The 14 Best Restaurants At San Francisco International Airport - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The welcomed alternative to mini-marts selling skeptical-looking pre-made sandwiches is Napa Farms Market. This deli and grab-and-go marketplace is always the answer for quick-hit salads, sandwiches, and soups that do the seasonal California thing well. They also highlight local brands, like Equator coffee, Acme breads, Cowgirl Creamery cheeses, and more. The cold cases and shelves are stocked with wraps, crackers, jams, and chocolates—basically, everything you could want for a makeshift picnic in close proximity to emotional support dogs or shoeless couples." - julia chen 1, lani conway, ricky rodriguez

The Best Restaurants, Bars, and Cafes at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) | Eater SF

"A Tyler Florence–backed to-go spot with a sizable pizza and rotisserie selection, ideal for assembling a mini-picnic from Bay Area purveyors. Recommended items and local brands to look for include Acme Bread, Cowgirl Creamery cheese, Tcho Chocolate, pastries, Kara’s Cupcakes, and local microbrews; the shop is also billed as a good place to pick up last-minute Bay Area food gifts like coffee beans and wine. Travelers headed abroad can find an outpost in International Terminal G, there is a post-security retail location in Terminal 2, and a third terminal location is noted as on the way." - Dianne de Guzman

The Best Restaurants, Bars, and Cafes at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) - Eater SF

"With its sizable pizza and rotisserie selection, this Tyler Florence-backed to-go spot has plenty of satisfying hot options. The really clutch move, however, is to make yourself a mini-picnic with Acme bread, Cowgirl Creamery cheese, Tout Sweet pastries, and a local microbrew. It’s also a great place to pick up last-minute Bay Area food gifts for friends, including wines. Good news, travelers headed abroad: Napa Farms is now open in the International Terminal, too." - Eater Staff

Google
Had bagel and cappuccino. Delicious bagel. Friendly and quick service. Cappuccinos are always too hot to drink right away, but use Equator coffee and very good.

Google
I dont think i could have made a worse salad if i tried. No chance any human tasted this before putting it out to sell. Dry, rubbery chicken. Thick dry kale and just enough tasteless seasoning to cover maybe 10% of the salad, so your essentially just eating raw kale which cost $20.

Google
This is not your average airport deli. The food is undeniably good and the service is attentive and welcoming. Carina was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the menu. Will definitely come back!

Google
Nice market - good products - of course at airport prices. But they also charge bogus fees! They just add a $2 service charge to your bill and then also ask for a tip. When I asked what that is they said they have to charge it. When I insisted to know what the charge is for they said for the airport. Call me petty. But I am tired of being charged without notice. JUNK FEES! I shall not come back and make sure people know.

Got coffee and pastries before a flight early morning on a Thursday. The cashier was super friendly and we tipped in advance for our coffees. After we paid, I noticed the cashier forgot to add something to my order. I notified the barista with the short hair and she straight up ignored me. When she handed me my coffee, she gave me what I asked for so she did hear me. What was her problem? I don’t know why she acted that way or what insecurities to ignore me as we did not interact at all before that. Equator coffee is usually high end and tastes great but that wasn’t the case here. Will probably go to another place when I’m traveling for work and pleasure.

Google
Ordered a sandwich and it came without avocado and sauce, both of which were listed on the menu. I asked for these to be added and while one of the staff was happy to help me (one star for them), another rolled their eyes and told me everything was in the sandwich already (which was very obviously false). When I got the sandwich back it was in this state. One star for the sandwich technically being edible but just… do better.

Google
Huge prices for minimal items!! A skimpy sandwich $15 plus they expect tips when automatically added!!! Airport rip-off taking advantage of money grubbing opportunities from weary travelers.

Google
Its a nice shop to grab some quick snack and coffee when you are in hurry and didn’t get chance to eat something from outside the Airport. I felt everything is so expensive here, even regular bottled water. If you are regular flyer at San Francisco airport it’s better to eat something from outside.

Yelp
We were passing through SFO on a layover and needed to grab something to eat. Napa Farms Market was a convenient place to grab something to go. They have pre-made options or items made to order. We opted for a turkey sandwich and used the self check-out option to quickly head to our next gate. The turkey sandwich was fine- your typical airport food. It wasn't insanely priced, though, which was nice. I think it cost $15. Comes with condiments and helped tide us over for the next flight!

Yelp
It's a treat to get to order Tony's pizza by the slice with no wait. I've been twice and both times the pizza was great and $11 is a fair price for the size and quality. Delicious! One complaint- some drinks are way overpriced. GT's kombucha was $10, something grocery stores usually sell at $4 to $5.

