One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Atlanta. You get the same menu and good food that you get at the Buford highway location. I might say the food here is slightly fresher and better presented. The service is friendly. The facility is a little bit fancier and much newer. It's very large and can get noisy. Overall, if I'm in the area this is a place I would come back to.

i’ve been going here forever and they never disappoint! from auburn to atlanta this is all i look forward to. the food is amazing and they give great portions! enough to take home and enjoy tomorrow 😊. Even though we don’t go here often we go here enough to know how amazing it really is.

Came on an unbusy afternoon, and tried the Shaking beef (with fried rice) and an iced coffee. Absolutely delicious food. The iced coffee tasted very strong of coffee flavor. I liked it. Was a little confused on how to get a table and I had to speak with someone after a few minutes of waiting. The food made up for it. Would highly recommend!

Great foods and services since the new owner took over. My family comes here at least three times or more a month. Even better yet they’re now opening late till 2 A.M. I’m loving it for the new hours

A cockroach (gián) inside the bún mắm. I ordered togo pickup and even called 2 hours ahead with a big order: cơm tấm đặc biệt, bò lá lốt, mì hoành thánh, cháo lòng, and bún mắm. When I arrived, they told me they didn’t have cháo lòng but never called to let me know. I was traveling from out of state and specifically looked up this restaurant to try their food, so this was already disappointing. But the worst part was opening my bún mắm and finding a bug inside the bowl. That completely ruined the meal and made me lose my appetite. I understand holidays like Labor Day can be busy, but not calling customers about missing items and serving food with a bug inside shows a serious lack of care and food safety. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously because I would not want anyone else to have the same experience.

I forgot what good pho tasted like until I came here. Service was good and fast, very quick and attentive staff. Food took a little longer to come out than most pho places due to how busy it was during lunch, but it was worth the wait. Can't wait to try the other dishes and also try their Buford Hwy location.

My favorite place to stop whenever I'm in town! Nam Phuong is a classic Vietnamese place that has amazing food. Food: My all time favorite is the Salt & Pepper fried seafood. It's not too hard nor too salty. My mom got the 4.3 - Bo nuong la lot banh hoi. I recommend the whole menu haha. Service: Service was OK. I understand that they were busy. Atmosphere: Lucky enough, there wasn't much people when we went which was right when they open. However, they are typically very busy. When we left, there was a lot of people waiting. They do try to get you in as fast as possible though! The most we've waited would be 30 min. 9/10! Great food. My mom is a picky eater but she loves Nam Phuong, so that says a lot hahaha.

TLDR: very confused why this place has a 3/5 on Yelp. I give it a 5/5 personally. Food: reminds me of home. Specifically my grandma's home. Def not my mom bc she can't cook. But anywayyyys, try it out! I recommend the canh chua (sour fish soup) and the cá kho tộ (caramelized fish) set. It comes with the green bean, spring rolls, and jelly dessert. The set, I would say, is a pretty authentic meal for viets and they executed the taste perfectly. The spring rolls and dessert however were just okay and not the star of the show. Service: nice waiters. They frequently checked in on us and can speak English if you can't speak viet. Ambiance: nice waterfall decoration in the front and pretty murals across the restaurant wall. If the place is packed, you might have to share tables with another customer so beware if you're not into that. I was personally fine with it and used to it from other restaurants. Of course they will try to space you out seats away from the other customers.

I was craving for Vietnamese cuisine for lunch today, and visiting this restaurant turned out to be a delightful decision. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Despite only having 3 slices of tomatoes to accompany my shaken beef, they generously provided an extra five slices at no additional charge. The restaurant boasts ample space, and I was pleasantly surprised by the projector displaying serene green scenery, although I wasn't sure of its purpose. The shaken beef with jasmine rice surpassed my expectations in taste and portion size. The serving was remarkably generous; I would expect to pay the same price for half the portion in California. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We ordered their family meal for 4 people and a banh xeo; it was probably enough food for 6 - 8, and my group can eat A LOT. With the generous portion size, you definitely get a bang for your buck. You get a variety of appetizers, entrees, and a soup! We literally ran out of space on our table Unfortunately, our banh xeo wasn't crispy, so I would pass on that next time. This restaurant is clearly popular with the Vietnamese and general Asian community. They had many tables tightly packed together, and it was always full. Our service was decent, but we had to flag our waiter down a few times.

