It takes a little while for the food to come out, but it feels as if the chef is preparing each dish with genuine care. The flavors aren’t mass-produced like in restaurants that push food out factory-style, but instead carry the touch of delicate craftsmanship. I didn’t see the kitchen myself, but the taste was more than enough to create a wonderful memory and a meaningful time with my mother. The staff’s professionalism also perfectly complements the concise menu and its thoughtful explanations.

Look, this place was amazing! The food was amazing! Our waiter, I can't remember his name but the shorter guy...he was sooo fun! Gave out hugs! Felt like we had all met him before! Best experience! Now, the bottle we bought for $79 was so good, we decided to look for a bottle online to take back to Chicago...it was under $20...I didn't care too much for THAT markup but still a great experience!

Nando Trattoria is a charming Italian spot with a classic, authentic vibe. When I walked in, the aroma of aged cheese was noticeable – not my favorite, but to be expected in a true Italian restaurant. Our server was fantastic, recommending a lovely glass of white wine that paired beautifully with our meal. Since truffle was in season, the chef had a special dish: scrambled eggs with asparagus and truffle. I’m usually not a big fan of eggs, but this was easily my favorite dish of the night – rich and flavorful. We also tried the pasta with lobster and the bone-in steak. The steak was exceptional: tender and delicate, with just the right amount of fat to add flavor without being overly chewy. Our server was attentive throughout, making sure we had a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for authentic Italian with great service, Nando Trattoria is a great choice.

Top 3 I've been to in my many years of traveling...possibly #1 but tough to say. Definitely the best lamb chops I've ever had. Service from Juan Carlos was top notch and fun. Ambiance was perfection. Comfortable upscale Italian restaurant in a perfect setting. Cant wait to come back to Manhattan Beach again just to come here.

The mozzarella is to die for and the truffle gnocchi flawlessly smooth and rich. All of the housemade pasta was a treat and all portions very hearty. The restaurant was busy so the staff was hustling yet managed to provide wonderful and personal service. The wine list is thoughtfully curated and is easy to pair. The outdoor setup is comfortable and properly distances.

Love this place! The best Italian food I've have had in LA. I highly recommend this restaurant. Dario, co-owner, made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Although I fully enjoyed everything we ordered, my only regret is eating too much of the antipasti and not order more of the primi and secondi. I recommend coming with 4 people so you can sample more items on the menu. I'll definitely be heading back soon.

Good date night spot, wonderful service - for which I give it 3 stars. The restaurant is trying hard to appeal to those looking for Italian authenticity. Close to the beach. We had heard great things and we went to see what the fuss was all about with $35+ pasta dishes. I asked if there were vegetarian options and we were told that they can make so many things vegetarian, not to worry! Well. When the food came, we were most certainly disappointed with the flavors, some things were too salty, other things had no salt. For eg, the spinach and pear salad was really salty because of the amount of cheese in it. My pasta was made without the steak as requested and it has no salt and hardly any sauce or flavors. My partner ordered a regular truffle pasta dish with no substitution, for $42 and his had too much salt and oil. So my verdict: Supremely Over priced for what it offers. Also - Not the best selection in wine. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes, and probably don’t enjoy Italian wines are much as CA ones, so you may have a different experience, but we won’t be going back.

NTMB is a wonderful, traditional Italian restaurant in the upscale Manhattan Beach downtown core near the beach. The cuisine is outstanding as is the service and ambience. This is a great restaurant to impress a date or celebrate a special occasion like an anniversary, birthday. The atmosphere is upscale, classy and romantic for couples. I was attended to and seated right away. I also liked the fact that, I believe the owner/manager, also asked me if I was happy with my seat which was fine for me. First, the cheese bread was fantastic-best I've ever had at an Italian restaurant and I've been to hundreds worldwide. My main, Cavatelli Zucca E Cinghiale, was delicious with wild boar meat embedded in fresh, exquisite pasta. The recommended wine, Remole Toscana 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, was also a #1 for me of that variety. I spent a total of about $80(also nice they take cash because I'm a pro businesses taking cash activist and I always drop a star for a place only accepting plastic)which was a fair value for the food quality, service and ambience. NTMB achieves an LA County top ten Italian restaurant status for me. Highly recommended.