Yelp
Buying food at the airport is always a challenge. You know you are going to have to pay a lot of money, and even if you pay, the food is often a disappointment. Eating places in an airport know they have a captive audience. I've flown through SFO many times, but always on United, but today I flew Alaska Airlines, so I was in a different terminal, and it was like being in a foreign land. Walking around Terminals 1 and 2, I was pleasantly surprised at all the seating areas and businesses. In looking for a place to buy something to eat, I turned to Yelp to check out various places. Napa Farms Market looked inviting and the reviews were promising too. I ended up buying a cup of clam chowder and a couple of sandwiches. My husband really enjoyed the roasted cauliflower sandwich and I also liked my Diestel Organic Turkey sandwich. The clam chowder was okay but I didn't even finish the cup. Just the 2 sandwiches and the cup of chowder was over $50! Expensive, but worth the money. So if I find myself back in this terminal, I'll go back again for seconds. Tip- ask them to cut your sandwich in half. They are big and so you can save half for the plane.

Yelp
Arrived tired and hungry at Terminal 2 around 9:30pm on a Sunday. Napa Farms Market was open....cue the fireworks! LOVE their vast array of local gourmet goodies! Bummer that the hot food section wasn't open, but it was late so we get it. I bought a cheese plate and my tired eyes didn't see the price until check-out. $18+tax! Seemed a little steep for what I got, but alas, airport prices! The score of my visit was the kale/quinoa salad. Delicious, nutritious, and satisfying. Napa Farms Market still reigns supreme among airport eateries!

Yelp
A hidden gem at SFO! I have come here a handful of times over the years and food is always great and tasty. There's a wide variety of sandwiches, pastries and desserts to choose from. Their coffee hit the spot! Excellent service too! Shout out to Carina who remembered my name from a few months ago. It was a pleasant surprise! It's such a small thing but it really made my day that little bit nicer.

Diane K.

Yelp
Warning to vegans: food marked vegan that contains honey! I was really happy to find a vegetable wrap with red pepper hummus clearly marked "vegan" here. I didn't notice till after I'd eaten it on the plane that it contains honey, which many people don't consider to be vegan. I'm disappointed that this was mislabeled, and hope they change that ingredient or the label going forward. It tasted good, but was frustrating that so little care had been taken in the labeling. I did try calling and got no answer, and the website listed here wasn't loading, so this seems to be my only option to reach them.

Yelp
I got a fresh smoothie, score. They have coffee, pastries, smoothies, juices, sandwiches, bagels and even a yogurt bar. They literally have something for everyone. Coffee skews a bit bitter. Prices, as to be expected are high. Even a few dollars higher than other spots, but I think it's a step up. And, it's the airport and again, seemingly the food in here is fresh. Definitely a step up!
google avatar

Sunil R.

Yelp
This is a great store and much better than the typical airport store. They have an awesome deli, lot of ready-to-go options, great snacks and fresh juices. The strawberry and banana shake with extra protein and the hummus wrap were great. Two thumbs way up!

Noreen B.

Yelp
I ordered a loaf of cranberry walnut bread before ultimately deciding I wanted to exchange it for a small sourdough loaf. I don't understand how I only received $7.98 credit, when I paid $18.33 for the cranberry loaf and after tax, the small sourdough was $7.98. My refund should have been $10.35, but they kept the tax AND the employee benefits fee. I feel extremely disappointed and ripped off.

Yelp
Basically stopped at the 1st place that sold coffee and pastries. Bought cup of regular coffee and a plain croissant both good. The line in front is long but if you go inside there is another area to order steel cut oats and pastries, or sandwiches and at the time there was one person in line. You can also use the kiosk for ordering but didn't do this as I didn't see list of pastries .

