Nando's PERi-PERi

On Sunday, we swung by Nando’s for lunch, and it was such a delightful experience! I absolutely loved their veggie sandwich and the Portuguese rice. We also sampled a few other dishes, and I have to say, the fries were fantastic! The mango lime wings were just okay, but they have a great variety of sauces to choose from. All in all, it was a really enjoyable meal!

An explosion of flavors! We had the Rainbow bowl and the half chicken meal with the Brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, and cauliflower. The sauces they put on everything was amazing and then there about 8 other sauces from mild to very hot to choose from for the chicken. We will definitely be back again. Kudos for the great service as well. I forgot to take a picture of our food but got one of another.

This has become one of my favorite spots! The staff are awesome. The ambiance is perfect! West African style decor and music sets the perfect vibe. The manager is always on point. Super helpful and super friendly. You can tell customer service is big on their mind. And the FOOD!!! I always leave with another order for home.. I love it that much. My favorite is the rotisserie style chicken, mashed potatoes, rice and fries. And you must try their Honey Lavendar Tea. Delicious! I can't recommend this place enough! You need to try it!

Nando's will forever be my go-to restaurant. Being from the U.K., I waited 12 years to step back into it, but I remembered just how much I love it as soon as I arrived. The staff were all very friendly. What felt different this time is that I ordered through an app, but hey I won't complain about that because I'm getting points for great rewards! I ordered a full platter with Peri Chips and Garlic Bread with the chicken at a hot spice level. Absolutely delicious. They don't call it a cheeky Nando's for nothing. Nando's is a place I'll go to time and time again and never get bored. You bet I'll be back soon!

I had such an amazing experience here. Customer service is not dead! It was my very first time here and everyone including the staff was super friendly and helpful. Thank you for such amazing service. Things like this really do make someone’s day and the food was amazing! 😊 Wish I found out about this spot sooner.

If you want a delicious healthy meal, I highly recommend this place. It was my first time, Hollowny, our host greeted us with such a warmth. We had their peri-peri chicken and corn on the cob. By far it was one of our delicious chicken we had in a long time. My husband could not stop himself from saying “it is delicious, with every bite” 😂 You bring your own sauce to the table and the good thing is that you can try all of them.

The food was delicious! I got the chicken thigh meal with two sides. My son got the kids chicken sandwich and fries! The chicken was perfectly grilled and juicy. The corn and mashed potatoes were buttery!! To top it all off the customer service was incredible. They were attentive and quick! We will be back.

I thought the food was quite good. It's such an awesome breakout of the two main flavor tastes- the char taste of the chicken and the creamy/spicy taste of the sauce. They were out of boneless chicken breast when I went, so I had to sub for thigh. Also, the bowl I thought came with avocado, but it wasn't served to me. I low marked the service because I was barely spoken to when greeted and seated, and that was pretty much the only time someone spoke to me. I ordered off my phone, passing words when my food came out and that was it. But the food was good.

What a nice treat my lunch was today! This restaurant is at the forefront section of La Centerra in Cinco Ranch. It's clean, bright and inviting! There is a menu outside to look over and this is actually where the owner himself saw me pondering and kindly invited me in with notions of grandeur from what their food choices! This was my first time so this was such a perfect intro to a new place! I ordered the rainbow bowl and the wings and was graciously seated at a table. The food came out quickly, hot and gorgeously plated! Very flavorful and decadent. Extremely well seasoned and they have several sauce options on the counter near the soft drinks. I had a great experience here. David, you are a gem! Thank you so much for lunch. I think my lunch and culinary dining couldn't have been better!