So I am giving them 5 stars, albeit a concern I had later. Frist off, the setting was nice, staff was very attentive and food was fresh and delicious... I don't give out 5 stars like candy... so the mere fact I'm giving 5 stars, says a lot about the restaurant. While I don't want to blame the restaurant, I wanted to include in my review in the (hopefully unlikely) event that anyone else ends up in the same situation. I was in town on business and had used my Hilton credit card at the hotel. I hadn't used this card in the previous 6 months. I also used it at this restaurant, after which I had a 6am flight the following morning. 10 days later I get a notification from AMEX about potential fraud charges. After looking at my card, I noticed the day after this restaurant it was used at a Simply Salad (twice) and Dominos in LA. It was then used to get a Hulu subscription and 8 other restaurants before getting flagged by AMEX. Again, I hope the point of occurrence was not at the restaurant, but given the circumstances and only using the card twice in a 6 month period, one can't help but wonder.

I was a bit skeptical walking in since there was only one other family in the restaurant. My mom found this place on yelp and chose it for her bday. NANDO DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This is legit Italian food. There was not a single thing we ordered that made me think 'meh' or 'I've had better'. The one thing that really stood out to me was the generous portions of seafood/lobster in our pastas. The huge chunks of lobster made the prices of the plates worth it. I wish I took pictures because the presentation was wonderful, but I was just too hungry. The food tasted too good to stop and take a picture. Pasta was cooked perfectly and all appetizers were well worth it. As a local, I highly recommend Nando if you're looking to try something new or have friends visiting from out of town! Let's keep this place busy South Bay!!

Very good Italian restaurant close to Manhattan beach pier. Appetizers: Focaccia bread- 5/5 Served warm, garlicky and nicely salted. Generous portion great for sharing with 2-4 people Caesar salad- 5/5 Refreshing, fresh, crispy. Wish it had anchovies but otherwise very good. Lobster ravioli- 4.5/5 Relatively light dish. Tasty, with small pieces of lobster Bolognese- 3/5 Most disappointing dish. Sauce was missing flavor. Have definitely had better. Tiramisu- 5/5 Definitely hit the spot. Service- 5/5 Note: they don't serve cocktails and hard liquor. Wine only.

Nice decor, authentic vibe with friendly Italian staff. Extraordinarily overpriced. Had a rez for 6:30p, apps took an hour and entrees took 2 hours to table...WTF!! Squash blossoms over breaded with very little stuffed cheese, cavatelli absolutely no seasoning and very bland, off-menu chicken parm ordered for an individual and arrived as an enormous 2-3person plate without warning. Chicken Parm was good but potato's were cold, unacceptable. Group enjoyed their bolognese and steak. Focaccia bread was excellent. Dinner took 3.5 hours to conclude due to very slow service. Much better options for the price. Paid $260 for two and went home hungry. Insulting

Everything about Nando Trattoria is amazing. The service and ambiance was attentive, friendly and cozy. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted something special! Everything was delicious and so well presented. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who appreciates good food , well crafted with delicate tastes. Not your heavy red sauce type of cuisine.

Sicilian dining without traveling to Italy... My dining partner* (on this wonderful occasion) and I dined at Nando Trattoria on a Sunday evening. Nando is a cozy, authentic Italian restaurant located in Manhattan Beach not far from the shoreline. We parked at a meter on Manhattan Beach Bl. and took a very short relaxing walk to the restaurant. The environment was modern, vibrant and welcoming. The ambiance was intimate and subdued with soft lighting and soothing background music. We try to follow a mostly plant-based (vegan) diet. While entrees on the menu were very limited in that regard, they were very open to customizing something just for us. We started with a delicious spinach salad with pine nuts. For our entrees, after describing our likes to Valerio (waitstaff), the chef, Alessio, concocted a simply amazing vegan pasta dish off-menu. The dish was made up of pasta and accompanied by a light tomato based sauce with capers, olives, mushrooms and other vegetables. The texture of the sauce was creamy and clung perfectly to each al dente piece of pasta. All of the flavors were wonderfully balanced and robust. The dish was outstanding all around (timing, plating and OF COURSE... taste). Everyone working there enhanced our authentic Italian dining experience. Service was very warm, friendly and efficient. Takeout review: this is my fourth order from Nando and I'm impressed by both the quality, price, and portions ... Not pictured but the rigatoni bolognese is also excellent. Would recommend truly everything we have tried here: vegetable plate, spaghetti, branzino limon.

