"Nada’s traditional queso is a four-cheese blend — but can be kicked up a notch with spicy “kreeper” habanero salsa, chorizo, and spicy escabeche. Bonus points for being the only “queso presentation” in Nashville — the server pours the melted smoky gouda atop the habanero salsa table-side." - Delia Jo Ramsey

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Nashville 😍 The ambience was too good and the server was very welcoming. They have a section of closed group , must see the video. My friends and I visited this place for lunch. We ordered cauliflower tacos, guacamole, salsa trio and Baja tacos. The quality and quantity of food was too good. 🤗 For drinks we had blue berry lemonada, pineapple mojito and chile mango. All the drinks had a good amount of alcohol. 🍸 Overall, we had a great experience and I would highly recommend this place for all food lovers. Just a suggestion: we had fried cauliflower tacos somewhere else and it was hit dish. 🤤

Google
One of the more expensive places, but the food was absolutely delicious and the server was sooo kind. I wish I noted her name because she was the sweetest. The drinks were so creative and I got to try something new. Will definitely be back soon!

Food was delicious and the service was great too. Appetizers were small, but really tasty. We had the pastor, cauliflower and fish tacos as our mains. All were the perfect street taco size. Grilled corn and mac and cheese sides were yummy too. They even made mocktails for those who couldn’t drink. Dessert was the only item that was slightly confusing. I ordered tres leches but it tasted just like strawberry short cake. Still good though.

Nada is the gem of 21st Avenue. Fun atmosphere, really good service and delicious food. I love the street tacos; especially the cauliflower one. A trio of salsa, all fresh and unique in flavor alongside plantain chips makes for a great appetizer! We also really liked the street corn and enchiladas!

Finally got the try Nada after driving by it on my way to school. Food was beautiful but VERY mediocre. Small portions for tapa style which is always fun but a little on the pricier side so make sure to go with friends. Drinks were AMAZING. Probably the best spicy margarita I’ve ever had… and the drinks were surprisingly VERY affordable for Nashville. $10 & $12 for top quality margaritas ? I’ll take it. Don’t think I’d come back for dinner but I’ll be back for drinks and dips for sure!

Loved the vibe of nada! Seated in a very cozy corner and enjoyed our selves. The drinks we’re amazing! The chips and salsa really good! The fajita el jefe a must try as well! The chicken tacos are everything! Get the corn on the side a the rice and beans. Thank me later! Will always return to nada.

Excellent spot for authentic texamexicana cuisine off music row. Service is going to be good, likely perhaps slow but good. The tequila selection is vast, and the mezcal is solid. Prices are fair. The food tastes so fresh! I got the quac, and I really am a sucker for presenting guacamole in a stone dish or mini stone pot. It almost feels like you're in Mexico or watching abuela maken lunch while you drift in and out of siesta. The margaritas are very good but not quite bartaco or even tacomamcita. The ambiance was social hipster chic... but the place was fairly empty when I arrived. I haven't tried their beans yet, so take this one with a grain of salt. However, I will be back soon to try the black beans! All in all, I have to recommend this place, especially students in the area or couch surfers on vacation. This little corner of nashville is worth the trip.

Google
Patio was really nice once the sun went behind the trees a little bit. Drinks were delicious, but could've used a little more kick. I had the Chile- Mango margarita, and it had great flavor with just the right amount of spice. As for food, the guacamole and queso were both very good - different, but good. I loved the Pork Al Pastor tacos, and really liked the Baja Fish tacos as well. Overall, very pleased with the experience.

Great food, even better cocktails. Mexico City Pastor TacosPlantain Chip Tortilla Chip

Yelp
I'll admit I was highly skeptical after reading many of the mixed reviews, but left with a good impression overall. We had a reservation for 3 at 6:15pm on a Saturday night & were greeted warmly & seated promptly. Paid parking is available in the connected garage or you can find street parking for slightly cheaper - $9 garage vs $5.93 street for about 2-3 hours. Our waiter was friendly, helpful, & attentive throughout the whole night. I believe the manager stopped in halfway through our meal to make sure everything was going well. Food was good & fresh, but definitely a little overpriced. Not sure I would pay $24 for chicken enchiladas in a Michelin star restaurant let alone upscale Tex Mex, but no complaints at all on the food! Overall, this was a comfortable upscale Tex Mex dining experience with good food, service, ambiance, but they definitely push the limit on their prices. Would recommend. Follow the foodiegram @jason.chews!

