We were craving chicken, and thought of trying Nando’s and it was OK. It was very OK. Nothing to rave about as the reviews seem to talk about, and at this point, I would say that the reviews were a bit inflated, especially those who rated it high. I especially got the brussels sprouts. Thinking that they would be great based on the reviews, but I was disappointed. The coleslaw was OK. But the fries portions were pretty small. I got the chicken sandwich, which seemed really tiny, and I forgot to remove the pineapple from it. My partner got Perry Perry chicken, but in that there was a lot of like soft, uncooked, kind of meat in the chicken, which just wasn’t a great experience overall. I did like their lemon garlic herb sauce, but that was about it, and so I would consider this place average.

Some of the best grilled chicken I’ve had, in the world! The first time I went to Nandos, was in Cape Town South Africa. And I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had established locations in Houston Texas. First time going to this location, and I will absolutely be back. I had the lemon and herb half chicken with the cauliflower and the french fries, and I had a Naughty Nata (a delicious dessert) special shout out to SJ - excellent experience, thank you

Manny gave us exceptional service the moment we walked through the doors. His smile was kind and welcoming, and he was so knowledgable and well versed in the vision of where Nandos is going as well as sharing his excitement to play a part in that journey. We have two kids and don’t get to go out much and he absolutely created a memorable experience for the both of us. The food came out quickly and was delicious beyond compare. Every bite was an experience from appetizer to entree to dessert. We appreciate you, Manny, and look forward to seeing you expand out to Orange County, CA! Sincerely, Aaron & Lena Rodriguez

Google
This is our favorite peri peri chicken and overall grilled chicken restaurant in Houston. The chicken is moist, skin is super flavorful with that South African marinade, and the grill kisses the chicken with just the right amount of flame to char it. The sides are excellent, we love the Brussels sprouts, rice, and Mac n cheese. My little boys go crazy for the garlic bread. We appreciate the friendly service from Ashley and everyone there.

Google
The food was delicious. Be careful with the rainbow peri peri bowl, as the cauliflower is pickled and it’s an acquired taste (not everyone likes it). The service and atmosphere are amazing.

**A Hidden Gem: Nando’s Peri-Peri Delivers an Explosion of Flavor!** We stumbled upon **Nando’s Peri-Peri** by chance, and what a game-changing discovery it turned out to be! This Portuguese-African (Mozambique) fusion spot is nothing short of spectacular—so much so that it has instantly claimed a top spot on my list of must-visit flavor experiences. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of flame-grilled perfection filled the air, hinting at the incredible meal ahead. And let me tell you—the food did NOT disappoint. The Peri-Peri chicken? Absolutely mind-blowing. Juicy, perfectly charred, and coated in a sauce that strikes the ideal balance between heat and rich, smoky depth. Each bite was an explosion of bold, vibrant flavors that had us craving more. But the magic doesn’t stop at the chicken. The sides were just as impressive—whether it was the flavorful rice, the crisp, golden fries, or the refreshing coleslaw, everything was thoughtfully prepared and packed with taste. The variety of Peri-Peri sauces lets you dial in your preferred level of spice, from mild and zesty to full-throttle fiery. The atmosphere was casual yet inviting, and the staff made us feel right at home, ensuring we had the best possible experience. It’s rare to find a place that hits every mark—food, flavor, service, and ambiance—but **Nando’s Peri-Peri** absolutely delivers. If you’re a fan of bold, unforgettable flavors, do yourself a favor and RUN to this hidden gem. Whether you’re a spice lover or just appreciate high-quality, perfectly cooked food, Nando’s is a must-try. We came in expecting a quick bite and left with a new favorite restaurant. **Five stars, hands down!**

Google
I ordered takeaway via the app, but I’ll definitely visit the physical location next time. The ambiance was lovely, with clean tables and surroundings. The food was mostly good, except for the grilled cheese which was a bit soggy and the hummus portion was a bit small. The staff acknowledged me as soon as I walked in and organized my order immediately.