Atmosphere - Indoor and outdoor seating available. Would recommend reserving a table. Taste - We had the Burrata, Gamberoni Blue, Crostone, Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, Paccheri Di Mare, and tiramisu. Everything was fresh, authentic and well prepared. We also had 2018 Aleksander Wine which was well balanced,m and paired well with the food. Customer Service - Excellent! If you crave the authentic taste of Italy, and more specifically Sicily, you will not find a better experience in the Los Angeles area. This is authentic, hand-crafted cooking that originated with the chef's family in Sicily. Extreme attention to detail with warm and genuine service. The Gnocchi Costata E Funghi (Potato gnocchi pasta, braised short ribs, seasonal mushrooms) is a truly unique experience paired with an Etna Rosso. Don't miss this if you're any where near the neighborhood and reserve in advance.

My closest friends and I had the pleasure of dining at Nando in Manhattan Beach, and it surpassed all expectations.   From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by Dario, whose hospitality set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was enchanting, with romantic lighting and a soundtrack that perfectly complemented the cozy atmosphere.   Throughout our meal, the attentive staff ensured that our glasses were never empty, The Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino wine paired so wonderfully with everything. Each dish arrived at just the right moment, allowing us to savor every sip of wine and engage in conversation while relishing each beautifully presented bite.   The food was nothing short of a culinary adventure. We indulged in an array of dishes including the Bruschettone, Cavoletti Ortolani, Gnoccho E Costata, Gemellu Alla Norcina, Tonno Di Venere, Pollo Parmagiana, and finished with desserts.   Although I regret not capturing more moments on camera, I've included a few photos and videos to give you a glimpse of our experience. Nando is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that's perfect for impressing guests, a romantic date, or simply treating yourself to a memorable evening. An Italian gem in Manhattan Beach! Came here on a whim and they sat us outdoors with our dog and service was impeccable. Our waiter Juan was absolutely amazing and so attentive to us the entire night. He deserves most of the kudos for tonight since he absolutely crushed it. The food was also quite amazing. We ordered burrata to start and it was so fresh and delicious. The flavor came from the Calabrian chili and the small bed of grilled veggies, and of course the prosciutto. I highly recommend ordering the gamelli in truffle sauce since it was to die for. The Wagyu pasta was soft and melted in our mouths but the gamelli was something else with the truffle, that just elevated the whole dish. I don't get Italian often but Nando's definitely does it right!

Stop by here for dessert. We ordered a chocolate lava cake and it was delicious. Great service and ambiance as well!

By the pier a cozy Italian restaurant with great food and service. Dario the owner was so sweet and making sure we were enjoying our food. So far i had the best Italian food all the way from Italy. Will be back soon.

WOW. 5+ Stars I celebrated our anniversary dinner here at NANDO. My husband and I searched the web through and through to look for a cute small Italian restaurant that we've never been to or heard of. There were so many choices and we randomly went with NANDO after looking through photos ... (the photos on yelp does not do them justice) We were treated with such amazing service that we placed NANDO on our top list of restaurants that we want to come back to and recommend to our friends. * Amazing service * Great Ambience * FOOD FOOD FOOD We reserved this place for our anniversary. We were given a nice table indoors in the middle of the restaurant - even offered another table per preference.. we actually really liked our tiny table in the middle :) While looking into our menu, the owner brought out a champagne for us to celebrate our anniversary! how thoughtful! we already started the evening in good spirits! Ordered: - foccacia bread with truffle - Carpaccio Di Manzo - Gemelli Norcina - Cioppino Seafood The food was phenomenal. As someone who rarely eats Italian food, i thoroughly enjoyed every item that we ordered. Foccacia bread was so good! we personally didn't finish the bread worried that we would be too full to enjoy the other dishes. Every item was perfectly seasoned and presented! I can't honestly express how much I enjoyed our meal here. You have to come and try it! We already decided to celebrate our next birthday at this restaurant to try other menu items. Once finished and paid for our meal, the waiter told us to stay because the owner wanted to celebrate our anniversary again with a dessert! How thoughtful of them! He brought out panna cotta for us.. and wow. we were both blown away of how amazing the panna cotta was. We both shared that this might be one of the best dessert we've had in years! Coming again for this! It was a great evening for us and we feel that NANDO gave us an anniversary celebration

The fact that Nando is not the #1 ranked restaurant in MB, makes me question the relevance of all Yelp rankings, candidly. As a MB resident, I've been to every restaurant in town. Nando is the only place I take out of town guests excepting exceptional cuisine. I've had Italian life long New Yorkers tell me it may be the best Italian restaurant they have EVER been to ... need I review more:)? Exceptional food, wine and service that will not disappoint the most discerning restaurant goers.

