Nanoosh - Review - New York - The Infatuation

"A name that’s fun to say, plus healthy Mediterranean food. Nanoosh has a big menu of protein plates, salads, and wraps, all of which are enjoyable. They also have plenty of vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, everything-free options. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

"This Manhattan mini-chain specializes in healthful, Mediterranean food and is particularly convenient for lunch if you work in the area. Unlike the delis and salad bars you’ll find on every corner, the focus here is on mostly organic, impeccably sourced foods, meaning there's no mystery surrounding the origin or freshness of your salad, sandwich, or soup."

I have a love and hate feeling with this specific location. While their service is super fast - from the order to the delivery it takes no time - I just can’t deal with the poor customer service. More often then not I asked for a “to stay” and I am given a bag. I have a feeling they look at patrons as numbers. I used to go to the seventh ave location (no closed, sigh) and despite they were super slow, they were nice, they remembered my name, noted I was always going there and always share a smile. In terms of “getting your food and get back to work” it’s perfect, yet I have a thing for the human component. All time favorite: chicken avocado wrap. The best 471 calories ever created. Healthy and filling.

Really liked it. Cauliflower carrot soup was tasty. I liked the hummus bowl with chicken. The chicken and toppings were quite tasty. Wish the hummus had more zing like garlic or lemon. Great homemade mint iced tea. Fast and healthy. I'll be back.

As far as a quick service Mediterranean place goes, it doesn't get much better than Nanoosh. Short of going to an actual Turkish restaurant and getting the real thing, this place tops the list for me - (yes, even better than Cava). My go-to dish is usually: Rice as the base + Chicken Shawa or Mediterranean Beef + Hummus + Feta Cheese + Tzatziki Sauce (on the side) + Whole Wheat Pita Bread. The service is pretty quick - but they also have online ordering which you can do ahead of time. I wish they had some type of rewards program, because I come here multiple times a week. Get to it, Nanoosh! :)

Relaxed lunch spot. good seating and pretty healthy food, which is also tasty. I like the chicken shawa over the salads. there are many veggie options, many of which change seasonally. Free lemon water! The hot sauces are good and have distinctive flavors (I prefer the red one).

I tried this place for the first time and Placed the order of powerfood plate through ritual app. The place was good and neat and also I got my order on time but something wasn’t right with the food. I got upset stomach after eating their food. It’s a big negative point if the food is causing health trouble. Bad experience!

Good Vegetarian food at reasonable price. Place was clean and tidy with efficient service.
