Whether you’re going for lunch or dinner, Napa Valley Burger Company will not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Lucas, who was courteous, professional, and truly set the tone for a great meal. We decided to try the Turkey Swiss Avocado Burger which was a delightful combination of flavors—the juicy turkey patty complemented by the creamy avocado and melted baby Swiss cheese made each bite satisfying. The Fish Tacos were fresh and well-prepared, a great option for seafood lovers. The Waffle Fries—crispy, golden, with melted jack and cheddar cheese. With ranch dressing on the side, I just kept going at it. The restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere with excellent food and service. If you're in the area and craving a great burger or some delicious comfort food, Napa Valley Burger Company is definitely worth a visit!

The food was ok. The burger and fries were delicious. Our son did not like the chicken fingers. They were not fresh. Tasted like they were frozen. Two children thought the grilled cheese was ok. They were prepared on burger buns. One son had the kids burger and was happy. The golden margaritas are strong and delicious. The restaurant was very busy during lunch. The ambiance is kind of a pub like feel. The service was fast and friendly.

This is one of the better dining options in Sausalito. Having said that, the food is good, but not amazing. We just wanted something super quick after having biked a good 5 miles, so we were just glad to get a seat. We sat at the bar. The bartender was pretty nice. We ordered a beer and a sangria. The sangria was delicious. I always rate my sangrias based on how much wine I taste, the less, the better because it means the drink is smoother. This one hit the mark there for sure. The food was just ok. We got their yountville burger and the fish tacos. The plates were big. The burger had bacon along with the usual suspects. Most of the plate was occupied by the salad. The burger was decent, just like any other burger. We didn't finish the whole thing because of how large the portion was. The fish taco plate came with 2 fish tacos and a big salad. The tacos were ok. There was a large piece of grilled fish with avocados. Between the two, the tacos were definitely better. They were difficult to eat because of how big the tacos were. These tacos are nowhere close to the real authentic tacos you'd get in San Diego but they were good enough. Salsa did not have any salt in it so it was disappointing. Pricing wise, the whole check is on the higher end of the range for what we ate, but that is Sausalito for you!

(Whiskey Burger) & garlic fries First time visiting this restaurant and this was such a great find. I ordered the whiskey burger and had it cooked to a medium rare. It was definitely a different taste, but so so so good. The fries were cooked to perfection. It had the right level of crunch. The service was great. I csmt remember the young manes name, but to be honest, this young man should be the manager. He was so attentive to us and everyone else he was serving. Bathrooms were very clean, and the restaurant had such a good relaxing vibe. This will be a place I will be visiting with guests or alone 👍🏿

My family and I stopped here for lunch and were greeted and seated quickly. I ordered a mojito, which was very good, and shared a fish and chips. My husband got the Sausalito buger, which he said was very good but very messy, lol.

Rather tasty food. I was visiting Sausalito for a bit and decided I wanted to grab food before heading back onto the road. The menu and pictures I saw of this place sold me. I do CA would get with it and just sell fries with a burger or sandwich, but they seemingly make you get them on the side everywhere you go. The fries were perfectly cooked, and had great flavor. The burger was nice and juicy. Service was outstanding even though it was close to closing time.

Great service and amazing foods. No wonder my friends told me that this place is must-visit-level.

The food is not only incredibly delicious but also incredibly tender. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every dish. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place.

This review is for the food only. The yountville burger was cooked to perfection and juicy. The truffle fries were a little overwhelming but still good. My only issue is that the burger didn't already come with fries. If I'm paying $20 for a burger it better come with fries lol. First and last time. But thank you staff for a tasty meal.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon. The staff was kind by providing a high chair for the baby, and a very nice small. The inside is pretty load though. I was pretty happy with my bacon burger. However they did not have a kids menu, and the little sandwich that I shared with the baby was spicy and made the baby very angry. This little incident made the whole experience unhappy. I would suggest to add a kids menu. Also the restaurant does not have any signal, either tmobile or verizon. I would suggest to have a guest wifi. My wife's James beard burger, and she complained her sandwich was a bit heavy without any acid to balance the taste. Overall, we probably would not go there again.

I love this place!!! I visited Mill Valley and stopped by this place for late lunch. The fish for the fish and chips was so fresh and the fries were delicious. Also, The Yountville burger was so juicy and with great flavors. In terms of the service, the staff was sweet and the food came out pretty fast for how busy it was. Overall giving this place solid 9/10!