Top Italian food I've had in the US. SO good. The homemade focaccia was maybe the best bread I've ever had. Flavor combinations in the dishes were thoughtful. The service was remarkable. If I lived in MB, I would be a regular.

Truly enjoyable experience with a nice indoor atmosphere, lots of outdoor seating, and a well thought-out wine list. Both the Italian sparkling wines we tried were very good, and I was impressed that the waiter matched the Italian wine profile to that of a favorite French Champagne on the menu (just didn't want to pay $35/glass for it). Had a nice Chianti too, which can be hit or miss with me. But no complaints about the food: the focaccia was dense and moist, our caesar salad was very good (although a bit overdressed), the carpaccio was good, and our pasta bolognese was terrific. Or was it? While it was tasty and well prepared, when you're paying over $30 for a pasta dish, you have to ask yourself if it was better than anything else around in the same price range. We're not sure it was. Even in the South Bay, there are others that compare or exceed the experience for less (granted, not a lot less). Not a great value, but certainly a nice food experience. The service was spot on and attentive...until it wasn't. Yes, the waiter was excellent. But as we were seated inside and most of the diners were eating outside, the waiters were easily distracted. No one checked on our meals, although they cleared our plates quickly. When it came time for the bill, it took us a long time to flag down someone. Finally, a busboy(?) came and took care of us (just as they had delivered and cleared the plates). Big props to them--the busser staff was on point.

The hospitality we experienced dining here was outstanding! Visited during NYE and they even had-live music! The owner Dario, warmly welcomed us upon arrival. I requested for a change of tables for more privacy and it was smoothly accommodated. The team here pays attentively to their guests, menu recommendations, clearing the table, offering for another glass of wine. We really enjoyed our visit. The food is alright... The Carpaccio Manzo was delicious! Best focaccia! Hands down- the hospitality was outstanding. The owner really stops by and checks on guests to see how everyone is enjoying dinner. Our sever Juan was sweet, made sure we had a nice dining experience. Looking forward to our next visit!

We decided to celebrate Valentine's Day one day early to avoid the crowds. We walked around Manhattan Beach and stumbled upon this cute trattoria. They seated us quickly even though we didn't have a reservation. We received the most attentive service. They went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was perfectly prepared. We ordered the scallop appetizer and the focaccia with truffle fondue. The focaccia was one of the best I've ever had. Definitely order this! For my entree, I ordered the rigatoni with wagyu beef ragout and my husband ordered the special turbot dinner. Both were excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, the ambiance warm and inviting and the service is outstanding. We will definitely be back!

I was excited to try this place as it looked like a good restaurant. It's pretty loud in here and the prices are really expensive for what you get. Most of the food was okay, nothing special. Food took forever to come out, which I can understand as they were busy, but it took over an hour. I was so disappointed in the pasta with truffle. I was expecting it to be flavorful but it tasted like water. There was no salt and no flavor. Only the truffle provided any flavor. I was not satisfied at all and won't be coming back. Definitely not worth the price when there are cheaper better options available.

Food was great. However for service they get a 6, they forgot to put 2 of our bolognese pasta plates on our to go bag and only put 1 out of 3 with the least amount of pasta in it.. anyways ambiance is nice.

We came to Nando excited for the menu and the ambience. Once we got in, we had mix feelings. There were only two servers for around 50 customers. The server seemed stressed and cranky. Also, for such expensive place, it was unceptable not having tablecloth on the tables. No bread was offer or brought to the table. The wine was poured without even offered to test it. The people on the tables next to our on both sides, we're drunk, loud and annoying. When we made a comment to the owner, his only comment was "they are having fun", while the waiter kept pouring wine on the guest. Of course, selling wine is their revenue. We had an issue with an 85 dollar Stake. Was asked to be medium well, it came cold and raw. Conclusion: a restaurant for customers of a bar. Camarero, open another bottle please!

What a great local spot! My beau and I had a little date night while taking care of our friends dogs for the evening while in MB. Dario and his crew certainly get it right and understand that less is often more and bigger isn't necessarily better! Giuseppe took great care of us while we dined in an unmuted yet elegant decor on white truffle pasta and the most beautiful "tomahawk" Milanese washed down with a fantastic Nebbiolo. The place was fairly empty so we got particularly good attention, but, not so much where it interrupted the meal. Spot on for everything. Such a great and unexpected delight. You'd be remiss not to check it out while in MB.

