Napa Yard - Oxbow Gardens

I was in the area with family and was trying to find something none wineish. I know I know. Napa=Wine. Sometimes you need a beer though with yummy bites! I pulled my family out of their comfort zone and into the yard! Yass to all the selections of beer, wine, cocktails, and I believe mocktails. You think you're at the end of the property and there is more! It's right on the river and there is a playground for the kiddos. You can order at the bar or order to table via QR code. Slight negative: not the best veggie options. We need protein as in please have a veggie alternative patty/hot dog. The veggies on the veggies sandwich were huge! Hard to eat. Maybe smaller pieces? Otherwise amazing! Recommend!

Great Spot! The Napa Valley can be pretty pretentious. Napa Yard is the exact opposite. It's rustic, open and welcoming. Great bar and drinks, and really tasty food. Best of all is just the relaxed vibe. It's enclosed and there's a playground, so the kids are happy too. I wish we had one in Orange County. Highly recommended.

Located near the oxbow market not too far from downtown Napa and by the river is the Napa Yard. They have their own parking and tons of space. It is an outdoor brewery with some shaded seating, a huge kids area, QR codes and some table service area. They have live music too! We came here for a late lunch on Mother’s Day and it was open seating. We easily ordered using the QR codes for drinks. For the kids we got grilled cheese and chicken tenders. Me and my mom shared a smash burger, my dad got tacos, my sis in late got a salad and some sausages, my bro also got a burger. I ordered some Buffalo cauliflower and onion rings for everyone. Service was fairly quick, we moved to the side where there was sun because it was chilly and they have self service water. Nice vibes and great for families!

Beautiful space, relaxed, awesome drinks, pub fare. Got the Korean chicken sandwich and it was cooked well and tasty! Very crispy. Piquinto (?) beans were decent as well, comes with chips otherwise (fries substitution possible as well).

Great dog friendly spot in Napa next to the river. Lunch was served quickly. Service was stellar. The Friday lunch crowd was minimal so overall a great experience. Pretzel and beer cheese were our favorite part of the meal. The BLT was mostly bread but the aioli was good.

Carnita street tacos were okay I had better but the best part about this place is the atmosphere also a kid friendly place.

Hidden gem, perfect for groups AND with kid friendly area. the beer and food selection is always top-notch. Awesome place to hang out and socialize. Highly recommend 👌

We did a small private event for our daughter’s birthday and it was so great. Boe was incredibly helpful with coordinating in advance, and the team on the day of was supportive and accommodating without being overbearing. We had such a wonderful experience!

I was visiting the light installations on this side of the river and stumbled across the Yard and decided to grab a drink before heading back to our hotel. I didn't get eyes on the entire place but there is a bar shortly after you enter which is where I ordered from their seasonal cocktail menu. The bartenders were friendly and took care of my order quickly. Unfortunately, the kitchen had just closed so do note they keep separate hours. I unfortunately didn't love my drink, but that's what I get for trying something new. But I nursed it while enjoying the cool weather and the people watching and had a nice time. I love spots like this and would def return.

First time here, great experience! Came here to have dinner and celebrate a friend's birthday, and I liked the vibe and atmosphere! We were greeted right when we entered, and found our party already sitting down. I like the ordering process they have for food and drinks. For large parties, big tables are broken up in sections with their own QR codes to order from. We came a little later than everyone else, so it was nice not to have to flag down a server just to order something. I had the onions rings, rosemary fries, and buffalo wings, and then their Jacky's Sweet Tea cocktail to drank, which all came out pretty quickly after we ordered. They did run out of a cocktail that my friend ordered, and ended up forgetting to tell us. So we waited for something that didn't come. But by the time we ended the meal, my friend had gone to the bar and got something else instead. So all good. Regarding our food and drink: Wow!! They did not come to play with that Jacky's Sweet Tea!! They did not skimp on the alcohol whatsoever LOL. But hey, we didn't mind it. The buffalo wings were decent in flavor, just wished they were crispier. The onion rings had a sweet batter, which I wasn't a big fan of. BUT the rosemary fries?? DELICIOUS. Mandatory part of your order for sure! All in all, good service, yummy food. Definitely a place to get a bite, drinks, and hang with friends!

