On Atwells, this independent shop does crisp, foldable Brooklyn‑style pies, late hours, and friendly prices. Locals praise the two‑slice deals; it’s a reliable, no‑drama option when you want classic New York style in Little Italy.

Solid foldable NY style slice in a low key spot with good prices. Not a whole lot to say. It’s good, thin pizza (with a touch of that yummy orange grease on top). Crust is just crispy and slices are foldable. Scratches a common itch.

A little bit of Brooklyn in Providence. Delicious pizza, calzones, salads and more! Small inside with a few tables and we were a party of 10 and we're comfortable. Try the various slices or a whole pie. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Federal Hill is a great spot during the holidays!

Google
I spent almost 100 dollars on 2 pizzas and some garlic knots and a salad, there was barely any pepperoni on the cheese pizza, or spinach, yes the green is spinach, I paid 1.50 extra for each topping aswell and I got a margarita that had almost no cheese or tomatoes just sauce and basil, very disappointing

Google
This was probably the best pizza I've had in a very long time. It was perfectly cooked with a thin crispy crust delicious sauce ugh chef's kiss honestly. The chicken tenders were absolute fire. There's a bar next door you can get drinks at and bring back in while you eat your food. The staff was super friendly and the guy at the register was very attractive. 10/10 would definitely make the 1 hour and 26 minute drive just to eat here again

Google
Ordered delivery. Large pizza well done and buffalo wings well done. Both were great. Might be one of the best ny style pizzas around the crust was crunchy and chewy in the best way

Google
They have changed prices of the 2 slices and a drink deal. No problem! But I got charged $13.54, someone right after me ordered the same thing and was charged $10. I understand the need for the increase that’s fine just make sure to charge everyone the same.

Google
I LOVE everything about this place. The food is always on point, best chicken parm grinder on The Hill (I’ve had them all), and the pizza is foldable and delicious. The people working there are always so kind, especially Kelvin. Nice place to be, good vibes all around.

Google
Practically perfect pie and garlic knots. Everything you could want from a NY slice. Crust and garlic knot texture is a fine layer of crisp on the exterior, fluffy going on flakey on the interior. Sauce leans into the salt and aromatics slightly more than most, which works perfectly with their dough and toppings. Loved it so much we went back another two times in the same week.

Yelp
Live close to go there often enough for a full circle review. Limited street parking like anything on federal hill. Connected to a bar so they do events at night. They have a special that's 2 slices with 1 topping and a drink but the price has changed almost everytime I go go by like a dollar. Lol so I think it's like $10 now which starting at $7 is kind of a big jump. Had the tenders before, the frozen lemonade. Me and my husband usually just order our own special and add toppings. Staff is always nice. They have a garnishing stand for red peppers and such. A good variety of drinks too as far as soda options. Cute little place definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Quiet here today for lunch. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. Hot and fresh. I had a chicken parm hero sandwich. The 6 in was stuffed and delicious. The garlic knots we're ok - a little bland but hot and fresh. Not pictured but friends got pizza slices (huge) and other sandwiches. We all enjoyed the food!

Yelp
Around 330p on a Monday, a coworker and I, were looking for something good but quick to eat before heading down to Newport after a very early 330a CST start of my day from Birmingham, AL. I must say I'm so glad that the initial place we were going was closed, because for $10 we were able to get 2 slices & a can soda, with no line and a minimal wait, (just long enough for our pizza to be heated in the pizza oven.) So the appearance of the restaurant is no place to write home about, as it's inside is somewhat small with a few places to sit and eat. The person who took our order was friendly enough, acknowledging us when we walked in, giving us time to review the menu board (which had a decent variety of items to choose from) answering a question or two that we asked. Now the pizza, it was really GOOD pizza, especially because I love, love, love, a crust that's crispy with a good chew, that's not overly sauced or heavily cheesed but has that perfect balance of sauce to, cheese,to pepperoni ratio, and these slices were done right! They were served literally hanging over two paper plates overlapping side by side, I really wish I'd taken a picture but I didn't, sorry, maybe next time.

Yelp
Ordered delivery through a 3rd party site...and SEVERELY disappointed. Apps, while crisp, seemed to have been fried in old oil (zucchini sticks & onion rings). Also ordered an Italian sandwich that was inedible (roll was stale & hard and the cheese/meats tasted off)...prices weren't cheap...will not be giving another try

Yelp
Rock solid 4. If you look at the bulk of my reviews, there is a significant chunk that are pizza related. Having said that, this particular spot is in the top ten for sure. The vibe of the place, and service are super chill; top-notch. It is right at the heart of Federal Hill so you can walk off whatever carbs you eat while strolling the area. The pizza itself is hand tossed and comes out thin with a nice level of integrity and crunch to it. After eating several slices I don't feel grossly overfilled like I just ate a full loaf of bread! The grease is just right, not overly oozing. They have a nice offering of garlic, parm, black pepper and crushed red for your choosing. I def recommend eating in or taking it very nearby to eat right away. Bestest freshest. Highest recommendation! Bon appetite

Yelp
Had their cheese pizza and it was ok...nothing outstanding. The crust was not really thin NY style, it was a bit thicker than what I would had expected. The pizza sauce and the cheese were also average, nothing to set them apart from other pizza joints in the area. They do have lots of specials that you can find on the A frame outside or the menu chalkboard inside. They have lots of seating inside.