I am visiting from Houston and decided to take the ferry across from San Francisco to Sausalito. We stopped by the Napa Valley Burger Company. It was pretty empty but that did not deter us from trying them out. I ordered the Yountville Burger which has sharp cheddar cheese, bacon, roasted garlic aioli, red onion, tomato, arugula, and a Parmesan crisp on top with a side of Parmesan Truffle Fries. This burger was delicious! It was cooked perfectly and all of the flavors meshed well together. The fries were to die for!!! My only complaint is the burger alone is $20 and the fries are $14. It's kind of pricey but when you're on vacation you just try and not think about the price.

I came here for lunch with coworkers and the food was good! My whiskey bacon burger had a spicy kick to it and I really liked the flavor of the seasoning and the burger meat was cooked perfectly to medium, juicy and tender. We ordered appetizers for sharing and what's not to like? Onion rings are perfect. I was disappointed about the "potato balls", I was expecting something like giant fluffy potato balls like the ones at Gregoire's in Berkeley, but no they were just tater tots. That was my only disappointment ... totally misleading. Overall we had a good time. I would totally have ordered a beer to go with my beer if this was not during work hours. They have a huge drink menu! Restaurant was clean. Service was good. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Very kid friendly, I saw many families here.

This was my third visit here. They have very tasty gourmet burgers. My husband had the Baja Burger, and I had the James Beard Competition Burger. Last time he had the Stinson Beach Burger. Each time we've been pleasantly surprised at just how very good the burgers are. It says something when a meal is memorable, and these burgers are memorable. They come with a bit of salad, which has also been very good each visit. The garnishes are delightful and edible, not just a sprig of cilantro or parsley. Presentation is excellent, as is the service. The vibe is upbeat and busy, with an average noise level. I was able to talk with my husband without shouting. Football games have been on each of our visits. I love this place.

Amazing foods and nice staffs:) I hang out with my bestie and her two lovely kids. The restaurant caught our attention by it's nice dining environment. The foods are really tasty.its worth to try!

We had an absolute wonderful lunch! Our server was pleasant and the service was fast. We love Napa and the interior reminds us of Napa. Will definitely be back and make this our usual burger spot in town.

whiskey bacon burger was not as good as the pinot noir beef burger but both were pretty unique

The food was good but predictably overpriced. It wasn't great or bad. The service was good and had no issues there. Not a must try by any means but it's not regrettable either.

Full transparency: one burger (comes with a side salad included) we got a side of fries and 2 sodas was $45. I only gave it 3 stars because of the price was still high for splitting one burger, but the food was delicious. The food was so good! My husband and I split a burger (we had asked them to cut it in half but the waiter told us we should cut it ourselves because they'll charge us more if they have to cut it, I appreciated the honesty!) we had a side of seasoned shoe string fries it was all very tasty and very fast service. The restaurant itself was very clean and quiet and inviting.

Visit during the heat wave. I changed my seat twice to sit under the fan. I looked up and the medium size dining room was full. The menu has something for every dietary need. Great drink selection. Since I was surrounded by water, I got the fish and chips. The batter adhered to the two pieces of fish and was very crispy. James Beard burger I highly recommend. Servers were very nice. I ordered the Sausalito Burger and Fries and was not disappointed. Great quality ingredients and was not busy at all during lunchtime on a weekend. This place is a great destination for anyone visiting Sausalito.

One word can describe this establishment, ripoff. A $20 burger doesn't even come with fries, a normal staple of all burger joints. Instead they try and pawn off a handful of mixed greens at you. Margarita was subpar. Service was lacking. Server did not like to make eye contact. They allow pets inside, right next to the grill. Dog lover or not, that is unsanitary. The flavor of the burger did taste good. Compliments to the chef.

"Best fries ever!" That's a direct quote from my 15 year old, in reference to the sweet potato fries. The whole meal, from the kind waitress who looked like our family from Spain, to the burgers, was perfect. We had the Stinson burger and the Yountville burger. The Stinson was superior in taste. The Yountville was a bit dry. The Stinson had a perfect slab of Gouda, crispy bacon, and just all around goodness galore!

