Nafsi South Shore Beach

Excellent service and atmosphere. Jason hooked us up with the peace martini and restaurant week suggestions. The coconut cauliflower steak was delicious and I have NEVER had a more perfect salmon cooked with lightly crusted skin. Cozy lighting and modern deco made me want to stay for hours. Staff took great care of our needs. Can’t wait to come back.

We were super excited to try this new neighborhood spot and definitely not disappointed with the results. I had the Herb and Curry Roasted Cauliflower Steak with white bean and feta puree, which had a nice kick to it, while also being super creamy. My spouse had the Catfish and Grits with bouillabaisse béchamel. The girts were thick and creamy and the catfish was fried nicely but the sauce really pulled the whole thing together. We also shared a side of mac and cheese, which was also super delicious. For drinks I had the Chicago Fire, which was basically a spicy pineapple margarita. My spouse had a Peaches and Herb Sidecar, which had cognac, peach schnapps, lemon and rosemary. They were both really well-balanced and tasty. We're very excited to share the spot with friends and family that visit.

Went to Nafsi for happy hour on a Friday evening and had a great time! Our server Sai was great, she had recommendations and was attentive. We ordered the wings, sliders and fries. Everything was fresh and delicious, the wing sauce should be bottled and sold! Overall, a great experience and it was great to have this quality of service and food right in South Shore, a neighborhood I grew up in and have loved my entire life.

The food is a 10 out 10. Period. 💯 Service is a 8. Our server was pleasant and professional. She could only bring out the food as fast as it was prepared. 🤷🏿‍♀️ Speed is a 6. I’m going to give them a little time to get their mojo together. And when they do, you’re not gonna be able to get a seat in the joint. The food is exceptional 🙌🏾. The ambience is beautiful and we had a wonderful dining experience on the South Side. Go support and you will not be disappointed 💪🏾. Pack your patience…put a peppermint in your purse and enjoy Nafsi. 🥰. The creamiest grits ever and those who had the biscuits 👏🏾 said they were excellent!

This was my first time here. I ordered the chicken and waffles which were really good especially the waffles had lavender poppy seed which gave that extra flavor I enjoyed. The biscuits were really good as well. The ambiance was nice especially on the patio and music was good. Overall good vibes

I had dinner with a friend at Nafsi on a Saturday evening. Staff was fantastic and knowledgeable. I loved the atmosphere and decor. We shared the potato croquettes and tried two of their non-alcoholic drinks. I had the cauliflower steak and honey carrots. Everything was delicious.

A friend suggested we visit this establishment, after seeing a video on social media. So last Sunday we finally stopped through. I chose to dine on the patio which was cool. For appetizers my friend ordered the pita bread and hummus. She enjoyed it, but didn’t care for the all the veggies on top of the hummus. My choice was the Caesar salad, it was decent. Could have went without the garlic bread. We both ordered the pan seared Atlantic Salmon w/broccolini and wild rice for the entrees. Salmon was seasoned well, and cooked well done like we liked. Our choice for dessert was Bread Pudding to go. It was good my first time ever eating it.

Beautiful restaurant but service was horrendous. I’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened but Unfortunately this restaurant is not prepared for restaurant week at all. I came here to kick off my black history month and food tour with my mother . The manager tried to make us sit for dine in inside of the waiting area as if we didn’t deserve to sit in the main area with everyone else . Our waiter Jason was very annoyed from the jump . Our drinks took 30 minutes then our appetizers came out with the entree 30 minutes after . we couldn’t even enjoy the appetizers that much since it came out with the food . The calamari, carrots , salmon and pan seared chicken was delicious ! We ordered another round of drinks to drink with the desserts we ordered. Drinks never came and the desserts took a whole hour after we was done with our food to come out and it was burnt and disgusting! The waiter jason let us know that he was annoyed by us . ( we still tipped him $23 even though he should’ve got $5) . Unfortunately I won’t be back .