Yelp
This review is for the Napa Farms Market location inside SFO Terminal 2 (Domestic) in the hallway before you reach Gates D1-D18. There's another location inside SFO Terminal G (International) in the hallway before you reach Gates G1-G14. These are the only two locations. This brand/concept is exclusive to San Francisco International Airport. My wife and I picked up a couple Diestel Organic Turkey Breast sandwiches ($17.00 each) and a couple bags of "Dirty" Deli Style Potato Chips in Funky Fusion flavor ($4.95 per bag). After SFO employee benefits (5.00%), tax, and tip, it cost almost $60 for two sandwiches and two bags of chips. That's today's pricing and airport pricing for you. The sandwiches hit the spot before we boarded our flight back home. Diestel Family Ranch is known for their high-quality turkeys that are "regeneratively" raised in Sonora, California, not far from the Bay Area. Napa Farms Market's turkey sandwich came with harvarti cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and honey dijon mustard on Acme ciabatta bread. The sandwiches were fresh, filling, and delicious. The ingredients were flavorful and well-balanced, and the Acme bread was quality too. I'm not sure how to describe the Dirty Funky Fusion chips other than to say they were super tasty and extra crunchy. They may be too intense for some people, but my wife and I liked them a lot. Our server was Sweh Z and she was great. Polite and efficient. Napa Farms Market has multiple counters for different things. Hot breakfast food, soups, sandwiches, pizza, coffee, and more can be ordered in the back. We stood in a small line that moved fast. We got our sandwiches in about 10-15 minutes after getting in line. The sandwiches were premade and on display in a glass case by the registers. We were able to get our bread toasted by request which Sweh took care in doing by separating the ingredients. We appreciated that because it made a difference. In addition to the above, Napa Farms Market serves bagels 5:30am-11:00am daily, has a yogurt and granola bar, sells Equator Coffees (from Marin County) and more. They also have limited dedicated on-site seating. It's a nice little market for the airport. Napa Farms Market is operated by California-based Tastes On The Fly. Tastes On The Fly operates several restaurants, bars, cafes, markets, etc. at the SFO, Boston Logan, Denver International, JFK, and Vancouver International airports.

Yelp
This place is delicious even tho a bit overpriced on some of the drinks but man having wood fired pizza at the airport is amazing and gluten free it's so good! They have such amazing sweet staff and the place is nice to sit and relax!
google avatar

Darlene M.

Yelp
Hella expensive airport food, which is to be expected. I bought a sandwich, bottled lemonade, and granola yogurt to ensure I didn't get hungry on the plane. I spent about $30+. I took advantage of self serve and self checkout. It was an easy process with bags, straws, utensils and other items nearby.

Yelp
Napa farms market @sfo internal airport by terminal 2. Great customer service Carina and Almira. foods, coffee and pastries are reasonably priced
google avatar

Justice K.

Yelp
I had a very sad $17 breakfast sandwich here before my 5 hour flight to New York. The bagel sandwich was dry and flavorless. The price wasn't the issue, so much as the poor quality of food they put out. One could have easily purchased a better frozen breakfast at any grocery store. Waste of money. I saw $10 kombucha that quite literally made my jaw drop. You can get that for $3.99 at Target. In the future, will prioritize making a trip to the grocery store the night before flights out of SFO to spare my wallet.

Yelp
Solid place in the airport to get some food. Napa Farms Market has coffee, premade salads and sandwiches, chips, and other miscellaneous food items you might need before your flight. I got the Muffaletta sandwich, warmed. It was pricey ($17 before tax), but everything in the airport is expensive. It was actually really good for an airport sandwich. It had a substantial amount of meat packed into it (salami, prosciutto, and pepperoni from what I could identify), provolone, and some olive tapenade (an olive paste). I found the sandwichto be filling, and it made for a great pre-flight meal. The meat was pleasantly spicy, the bread was soft and chewy, and the olive tapenade added a nice salty flavor. If you've waiting for a flight in SFO Terminal 2, consider stopping by Napa Farms Market to fuel up for your journey ahead.
google avatar

Winston L.

Yelp
Been to Napa Farms quite a few times for breakfast since airport food is more miss than hit. Had the bacon, egg, & cheese on a toasted everything bagel. Not particularly interesting, but it's solid, warmed to the right temperature, and made with fresh ingredients. Nothing more, nothing less. It's $17.31 after tax, before tip - so typical airport food value. The BLT piqued my interest and if I was in a more daring mood, I would have ordered that (bacon, lettuce, tomato with chilli jam).

Yelp
I wish I had taken some pictures. This was the San Francisco Airport. It was like an old original New Seasons Market. Just fresh everything everywhere. Made and ready for you to eat. Cheaper than most airport restaurants. Exactly what I needed something fast good and ready to go. Multiple stations ready to take care of you and serve you. All the staff were super friendly. I mean what is going on in this place? Not nearly like your typical airport workers that are clearly not happy to be there and don't care how long the line is. Just a vast array of selections from small portions to larger. Vegetable to meat and some stuff in between. Brightly lit and well organized as you walk around. I don't remember any plastic bottles all the newish aluminum bottle which you could refill nearby. Fast easy check out as there are multiple cashier's in the store. Kind of an Oasis in a airport.
google avatar

Zak R.