Google
My first time at Nando's since hearing about it on Kai Cenat's AMP Summer stream. I got the Peri Paradise chicken bowl with no corn. SOOOOOO FIRE! I got the Hot and Xtra Hot sauces to-go, and the flavor is immaculate. I've had bowls on rotation from Chipotle, Cava and Cabo Bob's and I'm so glad to add this one to the lineup. I CLEARED THE BOWL.

Yelp
Plenty of free parking available. Not crowded on a Saturday night. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cool and modern. At this location, you use a QR code to order and pay, and the staff will bring your food out. Water, sauces, and everything else is self service but easy to figure out. I took off one star just because some of the glasses at the water station were not clean and had streaks on them. The flavors of the chicken were amazing, and the meat was tender and juicy. The portion sizes were generous as well so this location is up there compared to other locations I've tried. Will be back!

Yelp
Nando's PERi-PERi was an okay experience overall, but I can't say it lived up to the hype. The chicken was decent, but not particularly memorable. Unfortunately, a lot of the dishes were just too salty, and the drinks leaned way too sweet for my taste. On the plus side, the ambiance is really nice--it's got a cool, laid-back vibe that's great for hanging out with friends. The location is also convenient, which is a bonus. As a casual spot, you order at the counter first and then sit down with a number. Table service is limited to them bringing out the food to you. You gotta handle the rest; silverware, condiments, drinks. In the end, it's slightly overhyped for what you actually get. Not a bad spot to check out, but don't expect anything mind-blowing.

Yelp
We both ordered the half chicken. Then proceed to try all the sauces they had there from the hottest to the least spicy. Our favorite was the garlic medium ans the xx hot sauce. Chicken was juicy. The sides we got were Portuguese rice, crispy Brussels sprouts, red skin mashed potatoes , and the Peri mac. All the sides were good but I recommend the red skin mashed potatoes and crispy Brussels sprouts to pai with the chicken. Their fries are good too. For drinks we tried hibiscus lemonade and the blood orange lemonade. Both were refreshing, I preferred the blood orange lemonade. Service was so nice to, for it being our first time there. It's a great lunch spot or dinner.

Yelp
I ate here for my lunch break and had a great experience! The staff was so kind and helpful guiding me through the menu. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were also perfectly crisp and dusted with a slightly spicy seasoning. This is a great place to grab food and catch up with friends!

Yelp
A staple place to go to if you're craving grilled chicken and love having a variety of sauces to choose from! I came about 30 min before they were about to close (so sorry), but they still were able to seat us and took care of us when needed. Even though the menu is pretty much just chicken and sides, there are still a lot of options to choose from! The chicken itself was nice and tender, and I like that you can grab as many sauces to try as you want.

Yelp
Marketing works. Went here initially for a Yelp event. When I saw the wall filled with hot, hotter and super spicy hot sauce, I knew my FIL would love it. Went for family dinner on a Friday. Used my BOGO coupons to get a couple of rainbow salads with chicken. Thanks to the Yelper who gifted me their coupon. Signed up for the Peri Perks rewards program and got another salad with a bottle of Peri-Peri sauce. Three days later, I get a call from my FIL. Guess what? He loved it and wants to go back for another chicken rainbow salad. Avocado. Pickled cauliflower. Tomato, onion and cucumber salad. Hummus. Feta. Grilled chicken. Sprinkled with a super seed crunch and served over Portuguese rice. I added salad the second time around and an order of hummus with pita and veggies while we waited for our meal. Peri-Peri, also known as the African Bird's Eye Chili, is the key to the flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken. Nando's originated in South Africa, but Peri-Peri originated in Mozambique. The chili used at Nando's reflects the blend of cultures present in these countries and now shared throughout other parts of the world. Thanks for another wonderful dining experience. We will be back again...and again.

Yelp
Update: their lunch special deal has ended, but in comes some new holiday dishes. I didn't get a chance to try them today, but they look tasty! We ordered chicken thigh skewers, half chicken, fries, and mashed potatoes. Skewers were tasty with pieces of bell pepper and onion. Mashed potatoes have pieces of red potato skin mixed in. The mango and lime sauce was sweet and tangy. The Naughty Nata egg tart is a MUST. It is a Portuguese egg tart with a hint of cinnamon flavor. Crisp pastry exterior and soft, sweet, and eggy interior. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.

