"Let’s say you’re cruising down a bike lane when your stomach tells your brain that you either need to eat some food or lie on your back and do nothing for several hours. Hopefully you’re near Nam Nam, a tiny sandwich spot where you’ll find the best banh mi in East Williamsburg. Get one with grilled pork, have a few bites, then shove the rest in your back pocket and intermittently snack on it as you continue your journey." - Hannah Albertine, Nikko Duren, Bryan Kim

"Nam Nam is a very small sandwich shop in East Williamsburg with just a few tables and an appropriately tiny menu. They serve summer rolls, a few noodle dishes, several types of bahn mi, and that's it. But you don't really need anything else. Every time we come here, we just get a roast pork banh mi on some nice crispy bread, and we'll also add an iced Vietnamese coffee if we're in need of sugar and caffeine. Stop by for some quick, easy takeout, or grab a sandwich and hang out on the little front patio if its warm out." - Bryan Kim

This is a hole in the wall place that is absolutely delicious!!! Theres not much in the way of decor, seating is super limited...leta just say the location is "no frills cozy". BUT, its an absolute must to try. I had the pork sandwhich and it touched the corners of my foodie soul. Absolutely delicious! My BF had the pork bun and inhaled it. They do offer bubble tea, but I wasnt impressed. It was watered down and the bubbles were tough. But go! For the food! Mayne get it to go and park yourself and your sandwich on a bench to enjoy.

The tofu Bahn mi sandwich is just Tasty As F*** Already making plans to go back. Ate here three times now and im a fan. Can easily be missed, but once you find it, definitely a gem. I enjoy the vibe inside, a little grudge(in a very positive way) giving it that official new york stamp of approval. This is def a "take my money kinda place, "or "Feed me now, i need my Vietnamese fix" kinda place. I highly recommend it.

The bread on this Bhan Mi is crispy and so nice. Pickled carrots on point and the cold cuts of the classic one were decent. This is a legit sandwich shop. Pretty fast service.

Love this place. It was right across from our Airbnb and we ended up going here most days. The Banh Mi, both Chicken and Pork, were amazing. I definitely recommend you ask for it spicy! The summer rolls were also great. Finally if you like iced coffee try the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, it's fantastic.

the raid was boring so now i have to do it myself

Bro. BRO. My friend recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint. So I've been craving a banh mi. It could lead to some bias in my rating, but c'mon I was dummy hungry. So I go to this place and I get my pork banh mi, and since I love bubble tea I get a mango one with the bubbles. No big deal. So then I eat my banh mi, and bro, I loved it. The bread was well toasted, the flavors done right, and the sriracha on point. Mango bubble tea was also a nice kicker to the end and I loved it. So yeah I'm gonna give this place five stars. What are you gonna do about it? It's good.

Great banh mi sandwich joint. Definitely get one if you are in the neighborhood. Summer roll was average.

Best quick bite to eat I've found. Cash only hole in the wall that serves Vietnamese sandwiches and bubble tea.

Woke up this morning and needed a Vietnamese hangover fix. No sign in front. Walked a bit to get here. The bread for the sandwich is insanely good! Happy times.