It's honestly been a very long time since I've been back to Nam Phong because it used to be a great place. Service was top tier, probably even better than what it was before but I wasn't partial to being asked to leave a review before finishing our meal. I had a friend order for me since I was in a time crunch for dinner. She was told the food will take about 15 mins to come out but it took less than 5 she said. By the time I got there it was lukewarm. I ordered the bun mang vit since I didn't want something too heavy and rich. The soup was very clean in flavor. Bamboo was pretty strong in both flavor and aroma. The steamed duck was tender and juicy. My favorite part of the meal was definitely the sauce that came with the dish. It was like a sweet and sour, ginger fish sauce. Amazing. I could eat that with just the protein and rice.

Our favorite place when in town, food is always delicious, we love the 3 delights wrap. Tony our waiter is the BEST, friendly and provided great service.

The food here is so buss, there's great customer service and the vibe is immaculate. The prices are extremely reasonable and cheaper compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but it's still extremely delicious!!! They make my favorite Vietnamese crepe i'm willing to drive almost an hour just to eat here. 10/10 MUST TRY!

I'm Vietnamese and I love coming here with my family. It's our go to spot to eat a family dinner together when we don't want to cook ourselves. Flavor is authentic and delicious. Servers are nice and helpful. Beautiful decor inside as well

Super efficient staff, food is always on point ....I've never had a bad dish here! I live all the way in NC, so whenever I'm down in Atlanta, I always told myself to try something new, but somehow always ended up here Bc I know for sure I will always have really good, authentic Vietnamese dishes here! My fav is the Tam vĩ thingy...I forgot the name, but it's one of their popular rice paper wrapping platter! Their gỏi gà is super delis too...just like how my parents make it ...but even better! I even had their cơm gd once and it was soo good, the cá kho tộ and canh chua was sooo yum!

5/8/24 Update- this morning I received a text from Phu demanding me to take down my review- see picture. Is this guy serious? He clearly does not care one bit about the longevity of the business speaking to people like that; especially when his peer is working so hard to resolve this mess he's created. It nearly worked, when he was "forced" by his peer into texting me an (insincere) apology the night before just so that I would agree to take down my review. I actually considered it because his peer had worked so hard to make things right, but then this text came...(see picture) Is he really trying to bully me into taking down my review? You could have been a bit more patient and things would have worked out for you, even though you do not deserve it. There are consequences to the actions you chose. I hope you will learn from your mistakes at some point and improve on the way you carry yourself as a person, as I feel so embarrassed for you. ____________ 5/7/24 Upon my review, I received a call from a nice gentleman (not Phu) to apologize for what had happened. He empathized and communicated very professionally- basically, he did the right thing as any business owner/manager should. Because of this gesture, I may or may not come back (but still very much appreciated his gentleman for taking the time to make right)- the latter only because unfortunately Phu (the owner's brother) will probably still be a part of that restaurant, and we can't care for his lies, attitude, customer depreciation, and lack of accountability. He really should have been the one to apologize as he was the single point to every issue we encountered at a what was supposed to be a very special day for my mother. That was something we can't take back. Thank you again for doing the right thing. Unfortunately, I can't take down the facts of my original review about your Manager, Phu. I do hope he will be able take accountability and show his future customers a little more appreciation and respect so as to avoid more negative feedback like this that could really damage the reputation of a business you all are working to so hard to brand. Nevertheless, we wish you much success- keep doing the right thing, and you'll see a difference!

Nam Phuong is my go to Pho restaurant. Many variety of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Pho, noodles, and rice dishes. Also hot pot! Give yourself a chance and try it out then judge for yourself. You won't know unless you try it!

We came for Mother's Day and they provided excellent service. The servers were friendly. Everything we ordered came out fairly quickly and they were delicious! Definitely recommend the fried rice cakes!Will definitely come back!

My family and I were visiting Georgia for a wedding and we wanted to share a meal all together. We called in Monday evening for a group of 25 and were seated at three different round tables (normally seats 8). It wasn't busy so there was plenty of room. The bill ended up being $550+. LOCATION: It's a classic Vietnamese set up. There's plenty of space with a couple round tables for large parties, and smaller ones. Lot of parking as well, so it shouldn't be an issue. FOOD: For my table, we ordered Com Phan 5 Nguoi (for 5 people) and ordered a few dishes on the side to feed the 9 of us at our table. For Com Phan, you get to choose between a few options (e.g. spring roll or egg roll, shrimp or fish). Everything together was more than enough food. The portion sizes are generous. ROOMS FOR IMPROVEMENT: - It would have been nice to already have plates and bowls already set up for everyone, especially since we had called beforehand. - Lazy Susans make it easier to share dishes when eating family style so we don't have to keep reaching or passing plates around.

Good was great for the price and very authentic. Service was great too! We had the pan fried rice noodles with beef and the bun Bo hue and both were delicious!