Yelp
Nando's is definitely a favorite of mine in the area. The service is friendly, the music is lively, and the food is always delish. You can either order on your phone using the QR code on the tables or at the cash register. There's a bar with sauce bottles where you can bring to your table. I enjoy trying different ones each time because they are all so good. You can also get your own glasses of water and utensils at this bar. During my last visit, I was delighted to see that they have a lunch deal now! It is some of their main dishes with a drink for $12 or less. My favorites to order are the Peri Peri Chicken Bowl and 1/2 Chicken with the Lemon & Herb seasoning. And if you have room for dessert (which there is always room for), please do yourself a favor and get the Naughty Natas, their Portuguese custard tart. They are so amazing.

Yelp
I initially came here for a Yelp Elite event and decided to order some food to take for lunch. During the event I tried the Lemon Herb chicken and Mac & cheese. So I ordered the Mango chicken leg and Portuguese rice to try something different. The mango lime chicken was good but it wasn't strong in the flavor. It was not a strong mango lime flavor. I did like the rice. The portion size is a little small. I should have gotten two sides. The staff is very nice and service is excellent.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time last week after hearing all the rage about it in the UK for years and I can confirm it lives up to the hype. I really like the self serve model of the restaurant. You come in, pick your own seat and can order from the QR on the table and the food is brought to you. You are also given a plethora of sauces to try and choose from with your chicken and there's a sink by the side door to wash your hands. We got the peri peri bowl, tried the Brussel sprouts, and the huge side of fries. The bowl was flavorful, I loved all the greens and the creamy sauce it came with. The chicken was moist and juicy. The sprouts had a good roasted flavor and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. Overall the food is a 8.5/10 for me especially for a chain restaurant I was quite impressed. Will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area. The service is great and there's a ton of parking in the lot. Great for a quick casual bite.

Yelp
The US and Europe is quite familiar about Nando's the South African fast-casual chain delivering the signature peri-peri style chicken. With so many locations on the east coast in the DMV area, it was only a matter of time before they made it to Houston. Now it's here and delivering the same quality chicken I remember scarfing when I was back in Northern VA. If you like spice, go for anything that's medium or above. The chicken is fire with the smoky grilled flavor combined with the sauce you decide on. Whether you get the wings, breast, quarter legs, or sandwiches, the chicken is tender, juicy, and filled with flavor. As for sides, the mashed peas are my go-to and the chips (fries) are some of the best for a fast-casual place. The brussels sprouts and cauliflower are also good options too. Food is always fire. Only issue I've had is the service with dining here as sometimes they do forget items or servers are hard to flag down for things. I've also had a few orders where minor things are forgetten (i.e. sandwich doesn't have all the toppings, fries aren't as crispy, etc.). Make sure you speak up if they've forgot something so they can fix it. And if you're getting items for pick up, check your order before you head out as sometimes they've forgotten items/sides. Glad Nando's is in Houston finally!

Yelp
I can't for a yelp event last month and got a coupon for a BOGO entree so I came to use it. It didn't seem super full but I could tell everyone working was very busy so I did have to wait 5ish minutes to be acknowledged. I decided to just go to the counter to catch someone to order for to go and that worked. I got the rainbow bowl x 2 one hot and one garlic lemon. For to gos they direct you to a bench in front of the kitchen to wait for your order. I felt like I was in the way as this is also where the servers pick up food to run to tables. The wait wasn't long and the man who made my food was very nice. I got some extra sauce containers to go. The food was good and the toppings went well together but I wish they threw in a slice of pita bread as there was a lot of hummus in the bowl. While inside I would say the patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves, there was music with Southern African flare playing and plenty of free parking. I will be back.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the food. The chicken falls apart and we loved everything we got. They also have a full bar with a bunch of options so it was perfect for date night! The only negative I had about this place is they did forget a number of things we ordered so do not be afraid to speak up and tell them especially if you paid for it. The staff were nice and anything they forgot they fixed it right away! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
This location is near the office so we visited during lunch hour and surprisingly we were seated immediately upon entering. They have different levels sauces for you to try on the side which I liked. I ordered the apple burger which was delish. The fries were nice and crispy as well. Great atmosphere and fast service. They were out of ranch which was no biggie because the mayo made up for it. Great customer service too Next time I'll for sure be ordering the rainbow bowl!