Service at times is a miss or a hit every time I go there. The website is hard to find the free kids meal w/purchase so you have to google keywords. Ultimate disappointment: What is worst (and customers might or might not notice) is the SERVICE CHARGE. What a great feeling of noticing later after being a good customer in the past and present! Service charges are deceptive and shouldn't be allowed. It is mandatory, and it is NOT to provide tips or partial tips. Please google this. It is for the business to collect so they could use YOUR charge to take care of the employees, company's fees, EXCEPT tip. I believe they take a percentage for themselves and the rest is the company's expenses. This will overall give (most) customers to think it's a tip or provide some tipping when it is NOT. This will end up customers giving less tip or none and that hurts the employees. Not a good feeling. Just raise the price and drop this charge. Not happy.

I don't think the food is worth it for the price. My skewer was burnt and overall, the variety of sauces don't help the missing flavor component. I am open to trying different dish, but it's still low on my list.

This was my first time trying Nando's since my friends recommended it. I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and juicy the chicken was. My favorite sauce to pair it with was the lemon herb sauce. The Mac and cheese was not too heavy and I liked the texture the breadcrumbs added. The coleslaw was a nice refreshing bite to balance out the dish. Good portions as well!

Amazing food and very fresh. The lunch special is a steal. Drink with an entree and side for 10-14$ which is great given that individually it would cost s bit more. I got the lemon herb flavor chicken with fries. Very juicy and flavorful, then paired it with the medium peri peri sauce at the counter. Everything paired well. The staff was also very friendly and checked in on me. Def recommend!

Nandos...what can I say? I am a huge fan. If you love chicken, fast casual setting, variety of options for all, this is the place to go! Once you walk in you are greeted to a table. You can either order through your phone , though I would recommend ordering at the front for your first visit - it may be overwhelming at first. Now on to the food.... The 3 chicken thighs were boneless dark meat. Char grilled, not overly cooked, moist and juicy- the hot peri peri sauce has a great kick to it! The rice was very good but the mashed potatoes are excellent!! The soda offerings are Coke products and it's probably one of the best tasting sodas in terms of fizzy/taste at any restaurant I've been to. The peach tea offered wasn't bad either! Will be back...again and again.

If you love chicken, this is the place to be! They do have some vegan/vegetarian menu options as well. Located at La Centerra, Nando's has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. It is beautiful! Once you walk in, you'll be asked where you'd like to sit but once you sit down you're on your own. The menus are given, but then you are told to order on your phone, which was interesting to figure out. The menu has many options depending on what you'd like, and when it comes to the chicken you can always choose what heat level you'd like. We chose the butterflied chicken with two sides. I chose the coleslaw and French fries, with my chicken being hot. And my boyfriend chose the butterflied chicken with the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. He chose medium. The food came out fairly quickly. There is a bar area to get your silverware and any extras sauces you'd like, along with water. I really enjoyed the food! I wish the dining experience was a little more intimate with service. But still a great place to come.

I'm a fan, the chicken is cooked perfectly and I'd reckon I could go up to extra hot no problem. The half chicken with one side is quite filling and plates beautifully. Love the self-serve water aspect. Need to try other sides, but the rice has hit! Cheers!

My first visit was incredibly satisfying, more accurately, I loved it. Ok first timers please know that you walk in and order at the counter or go to your table and use the QR code. I went directly to a table and was sitting there for a while before someone informed me of the process to order. Either way the food is delivered to your table without a long wait. It took me a few minutes to figure this out, explanations the entry way would help. The food is absolutely great, the chicken is very tender and full of flavor. I hesitated to order the peas as my side but really glad that i did. It was one the best style of peas I've ever had. The servers and staff are friendly and attentive (almost too much) which really stands out. The restaurant is brilliantly lit with lots of colorful art on every wall. Ok, the music was a little loud for me but didn't take away from the overall experience. My next visit will be with a bigger appetite so I can fill up more dinner options.

Nando's is a family favorite restaurant. The chicken plus all the flavors of sauces and delicious sides will having you coming back again and again. The staff is always happy to see you. It's have both indoors and outside seating. It's a must try in you are in the area.