Yelp
Dropped by Nada for a little girls night. This restaurant is basically located on Vanderbilt's campus. Parking can be a bit tricky but I was able to snag some street parking since it was late on a Sunday night. The vibe was hip and the server was so kind! Chips and Salsa- I loved that it came with three different types of salsa all with different flavor profiles. I wasn't a huge fan of the chips, which were deep fried tortillas. Baja Fish Tacos- These were very flavorful and the lime cabbage slaw really pulled the dish together. Overall, a solid first experience at Nada!

Yelp
My husband and I came to Nada for dinner and had a great time. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. We could immediately see once we walked in that the restaurant was very trendy and the ambiance was lively and fun. For drinks we shared the Sangria Roja which was alright, but honestly not my favorite. The food was the real highlight for me. I got the Caramelized Cauliflower tacos (garlic-whipped goat cheese, scallion, fresno pepper, almond in a corn tortilla) and my husband got the Baja Fish tacos (tempura-battered mahi, cabbage, chipotle crema, pico de gallo). I loved my cauliflower tacos and still think about them to this day. My husband really enjoyed his fish tacos as well. Portions were a little small (3 tacos) for the price ($15 and $17) but it was tasty and we had a great time here. I would recommend making a reservation if you're coming at a popular time!

Veronica C.

Yelp
I came here for part of my sister's bachelorette party. We came during brunch time on Sunday. It wasn't crowded at all. The place is nicely decorated and our server was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our time. Food was good.

Sarah K.

Yelp
I pleasantly enjoyed coming here for a margarita and some guacamole. However, my fiancé did not enjoy the guacamole coming with plantain chips! Very upscale and you pay for it. We were able to park around the corner on the street for free but did have to walk about 2 blocks!

Courtney D.

Yelp
Love Nada, great environment and service every visits. I always enjoy the variety of salsa and queso which is must when ordering along with the jalapeño cornbread. Gear tacos and drinks. Highly recommend!

Amelia R.

Yelp
Nada is always a must visit when we are in town. The interior of the building is gorgeous and has a lot of variation of seating from patio, booth, window. Staff is always friendly. They can get busy so I would recommend a reservation on peak nights and afternoon brunch. We can not stop here without getting the Brussel sprouts. They are extremely crispy and some of the best I've had. The queso is also a must. This is a great place to get a lot of small plates and share. They are a little bit on the more expensive side but since we are visiting from out of town it always feels worth it.

Nicolette T.

Yelp
Big fan of Nada! Located in the gulch area, you'll have to find parking. They have a paid garage attached to the building, and I believe they will validate inside (I would call ahead to confirm). The interior is beautifully decorated. With bright & funky colors, it sets a very fun atmosphere. It's a very large location with plenty of seating, but I would make a reservation to avoid a wait. The menu is full of great options. Very light and flavorful. I am a fan of the white sangria, and the Al pastor tacos too!

Emma H.

Yelp
I'm not sure how to rate Nada, as the food isn't as good as the interior and pricing suggests it should be - it's not fancy enough to be "posh", but the food isn't as good as a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant either. I'd pick somewhere else if I was looking for awesome food and service. We waited too long for food to arrive, given how not busy they were on a weekend for early brunch.

Joseph T.

Yelp
This place is officially on my regular visits list! I've come here on two separate occasions and the food and service has blown me away each time. The braised chicken enchiladas are tasty and have a burst of flavor. They always come hot on a cast iron skillet so watch your hands! I've also tried the tacos and the crème brûlée French toast for brunch and those are delicious as well. The servers are already so nice and attentive and help to tie in the whole experience. The music brings this place to life along with the wall of different alcohols stretching to the high ceilings. If you're in town and are looking for a nice drink and delicious food, add this place to you list!