Yelp
Just like I remember from my visit to the UK! I was so happy to hear Nando's was coming to town and finally made my way to relive the joy that is Peri Peri flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; lively music, great decor, plenty of space to where you don't feel crowded. Service was super fast and friendly. Food was excellent - everything we ordered was delicious. Standouts that I won't gatekeep: get the Halloumi Cheese Sticks and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. My mouth is watering just thinking about those and when I can have them again. Parking: ample in strip center parking lot.

Eunice V.

Yelp
Delicious food(chicken breast was a but dry and burnt, but still yummy) , fair portions, and great ambiance. Service was blegh though. Waitress could have been nicer. She was not happy we sat ourselves...but we didnt even see a sign that said to wait for hostess and when we walked in there was nobody at front, so maybe leave a clearer sign (apparently there was one at the door but somebody was kind enough to open the door for us so we obviously missed it and even the waitress said it happens very often so clearly the problem is not the guests!)

Yelp
I was welcomed with a warm & friendly smile from Glenisha as soon as I walked in & seated at my table quickly, the food came out fresh, quick & delicious, everything was perfect & the restaurant was clean & organized.

Yelp
I wish they had table service!! We went with a party of seven and because we were paying for the meal it took forever to order on a phone :/ Only other negative was the young gal who brought our food out- she would definitely be better suited for a job with no public interaction- she nearly threw the food at you and ran so fast you were chasing her to ask where your side was and she didn't know anything, including what's on the menu?? But it does get better from there- the food is quite delicious! I love the mango lime sauce on the chicken. It's a nice light flavor that marries well with the char of the skin. The corn on the cob was yummy and the brussels are so full of flavor! Definitely a good place to come as you are, chill, and have a good meal. Props to the manager too because our meal was taking longer than usual to come out and he brought out two appetizers with his apologies.

Yelp
FINALLY! I've been waiting for Nando's since moving from the UK. We're in Texas for a little while and definitely had to stop by to see if it was the same and we were not disappointed! From the lovely and beautiful decor to the music and of course the delicious food! We ordered a 1/2 chicken with chips and garlic bread and the chicken sandwich with rice and chips as well. Everything was so so good! Took us back home basically and I'm sure we'll be stopping by before we head back to Miami. We even ordered some to go right after we finished out dinner and took it back to the hotel The only thing that needs to be noted is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. They were pretty dirty, they're beautiful but definitely needed to be cleaned Otherwise everything was perfect and we hope they bring Nando's to Florida soon!
google avatar

Anthony C.

Yelp
Cool concept but the chicken for me was pretty comparable to something I could get at the grocery store as it was room temp with the Peri-Q sauce tasting like store bought bbq sauce. The star here is their grilled halloumi cheese. The side order is a healthy serving size so no need to get it as an appetizer in my opinion. As for the chili jam...think smuckers jelly w/ some pepper thrown in it.
google avatar

Yelp
Anyone from the East coast knows about Nando's Peri Peri so when I saw it was opening up in Houston, right by me, I was excited. Not for me per se because I don't eat meat, but for the folks down here to experience food I formally loved. I figured though that they would have some type of vegetarian option so I decided to go in and place a to go order. The host greeted me as I walked in and directed me to the cashier to place my order. I perused the menu and ended up getting the Rainbow Vegetarian Bowl ($13.99). I took some pictures as I waited for my food and realized how huge the space was. Plenty of seating for patrons, lots of parking out front and the service was pleasant and quick overall. I got my bowl to go but didn't fancy it much despite using most of the sauces I got. It was missing flavor and felt super bland. That's the reason for the three stars. But I'm sure a meat lover would enjoy dining here.
google avatar

Neha S.