It's digital, so bring yo phone! Our first time experiencing Napa Yard and it was legit. We were welcomed when we came in and we're given a run down on how things work. 1. We pick anywhere we want to eat. 2. We scan the QR to order food and drinks and then it appears relatively quickly. You can choose weather to run a tab or keep it open for you and your crew. Great place for kids, groups, and pets. Nice view of big screens for the games as well.

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Amazing atmosphere! Plenty of lights and bonfires for night time. A park/play area for kids. Food was really good! Drinks made to perfection. Hard working staff cleaning/bussing tables.

Such a welcome addition to Napa! It is so nice to have a casual, family friendly spot in Napa. No frills, no pretension - just a night spot to slide up to a picnic table or take a seat at the bar, grab a drink and a bite and catch up with friends. Have kids? This is a great spot. The space in the back lets the kids run around and play while adults can catch up. The staff was super friendly and drinks and food came out quickly. The food itself was brewpub adjacent, which is what you should expect here. Good, but nothing out of this world. Just a nice casual family and dog friendly spot in downtown Napa.

Really cool outdoor, casual beer garden in Napa! The space is beautiful and large, right next to Napa River. There is plenty of seating and also fun bar games like cornhole. I came in the middle of a Sunday afternoon by myself and only had one beverage, no food. It was a nice experience. I ordered the Smash du Jour from the bar and found a quiet seat under a tree overlooking the water. The Smash was a bourbon drink with plums from their orchard, very refreshing! The bartender was friendly and quick. If I'm ever in the area again, I would happily come back!

I wasn't impressed with the food, service or ambiance. It was all "Ok". Would I go there again? I wouldn't go out of my way.

It's decorated with Christmas lights and decor and they allow dogs! I got a mocktail but they had my husband's favorite beer- allagash white. We got our drinks very quickly and sat down by the heat lamp. It was festive and cute!

Hands down the best spot in Napa! Whether you are looking to catch a sports game, lunch and a beer, or happy hour! Great for date night or bring the whole family! The location is an experience between the gardens, different sitting areas and being located right on the river where you'll often see the singing Gondola man paddling his guests around. The hospitality, service and genuine sincereness of the staff eludes the pretentiousness that can often come with Napa. They are always doing new and fun events and changing their food and drink menu. This spot is a BIG hit with the locals here in Napa, if you are coming from out of town and happen upon this spot consider yourself lucky!

We stumbled upon this fine establishment because we needed a place to park and man what a gem! The ambiance is excellent with a lot of nice outdoor seating and it is dog friendly as well. The servers were nice and all the food we had was tasty. The wings, fries, burgers and more were great. I will say the portion sizes weren't as big as I was hoping but be not dismayed, I do tend to eat a lot when I get my grub on. Give this place a try if you're in the area!

I when by Copia tk view the garden & found the Napa Yard. Great surprise. Quiet, friendly. A real surprise for a Saturday after noon. Very interesting beer & cocktail menu. Simple tasty food. Very nice afternoon retreat & I'll soon check out the evenings.

Been here a couple times and have enjoyed it every single time. Great items of food to choose from and everything we've ordered has been great. Love the amount of drink options they have available too. Service is pretty quick. Plenty of outdoor seating available and I believe this place is dog friendly.

I loved the environment. While I was there with friends, it's a great family spot for food, drink, corn hole and a playground. Right near the river. I went on Taco Tuesday so there was a vendor who has delicious steak quesadillas with homemade tortillas. Yumm!

Great place to chat and chill on a nice warm sunny day! You go to the bar for alcohol then the rest is self service by scanning the QR code on the table for food. I was surprised by how good the smash burger was, or maybe I was just buzzed by the alcohol lol overall it is a cute place for photos and chat!

I visited Napa yard after work with some coworkers. The ambiance was really nice but the food was just eh. The appetizers were definitely better than main course dishes like the BLT and chicken sandwich. There was an entire half of an uncut avocado on the BLT and the chicken sandwich had a lot of sauce. Everything is ordered via QR code so we didn't really have much service in person other than the waiters that delivered the food. The live music is fun! I think we would return just for drinks and snacks next time.

Excellent venue for eating and drinking with your dogs in tow. Immense space to hang out right next to the river. Very scenic.