There were staff members standing by in various corners waiting to assist anyone. -The seating is a bit tight. The booth right next to us had kids coughing all over the place. We were also next to the soda fountain machine, which caused a lot of foot traffic very close to our table. -I wish the french fries were freshly-cut. -The ordering at the table could use some improvement. What we ordered: 1 family platter ($41.39) with peri chips, perinaise (+$1.00), golden cauliflower (+$3.00), mashed potatoes, and 1 chicken thigh skewers Total: $49.13 post-tax I wish Nando's would franchise in the States, as I would definitely open up a few dozen stores (if I could find a group of investors to partner up with).

When I found out Nando's was opening in Katy, I fell to my knees and thanked the Peri-Peri gods. This place was one of the highlights for me every time I went to England, and now we have our very own right here in Katy. All of the servers were very friendly and more than willing to help. And the food, amazing (as always). Can't wait to eat here more often.

Nando's is a gem in la centerra! When I walked in, I was met with a wonderfully decorated place that seems a great place to meet with friends or eat solo. The servers are very nice and they explained their menu to ensure that there would be no confusions. The way that you order and pay, is through a qr code at the table. You also need to go to the side of the restaurant to get utensils, napkins, and different kinds of peri peri sauces. I ordered the half chicken (hot) and it was very good! The chicken was tender and extremely flavorful. The side I chose was their mac and cheese and my only regret was that the portion should've been bigger. It was perfectly creamy and the added breadcrumbs highlighted the dish. The hummus was also amazing and I liked their addition of their peri peri sauce. I wished their fries were a bit more crispy, however it was still delicious.

I would say the wings were probably the best thing on the plate. The rice was bland even with adding some of their peri sauce to it. Mac and cheese was okay, I didn't expect much. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday, but I was told it's always busy.

One of the best chickens I've had. I enjoyed the quick self service of the restaurant, easy readable menu and ordering QR system on the phone where you can pay as well. The food came out pretty quick and looked amazing. The mango lime sauce was delicious. Great portions. I'd come back.

Finally got around to trying this new place in La Centerra. You order at the counter or can scan a QR code and pay from your phone. It has indoor and outdoor seating and has cute South African decor. The manager Shelly was very nice and gave us a run down of the menu. This chicken is absolutely delicious. There are so many bottles of sauce to choose from but I highly recommend the medium garlic. Wrap was superb and large portions. I will 100% be back and likely very soon!

I'm in love with their chicken legs and Brussels! It's such a great experience every time I come and consistently delicious! The flavor explosion of the Brussels keeps me coming back for sure- how do you make it taste so amazing?! Service is great, friendly staff. It's casual and easy to find a seat.

Was familiar with Nando's from my travels in Chicago and went there for dinner to try it. Upon entering the restaurant ambiance was relaxed and vibrant. The service was great especially from Holloway! He was always there when you needed something. The food was juicy tender and delicious. My favorite flavor is mango lime!!!

Nando's is a "quick casual" restaurant with menu options to satisfy most hunger (and heat) levels. I was eager to try the peri-peri flavor, and I was impressed. I ended up ordering the Spicy Chicken Caesar Wrap with a side of peri chips (fries) and peri ranch. The toasted chickpeas inside the wrap added a nice little crunch. The meal was a perfect portion to be filling but not make me too full. I went with Medium for my spice level, and it had a good zing without having to gulp down water between every bite. The peri ranch was great! It was a little tangy and a generous portion which helps justify the $1 cost for the side of ranch. My biggest complaint about my experience was with service. First, I was somewhat confused by the process. I had to wait to be seated and allowed to go up to the sauce counter to sample the spiciness of sauces. However, I then had to go order at the counter. Second, the cashier was not great at answering my questions about the menu--he told me that the thigh skewers would be chewy so to go with the wrap instead when I asked which was a more popular item. The cashier also did not know the beers on the menu nor how to add them to my bill. He was friendly, but just very green and not too concerned about it. After ordering I had to go pickup my own utensils, napkins, and water from the side counter, but before I could even finish that my food was on a plate in the hands of a server. He walked up to me and asked if I wanted my food at my table. Odd question... I said yes, and he set it down while I finished gather my utensils. I never had another interaction the rest of my meal with any employees. The food was unique and flavorful, and I would definitely come back or invite coworkers. I would hope the service team improves to provide less confusing experience.

