've been very disappointed of the unprofessional attitude and the rude if their stuff. First i went on Sunday at 6pm ask for there famous desserts but the reception told me you have to order main courses to have sweet and if u want only sweet you have to come between 11-4pm i said ok. I went again on Tuesday around 3.30, another lady was on the reception area, she asked whether we came for lunch & we said no, we came to have only desserts, she said our policy that you have to eat lunch first, we told her about her colleague as mentioned above. nonetheless, we told her this would be alright, we will have a lunch. She took us upstairs in a very tight area in the corner although some seats were available downstairs. however, we didn't comment on this, but what really made us upset that in-front of our eyes she instruct the waiter that we shall order lunch before having desserts, which reflects that she do not believe us and trust our word. We decided to talk to her and explained that this is unusual policy as you can't force the customers to eat specially that we came after her colleague promised us that we can come for desserts only. We also told her that we are disappointed and the attitude is not professional at all! As long as she don't have anything to answer us she kept silent and we left the restaurant without any apology and with out any explanation.

Yelp
I have tried a LOT of restaurants in London but NAC is definitely one of the best in town. The food is as good as it gets. I had an "oeuf parfait" to start which is a perfectly cooked egg (for 1hour at 65 degrees) with mushrooms and truffle ( one of the best starters I have ever had) then the breaded veal with a side of mac n cheese (heaven) and finished with the churros, their signature desert. Cocktails are also amazing, I personally recommend the BVC, a french cocktail that you won't find anywhere else. Other than that the place looks great, classy but not pretentious, the crowd was trendy and service very friendly. I'll be back very soon!!
google avatar

Fos G.

Yelp
This place is what you think London restaurants of the yummy mummy crowds look like. Unpretentious, pricey, delicious and absolutely worth it. It's menu is varied solid. The truffle mac and cheese, the cauliflower, and the cookies and ice cream dessert are fantastic. No seriously, the cookies and cream. I need a minute. Yeah it was that good.
google avatar

Amna S.

Yelp
Very overrated! Only thing worth having are the amazing French toast and cookies with ice cream that's it! Go for desert and coffee that's it
google avatar

Saoud A.

Yelp
The host made me wait for 20 mins and then she said you have to have a reservation. The service is poor also I had to wait 20 mins for a cup of coffee
google avatar

Caroline D.

Yelp
Amazing food! Coup de cœur for this new place, with a very inspiring menu and a cool athmosphere. We had a wonderful diner, the waiters are great and the food was very delicate. Strongly recommended : the truffeled mac & cheese and torched cauliflower (very original)! Loved it.

Steve L.

Yelp
Pasta looked like cardboard, restaurant was unhygienic (seemed like a colony of ants had found a new home), and manager was new to the restaurant business
google avatar

Philip C.

Yelp
I am staying in the neighborhood and decided to give it a try. I didn't have a reservation but was able to be seated. The food I ordered was simple and beautifully presented. The citrus quinoa salad with pomegranate seeds was perfectly balanced. Followed that with the cod and herb salad and a side of broccolini. All tasty in a subtle way so that flavors came through. Wished the skin the fish had been crispy but other than that delicious. My main took awhile to come out but overall service is good. I especially loved my waitress. Knowledgeable about the menu, recommended the perfect amount of food.

E. A.

Yelp
Someone has to say it - this place is highly highly overpopular. It does NOT deserve 4 stars. Service was so bad that I had to ask 4 times for a table, then I had to go and order at the hostess booth because the waitresses kept ignoring us even after we told them we were in a rush. For the bill, I had to go pay directly at the till. I wanted to take the service charge out but the hostess had already put the amount in without asking me whether I wanted to contribute that amount. There were 2 of us, we had a green salad and a burger. Both were below average. The salad had no taste and the burger was fatty and also without any taste. The fries were frozen. Don't go. Really. Not worth your time or the effort. This place deserves 2 stars at best.

Einat N.

Yelp
This is a very very good restaurant! Great food great sevice great atsmosphereIf you are a true good food lover do not hesitate and come here to dine

Nicholas L.

Yelp
Terrible!!!! I am so angry about the whole experience at NAC that i created a Yelp account just to warn others. Their service was terrible. Our waitress was so rude to my girlfriend, and the food was bland and tasteless. No amount of fancy decor and photos of other peoples food on their website could distract from possibly the worst food i've ever eaten in London. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Rob G.

Yelp
Honestly one of the best place in London to share drinks, lunch, diner. The Chef is amazing ! I recommend the veal escalope, chicken, cauliflower and the mac and cheese with truffle. For the cocktail lovers the bar downstair will discover you new amazing flavor ( try the 55).

Joe R.

Yelp
Awesome from start to finish. Feta, cauliflower to start, Cajun chicken, mac and cheese, and fries and the cookies and ice cream for dessert. Great cocktails as well. Recommend this restaurant to everyone

lulu s.

Yelp
We first walked by this restaurant on our way to another nearby restaurant, and decided to try it the next night. We are so glad we did. As Americans, we noticed that the service we received in many London spots was not the best- not the case at NAC. The staff was attentive without being annoying. The food was lovely and well priced for this neighborhood. It ended up being our favorite food of our week in London. The small plate appetizers are suitable for sharing, and the large plates made fantastic individual entrees but could also be shared.

MIkael C.

Yelp
Surfing on the fashion of gastro pub , Nac is a low key alternative with a great location. The food is perfectly English but goes a little on top with a sensible French touch. A good surprise cause I am usually not a fan of gastro pub. Where NAC really stand out, is with the atmosphere. NAC is a great place to see and more important to be seen. Try to avoid the back room if your young and not famous, coming with models helps. Finally downstairs bar stand up to the expectation, a nice crowd with great music.

Kasia C.

Yelp
Went to NAC on Saturday evening. First advice - book it in advance. My boyfriend and I were lucky as 'walk ins' but it was all due to the fact it was the last Bank Holiday of this year and so the city is rather empty. Still, after we were sat down, we watched plenty of people being turned away as the reservations were full. NAC has a smart casual décor with a fantastically chilled and intimate bar downstairs. Seems this is the place where a lot of young people go to eat before the night out on weekends. NAC is opened during the day as well and you will always see people there having a coffee and snacking. The service is very good and friendly. Food is exceptional for not being fine dining place. We shared Mac n Cheese but truth be told, I would gladly put my face in it all by myself and lick the bowl till its nice and clean. And my lovely boyfriend eagerly watched my reaction to trying the dish, so he saw how much I appreciated my taste buds being tickled so nicely. Deep fried tiger prawns were also very yummy. Burger is delicious but it lacks sauce inside it so best to ask if they can bring you something extra from the kitchen. Desserts are excellent yet not cheap. 8 quid a pop plus service charge. It didn't matter with us as we had 2. Pavlova which was the winner. And churros with a funky popping candy sprinkles on the ice cream. Chocolate sauce was a bit thin, and would be nicer if it would be richer and thicker. Not a cheap meal but average for London prices. However the food was so good that NAC can expect me to come back on monthly basis.