Nice small burger place in downtown Sausalito where we were strolling and shopping. We ate outside which always makes me a little nervous because I worry about getting less attention from wait staff. But they were right on it, brought menus as soon as we sat down and service was great. We decided to split a burger with onion rings and the fish tacos. Huge mistake as that was a LOT of food but very good! My wife loved the onion rings and we both loved the fish tacos but they are stuffed pretty full so honestly just splitting those probably would have been enough.

For example, they can announce on their website or put up a sign that they are closed for remodeling. I traveled a long way to eat there.

It was a busy afternoon when we arrived and we were very hungry, so we hop in this restaurant after checking the menu and ambience. The restaurant was quite busy, we were seated for a while until we got a service but it wasn't too long and the staff was extremely warm! Offering water and menu real quick. Food: We ordered Fish and Chips, James Beard Competition Burger and Yountville Burger. Unbelievably, all of them tasted very very good! Fish and chips are well seasoned and it's already delicious without any sauce. The burgers are even better, very nice portion and the sides were amazing! With every bite, I tried with salad, pickle and the grilled cheese, and they made every bite a new taste bud experience. Will definitely recommend to anyone who plans to visit this cute town!

Came here around 12 on a Saturday. Our waiter, Elizabeth, was very nice and always checked up on us to see if we needed anything. The interior of the restaurant is nice and clean and the window seat is perfect for people watching. The food was good but it did not stand out considering the price. My friend thought the fries were lukewarm. I did enjoy the burger and the cheese crisp and aioli had great flavor but I felt that it overpowered the mushrooms. I didn't even realize the mushrooms were in there. The burger came with a salad on the side but did not think this is worth $24. If you're really craving a burger in Sausalito, I would consider this place if you have the budget.

Came here for lunch on a weekend, and ordered the yountville burger with a side of fries. Everything was tasty, but nothing really stood out. I wish the fries were cooked for slightly longer/more crispy. The burger wasn't too greasy, which was nice. We were seated almost immediately, but felt super rushed to leave--the waiter came by to take our plates and asked for the check while our party was still finishing up our plates.

We were here on a busy Saturday afternoon. We were lucky to get a table as soon as we walked since were were just two. But a larger group would have had a long wait time. The burgers and sandwiches are served with a small amount of salad and not fries. I don't think that's fair. An unfair gimmick to make more money on the fries. Dishes we tried: Yountville burger: 3/5. Nice crispy bacon. Patty was not seasoned well. Fries: 4/5 Crispy buffalo chicken sandwich: 4/5

The butter chicken burger was delicious. Initially I wasn't sure if I should order this one or the buffalo chicken one, my boyfriend got the buffalo chicken one and I am not regretting, the butter chicken burger taste better. The salad sauce was amazing.

Enjoyed a nice lunch this past Sunday afternoon (5/5/24), with the Mrs and I must say, we will be back again The Napa Truffle Fries for an appetizer are simply sublime, but really don't want to start there, as the service was spot on fantastic. The ambiance of the restaurant is much like a charming Napa Valley Winery and overall, nicely appointed. Loved the ginormous SF Giants wine bottle up high and in front of restaurant. The entire staff were super friendly, welcoming, and wow, they work so very hard. Not just in the physical sense, but they reach new heights in journey to provide exceptional service, experience, and quality of food. When we are back in Sausalito, we will be plan to stop by again!! Thank you to the entire team for helping to make my wife's Birthday visit special!!

We had very high hopes for our initial visit to Napa Valley Burger Co. We walked in and there was only one outdoor table occupied (lunchtime) and all of the waiters were hanging out talking at the bar and one female was rolling silverware. We were seated and brought water while we perused the menu, we went with an order of truffle fries, a Yountville burger and their James Beard Award Winning Burger ( $26). Our fries arrived first (a bit rude because you want to eat them hot & with your burger) it was $14 and equivalent to a McDonald's SMALL fry, they were tasty but not enough to share or worth the price. Our burgers arrived 20 minutes later and looked good, however the bun was very dense and dry and with such a thin and small patty just wasn't a pleasant meat- to- bun ratio, the cheese frico was very hard and old tasting and the meat was very under seasoned. I would have to say, that I'm happy to pay any amount for a delicious and equally sized burger but to be honest the flavor, size, and overall quality just wasn't there to warrant such a price at such a beautifully themed and high end restaurant.