Yelp
Painfully slow coffee for an airport. We waited 20 minutes with a number of others who also didn't know why no drinks were coming out. The latte was also sub par. I recommend getting a caffeinated beverage elsewhere. Btw there are none further down in the D gate area. Perhaps a captive audience is what prevents the baristas from elevating their game.
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
Great food. Slow but great service. Hi quality food! Loved the breakfast burrito! Unfortunately, no bottles in this airport to take onboard the plane...
google avatar

Alan R.

Yelp
This is one of those great places you don't expect to find in the airport foods maybe not as good as outside the airport but great opportunity to get some decent food when you're on the go
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Surprising good. Tell me a place that serves 1lb 15.5 oz salad for $12.95! Is it better than that sushi place (Tomo...)? I don't know. But to see your picky kid go to town on the salad before chowing down 2 slices is "worth not having sushi". Also the whole family got fed so, we'll done NFM. Well done. Also it's from Napa...? Almost 5 stars!
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Smallest most expensive breakfast burrito I've had in my life. $15 and they want a tip. And a $5+ water to go with it. Crazy times.
google avatar

Adina S.

Yelp
Overall, this isn't anything to write home about, but it's very convenient. My friend and I didn't have much time to grab food after our flight, so we settled on Napa Farms Market for a quick bite. They had a handful of prepared food items, including sandwiches and salads, so that was just what we needed. Given I was just doing grab and go with self-checkout, I did not interact with the staff too much, but it seemed like there were people available if you needed some help. The market itself is spacious and clean, with lots of options. Had we had more time, I might have considered the pizza station. Just about everything here seemed to be overpriced, but that's airports... especially in San Francisco. Don't expect top quality food, but do expect easy and fast!
google avatar

Gabriel S.

Yelp
Had the napa cubano sandwich. It was decent. The bread was hot & fresh. The roasted pork was kind of pedestrian & the other toppings were decent. They also have pizza, cold sandwiches & cake slices here.

Paul M.

Yelp
My wife bought a plain bagel with cream cheese and a bottle of water before our morning flight from SFO. She was well taken care of by their staff.
google avatar

Janice O.

Yelp
What a wonderful place to have at the airport. From coffee and bakery items, to sandwiches and other build your own snacks, to bottles of wine. I got in line for coffee because there wasn't a line. Also bought an already made sandwich which was still tasty when I finally ate it many hours later. Pumpkin bread was delicious. Then when I came back from my trip, bought a good iced matcha latte. Everyone who assisted me were friendly. There is a little seating inside the store which is bright. Thank you for being my go-to place without realizing it.

Patricia C.

Yelp
Sadly, I was hoping to leave a better review. I travel often and usually have bfast at the airport. Last week I was at SFO and looked for what I thought would be a healthy fresh option. $27.00 for a cup of coffee and bfast that was terrible. not a fresh breakfast,, seems just re-heated... The potatoes were literally dry and hard. The eggs were stuck to the paper you warm them up in and the bacon was also dry and greasy... the intention is for you to perhaps be aware so that you can make some changes.. I would not eat there again. None of the items seemed at all fresh.

Terrill M.

Yelp
After long international flight, stopped in for a quick smoothie and parfait. Parfait was ok but the smoothie was either blended way too much or started out as nearly water with some Pina colada like flavoring at almost $20 with tax for just the smoothie. Terrible!
google avatar

Eva G.

Yelp
I'm always traveling and in and out of airports. I don't know why but todays experience here was ok. I know they can be better than this. The food was ok.

John M.

Yelp
Olivia B was fabulous. She helped me get through the checkout line quickly. Great attitude and helpful. Made my day brighter
google avatar

Krysten H.

Yelp
Being gluten free and finding quick food at the airport is normally very difficult for me, but not here. Really great quality food for the airport, I got the breakfast plate and my partner got a breakfast burrito. Glad to have something in the airport for a quick meal that isn't fast food, food came out quickly and staff were very friendly.
google avatar

Gizmo G.

Yelp
Food is super fresh and good. Area is clean and a lot of choices of healthy food. I ordered 2 kinds of sandwiches and a cup of clam chowder. My server Olivia B is super nice, friendly and very helpful. Over all service is good as well as the coffee shop. I will definitely come by again whenever I use terminal 2 for my flights. I recommend to everyone.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
For airport breakfast the bagels are excellent, with a generous spread of quality cream cheese. And they have Model Bakery English muffins! Service is quick, at least for bagels, can't speak to the rest of the counters.. Ambiance is very modern Napa Valley contemporary so they definitely live up to their name there. And pricing, well, it's an airport?
google avatar

Charles L.