Amy P.

Yelp
Honestly, I was not a fan and left pretty disappointed. While the decor is lovely and the staff were friendly, the food and drinks were lackluster. The sangria was not great - it was too sour. You have to pay for salsa and they give you the smallest amount and it was super watery. The chips were really good though! The food itself - the pork tacos were actually pretty tasty! The churro waffles were not. They were just like normal waffles, with no added sugar or anything special. I wouldn't bother getting those.

Teresa F.

Yelp
An enthusiastic recommendation for this stylish, fun, delicious spot. Upscale Mexican in both ingredients and style. But really, really good in all the ways that count! Drinks on point. The Guacamole, the Nadarita, the Chicken tacos (on corn tortillas made by angels), and desserts were huge high points! Cute patio. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. And our service was top top tier. We were celebrating and they treated us like royalty!

Rebecca H.

Yelp
I had high hopes. But sadly, I will not be returning. Drinks-I will always be bummed when you don't offer an American light beer. My chili mango margarita was sent back. The Kale Caesar was actually mixed greens. The chicken tortilla scared me as to what type of chicken I was eating. The guacamole and my company I was with were the highlights.

Priscilla L.

Yelp
Fajitas "el jefe" 10/10! The drinks were made correctly 10/10 & it completely changed my experience from the first time! I would definitely come back... the Baja fish tacos were also something to take note of 10/10! Guac 10/10 ok that's all...

Andrea R.

Yelp
On my visit to Nashville I tried Nada. I wasn't overly impressed. Food was just ok the the queso was not creamy. It was almost like the consistency of cashew queso. The fish tacos were over cooked so the inside of the breading had no fish meat in them. I did love my cocktail, and I did love the decor of the restaurant.

Erfan Z.

Yelp
I stopped by for lunch. I got their Taco Carbon with a side of potatoes. - I enjoyed the taco on flour tortillas. The chicken was juicy and delicious. - Potatoes were deliciously made. It had a juicy marinated flavor that bursts in your mouth. - The bartender was friendly and service professional. The place is good for semi-quiet ambiance and feel of enjoying conversation and relaxing.

Diane J.

Yelp
Truly not the best restaurant I've been to. Granted, I wasn't expecting the most authentic Mexican dining experience, but I was still disappointed. I think the main issue was paying $15 for three cauliflower tacos and having the cauliflower be under-seasoned and undercooked. Our table also got chicken and fish tacos, which were all universally disappointing.

Alexander D.

Yelp
This place has great ambience and atmosphere. Sometimes, the portions can be a bit small but they food is great. Great spot to take a group, and good drink selections Recommendations: Brussel sprouts and potatoes for appetizers or sides.

Josh B.

Yelp
Although the staff was great and helpful the food was anything but great. All food is pre-prepared. Learned from the waiter all the street corn is prepared in the beginning of the week. Not so great if you are eating it on Sat. I generally like to eat same day food when I go out to eat!! The same goes for the house margarita- not fresh but prepared with a pre-mix- I fond this out when they served it as a skinny margarita and asked the bartender about it. Now it is two days latter- still have not eaten since- as my stomach is still messed up from the food we had that night. All in- just don't bother, nada - nada again .

Vince H.

Yelp
Met some friends that popped into town at Nada. The restaurant looks great, definitely visually pleasing. Service was great and the food was a 50/50. Chips and Salsa: good portions, I felt it all lacked salt. Queso: I can be wrong but it tasted like smoke Gouda. Not really what I expected from a Mexican Queso dip. I also felt like it needed salt. Jalapeño Cheddar Cornbread: Delicious! Get this!! Chicken Tacos & Al Pastor Tacos: These were good and full of flavor. I was happy with them! Chicken Plate w/ Fries: We got the whole chicken. It was delicious. The skin was perfectly crisp and the chicken was still juicy. The fries were seriously piled on. I definitely feel like I'll be back again!

