We tried this restaurant for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday this month. Nafsi did not disappoint. Everything was tasty and we received excellent service. I didn't think I would appreciate grits with salmon, but it was really good, as was the catfish. The wilted greens were amazing, as were our cocktails. We finished with chocolate cake and banana pudding (more like bread pudding). We will definitely be regular patrons at Nafsi!

We arrived and had reservations. We were seated immediately. Dominique was our server and she was Fantastic! We had catfish and grits, brussel sprouts, arancinis, cabbage, creamed corn, calamari, mardi wings, hush puppies, oxtails empanadas, & lamb chops. My favs were the brussel sprouts, catfish and grits, and cabbage. My least fav was the creamed corn. Everything was tasty. The atmosphere was bright and fun. The establishment was very organized and clean.

Food was delicious and our server was absolutely wonderful. Cute and fun decor. A warning: you should verify the prices on the website menu are accurate. The menu was 2 months out of date (online!) and had to dispute the price with the manager. The knline menu is tge only one available. Beware the bait and switch.

Went to Nafsi for happy hour on a Friday evening and had a great time! Our server Sai was great, she had recommendations and was attentive. We ordered the wings, sliders and fries. Everything was fresh and delicious, the wing sauce should be bottled and sold! Overall, a great experience and it was great to have this quality of service and food right in South Shore, a neighborhood I grew up in and have loved my entire life.

Beautiful restaurant but service was horrendous. I’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened but Unfortunately this restaurant is not prepared for restaurant week at all. I came here to kick off my black history month and food tour with my mother . The manager tried to make us sit for dine in inside of the waiting area as if we didn’t deserve to sit in the main area with everyone else . Our waiter Jason was very annoyed from the jump . Our drinks took 30 minutes then our appetizers came out with the entree 30 minutes after . we couldn’t even enjoy the appetizers that much since it came out with the food . The calamari, carrots , salmon and pan seared chicken was delicious ! We ordered another round of drinks to drink with the desserts we ordered. Drinks never came and the desserts took a whole hour after we was done with our food to come out and it was burnt and disgusting! The waiter jason let us know that he was annoyed by us . ( we still tipped him $23 even though he should’ve got $5) . Unfortunately I won’t be back .

The food is a 10 out 10. Period. 💯 Service is a 8. Our server was pleasant and professional. She could only bring out the food as fast as it was prepared. 🤷🏿‍♀️ Speed is a 6. I’m going to give them a little time to get their mojo together. And when they do, you’re not gonna be able to get a seat in the joint. The food is exceptional 🙌🏾. The ambience is beautiful and we had a wonderful dining experience on the South Side. Go support and you will not be disappointed 💪🏾. Pack your patience…put a peppermint in your purse and enjoy Nafsi. 🥰. Pineapple mimosa 🍾 Bourbon Maple Glazed Beef bacon 🥓 (2 orders please) 🙏🏾 Honey Lavender & Poppyseed Waffle & deboned chicken 🍯 Salmon croquette eggs Benedict Grill Rosemary Lamb chops Black Tiger grilled shrimp 🍤 and grits Every thing was expertly prepared and delicious!! 🤤 Like for real. The creamiest grits ever and those who had the biscuits 👏🏾 said they were excellent!

Celebrating our Wedding anniversary at Nafsi was absolutely amazing! The service was exceptional. The food was scrumptious. The atmosphere was welcoming. We were treated like family. When they found out we were there celebrating our anniversary, not only did they say Happy Anniversary, but then we were given an amazing slice chocolate cake AND as our very attentive server put the cake on the table she said..."I hope you enjoy the song." They played It's Our Anniversary, by Tony Toni, Tone!!! It was so special. As if that wasn't enough, the Chef himself took the time to come meet us! Our entire experience was enjoyable! We will be back again and again. My heartfelt gratitude to Nafsi for making this special day even more special!