Came here during the last week of December to celebrate a friends bday, and this is such a beautiful space and perfect for small & large group gatherings (weather permitting). It was a chilly winter night but they had plenty of heaters to keep the group warm. The ordering was super simple. Scan the QR code, and order the food from your phone. I've been on a smash burger hype, so of course I went with that and some fries. The burger itself was tasty, good bun, but if I got it again, go for a double patty, bc a single was not enough. I also had a couple bites of the Cesar salad my friend ordered, it was tasty as well. We were celebrating a bday and they were kind enough to provide us a Molten chocolate cake which got eaten up with a quickness. This outdoor space was holiday themed, along with decorations and holiday inspired drinks and cups. It's dog friendly, and has plenty of parking. I can see this being a great spot for those warm summer nights and look forward to coming back later on this year. Definitely worth checking out!

First time at Napa Yard just across the street from Oxbow Market. For a Friday night there was a live band enveloping evening diners with Americana music. The beer garden was protected by a wall of well tended garden vegetables. We dined on 2 burgers, ceviche and onion rings. Every was just meh. Once was enough for the experience.

We held a private event at "the Point" for approx 40 people on a Friday night in June. This location gave us access to a covered reception area and covered harvest tables, located between the lovely gardens and overlooking the Napa River. The setting was perfect! For our event, we hosted soft drinks, wine, appetizers and the Roasted Pig. Napa Yard dedicated a bartender, chef and 2 friendly staff to serve our guests. The service was great and the food was delicious. Everyone had a great time. Highly recommend for a comfortable and casual outdoor event.

Came here for the miracle pop-up bar which had such cute decorations, but the food was pretty bad. I got the pretzel which was super salty so I ended up scraping off all the salt. Don't get the brisket, it tasted like it was microwaved. It was so dry that I needed to wash it down with water. The Cole slaw was so sour and vinegar-y that it wasn't edible. My friends got the Mac and cheese which they didn't finish and we were just disappointed overall. The pop-up bar is super cute, and we mostly came here for the Christmas decorations so if you want to come just for photos and drinks, by all means. Otherwise, would pass if you're hungry. Lots of parking, and outdoor seating with heaters.

The location is nice and big for an outdoor party in the evening. All outdoors and high heals not recommended. It is on the Napa River. We went for the advertised October Fest which my friend in Corte Madera saw on a post. They did have German Beer and a special plate of food to order which was fine but no German music to tie it all together. I guess Napan's never experienced an October fest.

Staff and management were great and the food was excellent. Had my engagement party at the brewery and all my 25 guess loved Napa yard!

What a perfect addition to the Oxbow/Downtown area! Aesthetic - 10/10 100% outside with covered portions for the occasional CA rain (was actually raining the day I went ironically). Tons of seating options from nice sit down tables to around-the-firepit to picnic table style. Perfect opportunity to bring the kiddos and let them run around. Staff - 7/10 Basically non-existent as all of your ordering is done through an online ordering system on your phone but whenever we did see them/speak with them, they were very nice and helpful! Our Order: - Bonanza Cabernet - Pretty good, not dry at all. Easy drinker! - Roasted Beets & Burrata - Super tasty and so many beets! My only criticism is I wish they had the multi-colored beets to liven up the dish but hey, who am I to complain! - Veggie Sandwich - So delicious and filling! Hearty serving of vegetables on delicious bread with a choice of a side. Side note (get it? :) ) - the broccolini is spicy! Can't wait to bring family and friends back to this fun new Napa spot!

This is the perfect spot for families. Outside seating. Play area for kids. Open. Friendly. Excellent food. Dog friendly. The full package.

This place could be so much better but instead it's overpriced and under delivered. Cool outside space with lots of seating and fire pits perfect place to go with kids. Hopefully someone could come in with some good food and better drinks cause they would kill it. Service is not the best.

One of my new favorite hang outs in Napa!! Perfect fall vibes. Note it is all outside! They have heaters but I would still come prepared with the cooler weather we've been having. They have three different seating sections. One is most like a restaurant with table service. The next is open seating and lastly there are some fire pits in a more open area. Food/drinks: cocktails were delicious! Decent beer selection. When seated, you can order on your phone which makes it easy! We ordered the truffle fries (heavenly) and the Buffalo cauliflower. It was tasty but the cauliflower pieces were slightly too large for my taste. Each one had to be cut into at least 4 pieces (maybe healthier since it's less breading). Lastly we got the fig and goat cheese tart. The goat cheese part was delicious, but the figs tasted a little off. When we entered, there was a stand with a man selling local honey. He let us try a few flavors for free and it was very tasty! I meant to purchase some after dinner but he had already left. I will definitely be back to enjoy the fire pits some more! Big fan of this addition to Napa.

