NakedQ BBQ

I’ve been coming here for a while. It’s been very consistent. That’s hard to do with bbq. They are the best bbq in town. Definitely better than the overrated Lil Miss. I stick with the brisket, burnt ends, links and potato salad. But those are consistently moist with great flavor and fat that melts like butter. Highly recommend. Staff is super friendly and prices are extremely reasonable!

NakedQ catered for my wife’s birthday and it was truly excellent and I highly recommend. From first communication the process was easy. NakedQ were quick to get back to me. The food was absolutely amazing. The sliced brisket and broccoli really being the show stoppers, but honestly everything we ordered was exceptional. They went out of their way to ensure the catering was set up well, and made sure everything was provided for all of our guests. We will definitely be using and visiting NakedQ again, I highly recommend you do the same !

The place is very clean inside. The staff could not have been more approachable or friendly. The meat was good, but I just wished we got a little more meat with the salad for the price we were charged. We really wanted the banana pudding to be amazing, but it was made with instant pudding, so it was not made with love. But, some people like that taste. It was just not for anyone at our table.

The staff greeted us right when we arrived. We had our entire baseball team there. We all agreed it was amazing. The ribs and brisket are a must. Great cornbread and mac and cheese. They have vinegar bbq and vinegar mustard as well as homemade spicy and regular BBQ. I’ve had great BBQ in Nashville and Texas and this is up there with them.

Excited to say I was extremely happy with the service! The employee talked with me and explained things which should be bare minimum service in food. I take enjoyed my choice for takeout and I'll come again!

Great food in a convenient location. I always judge a BBQ place by their brisket. The brisket here is moist with good smoke flavor. The edges are nicely seasoned. The sauce is also very good. Heating the sauce is a nice touch. Typical strip mall decor, but I don’t go to a BBQ joint for ambience.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - 2 Meat Platter with pulled chicken, sliced brisket, mac and cheese, and beans. Also ordered half a rack of ribs to try a bit of everything. The half a rack came with 7 ribs and was super juicy. The ribs didn't have much taste by itself but the sweet and spicy barbecue sauces were great to help add to the meat without being overwhelming. The pulled chicken was a bit dry so we were disappointed. The sliced brisket was very fatty along the bottom edge which was needed since the top edge was on the drier side as well. The mac and cheese could use more cheese as we tasted mostly the grated pepper. The beans were pretty good. The corn bread had actual corn in it and was delicious Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go Service: 5/5 - super friendly! While one worker was off to cut the ribs, the other directed us towards the cashier already to help us finish our transaction Value for price: 5/5 - delicious food with very quick service! Would skip the chicken in the future but the brisket and ribs were great

I have been here many times for take out--oh the ribs!!! Today I went with two neighbors and we had a delightful time. The owner and staff are wonderful and very accommodating. We ate in and the food was wonderful. my favorite is the place of rib and 2 sides--did I mention cornbread. All I know is I will be back and I think my two neighbors are now fans as well This is a welcome neighbor venue--simple and welcoming Oh did I mention those ribs????

Delicious slow-smoked pulled pork is always a great bet. Today's was as superb as always. Great food, using only the highest quality ingredients, friendly professional service- where even the pit boss always says hello, clean, and consistent. We've been regulars here for years. Never anything but complete satisfaction. Consistently seeing smiling kiddos enjoying their meals is simply bonus. It's a great place for families.

I have so much to say about NakedQ! My sister had them cater my baby shower- not only was the food amazing (everyone raved about it) this place simply could not be owned by nicer people! The delivery was seamless and everything was so organized. They even took the time to help us sort through what we were putting out because we had accidentally purchased the wrong sized hot plates. Everyone loved the food and we had plenty of leftovers to send people home with more! We couldn't have been happier with the experience or the bbq- every dish was delicious! We ordered chicken, brisket, pork, extra sauces, coleslaw, mac n cheese, potato salad, beans, and rolls! We'd get every single thing again! Thank you guys for an awesome experience, you really went above and beyond and our whole family is such a big fan!

Great BBQ spot! Tried the 2-meat platter with sliced brisket and ribs--ribs were juicy and tender, so bomb! Brisket was a bit tough but still tasty. If you like a spicy/tangy kick, the Carolina slaw is a must--one of the staff even offered us a sample first since it's a unique flavor. Loved it! They had two BBQ sauces (original and spicy); both were good but pretty similar-wish the spicy had more heat and the original more flavor. Super friendly staff all around. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Arizona!

Nice staff, great tasting food (especially the BBQ sauce) and clean and EXTREMELY reasonable prices. Choose to go here instead of little miss bbq simply because it was 16 dollars for all this food (vs $24). Definitely recommend for the price and to be honest I would pay even more if they decided to raise the prices. Will be back!