Always 5 stars. 5 star food. 5 star service. 5 star ambience. 5 star romantic night out. I love Nando. The menu is shockingly simple but amazing. The service is subtle but attentive and wise about what fits and what doesn't. The hosts are compelling and sincere. The vibe is romantic, yet in a happy and inviting way. Don't be turned off by an expensive meal. Do it once in a while to celebrate with your lady...or treat the family. It is totally worth it. Try some wine...get that truffle gnocchi...eat dessert. Authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of MB. Dimly lit, intimate interior provides an upscale ambiance for dinner dining. Nice menu with selection of hand made pastas, seafood dishes, and some greens. Overall nice flavor but nothing spectacular for the price point.

This restaurant is a Gastronomical experience and the owner Dario is such an Entertainer. This restaurant is on our top three list of the best Italian restaurants in the world, and I have been to Italy. We had such a wonderful experience. We must go back if we're ever in Manhattan Beach, California.

What an amazing place. Food was out of this world, staff was extremely friendly, and it's super cute inside. Even had them pick a wine which was terrific. If you're on the fence-just try it, you won't regret it.

Had a really great dining experience here. The service was top notch and all of the food was delicious. The Burrata was beyond delicious, Branzino prepared and served to perfection, both salads- Spinach & Teresina were great! This place was recommended by a friend and now I can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for a awesome dining experience this is the place to go!

We can't hardly wait to come back here! We put the words out to friends & family for this place. The quality of the food is absolutely delicious. The host was super friendly & seated us (a few mins wait) a nice outdoor table -- the weather was just perfect! Wine was great (Italian wine) to pair appropriately with the whole Italian dishes & some speaking-Italian phrases from the wonder staff. There was a little hiccup with the food-ordering & delayed between the appetizer & main course. The staff recognized & apologized & made the correction immediately...turning the sad to smiley face (just sipping more on the wine ...awaiting for pasta dish). The food was definitely worth waiting for. The staff only went the extra mile to comp the desert-pairing sippy. We really enjoyed the dining experience. Great location, European-charmed ambiance, great tasting dishes & excellent service. Kudos !

I had been wanting to try this place, especially having spent 2 weeks in Sicily a few years ago. Decor was excellent. Nicely done up. Noise level was terrible! When you can't hear the waiter, and he probably can't hear you, it is not good. Not the best situation when you are taking an old friend out for dinner and wanting to catch up with them. Food was good to great. The "up sell" foccacia type bread was really good. The bolognese pasta was tasty, as it should have been for $30+, but not outstanding. The branzino was really good, the best item we had. Out of the house chardonnay? Another upsell. $24 for a scotch & water? $12-14 for a bottle of water? $200 for a light dinner for 2 with one drink each. 3.5% add on for health insurance or something for the kitchen staff... Overall - good, but insanely priced. Much better deals all around the area.

Nando deserves 5 stars for both the service and the food. The service was top-notch at Nando as I felt like I was being well attended to by my server (Luca I think was his name?). The girlfriend and I started off the dinner with the foccacia bread. The Foccacia was super delicious with how soft it was and warm. I wanted more of that truffle fondue with every bite I took. It was a really decent size that definitely can be a great appetizer for a party between 2-4. We then got a cavatelli with mushroom and sausage topped with shaved truffle. The sauce was creamy and truffly. Each bite had a ton of mushrooms and plenty of sausage. If you are a mushroom lover, this is a perfect dish since it has 3-4 different mushrooms in the dish and the thick sauce coats your mouth every time. We also got a tagiatelli bolognese. The noodles were really solid and it came with plenty of meat to go with the noodles. Overall, this was a great dish, but the truffle cavatelli was definitely the star of the show. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to friends.

Excellent attention and last minute res for me and my friend. Thank you Dario the service was by far excellent considering the room was packed and none other than Dario making certain we were always tended too whilst the plates of food kept arriving killing our waist lines lol! So worth it. This gem is quaint, YUMMY, Great Wine, and lovely ambiance !!! And it was Dario's birthday night so that was a special night! Go and enjoy this place it's a great spot for real Italian and fun times!

Never had an experience like Nando before. The best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles hands down. The quality of the food is a 10/10. Dario took care of our table and is top class. Manhattan Beach gem. Grazie!

The ambience was good, but service was very slow. Came in for a birthday dinner, took a while to order our food. Appetizers came around 30 minutes, which is doable, but our main course took over an hour to come out. The pasta dish that came out had no flavor other than the truffle, but it's like they forgot to add salt to the sauce. Overall not satisfied with the overall experience, especially with the price I paid for.