Upscale atmosphere for a burger place with prices to match. Came for dinner with a large group on a weekend after a long day hiking Mt Tam. Safe to say we were starving and, luckily, were promptly seated. I tried a couple of their burgers. I don't remember which, but I remember they tasted distinctly different, which is nice as they have quite a few options! I also had their truffle fries, which were also great. Prices are definitely high for what it is, but given the location and decor, it's not entirely surprising.

I came here on a random Thursday while strolling around Sausalito. We came here around 4 30ish hence it wasn't that packed at that time and they managed to give us a table. I had heard a lot about this restaurant from others and was really excited to try it. We all love burgers don't we? It's a little pricey but trust me it's worth it for the extravagant delicious burgers you get in return. We ordered the Yountville burger and the Stinson beach bbq burger along with the truffle fries. The restaurant lived upto to the hype and everything tasted fantastic. I absolutely loved the Yountville burger, the combination of bacon, cheese, garlic and arugula is heavenly. I loved every bite of that burger and the fries were also solid. I enjoyed my meal here and would love to come back for some more mouth watering burgers and fries.

Stumbled upon this place walking through Sausalito and really happy we stopped. We had the truffle fries, James Bears burger and Stinson Beach BBQ Burger along with their Bloody Mary and Sangria. The fries were amazing...finger licking good. We devoured both burgers. Extremely fast and friendly service.

We are locals an came here a couple days ago. Their menu listed the Pellegrino as $8 for a liter. 1 liter was also listed on our receipt. However, what they gave us was 750ml for $8.00. We asked them to adjust it but they refused. Stop stealing from your customers. Also, the veggie burger wasn't good. Won't come back.

Came here after a poor experience down the street left me with nothing to eat. Ordered takeout and it was swift. Gluten and dairy free options. I got the Yountville burger with no cheese or crisp, on a gluten free bun, and with a side of fries (regular and sweet potato are both gluten free)! The hostess and what may have been the manager were both very friendly and helpful. It took about ten or so minutes and I was on my merry way. I ate outside on a bench while the rest of my group got ice cream. The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful without being greasy. Great size too. Fries were delicious and crispy, seasoned just right. Still recommend this place!

Enjoyed this lunch after a nice bike ride across the bridge. Nice that there was outdoor seating to keep a good eye on the bikes. Service was quick and friendly. Usually, veggie burgers, especially when made in house, don't have a good flavor, but this one is an exception! Can tell there was a lot of thought that went in to combining these great flavors. The truffle fries were good, very Parmesan forward. The only downside is that it is pretty pricey. $80 for two burgers and fries is steep.

We went to the hotel restaurant Poggio next, but had a bad experience with our order being ignored. So, we decided to try Napa Burger, where we had one of the best burgers ever many years ago. It wasn't busy, which was odd since we usually saw a wait. We were so glad we went because the staff were quick and really attentive. Elizabeth was our waiter, and she checked up on us with every pass-by and even apologized for not taking our order quicker, though we had just finished deciding what to eat. The bartender got our drinks fast. The food was good--not as good as the first time--but the excellent service made it taste even better. We were so glad we came; it made our day much better after the bad start at Poggio.

Friendly, helpful people. Really tasty burgers. Located on the main visitor's route, not rushed to finish. A bit of an oasis feel.

My family and I arrived around 2:25 and this place was so busy!!! They gave us a pager and we waited about fifteen minutes and we had a special request due to a person in our party who needed special accommodations. Once seated; our server Nick appeared promptly and took our refreshment order. Our food was delivered hot and fresh. Everything was delicious!! Everyone from the host and hostess to the server, food runner, busser and management were all extremely busy and managed to serve everyone with patience, kindness and a smile! The new crispy Buffalo chicken sandwich is FIRE!!!! The onion rings were delightful today too.

My son and I stopped by on a Mother's Day weekend. I came here a few years back and I remembered it was really good so we decided to give it another try. The service was very good but the food was just ok. My burger was a little on the dry side and unflavored. I think they may have forgotten to salt it. Also the burgers come by themselves with no sides but the cost was quite high. I think for the 3 things I ordered and no drinks the bill was over $60.

The food was really good and the service was great. We will come again when we're in town.

When the food came, it looked very good. My wife and I had some concerns with the salad, didn't seem very fresh. Long strong short, the burgers were good, the salad was not, but we stupidly ate it. We both have the stomach ache less then an hour later. My kids only ate the burger and fries had no issues. Good thing for the ice cream store with the clean bathroom a few stores over.