I've heard so many good things about nandos and it definitely lived up to the hype! My dad & I both got the perri perri rainbow bowl with a side of the perri perri chips (fries/ranch on the side) and thought everything tasted amazing. So many different flavors blended in one. I will say that the food was on the spicer side though. Very unique dinning experience. The restaurant is decorated very nice and the servers were super attentive. Glad I got to try this place!!

A lot of traffic in this area, but there's plenty of parking on site. Didn't realize locations opened in Houston. First tried Nando's in Chicago. I felt nostalgic and ordered the peri chicken rainbow bowl (boneless chicken breast, medium spice) as takeout. It was not that spicy, but there was a lot of flavor! Nice decor with indoor and outdoor seating.

Today I placed an order on their app and received a disaster food. I have photos of my food and the order was not made as I requested, for those $20 I bought something much better (fast food). I ordered for the app a Nandoca's Choice sandwich, was a disaster, the bread was soggy, no salad, coal spicy chicken (I ask for plain flavor) and fatty.

Excellent service. Food served quick. Favor town in everything. Juicy chickens in all cuts. Clean indoors and outdoor with heaters if needed. Highly recommended!

HUGE fan of Nando's! I would like to add that their food carry's well to go. CONS: The service is a hit or miss. When you dine in you place your order on your phone and it's nearly impossible to make any modifications through the phone. You have to grab an employee.

Loved this spot!! Great playlist that always gets me dancing while eating my food. Staff is welcoming and approachable. Food is delicious and healthy, cant go wrong!

We were just driving thru the area and by accident that We discovered Nando's -- It was our first visit-- quality and moist chicken - our new favorite place for Peri Peri chicken cravings-- anytime! Horacio was kind enough to give us the history of the Nando's Restaurant and how they kept those chicken so moist and juicy! Thanks Horacio for a great conversation and to all the staff and Cooks/ Chefs who prepared our freshly made chicken Leg quarters! You guys are the best making sure our experience was memorable and that We enjoyed every bite till the end!, Pls don't forget to try their Lemonade! Well.... We ended up buying 4 more orders of their juicy moist delicious chicken Leg quarters for our late dinner that night-- true test is.... Did those chicken Leg quarters stayed moist for our late dinner-- Yes, and We enjoyed a lovely late dinner from Nando's ! Highly recommend to try this place-- Happy staff are ready to serve and welcome everyone!

First time visiting Nando's after religiously using their spicy Mayo on all of our sandwiches at home. As a heads up, the only ways to order are scanning the QR code at table, ordering and paying all in one go or going up to counter and ordering personally with the staff. Many of their accompaniments like water/drinks are self serve. During our visit, we ordered the full chicken platter in the hot flavor. This peri peri style of chicken in the hot flavor was perfectly tender, juicy and tasty. No complaints. Ranking the sides from best to worst would be the mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and then lastly the peas. Not saying the peas were not tasty, just a different take on peas. With how flavorful the chicken is, I don't see a point of using their sauces. Overall, meal was great and we will be back in the future.

Food is very delicious! If your in the mood for a good homemade, fresh plate come here.

If you like dry chicken, this is the place for you. I've been there a half dozen or more times and it is hit or miss. And the misses outweight the hits. The chicken was so dry this last time that we were unable to eat it. It was horrible. When I mentioned to a server that the chicken was dry, she just shrugged her shoulders. I won't be going back.

Excellent spot! Ordering is covid style, touch free via QR code at the table. After you get your food, had staff come multiple times to see how things were. Food is excellent. My favorite thing here is the hummus! I'd go here just to eat hummus. Best I've had anywhere. I'll be returning.