Great food and a great area to walk around! Good for kids too with lots of space and a playground.

This place reminded me of the beer gardens in Europe! Open, family friendly, picnic, and regular tables. Some outdoor games. Separate bar area. Menu isn't huge and you order on a phone app (can see how this would be confusing for some). Food was fresh, Fish tacos were really good! Not sure how they will manage in the winter since it's all outdoors? Parking is free and right there (a big deal since parking can be tough around the Oxbow market). Would be a great place for a party!

Very good brunch place. They make excellent sausage, biscuits, gravy, pastry, and mimosas. The outdoor seating is very calm and relaxing.

Great place! They have a huge space, great for bigger groups. I love the QR codes at the tables, you can order from your table and they bring drinks and food right out. Great appetizers, good drinks, and great staff!

Honestly, came here feeling a bit queasy and hungover, so opted for a pancake and Bloody Mary. Really surprised how good it was. However, I was with someone with an allergy, and the QR code tech now just doesn't bring confidence that the food they bring out is allergen free. Would recommend they bring back waiters or servers to take orders and create a better service experience because the outdoors are beautiful.

The first time I went to this place was in early October, 12ish on a Friday. The joint was deader than a doornail, but fear not, the manager generously permitted us to bring in our bikes. Oh, but don't get too excited, they insisted we leave our precious high-end mountain bikes near the door. Evidently, they harbored fears that our top-tier cycling contraptions might turn their humble abode into a realm of unparalleled bicycle grandeur. Fast forward to November, we went there again - the joint resembled a ghost town once again. But this time, the overlords at this fine establishment had a change of heart. No longer were they the benevolent guardians of our cherished bikes. Oh no, this time, they callously refused us entry with our bikes, insisting we park them outside. We, in our audacity, dared to propose leaving our bikes on the side near the grass - a suggestion met with a resounding "no." Feeling the sting of rejection, we hightailed it out of there and descended upon Downtown Joe's, where our bikes were welcomed with open arms. And what do you know, we generously sprinkled over $300 on drinks and food. I'm baffled, truly. Why on earth would a place turn away the noble breed of bikers? It's an outdoor venue, for crying out loud! They must be rolling in cash, considering both times I ventured into this wonderland, it resembled a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Well, my friends, you won't catch me spinning my wheels back to this joint. I'll gladly toss my hard-earned cash elsewhere, where the welcome mat is rolled out for both me and my majestic two-wheeled steed. Their beer is average and their fish tacos cannot beat the restaurant chain Rubio's. Good luck staying in business.

Great place to chill outside with friends or even by yourself. Nice outdoor bar with a good selection of beers on top and some tasty light bar food. There was a talented, band playing when we were there which was nice. Friendly, helpful staff.

Pro's Food- is great Service- is amazing Ambiance- is great Bar- great selection Con's Beer- was not served in a chilled grass My only suggestion is the beer needs to be cold and served in a chilled glass "MANDATORY"

I came here for an after work happy hour and was very impressed. The ambiance is the reason to come; very large outdoor space right in one of the bends of the Napa river. Lots of great beers on tap, and plenty of other cocktail options. I can't speak too much for the food; I only tried a couple of the appetizer, and they were all decent enough -- nothing special/spectacular. I will say that the burgers looked good, and I'll try them out next time I come for a meal. We sat in the "self service area," so I also can't speak too much about that; however I'll say that the bar staff was friendly and they brought out our food orders in a timely manner. If I could change one thing about this place it would be to add service to the "self service area"; it's a very large area (and arguably the best area of the establishment), and it would be convenient to not have to leave your table/group to periodically get up for drinks. I'm not sure how this place fares in colder or hotter weather, but we came on a gorgeous day with perfect weather, and I'll definitely be back under similar circumstances.