My partner went to this establishment to celebrate an anniversary just recently. Buyer beware! The menu posted on their website is NOT the same menu they will present you at your table. The prices are also adjusted a good 30-40 percent more. This place is over rated, outrageous, and totally not worth the money. $65 pastas, $25 cocktails-- no thanks.

Not coming back. Meat undercooked and cold. They brought it later so the other people had to wait with the food in front. Service was rude. We didn't want the meat anymore and they still brought the same one back more cooked. Nobody apologized and still charged us. Not a classy place for sure.

Simply the best. From the start to end, wine to dessert, with friendly and professional staffs, every combination has been just so fabulous. It is very hard to find such a good quality of seafoods entries nowadays but this will be your place to go. My experience has opened up the eyes of new world of food quality and service. I've found a new favorite dinner spot!! Nando is an absolute gem of a restaurant... delicious food, fantastic hospitality, beautiful ambiance... all making it a win/win/win for me and my family!! Dario, the owner extraordinaire, truly made us feel like family. What an epic host! Valerio guided us through the menu with the utmost of care and helped us select the perfect combination of food to give us the perfect experience. Oscar kept our table in tip top shape. The kitchen sent out one exquisite item after another. Highlights included the Gamberoni Blue (blue prawns and caviar with a sauce that will make you want to drain the bowl dry), Carpaccio di Manzo (wagyu sliced thinly with the best flavor compliments, all melt-in-your-mouth perfection), and the best cooked scallops I've ever tasted. We had a gorgeous 2016 Aleksander Reserve wine that paired well with every bite. And make sure to save room for dessert... the homemade donuts are a showstopper and the cannoli (Dario's grandfather's recipe!) is pure magic! We practically scraped the plates clean. We will definitely be back, again and again!

Told a friend that I would meet him at Nando's for a Birthday present..could NOT have been more pleasantly surprised with the Awesome food there. Much more then just a place to enjoy delicious Italian food at Nando's but the atmosphere there was wonderful(a little dark but candles not necessary.) Owner/manager Dario was an perfect host(almost like a dinner party with your closest friend.) and the wait staff was definitely on top of things if you needed anything was already "on the way" The metered parking sucks and Your definitely going to stay longer then planned on and I was too full to try the Pistachio Gelato(which I heard was phenomenal!!) was the only downside if I was going to dissect my perfect dining experience at Nando's!?!? But if thats not really a complaint.. more like a little baby whine after thinking about it. I will Guarantee that Nando's will be a regular stop now on and for "special occasions" Now that they are open at lunch time on the weekends. I will be there a LOT!!

Excellent food, service and ambiance. Have the lasagna, it was otherworldly and the carbonara was especially fantastic . Seriously just back from Rome and this was the best pasta ever. Great place, great ambiance and most importantly, great food. We were lucky to try a tasting menu of many off their popular appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Appetizers were fresh, and different than what I have tried before. All were fresh and tasty. The service was great and helpful. The entrees we tasted were great, flavorful and the desserts amazing

This is an amazing Italian spot in MB! The decor is beautiful and modern, they have plenty of outdoor seating if that's what you want, and their staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Their wine list is pretty extensive but Dario and the servers gave us great suggestions. I wish I snapped a picture of the wine we ended up going with because I'll never remember the name, haha! I noticed their corkage is $50 so I wouldn't bring a bottle unless it was a very special bottle for a very special occasion. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try but we went with: - Arancini: there's a spinach one and a bolognese one on the menu, we tried both. I honestly didn't have a favorite between the two, they were both delicious! - Arugula salad with artichoke hearts, fennel, and Parmesan: this was recommended by our server and I'm so glad we got it. Simple, light, and refreshing - Cioppino: this was on their specials menu and probably the best cioppino I've ever had. A little pricy coming in at $68 but the seafood was all really fresh and it was a generous portion. I'd definitely get this again! - Chicken parm: this was an off-menu special, reasonably priced, and HUGE. Literally when it arrived at the table, we gasped - it could have been split 3-4 ways. Can't wait to come back!

Small, very cute restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Very friendly staff. I forgot to take pictures, enjoying the dishes we ordered. Between six of us, we had 3 appetizers, 3 desserts, 3 different pasta dishes, bronzino and lamp chop. Everything thing was so~~~~ delicious! One of my friend, is a very picky eater, doesn't like much stuff, he said he wanted to lick the plate it was so good. Definitely will go back!

Lovely intimate restaurant with sophisticated Italian menu. The focaccia appetizer was particularly delicious as were the polpette. My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and left all our plates as pictured! The owner was charming and very attentive. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