Aushiana R.

Yelp
Overall a decent Mexican place, but Nashville has lots of great Mexican spots. The service was fast, our waitress was informative, and the vibe of the restaurant was upscale Mexican. The parking situation was very tough, and the ramp close by was $8 for an hour. Not a fan of that. The chips were a mix of tortilla with plantain chips - I like plantain chips, but the tortilla were way better and I wish they wouldn't have included the plantain. The pork tacos & street corn were delicious! Sooo much cotija on the corn and it was truly so good. Also ordered white sangria which wasn't overly fruity - liked it enough to order a second!

Jade P.

Yelp
Great modern Mexican spot in Nashville! The drinks are pretty and tasty - I got the Sanguina Spritz, their take on an Aperol Spritz - very delicious and refreshing. I got the Carne Asada tacos, which was on the specials menu. The meat was beautifully seasoned with just the right kick of heat. And the simplicity of the toppings helped the meat to shine. Really enjoyed the relaxed vibe of this space. Can't wait to come back when I'm in Nashville!

Yelp
I get weak in the knees for homemade horchata! Somebody tell the Graduate Hotel to send everyone over. My friend actually found this spot and it was the best last meal. I believe our waitress was Hannah and she deserves a metal, we were sweaty and hungry. Everything was calling my name but first guac. I love a fresh guac to munch on while I peruse the menu. Our waitress even suggested some bold salsa after ancho we went habanero aka kreeper. Mama mia! You've been warned, spice-o-rama! She also did us a huge favor and got us some horchata cold brew and with a little cinnamon sprinkle on top. Put a ring on it! Some of these dishes didn't strike me all that Latin but still blew my socks off. The beets in Greek yoghurt with pepitas and pickled shallot were a dish I would not tire of. The cornbread was easily one of the best I've had. I mean it must be butter with a sprinkling of corn meal mixed with pieces of corn and poured into a buttery cast iron skillet. Would order many of these. And bless that they had some fajita style veggie tacos! Hallelujah! I loved the warm tortillas! My friend tried to steal one but I snapped at her. That sweet potato, black beans, rice and peanuts with salsa and a squeeze of lime was just what the Dr. ordered. The restaurant itself was breath taking but I was too busy enjoying my food that I didn't get any pics. My friends loved their meat dishes too. The lovely waitress also helped us separate the bill like I've never seen before!! She split the chips and guac four ways and the beets and cornbread two ways. No one felt cheated and we all made sure to tip handsomely! Thank you so much for making our last meal so pleasurable!

Tobi O.

Yelp
Y'all. That queso was so good - we had to ask our server what the four kinds of cheese in it were. Bless her for hunting down the answer for us :) This restaurant is quite large, so there's plenty of seating front to back! There is a MASSIVE bar to the right when you walk in. You can definitely tell the restauranteurs put lots of work into the decor and ambience of the place. There were cool things to look at everywhere. We were seated pretty quickly towards the back - we asked to be far from the door because of the cold drafts from outside. Every single thing we ordered was SO good. The only thing I didn't taste was the beets, but my friend really enjoyed those! There was a lively group dining next to us, so I'd definitely recommend Nada for group dining!

Journey M.

Yelp
fanfuckintastic chips, great ambience, delicious food. couldn't ask for more. the chips are freshly made, perfectly salted, and I could live off of them for the rest of my life. We got the loaded queso, salsa trio, chicken tacos, Baja tacos, and a couple drinks.

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Amazing food, awesome service, fresh ingredients, surprisingly affordable! Would Definitely come back.

Delilah W.

Yelp
The food was delicious. We had pork tacos and the chicken enchiladas, very filling. Our server, Spencer, was absolutely delightful! Would go definitely come back.

Carly G.

Yelp
I've been to nada in Cincinnati, so I had to try the Nashville location! We went late afternoon on a Saturday, so there wasn't too much of a crowd. Their queso was great with homemade chips. We ordered the chicken carbone and Baja fish tacos with pineapple mojitos. 3 tacos was the perfect amount of food and the pineapple mojito might be my new favorite summer drink! Not sure if I would order the queso again, but excited to try the salsa trio next time!