Yelp
We were waiting to check this place. We have tried Nando's in Europe and India so wanted to try their US menu. Loved everything but would like to see some more non-alcoholic drinks. They do have various options to choose from their bar which is great. Perfect for families and on a nice day there is option to sit outside. We ordered the Peri chicken rainbow bowl and chicken sandwich which was a hit. For drinks we ordered watermelon mint lemonade. Love their Peri-peri sauce and chicken options. Will be coming back soon!!!

Yelp
Parking was a breeze! There are plenty of spaces to park, so do not fret. I ordered the 1/4 chicken mango was pretty good. Very tender and the flavors were really well dressed on the chicken while being super moist. The cauliflower was very well made and a little soft for my taste pallet. Although it was soft it was still pretty good and definitely would request again. The Mac and cheese texture was cheesy, but the pasta seemed to retain a little bit of texture. The Mac seemed to be a little squishy for my taste. The nandos sandwich lemon herb was good. Super juicy and I wish it had more slaw. The slaw and the garlic bread really complemented the chicken very well. I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Diana J.

Yelp
Inside looks like what Nandos anywhere would be like. Service was decent. Everything seemed clean for how busy it gets in and out. But my chicken was so dry. Not even a bottle of sauce was going to save it. The fries were lacking in a lot of flavor even tho you see a bunch of seasoning on it. Rest of the sides were good. Although the garlic bread sticks were not crispy. Even tho it looked like it would be with the char. I recommend going to the cinco ranch location.
google avatar

Benjamin K.

Yelp
Out and about with the Wifey and friend after church and we tried out this joint. I was real excited to try their grilled chicken sandwich. I decided on the grilled corn for my side. It was a little pricy, so I was expecting a pretty good sized sandwich. Boy was I disappointed. It was really a small sized sandwich, about the size one makes at home for lunch. So I thought, if it tastes really good, then it will still be worth it. This my second disappointment, not only was the sandwich nothing special, it was really messy and falls apart when you try to pick it up. At least I had a lot of fun trying all their different hot sauces. Medium sauce was the best!
google avatar

Yelp
When I saw we were getting Nandos, I was excited especially because I can remember how much of a staple they were when i lived overseas. I needed to try again for my memory! This new place is nice, very spacious. Easily seen from San Felipe. not easily seen from post oak. It's very beautiful inside and outside seating is a plus. The service is different- You either order everything on app or you have to get up from the table to order at the cater. We had to flag several people down for questions about the menu. We chose to order everything through the app as not to leave our table. It's a pretty simple process. I ordered a wrap and two sides. I could not customize the wrap on the app to take anything off. I also had to request for my meat to be hot after the fact. The food comes out pretty quickly. The wrap was delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts were good and the cauliflower was also pretty good. We started with halloumi sticks which I love! Also ordered a peach cocktail that was tasty and strong. Overall I can't wait to go back. There is service that delivers your food and takes plates a way. Oh ended with two desserts. That portugués tart is very much worth a try or two like did!

Yelp
I lived in Chicago for a year and that's where I became acquainted with Nandos. Chicken wings are my fav and the sides are good too. Wings are grilled so they feel less heavy than say a...Wingstop. My favorite is Mango Lime--somehow it's subtle but still bursting with flavor? The Nandos ranch is also great! We love the ride and the cauliflower, as well! Restaurant is fun and vibrant. Very clean and I like that there's a sink outside the bathroom for hand washing. Service was great in the restaurant. We ordered some to go, as well. Unfortunately, they forgot the ranch that goes with the wings in both to go orders. Regardless, I recommend this place to everyone!
google avatar

Judy C.