The space is great, really large. Lots of people there on a Friday night, including families. It was a mix of young and old, lots of locals, and casual. I think this will be come a favorite go to. Sorry I didn't know about it sooner. The bar line was about 12 people deep but they had plenty of people working the bar and the line moved relatively quickly. I had a an IPA called Maui Waui which hit the spot, will go back for that alone. I ordered food thru the QR code. Miso Dip with Crudites was passable. The beef on the grilled burger was good, the bun was very good. But the potato chips....not good. Maybe I got the bottom of the bin - the serving had about 5 chips and the rest in the order were tiny broken fragments of chips that were so greasy they were inedible - the kitchen shouldn't have sent it out IMO. So a solo burger w/out cheese (per my preference) was $20. Probably won't do that again. If our local Super Duper can serve a great burger with actual fries for less than than $20 - then Napa Yard should be able to pull that off too. So minus 1 star. Will go back, the concept is great.

Service was terrible. I had a "La Paloma" and it was super underwhelming. No flavor all ice. Super disappointed because this location has potential for a great drinks and ambiance and it didn't deliver. I'm not sure if it's new and staff haven't been trained on manners but I don't recommend this place for a good time with friends. It's a ghost town and it sucks.

Fun new place near the Oxbow. Great food with a special shout out to Bobby Caravella (manager) and a very helpful and nice server Sandra. A dog friendly venue. A large and beautiful property on the river. We look forward to enjoying the food, sights and grounds. Review by Vicki Tate and Ken Agron.

Ok, local without unreasonable expectations about Napa prices or how hard it is to make a go. Great ambiance, place for drinks but don't waste your $$ with ridiculous entrees or appetizers like the smallest mussels plate ever invented Just no service except what you order online.

Pretty cool hangout spot, especially if you're looking to hang out. We came on a weekday, around the 4 pm hour and there was plenty of space/tables. The variety of alcohol is awesome- beers and wine! It's self service when it comes to food- scan and order. Food came out very quickly. Great service! Go to the bar to order your drinks...leave the tab open if you plan on getting multiple drinks. But don't forget to close it. Ample parking. Would love to come back and check out in the evening time.

MENU AND FOOD: Napa Yard offers a list of beers and brewery favorites. SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE: Service was friendly and attentive. They have outdoor seating only both unheated and heated sections. Reservations are encouraged for heated seating. They decor is appealing and appropriate. PARKING: They have plenty of parking! IMPRESSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: We ordered a few beers and had their pretzel and cheese, which was delicious! The pretzel had great texture and was the best we've had at a beer garden. We would have appreciated more cheese dip though! It's a fun environment with beer names like "Hey Gurl, Haaaze!" We'll definitely be back when we're in Napa again to try out their other food.

The service is a QR code and you order on there. It was definitely very quick service. The environment is dog friendly and family friendly. They also had some games to play. The restrooms were more of a trailer type but it was clean. It's worth checking out if you're in the area.

Didn't know this place was there, it's a good alternative and fun place to go. Parking is pretty good and free, has good bar. Food menu is a good mix with bar snack and entree. I had the burger and either should have added bacon or ordered something else. Burger came and looked really good, upon opening the top bun I was disappointed. First thought was where's the beef, was hungry and ate it before I realized I didn't take a picture. Oh well, I'll go back and order something else.

Food was delicious and the service was great. Ambiance was the best part. Highly recommend the Truffle Parmesan Fries.

Came in Sunday evening and really loved the bartender. We chatted about Ska bands and he was great! Ordered via the QR codes and was served the food almost immediately! However, it was all cold. Birria tacos were just plain tacos without any Birria sauce. Brussel sprouts were soggy. Sweet Potato fries were limp. Every thing was cold, and we got it almost immediately! Burger was pretty okay, but couldn't save us from the rest. I'll probably come back for the beer, but if you serve my wife cold food and she'll never revisit a place. $60 bucks for mediocre food. Skip this place and hit Gott's right down the street instead. There's a reason Gott's always has a line out the door.

What a gem! This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The grounds are magnificent, right on The Napa River with so many tables and chairs and different areas to gather. There are games and lawn for the kids (and dogs) to entertain themselves. We only came for beverages so I can't review the food, but the ambience alone is worth coming. The employees were so friendly as well.

Me and my husband ordered 2 beyond burgers, one plain and mine had everything in it. It was the best vegan burger I've had yet and I've had a few! The spices were delicious and the bread was very fresh. I was surprised by the homemade potato chips that came with the meal, there was a spice here that was heavenly. The service was very fast and friendly, we will definitely be back for this meal again. Sadly, we ate right away and I didn't get a photo, next time! I also enjoy seeing all the adorable pups that are here, made a few new friends!