Victoria W.

Yelp
I went here with a party of 12. The food was excellent. The service was terrible. Took an hour to get our drinks and chips. A few people had to leave early and it took 30 minutes to get their bill paid. We made a reservation so they knew a large party was coming. It was very apparent that they were using our table to train a new waiter.

Sandee C.

Yelp
The food was fresh and amazing! I have a few food allergies and they went above and beyond to make my food delish and safe for me to eat! Highly recommend! Love the big windows! A fun place to meet some friends!

Emily B.

Yelp
Food was good - service was terrible. The restaurant is empty and can't keep up. Drinks were slooow they could have made so much more off us

David B.

Yelp
Had the chips and queso which included plantain chips. The queso had a wonderfully smoky flavor. The ceviche which was made with mahi mahi was good. The fish taco, also with mahi mahi, was spectacular. The service was wonderful. The interior provides a pleasant place in which to dine. We will return.

Sally H.

Yelp
Had a brilliant lunch with friends at Nada while visiting Nashville. Many tapas options, to fit many appetite levels. We enjoyed fresh guacamole with chips, followed by an amazing lamb barbacoa with mole. Truly delicious. We concluded with freshly made chocolate and churros... 4 big rings of hot dessert goodness. Will return!

Mae D.

Yelp
Low key the best Brussels sprouts !! I'm not really sure why it took me forever to try Nada considering I work 1 minute away but this was delicious spot! Will definitely be back!

Ornella S.

Yelp
I had a great time dining at Nada's last night. Here's the breakdown of my review. Let's dive in, shall we? Food: For appetizers, I had the chips and salsa. This was mix of tortilla and plantain chips. And it came with three different salsa sauces. I don't usually glutton on appetizers, but I made an exception for this dish. It was that good. For entrée, I ordered the pork Barbacoa tacos. It was real good, Mexican style. The lamb dish was tasty as well. It was served with three different sauces - a chocolate mousse, a cabbage dish, and a spinach ranch-like sauce. For the price of this meal, I was expecting a bigger portion of the lamb or a more substantial side (rice, potatoes, etc). A bit disappointed there. For dessert, The pot de creme was exquisite! Drinks: I had a chili & mango margarita. It was well mixed. Props to the bartender for that one! Environment: upscaled yet chill atmosphere. Service: Our server was very attentive, friendly and polite. Five stars for customer service. Overall, this is a good spot that offers great drinks, but a bit pricey for the small portions. I would recommend this place.

Chuck F.

Yelp
Foods pretty good Service slow and non observant Wanted second round of drinks but couldn't get anyone's attention Didn't deliver some of the items ordered Margarita similar to fast food chain - well crafted

Brittany H.

Yelp
A friend and I stopped in for dinner around 6pm on a Thursday. Although it's close to the university it was pleasantly quiet. First off the decor and atmosphere for the restaurant is hip, and trendy. Even the small patio area at the entrance is certainly a vibe. Drinks - I'm not a huge sangria fan, just because I'm still chasing my sangria from Spain however, the sangrias here are amazing. I ordered 2. The plates are small but filling, if you're vegan there are options here that are filling and satisfying.

Sierra C.

Yelp
Best churros I've EVER HAD. Handmade so delicious. I don't like sweets, but I love these churros. The enchiladas were incredible as well definitely a repeat.

Anna J.

Yelp
I love nada! Amazing margaritas and yummy food. I always bring my out of town friends here.

Emilee J.

Yelp
Love me some street tacos & corn and nada (contrary to its name) knows how to make 'em right. Splendid service, dishes, and seating. Don't look to the Yelp photos far back as the menu has changed drastically. The items consist of a small yet well-pieced selection. Despite higher than average prices, we really enjoyed this place and the ambiance inside.

Abby M.