Visited Feb 11, 2023. Nam Phương had a huge menu to choose from. It can be over whelming but think of options by category first (such as noodles, soup, rice, vegetarian) then choose a dish. The restaurant has ample seating so I don't think a reservation is necessary. If you have a large party over 10 there might be a wait to set your table up but not too long. Service is mediocre. Not terrible but it's normal for servers to just take your order, run your food to you, and that's it. Do not be shy to wave a server down for anything else! They do so speak English but it's easier to order with special requests if you speak Vietnamese. Once you're ready to check out just head to the counter, this is a norm! Okay so to the good stuff: *I had Beef Stew, it was savory and semi sweet. It's typically served with bread but I had it with noodles. It was good but the noodle option can be messy so don't let it splash on your light clothing! *My husband had the Rice pork chop combo - it's one of the classic dishes you can order anywhere. It is a good option that's paired with an egg, some carrot/radish pickles, and veggies (lettuce, tomato + cucumber slices). * He also ordered a duck salad that is crispy like coslaw but fish sauce seasoning versus a mayonnaise base. I didn't get a chance but next time I'll add pages from the menu. There's plenty of parking and they take both card and cash for payment!

Food and service is very good. The paintings on the walls are very beautiful. The place is also very spaced out so it was not tight. Over all it was very great restaurant.

My friends and I come here sometimes for the speed of food service. Their food might not be the most authentic Vietnamese food, but who I am to say this while I'm not a Vietnamese. The food is not bad for the price. Service is hit and miss, really depending on when do you go in. A lot of people like to go there for some friends or family gathering, can't talk much about the ambiance. It's a typical Vietnamese restaurant, you come to eat and go, not really for hang out in my opinion.

R and I came here for dinner in late October at about 5 pm. We've been to the Nam Phuong restaurant on Buford Hwy in Chamblee many times, so we were familiar with items on their menu. This location is in a big outdoor shopping center with mostly Asian businesses. A very large and free parking lot just about assures that there will be available spaces at all times. Nam Phuong is a very big restaurant, and it looks like there is a banquet room. We walked in and were immediately welcomed and then led to a table away from others. Large groups of customers can be accommodated, but they may have to wait a while if there are lots of other customers already in the restaurant. The menu has a lot of different categories, the majority of which are, of course, Vietnamese dishes. We each wanted pho, with an order of shrimp summer rolls to share. That's what we ordered when our attentive server came by. R ordered pho tai (eye round), and I ordered pho tai nam bo vien (eye round, well done brisket and beef meatballs). The shrimp summer rolls came out first, with a cup of peanut sauce for dipping. The rolls were made perfectly, with shrimp, rice noodles, lettuce and mint in the wrap - crunchy! About 5 minutes later, our pho and toppings were served, and, a couple minutes later, our pho were served. I was actually surprised by the quantity of meat and veggies that were in the bowl. I was used to the amounts given at the Chamblee Nam Phuong, which I feel provides noticeably less meat and noodles in their pho bowls. Anyhow, I thought the broth was flavored well, but I like to add some hoison and sriracha to add a tad sweetness and some spiciness. I also add the extra fresh toppings provided - crunchy bean sprouts, lots of fresh basil leaves that I tear up into smaller bits and add, and add some acidic tanginess by squeezing a lime wedge into my bowl. Our server was very good, and was available until the end. She disappeared for a while at about the same time when we wanted our tab so we could pay. The employees here keep the restaurant clean. I noticed one of the employees sweeping the dining area, and employees clean up the tables soon after customers leave. There are so many items on the menu that I would like to try, but I believe that if you find something that you really like at a restaurant, stick with it. I have about 5 different menu items that I tend to rotate every time I eat at Nam Phuong. Good dining experience!

We've been coming to Nam Phuong for years and were pleasantly surprised with the upgraded menu and decor. We had a large party so we were able to order a variety of items: fried egg rolls, summer rolls with grilled pork, shaken beef, caramelized catfish in clay pot, brisket Pho, eggplant sautéed with garlic, Chinese broccoli with garlic, salt and pepper tofu ... EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!!!

I've been coming here for years with my family and on this dandy morning we get some braised fish and sour soup. WE FOUND A DAMN COCKROACH IN OUR FISH!!!!! It was huge. It wasn't no baby cockroach. It was a huge cockroach. We had already swallowed our food when we had seen it under everything and they didn't do anything about it. We had to demand it off the bill and they were hesitant about it. They just offered to make us a new one. I will never eat here again. This isn't the first time I've heard of this happening here. Disgusting.

Great food. My fiance and I always go here. This is definitely our go to for caramelized catfish! Bo luc lac is always great. The salt and pepper is the best. Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant!

We had Thai hotpot and seafood fried rice, they were delicious, we didn't not have to wait long. Huan was a nice serveur.