Solid Q. Great service! You your employees are outstanding kind and engaged. Your prices are crazy good. The in aside was super clean and bright. We had chopped brisket sandos with tater salad. My preference would have been to have a little more of the fat is flavor on mine. I generally like mine with just the rub. I ended up adding the tasty sauce to get the moisture to my liking. Maybe next time I'll see if I can have you "fatten up" my brisket next time. You bet there will be a next time.

Great BBQ spot! The meats and all of the sides are always delicious (you have to try the Carolina slaw if you like a kick!) and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Clean indoor area for eating too.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at NakedQ. The staff is super friendly and took the time to make sure our experience was excellent for our first visit. The food is awesome and we especially loved the pickles that they let us try. We will definitely be back for more BBQ in the near future!

I gave this place another try, Asked for fatty brisket. It was so dry should have went back to little miss bbq. What a waste of money.

Have been here a couple of times now. The turkey is fresh and moist and flavorful! Turkey is my go-to at any BBQ joint. The food was somewhat inconsistent between my visits. I've had amazing beans, but I've also had average beans. The day that my beans were average, my cornbread also didn't taste as sweet as normal. The other times it has been great! The line is quick and service is efficient. The prices are good for what you get. The one meat platter is a hefty portion of meat with two side and cornbread. It's a lot of food at a great price. The spicy bbq sauce is also very good. I haven't tried anything else on the menu YET, but I'll be back!

Possibly Phoenix's best all around BBQ (and that's saying something). Food is consistently exceptional, service is friendly and fast (no ridiculous lines), and prices are reasonable. Warmed sauce is a classic touch adding to the enjoyment. Cannot go wrong with the brisket or ribs, but everything is solid.

Had one slice of brisket left over from our Super Bowl Oder Decided to make brisket hash along with cholla toast grits oj and coffee. Superb

Naked Q is in a great place, very nice area! Working employees when you walk in they are ready to take your order! By the time I payed my brisket sandwich and Mack & Cheese were ready!! You have two choices of bbq sauce to choose from One was Sweet one was Spicy! My favorite was the Spicy! I would recommend this place if you're in the area!

10/10! Everything we tried was tender, flavorful, and delish. They even gave us extra food to try. Totally worth the money. Was skeptical at first because they weren't busy, but we even went back in to try the brisket sandwich right after we finished our platter.

Went to the Scottsdale location for the first time. Very tasty food and great value! We had the brisket and pork ribs. Meat was so tender and well seasoned with smoky flavor. Corn bread was just the perfect size. Over all very generous portion and we have left overs enough for a full meal. WIll definitely come back more often. Thanks for doing a great job on BBQ!

Aloha Hawaiians, These is some ono-licious bbq and potato salad out there. I tried two platters on day 1 and the 2 lbs of potato salad and banana pudding the next day. The pulled chicken platter was off the chain. It was so good I forgot to put the sauce on it. The pulled pork and brisket worked so well with the sauce. I know I should keep this place to myself it's so good. I didn't even let my friends know, I hid the take out trash. If I need a go to place, for some feel good food. I plan to come back many more times. Today is like day 3 I am ordering two meat platter pulled pork. Hawaiians, I know it's early but 4th of July & New Years most def superbowl gonna be popping at my house. Gonna do an old school kool-aid. "Oh, yeah" and maybe a Lil Jon, " snap my fingers to myself" I can eat it all by myself.

My coworker and I got all this food, plus three desserts for less than $60! It was amazing! The turkey was so moist and delicious! It paired super well with the mustard sauce. The brisket was super flavorful and was delicious with the sweet sauce. The cornbread wasn't just plain cornbread, it was almost like a corn casserole. The green beans had a bit of a kick to them in the mac & cheese was super creamy! We took our desserts to go, and we're too full to eat them! The owner came and checked in on us and was so helpful and kind! They were training a new staff, and everybody seemed to be so understanding, kind, and helpful. As soon as the sauce bottles were empty, somebody was refilling them and a staff even came to fill up our cups before they needed to close out the sweet tea. Everything from the smell, to the staff, to the cute little tables with the branded logo on them, made an amazing experience!

I've been looking for a good barbecue place here and went to the Scottsdale location Naked Q BBQ. Location is a little hidden but worth the trip. The pork was amazing, very tasty and most, not dry like most places, ok, I have to brag on the Mac n Cheese, who cooks Mac n Cheese this good for a fast food place? Amazing. The slaw was good along side the brisket. This food shouldn't be considered fast food because the quality is much more than that. Lastly, the customer service, as soon as we walked in they are greeting you asking what they can do for you this place is a definite 15 out of 10. We'll be back often.

The Brisket tasted like it had a lot of smoke flavoring in it was very dry. We had the coleslaw and BBQ beans as sides and both were very under whelming, the coleslaw had no flavor to it but if you add the coleslaw to the Brisket Sandwich and then top with the sweet &spicy BBQ sauce then there is flavor. Same with the beans add the bbq sauce to the beans and you do get some flavor.