The greatest burger I've ever had. Seriously. I don't recall the name of it but it had mushrooms cooked in it and it made it sooooo delish

Had a burger with the gluten free bun. It was excellent and best gluten free bun, ever. My friend had a salad and loved it as well.

I came here after a hike and it looked like a good place to grab a bite. We were seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon and the service was fast and helpful. I ordered the bacon burger and it tasted pretty good. The cook on the burger was a nice medium rare and the bacon goes really well with arugula and a beef patty. I might need to come again during their breakfast/brunch rush to get the full experience.

We ordered 2 cheeseburgers to go cooked medium, however, we received both burgers cooked extra well done. Poor attention to detail by the cook, I'll never go back. Waste of $40. +

We stopped in for lunch on a weekday, and had a warm, friendly experience. We ordered the Baja Burger, Vintage Cheese Burger, and Fish and Chips. Burgers were flavorful and cooked perfectly to medium, with balanced toppings. The tater tots (potato puffs on the menu) were perfectly crispy, and we also ordered truffle fries. The Fish and Chips came with the seasoned fries. The seasoning was just a hint of flavor, if you're wanting something more flavorful, go for the truffle fries, or ask for the chipotle or sriracha aioli. It wasn't spicy for me, but it was very tasty! The drink was delicious, just the right sweetness for me. The lemonade on the beverage menu was reconstituted, so the fresh squeezed lemonade is just for the hard lemonade. Definitely would go back to try the other burgers and chicken sandwiches, and enjoy the crispy battered fish. As someone with a shellfish allergy, I was happy and excited to be able to order fried foods, because they don't have shellfish on the menu.

***3.5 stars*** my cousin chose this restaurant for her son's post-graduation celebration lunch, and it was a great location, farther from the city, much less crowded, with a nicer view (from the outside). since it was a very warm day, we chose to eat inside, although i'm not sure if the a/c was on, but it was definitely cooler than sitting outside under the hot sun. our party of 9 had to wait a bit for a table, but it wasn't long before we were seated at a long table near the front of the restaurant, and more or less away from the other guests, so we could social distance. we started with several appetizers to share: onion rings ($15), chips + guacamole ($14), napa truffle fries ($14), sweet potato fries ($8.50), and nacho waffle fries ($17). it was a fried food lovers wet dream, seeing all of these fried carbs on the table! my favourites were the truffle fries and sweet potato fries, and they were tasty on their own without any condiments. while most of my relatives ordered the james beard competition burger ($24 a piece), i, the vegetarian, ordered the napa valley & beyond ($21), aka "beyond burger" a juicy patty, with the taste and texture of a regular burger, without the meat! it was pretty much vegan for me, since i skipped the cheese and aioli sauce, but the burger was quite tasty with the addition of avocado and caramelized onion. i further made it gluten-free by swapping out the bun for a lettuce wrap. there was a bit of salad on the side which was quite tasty...not sure what the dressing was, but i liked it! this was definitely a tasty meal, but the $$ was a bit much, esp since fries were not included. service was generally good, a little on the slow side, but the restaurant was pretty busy even at 1430 on a friday afternoon. while the fries & chips came out quickly, the burgers took a bit of time, so by the time we finished our meal and paid, it was around 1600! 2 separate restrooms were in the rear, and i always had to wait, and was disappointed at the condition of each...definitely needed some attention on this day. there are public parking lots 1-2 blocks away for $4/hour, not too bad for a semi-touristy area. after this heavy meal, we enjoyed the walk along the bridgeway, taking in the view of the bay and downtown sf.

Came here for lunch in Sausalito with no reservation and had a great experience. Sausalito was packed when I came and we arrived by bike with empty stomachs and ready to grub! After yelping a bit and walking around the main streets we decided to put our name down here with 5 people. The restaurant is a bit dark and screams classic American food. Within 10 minutes our buzzer lit and we were seated! We got fish and chips, the special buffalo burger, yountville burger, nacho fries, and a chicken salad. Everything came out fairly quickly with the exception of the salad surprisingly.If we had not said something, I don't think they would have brought out our friend's salad at all! I enjoyed my burger a lot more than I expected. Nothing really sounded great when I sat down but after my yountville burger came out I scarfed down the entire thing...rare for a smaller eater like myself! I would suggest putting your name down earlier and then walking around Sausalito while you wait. I really liked my food and would probably come back here in the future if I didn't have a reservation.