Yelp
Finally got to try Nandos! I personally ordered the Lemon & Herb wings starter and added two sides which was the Brussels sprouts and mac and cheese. Wings were cooked throughly and had a tiny charre. I wished it was a little more charred but that's a personal presence. The mac and cheese was creamy and the bread crumbs on top was a nice touch and crunch. Brussels were okays as well. The sauce kinda over powered everything though. Overall pricing for everything I got was a little high. But I get it, you're paying for the area as well. I will come back to try other dishes. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Restroom - clean

Yelp
We've always loved Nando's Peri Peri but after recently returning from a trip to Portugal we love it even more! It's the best peri peri chicken we have found since our travels! I love all the flavors options and heat level customizations. The sides are all amazing and a great addition to share at the table. Service is fast and friendly. Would highly recommend trying a pastel de nata on your next visit here!!

Yelp
We walked in and were greeted right away by the hostess. Option of getting seated and ordering from a QR code or walking up to the register. We sat at a table and ordered from the code. The ordering website is very easy to use. We were checked on multiple times during our visit. Everyone was very friendly and attentive (had a suspicion corporate or some higher ups were there, not sure). Food: Ordered "Chicken Breast Sandwich" Medium sauce and Hot sauce. The sandwiches were great, though we both agreed the chicken could of been bigger. By the end of the sandwich left with just bread. Fries were very good. Ordered a side of mashed potatoes as well, good flavor. Drinks: Passionfruit Frose was very good. Wished a little more in the glass but good. Overall highly recommend. The price is a little high in my opinion but if service is always that attentive, worth it. Check it out!

Yelp
Honestly this has become my favorite place to eat chicken! I had tasted it in London and when I came to Houston I had to see if it was the same and OMG ! So when you get to Nandos everything is self order , so they give you the menu sit you down and then you have to order at the register , you have to get your cutlery, the sauces and your drinks, we ordered the lemon and herb with rice and fries , honestly it's amazing if you're not good with spicy food the lemon and herb is definitely the way to go ! We also got a chicken sandwich and it is definitely the best I've had ! I really hope they open a Nandos in Florida ! The bathrooms were very nice and clean so that's also a heads-up for me, the place is good for groups too or small parties, so overall Nandos has it all

Yelp
Be careful offering on their website and picking up. We checked the receipt at pickup but didn't check the content inside the bag. Paid extra for 2 sides, then paid extra for the premium side option: brussel sprouts, and didn't receive it. By the time we realized, it was too late in the evening to drive back. Heard great things about the Brussel Sprouts though! Fries were pretty good but the Mac n cheese was bland and overcooked. Got the sweet and spicy chicken wrap which had a great flavor but barely had any chicken or filling. Felt like I was eating mouthfuls of tortilla with a side of chicken.
google avatar

Terry K.

Yelp
Absolutely love Nando's since my wife introduced it to me when I visited London with her so we were pretty excited to go to their Houston location during our trip. Everything tasted great and we went literally every day during our trip since our hotel was pretty close to it. Unfortunately I got pretty sick after eating their chicken sandwich with pineapple on it, it was the only thing I differently than my wife and our son so I'm pretty sure that's what it was. My wife contacted their location to inform them but never had back and this was a few of weeks ago Obviously this made the last few days of our trip miserable so it was pretty disappointing but nonetheless I still wish they had a location in Miami because it's soo good!

Yelp
Since they just opened recently, the service is not the best. They still have a lot of kinks to work out. Went on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm, and the place seemed busy-ish. For the first 30 minutes, they put us on an hour long waitlist saying there were no tables available. We looked around and saw multiple tables available inside and out (see pictures). We pointed it out to a different host, and they apologised and said we were given the wrong information. Sat us down on a table outside (thankfully it was breezy) and told us we can order at the counter or through the QR code at the table. Ordered the rainbow and lemon chicken bowls, as well as the livers. They came out in 20 minutes. Looked fresh and inviting, just like how we used to get them in Asia. Taste/flavours were great, and would get them again. I prefer to get mine on the extra spicy side. They also have extra sauce by the water fountain to grab. We ordered beer but again ran into confusing information among the staff members when we finally were able to order after another 20 minutes. Then they served a small portion in a water glass and charged $8. The food price was alright, but the fountain drinks for two plus the beer cost over $14. I'll stick to still water next time. Would be visiting again. Recommend proper staff training and reviewing pricing for beverages.

