Nandarang Restaurant & Bar

My experience at this restaurant was disturbing and offensive. After I didn’t tip the amount a worker expected, he followed me into the restroom and confronted me in a highly uncomfortable way. He stood over my shoulder while I was using the restroom, watching me, and made racist remarks like, “you people leave the restroom dirty,” clearly referring to me being Latino. He then called me a derogatory name, trying to provoke a reaction—which I chose not to give him. Throughout this encounter, he was slamming things around and even twitching, clearly displaying erratic behavior that was both concerning and inappropriate. This individual shouldn’t be working in a customer-facing role, given his aggression and lack of control. When I said I’d speak to the owner about his behavior, he just laughed, saying he’d been there for five years and “nothing would happen” to him. With an attitude like that, it’s no wonder he’s stuck in the same job—maybe that’s why he was so upset about a tip he clearly didn’t deserve. To make matters worse, a female staff member refused to help, wouldn’t provide the manager’s contact info, and ignored our concerns. This place made me feel deeply uncomfortable and disrespected, and we’ll be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. I urge anyone considering this establishment to think twice.

OMG, amazingly good food to go along with a decent selection of beers. We ordered the kimchi pasta with bacon 🥓, Korean BBQ pork tacos, and animal fries. All of it was so dang good and portions were huge. There were 4 of us and we left with food. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Food came out quickly and piping hot 🔥. Stumbling distance to the Wiltern. Go.

This place has so many different beers omg I tried a peach pilsner it was very balanced it almost reminded me of a blue moon but more of a seeeter taste , also I still felt like I was drinking beer as opposed to other fruity beers that just seem like juice . My partner had another pilsner that was also very good . Let's talk about the food😛, I am rice cake lover so that's what brought me here 😋 I've had tteoboki in other places and it's just too spicy where I have to dip my rice cake in a little water lol 😆, but these were perfect ! 🥰 loved the spice level and that you can add either ramen noodles or udon . I also tried the corn cheese 🧀 it was good but I didn't love the onion in it , but appreciated the uniqueness . Mozzarella sticks portion will feed a group of 8 very well 👌 we were just 2 but still devoured them lol. Pasta carbonara was very flavorful and the Korean BBQ tacos were flavorful as well . Over all a good place to bring a crowd for sure 👌 💯 recommend this place !

Kimchee shrimp pasta was bomb! Way better than The Yellow House. Sauce was creamy and flavorful! I will return! Service was excellent as well! I want to try the rest of the menu! It's not your typical Only Korean style bar. It's a mixture of Korean and American which is the reason for their excellent food selection!

So many good beers. I come here all the time. They also do happy hour between 11-7 everyday. Good bar in neighborhood. Please support them!!

The food was great! Huge selection of food and drinks which were really quickly prepared. The food has amazing flavor and the portions were good enough to share. Came here because some of the other restaurants in the area were super busy on a weeknight. Happy hour specials definitely beat the wait. The service here though was a little slow trying to get the check, but it had a great atmosphere almost didn’t realize it! Would come back for sure!

4 stars only because I haven't tried their craft beer and other food. I stopped briefly for Sapporo and their Tofu with stir fried kimchi and pork belly... Which was really good. Their service was good and it had a nice chill vibe. I would definitely go back and try their menu and craft beer.

Excellent service and delicious food and good portions! The restaurant is very clean too. Parking is pretty easy as well.