2.9/5: Order for pick up a platter of pork ribs, Mac n cheese and beans with corn bread. Also ordered to try; chopped brisket sando and their house made potato salad. Mac n cheezers was pretty dry and very meh. Ribs had great flavor but on the dry chewy side. Now I did travel a mile to home keep in mind. Beans were flavorful. The brisket chopped sando had good flavor but needed some dire sauce. Speaking of the bbq sauce, I can see how in different parts of the country would like it, but it was way too molasses flavor for me. Pretty strong and sweet. The potato salad was pretty good. Specially making it in house and not some food hub warehouse buy. I'd personally prefer smaller potatoes and not as on the "money" al dente. Great friendly staff.

Why is it when I'm in the area, I am ALWAYS tempted to come to Naked Q and order a LB of brisket and hot links to take home. EVERY DANG TIME! LOL Every time i go it I ask the guy, so when are you opening an Arcadia location?? Part of me wishes it would happen and part of me is thankful it hasn't happened! Cause if I were to happen, my bank account would be hurting! Seriously the BEST brisket and hot links. Hands down. Only BBQ item that has sugar in the rub is the ribs - FYI. When the quality of meat is good, and the preparation is good, the meat can stand alone. And the brisket meat does!!!

Pretty darn tasty fast casual BBQ in a strip mall setting! Brisket was a bit inconsistent - juicy and tender on one platter yet dry and hard on the other, but the pulled pork and jalapeño hot links were uniformly good. Loved the char on the broccoli veg of the day, but thought both the BBQ beans and mac and cheese could use more flavor (I ended up adding hot sauce to both ;). Friendly service - both at the counter where staff patiently explained the menu options while I took forever to decide, and at the table where the manager checked up on us and made sure we had everything we needed!

Pro :Food was delicious ! Con: not hot, room temperature. Nice staff. Great service I told him after eating it all because I was starving, and he said he would have heated it up if I told him. But what if it was take out? The point is it wasn't up to standard heat.

Awesome., Great pulled pork, great beans! Terrible terrible service. It's almost like, they're being forced to work! Maybe somebody's having a bad day and they're spreading it to the other employees. Not One Smile, not one "Welcome!" Just stare at and nod, as if to say, "What do you want?" My smile and light heartedness, didn't seem to lighten the mood. Oh well, I was looking for barbecue when I found that place.

+1 for Mom and Pop owned franchise. Else everything was meh. The brisket was super salty. But not too smoky (I like their use of more subtle smoking wood) The beans was bland and watery The coleslaw was at best passable. The sauces were super sweet The corn bread is the thing I liked because it was not too sweet. This felt like the quality of Chili in terms of effort put into the cooking.

Scent of bbq fills the air. Oak and pecan wood are used to smoke the meats here. I ordered a half rack of ribs, a half pound of brisket and a peach pie Pork ribs were tender and had a bold smoky flavor. A little bit of the sweet sauce resulted in some delicious ribs. Brisket was very tender, had a delicious smoky flavor and a tasty peppery flavor from the dry rub. Peach pie had a crunchy crust with buttery goodness and sweet peach filling. Delicious. NakedQ had a friendly and efficient staff. One of my fav spots for bbq in Arizona.

I was planning a party for my husband in Scottsdale, and he wanted BBQ catered in. I live on the East Coast and honestly don't eat bbq, so I was stymied! I did some research and stumbled upon NakedQ BBQ, and I am delighted I did. The food, according to the bbq connoisseurs, was a homerun! Everyone absolutely loved it. I was quite shocked and pleased at how affordable dinner was (for 14 people) and how easy it was to place the order and pick it up. I live on the East Coast where everything is pretty much a pain in the butt, and you have to leave a 50% or more deposit. These guys were like, "it's all good. Pay us when you get here." Thank you so much for making his party such a delicious success!

the highest level of ingredients, food presentation is excellent, portion sizes are perfect, crew attitude is super! well kept dinning room, prices are affordable, absolutely worth the visit and drive every time.

Bomb, got brisket and pulled pork with slaw and beans. Brisket was a little dry but flavorful and pulled pork was great. Workers behind the counter were nice and the service was fast, the owner even walked around and checked in on a couple of tables. Shop is small but lots of seats.

Best BBQ in AZ. Found this place a couple years ago and they are excellent. Quality, service and cleanliness is always excellent.

This was a last minute decision and so glad we made it! Food was awesome, staff was great & overall had a really nice time eating here & plenty of spaces to eat. Can't wait to go back!