Yelp
The food here is delicious, and the price is right imo. The menu has a great selection of tasty items and everything we've ordered is quite flavorful. Location is great, lots of parking, and plenty of seating inside and out. Im not a fan of the staff or how the ordering takes place. It's a bit confusing--we've come in a handful of times and left because we weren't sure what to do. There wasn't a hostess or any apparent sign to guide us. We eventually figured out that it's counter service. The staff could definitely use some social training.

Yelp
Food was just okay. Was semi-excited to try Nando's after having a great experience in Washington DC years ago but sad to say probably not worth it as far as this location. For $15 you can get a single piece of chicken and two sides but the portions are quite small and service is lacking a lot. The servers that were there were very nice but they just look understaffed. They do have the option to order via QR code at the bar which is nice/quick if you are interested in just getting food fast.

Yelp
I can't believe this hasn't caught on everywhere. Ok, food is delicious but the real star is the sauce!! There was a plethora of options and the garlic was my favorite.

Yelp
Exceptional service! Angela greeted us and made us feel welcome. We were given a rundown of how the concept works and were given great service throughout our experience here. Highly recommend. Chicken Caesar wrap was incredible!

Yelp
After a long day of shopping on a Sunday we were looking for a place that closes a little later than usual. And found Nando's to be one of two places we wanted to try. Coming into the restaurant it was a bit confusing. I saw peeps ordering at a counter, but also the sign says please wait to be seated. After doing so someone came by and sat us near the restrooms not the best location in the world. But it's ok. He told us some recs, and afterwards he told us we could order from the online portal or go up to the counter. We were confused so we chose the counter. After getting there a really nice woman person helped us choose some of our plates and also, let us taste the lavender lemonade which we ended up ordering the lavender was so subtle but ended up making the lemonade taste so good! We also ordered a fountain drink too but it was a mistake for us because they did not have ice in their ice machine sadly. She was sweet and very helpful. The food overall was super good the other guy did warn the wings were tiny, which they were but their lemon and herb flavor packed such a punch. The hummus was given to us with this oil flavoring, which was so delicious. We only got the bread cuz getting veggies costed more. The sauces that they had out tasted delicious and bright! I'm glad those were out so we got to taste them together. I'm a big sauce fan. If you're looking for a casual place to eat with good chicken, I'd take a look at this place

Yelp
Aside from the long wait times, I still would not recommend this restaurant. I hadn't heard of the hype beforehand and was mainly excited to try a new chicken restaurant with spicy options. We probably waited 45 minutes for our takeout order. I tried to keep myself entertained with the sauce station for as long as possible, and eventually poured myself a container of each sauce option. We ordered the 1/2 chicken, livers, and natas (portugese egg custard tarts). The chicken was pretty on par with any other rotisserie chicken. The spice was nice, but I wouldn't be able to identify it as Nando's if I were blindfolded. The chicken livers were completely plain and the sauces did just a little bit to help with the dryness and flavor. The egg tart was dry as well.

Yelp
Embarking on a Nando's lunch based on a recommendation, we cautiously set our expectations low - a strategic move that proved unnecessary. The establishment, upon closer inspection, reveals thoughtful architectural design. Remarkably, the staff effortlessly managed our sizable party of 13 in the midst of a bustling atmosphere, securing us a seat promptly. The point-of-sale system streamlined our phone orders, ensuring a swift arrival of our delectable dishes. Exploring the usual favorites and exchanging bites, we discovered a symphony of flavors, elevated by the truly remarkable sauces. Nando's has earned its place as a regular Sunday haunt, ideal for casual business lunches. Surprisingly, the pricing is fair, considering its affluent location. I wholeheartedly recommend it, puzzled by any contrary past reviews. Kudos to the consistently accommodating staff across the board!