Yelp
We stopped in here for a snack before our flight. This is an amazing market, right in the middle of SFO. There is a huge selection of goods, different cheeses, baked goods , chips, snacks, drinks, even a whole island of chocolate varieties. What amazing place. By the way, we did not get a bottle of wine for the flight...
google avatar

Ace Lasalle G.

Yelp
thank you for the most efficient and friendly service Girlie and Rosalia! Outstanding service from a very stressful environment.
google avatar

T. Z.

Yelp
Great service! Sarina was the best--super helpful & friendly. Food is great too and it's a fun place to wait for a flight.

Richard D.

Yelp
Girlie Very good service thanks for helping me. For my question being answered and for the drinks that is delicious it's a 5 star Service
google avatar

Ken B.

Yelp
The kindness of the cashier was over the top. I asked on the off chance if they had masks for sale. She told me they didn't but she gave me one. I forgot mine in the car and this random act of kindness is greatly appreciated. I almost always fly in Delta and there you are in terminal 2. Customer forever! Thanks again to the cashier.
google avatar

Mar S.

Yelp
Very tasty healthy food choices. A bit overpriced though. I think it has a nice wide selection of items including sweets and chocolates!!
google avatar

Glen B.

Yelp
Even correcting for airport and California market, this is beyond price gouging for subpar Panera. 130.00 got me 2 decent roast beef and cheddar sandwiches, one 7-11 grade, prepackaged ham and cheese, one turkey sandwich, 2 bags of chips, sodas, a cookie and a rotting, inedible fruit cup. Passable sustenance for a single or couple. Avoid if traveling with family.
google avatar

Teresa G.

Yelp
I was early for my flight from SFO to PDX. Was feeling somewhat hungry and looked around the D gates in Terminal 2 of SFO Airport. Most of the places around did not have good reviews. I opted to get a Cheese & Charcuterie Platter from Napa Farms Market. It was fresh, packaging was great and service was fast and efficient. There's a wide variety of choices both in the chilled section and there's hot food at the back of the market too.
google avatar

Maryam B.

Yelp
It was my first time here . The customer service not good. I went to the section where you can order pizza . There were 2 young women standing behind the counter . One of them looked at me , I said hi , do I need to order here ? She rolled her eyes and continued talking to the other woman . The other woman didn't even turn back . After 2-3 minutes the other woman came and said what do you want ? And I said well I want to order a pizza . My food was ready in 5 min . Pizza was terrible. So salty and the bread was just raw. Like lots of cheese on the top of raw bread dough and 2-3 spoons of salt . And the price was $26 . I was not expecting to have a pizza from 5 star restaurant but at least I was expecting something eatable. I will never go back there to order pizza or any sandwiches. I might go back just for a soda or water .
google avatar

Julia C.

Yelp
My Simply Italy Pizza was delicious. Airport prices, $20 for a personal pizza, but at least the quality is high. Pizza availability starts at 10am and takes about 15 min.
google avatar

Apit L.

Yelp
Very nice last minute shopping goodies. They have just about everything you need... Sandwiches, baked goods, wine and spirits... Including fresh fruit and water. Very pricey though but that's expected at the San Francisco international Airport. Service: A + Quality: A Price: $$
google avatar

Kath S.

Yelp
A nice place to grab some food before your flight. They have sandwiches, pizza, soup and salad and so much more. You can order it to go or you can dine in. Staff are pleasant and nice. I ordered a veggie pizza and it was good enough. I like that it is thin crust.
google avatar

Paulette C.

Yelp
Although expensive, it was a nice glass of Chardonnay and a nice getaway from waiting for our plane at the gate.
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
My partner and I will no longer be continuing business here. We have frequented happily since the day it opened but prices have gone up on the sandwiches to nearly 19 DOLLARS FOR A CAULIFLOWER SANDWICH. It is absolutely upsetting and there is honestly no excuse for it. 12-15 dollars for an airport sandwich was almost reasonable. This is asinine and they should be ashamed of themselves. I rarely leave reviews and this is the perfect reason to do so. Shame on you, Owners.
google avatar

Betsy W.

Yelp
Good pre-flight breakfast options for decent price, friendly folks at food counter, good (but pricey) plane snacks