Yelp
We were in Nashville after the holidays and found most of the restaurants were closed. We were staying at the Kimpton so Nada was is a clear choice. It is so easy to pop it across the street. The food was absolutely delicious. Don't make the mistake of expecting traditional Mexican here. It's a higher end Latin-inspired kitchen. I love the decor and vibe. Would be great for a date night or coming with friends to drink one of their many tequilas on hand.

Natalie M.

Yelp
Nada was not it. To sum it up nada is bland and over priced. We Order so many small dishes to try a lot of things and the waitress even told us that we picked their best dishes. But none of the dishes we ordered wowed me at all. Most of the dishes were bland especially the sweet Potato small dish and the fish tacos. Some dishes like the jalapeño corn bread and the enchiladas just didn't taste good. The corn bread was fine but the butter they provided was caked with salt making the bread taste like a salt rock. And the enchilada was try and relied solely on pickled onions for flavor. If you do come here for whatever reason, get The Brussels sprouts. They were actually pretty good, probably the best dish we had. The next best was the elote (corn) it was good but again nothing amazing and way to over priced. The waitress said the best thing to do was get a bunch of small plates, but honestly we tried 80% of their options and none were that impressive so maybe try the big plates or a special if they have one.

Natalie L.

Yelp
This place is appropriately named, because they give you nada. I understand it's a tapas restaurants but their portions were very small. Our server had recommended that we get 2-3 tapas each and that should be enough. We got the guacamole as the appetizer and it had no flavour whatsoever. The radish and cucumber in the guacamole had more flavour than the entire dish. The best part of it was the plantain chips. Their tacos were very tasty and probably the best thing on their menu. We left feeling hungry and stopped for more food on the way home.

Sarah C.

Yelp
The service was the worst I've experienced at a restaurant that I can recall. We waited over an hour for our food and ended up cancelling it due to how long it took. We also had to track the waiter down every time we wanted something and bring checks. It's a shame because the food is good quality and the ambiance is great, but the service and length of wait time for drinks and food is horrible. The worst part is that the restaurant wasn't busy.

Kiley K.

Yelp
First of all, love the atmosphere of this place--you wouldn't expect it to be a chain! Their red sangria was amazing but their signature nadarita was super tart. The guac was decent but could have used more lime and cilantro but that might just be my personal preference. I do like that they served it with tortilla chips and plantain chips though. Their pastor tacos were sooo good and loved that they had many other taco options too, wish I could have mixed and matched! The street corn was also pretty good too. Service was great and really enjoyed our time here!

Christa R.

Yelp
If we are getting technical, 3.75 but rounding up because I think this place has a lot of potential and the bartender was great. Started the night off a little shaken when it took the hostesses a good 4 minutes to tell us there were no open tables when only 3 tables had seated guests. But we didn't let that stop us and just grabbed seats at the bar. Chile-mango margarita and chips + ancho salsa to start. Next came the Mexican ceviche, which was fresh, delicate and served with plantain chips. The fish tacos were good. Could use a second tortilla under each because they fall apart easily with the large piece of fish but the sauce really pulled it all together. The enchilada was a little small but beautiful presentation and big, well balanced flavors.

Quin B.

Yelp
Nada was a nice modern Mexican restaurant. There is only street meter parking around the area and a self pay parking lot close by from what I observed. We ordered tacos after looking through the menu. Service was normal and the establishment was clean on the inside. I has lamb barbacoa that came with three soft taco shells, an avocado tomatillo sauce, mole, and picked habaneros. The delicious lamb was tender and wonderfully flavored. The avocado sauce that came with it was very good, but the mole and habanero also accompanied the flavor profile of the lamb. After eating I felt that the tacos at $15 were a bit pricey for the small portion size. Other than that I was content, but definitely not full.

Katherine M.

Yelp
Giving it a 2 cause bartender was sweet but the margarita was horrible. Couldn't finish and if anyone knows me I finish my margarita. Going in hungry the salad tasted like anchovies and spinach, nothing special. Chips were so oily. Salsa was only thing decent. Y'all need to step it up. I remember coming here years ago and it was good. Don't recommend now.