I was pretty disappointed in this place from the get-go. First, walking into the place, you don't feel like it's a BBQ joint. You're usually overwhelmed with food smells, but we didn't get that here. Next, the woman working followed my husband back to our vehicle so she could "look at his phone" when he was picking up an online takeout order. She then mentioned something about many thefts lately, even though he asked for our order by name. Odd. This might be standard practice here, but we've never had that experience before, and it felt a little icky. Just because we don't look like your typical Scottsdale residents doesn't mean we are thieves. Onto the food: if I could describe it in one word, it would be underwhelming. We wanted to try basically everything, so we ordered the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, both sauces, beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and mac n cheese. The sandwiches were dryyyyyyyy and a light smoked flavor. You needed a lot of sauce, but at that point, you couldn't taste the smoke at all. The beans were watery and light on flavor; I added some sauce, which turned out fantastic. The potato salad had inconsistent chunk sizing, so some of the potato was undercooked. There wasn't enough dressing, and it was a little bland. The coleslaw was another watery, bland experience. The mac n cheese had to be my least favorite part of the meal. They use cavatappi noodles, which didn't appear to grab the cheese sauce. So, the noodles were kinda dry. The roux at the bottom of the carton was just like flour water and not cheesy. Overall a bum experience and I wouldn't recommend the place.

We ended up here on the same day at the same time as a wannabe Tiktok "influencer." I watched the guy's content after and I was shocked at his low rating and attitude, like his ratings mean anything. My husband and I come here often because the food is always amazing, and the service is some of the best. The brisket, sausage, mac n cheese, and beans are some of our favorites, and we always finish up with banana pudding. Locals know how good this place is, and we will keep coming back!

I pick up dinner from here quite often and think that everything has that "authentic family recipe" taste. I always choose the pulled pork platter which has very tender pork. It's "naked" with their delicious sauce on the side, sweet or spicy. It's a very large portion of shredded pork, so I suggest getting 3 containers of sauce. You can get it on a bun, of course; I just like it without, because it's a lot to eat, especially with the sides and mini muffin included. My husband & son say that the beef brisket is the best in town! The hot links come in regular and hot. The hot are HOT; they get hotter as you're eating, and those little corn muffins come in pretty handy. Haha Their sides pass my "Awesome Sides" test. The slaw comes in creamy or Carolina. I order the creamy, which has mayonnaise vs. the sweet poppyseed dressing. Their potato salad is great and tastes freshly homemade. It's the mayo-kind, and the potatoes are cooked perfectly tender, neither mushy nor hard. The baked beans are interesting; they have a smokey, slightly hot/spicy sauce. The tiny little corn muffins are delicious. They have kernels of corn mixed in the batter and have a "southern home-cooked" taste. The macaroni & cheese is creamy and delicious; interestingly they add fresh cracked pepper, so you taste that as well. The prices are very reasonable! If you like BBQ, forget the smoker, and go for a quick pick-up or dine in.

Exceptional service, outstanding brisket, ribs, chicken and pulled pork. The Carolina coleslaw wasn't my favorite, but that's just me. Loved the beans and cornbread and those side pickles / onions were perfect to cut the richness of the beef.

Was shopping in the area and I saw this place out of the corner of my eye as I was driving by. Decided to give it a try since I love a good BBQ. The guy who took my order was super friendly and recommended the brisket when I asked. So I decided to go with the chopped brisket sandwich. So glad that I did! That brisket was cooked to perfection!

First time at Naked BBQ, enjoyed a weekday lunch with a friend. Ordered the two meat platter including chopped brisket, ribs, slaw, garlic green beans and a small corn bread. The brisket and ribs were very tasty. They call it Naked BBQ because you put on your own sauce. The sauces include spicy, sweet and a mustard, I only tried the spicy. Cole slaw is vinegar based. They bring your food over to your table. Service was very good. Prices are reasonable and food is very tasty. Put this one on your list.

This bbq food is always great! You order at the counter and they bring it to you. They have a variety of sides and meats to choose from and they also have mild and spicy bbq sauce. Definitely one of the best bbq places in Phoenix Metro area. I also love that most of the menu is gluten free and they are very accommodating.

Had food delivered, so not sure what the ambience is like, but the food is amazing. Definitely in my top 3 for bbq. I am a bbq snob, and I loved every bite, even the sides were amazing. Can't recommend this place enough. Also, really solid value for the price.

1. The food is amazing. You can't make a wrong a choice it's all great. 2. I appreciate several veggie options. All the sides were yummy 3. The environment is organized and clean 4. The staff was so nice and patient as we are the type that have lots of questions and very indecisive. They were also friendly with our kids.

Pretty mediocre bbq...Decent, but not great. Barely and smoke on their meat. Brisket was pretty dry and there was not much bark and it wasn't very tasty.

I was searching for some good brisket today. Proximity and reviews led me here to Naked Q. Despite my lofty expectations after reading good reviews I am leaving with those expectations having been exceeded. Great friendly service. Clean. Will be back before leaving town and will be a staple on return trips.