Walked in here hesitantly, not gonna lie. But, I'm a believer now. The chicken is delicious and the sides are just as good. I had a wrap, wings and the wife had a salad. Really good flavors. I love all the different flavored sauces they have.

The fam ordered totally different dishes and they where all great. Chicken was of course cooked perfectly and all the sauces you can put on them makes it even bette. But don't forget about their juices, soooooo good.

Love the flavors and variety! It's nice being able to choose your own spice level for the peri peri chicken. Delicious! Great location, too.

Food was yummy! I ordered the Nandoca's choice for takeout and they forgot to add coleslaw to the sandwich! That was very disappointing bc I imagine the sandwich would've been way better with the coleslaw. Also had the rainbow bowl, that was very good.

Amazing service! Best peri peri chicken. The staff is great and the choice of sauces will make you lick your fingers!

Simply amazing, food, service & ambience. If you haven't already been it's a must try. The chicken is extremely flavorful, fresh. The options for the sauces are endless. The staff is engaged for the total dining experience. Thank you David for providing a great staff and outstanding food.

I love this place. Good Chicken. Good sauces. It's expensive, but not outside what you should expect from a sit down place. I highly recommend the lemonades. The staff was great to me.

This was our 3rd time since opening and was unpleasantly disappointed. Food was great, but customer service was far below expectation. Tables were dirty, order QR tab missing and not well staffed to attend to many tables.

Food was great my friend and I split the chicken burger with fries. Was greeted and sat and when ordering Juan was very helpful and thorough! Very unique and chill vibes.

I had the Nandos salad and it was wonderful! My husband had the wings and loved his as well. Next time we will probably get the chicken only as it was so moist and flavorful. The wait staff was really attentive and our waitress was so sweet. The GM even made a few stops by to see how everything was.

The food, service and the atmosphere were all good. I will be back for sure. The next time I'm in town

A man with a warm smile handed me a menu when I walked in and he said their specialty is the peri peri chicken. It comes with two sides. I got the fire-roasted corn and the red-skinned mashed potatoes. The chicken was so tender and spiced well. I got the medium so it was not hot but still well-seasoned. It was yummy. The sides were delicious as well.

3.5 stars for us. Had lunch here today with the hubby. He ordered the thigh chicken sandwich with fries and it was good. I ordered the 12 wings and cauliflower side to split with my husband. When the wings came out it was really only a serving for one person. The wings were the smallest I've ever seen. I'm not sure if I should be upset about how small these wings were or grossed out by the fact that wings in other restaurants were 2-3 times bigger than Nando's because they are pumped full of hormones. As for the taste they were okay. I'd heard great things about Nando's and was excited to try their chicken. I was expecting amazing flavors and was left underwhelmed. Perhaps peri peri chicken is just not my thing because to me it just tastes like a grilled buffalo wing since their medium and hot sauce are on the vinegary side. It won't be anything I crave for and probably will not be back to try anything else.

Waited for along time they put you on the waiting list .They had all these empty table's enough staff so really no excuse... Very disappointing ...I expected more I have upgraded my review to 5 stars! Today the service was excellent, we also got to enjoy the food

Top to bottom one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. The chicken was so moist and delicious and the sauces were incredible. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

HISPANICS NOT WELCOMED We are big fans of Nando's after tasting its chicken in other cities in the world. We visited the La Centerra location and even though they were several cabinets available, at a time when the restaurant was not crowded at all, the lady wanted to seat us (two people) in a very large table at the very back of the restaurant. We asked for a booth closer to the door, and she reacted like she was being asked for rocket science questions. Then she said "let me ask if you can be seated in a booth". The few booths that were occupied had couples of white people. It is funny how some restaurants want to 'hide' Hispanics at the back of their locations. Or maybe it is not a Nando's policy, and this African-American lady just happened to be rude. We left immediately. We will not return