Yelp
Speaking only on their vegetarian options: their fries and rice are delicious! I wish there was a vegan burger alternative, but the sauces they offer are always delicious. I also appreciate that the pick up process is quite smooth.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner on Friday evening around 5:30pm. There is plenty of parking since it's in a huge outlet area. The inside is also large with lots of seating, plus outdoor seating. The vibes and decor are really nice and you can tell it's new. The way to order is scanning a QR code and order with your table number. It's okay, but I do wonder about people without phones lol. We got our food pretty quickly and it was good. The hallumi was the best part in my opinion! Fries with ranch were also good. I thought our chicken wings in medium sauce were just okay. It was also a little more on the pricey side for us. Overall a good experience though!

Yelp
We were excited to try this new restaurant as we have driven by it several times. Upon walking in there was nobody to greet us. I asked someone walking by and she completely ignored us. Finally after others were waiting behind us she came over and was not nice, had a scowl look on her face like we were bothering her and started walking off so we followed her. She barked the ordering process on the Q-card or get up & go to the register. I immediately said to my dinner companion how rude she was to us. There were no glasses at the self-serve water area across from us so we flagged down another person and she went to get some. We ordered after using the Q-card and waited for our food. The lettuce on my salad could definitely have been fresher, but the chicken breast was so dry I simply could not eat it. The Nando chicken sandwich was quite skimpy in size and the red skinned mashed potatoes were tasteless. No red skin on them at all so weird to call them red skinned mashed potatoes. I watched an employee wipe down the counter after she replenished the assorted Peri Peri sauces in the tall glass bottles. I found it interesting that she did not wipe each of the outside bottles down. So many people touching those self-serve bottles, a clean wipe in between during the evening would certainly not have taken her very long to enhance cleanliness. We were not happy with the lack of greeting, service and food...we won't be recommending nor will we return...not worth it!

Yelp
finally a nando's in houston! I love the various chicken options you can pick from + the sides. The ordering system is basically self order on your phone with a QR code or you order at the counter. I also love how there's more sauces at the counter so you can dip your chicken in it if it's a little bland for you.

Yelp
I can't believe we have a Nando's in Houston! I fell in love with their food during my time in the UK. Located in the river oaks area this place brings new flavor to the restaurant scene. The service is quick and efficient. It's a casual dining experience. It's perfect for a quick, flavorful, healthy-ish meal. The food is absolutely amazing! The chicken is grilled to order. That chargrilled flavor is so unique and delicious. I love trying all of the different flavor combinations with the signature peri peri sauces. The sides are equally amazing. It's hard to come here and have the same meal twice! There's so much to try. If you are looking to add some spice to your next chicken meal try Nandos! Also get the macho peas! Who knew a pea could taste so golden

Yelp
I have been to this Nando's a handful of times and it is consistently dirty and run confusingly. You can either order at the counter or use a QR code? Today I went in and it was freezing and I asked the hostess if she could turn the heat up. She just looked at me condescendingly and said "nooo, here's your menu" and walked off. Not sure I'll ever be back.

Yelp
We were super excited to try this place as I had heard such great things from friends and family that have tried some of their locations outside the US. The first time we went there their ac broke down so they politely asked all the customers waiting in line to leave. The next time we came here we invited a couple of friends to come along. We ordered their family platter with a side of fries, rice and mashed potatoes. We also ordered their chicken liver, and their mango gelato and naughty nats for dessert. The food took some time to come out but we were patiently waiting for it. We tried their fries first and they weren't bad. Next we tried their whole chicken and were just not impressed by it. We ordered them in medium heat but it lacked a lot of flavor and it was dry. We were expecting them to be juicy and have some good flavor but this was just not it. Same goes for their chicken skewers. Their chicken liver was also okay. The only thing that did not disappoint was their mango gelato, that dessert was surely good. I may give this place a try again and see if our experience is better than the one we had.

Yelp
Got the rainbow bowl The piece of chicken I got was so unreasonably small. I can't justify going back. It said a chicken breast., more like 1/3 of a chicken breast. No joke it was maybe five bites in the chicken was all gone. A place that has chicken in its name they sure are stingy with it.