Yelp
Order a Sicilian half sheet with ricotta, olive, caramelized onion and sausage and thank me later. My search for good pizza (when not in NY) has finally ended!

Gorette H.

Yelp
Yummy! Great food and super friendly waitstaff service was quick and food was prepared quickly and prepared fresh.

Tyler H.

Yelp
Got a pair of cheese slices and they were delicious! Would go again if I'm back in Federal Hill!

Yelp
First time here because of Lord of the Pies. Will return! best RI food fight slice in the city so far. Amazing crust. Toppings were fresh and a great ratio. Friendly team working and the shared door into the bar provided fun audio entertainment. Several tables with a nice view into the food prep area. Can't wait to bring friends and family to stop here on an Atwell's crawl night.

Yelp
As a NY transplant married to an NJ transplant the search for pizza has been a 5 year battle. The food charitably referred to as pizza in Rhode Island is OK but the pizza at Neapolitano's is a revelation! Perfect crisp, perfect taste, uncluttered unbothered ambiance and an incredible staff all fused together to create the best pizza experience I've had here. Of special note: Laura, Evelyn and Johnny were incredibly kind and generous. Give them all raises!
google avatar

Alex J.

Yelp
While it's not my favorite pizza in Providence, Napolitano's certainly gives the other big pizza places in the area a run for their money. They execute the thin crust NY style pizza well. I ordered a slice of pepperoni as part of Lord of the Pies and was surprised to see they gave me an extra slice for free because the original slice 'looked a little small'. Their pepperoni pizza has a nice crisp, light crust, and the topping was nicely done as well. The best thing I've purchased here is their candied jalapeno and bacon pie. That is a must get if it's your first time coming! The ambiance could be improved, the establishment is split into two halves. The pizza side and a separate room with a bar and area for open mic nights. The pizza side has bizarre seating with tables that are extremely long and placed right next to each other such that it would be hard to have multiple people sitting at the long tables. There are a few high tops in the front as well. This is a nice spot to stop for a slice or pickup a full pie in the heart of Federal Hill.

Yelp
May not look like much compared to all the options around on this street but we had and excellent meal. Chicken parm hero was awesome, crispy bread on the outside, soft cheese and tasty chicken with just the right amount of sauce! The panzanella salad was so tasty! Beautifully made and very filling at an excellent price.

Yelp
2 slices and a soda for $7.00 was a great deal and just what we needed for an afternoon snack. Thin crust N.Y. style pizza was what my wife was searching for on our trip to Federal Hill and Napolitano's Brooklyn Pizza was just the spot to deliver on that request. Generous slices.

Yelp
Found this place when my s/o and I were walking down Atwells in search of food, after a glass blowing class up the street. Starving, we just ordered stuff to share. Got an order of garlic knots (too much minced garlic for me), two slices of the Luna white pizza and a steak and cheese sandwich with peppers and onions. Everything was so darn good! I haven't had a good slice in years, and the steak & cheese? Perfect! We ended with some fried dough and unfortunately, it wasn't good. We got an order of 8. Half filled with nutella, half just dusted with cinnamon and sugar. They reminded me of poorly made, chewy beignets. Not a fan. When picking up our stuff from the glass blowing class, we had to stop in again. That pizza, damn it's addicting. We got an order of cheesy garlic bread to share, (again, a little overkill with the minced garlic). I got 2 more slices of the Luna. My s/o got 1 margarita and one plain cheese. Again, beyond awesome! We tried the cannoli as a sweet treat this time and unfortunately, another swing and a miss. Filling was too thin and the chocolate sprinkles didn't help regarding flavor. We will absolutely be going back and have officially dubbed this our "pizza place". It's a small dining space but, it has a lounge attached that has trivia night, comedy night, open mic, live music and a full bar. If you're strolling around Atwells, I say to you,...go. Just don't order any desserts.

Yelp
I ordered through Uber. Ordered chicken wings and panzanella salad. Wings were overdone and dry. Panzanella salad was a bowl of store bought croutons mixed with tomatoes, artichokes, olives and a nice dressing. But panzanella salad should be made with toasted Italian or another hearty bread. I did not even finish it. Maybe their pizza is better but based on this meal, I would not order again.

Jenaia M.

Yelp
I've only had the pizza in the past, but I wanted to try something different so I went with the chicken parm sandwich, what a mistake. The chicken was obviously pre cooked old and dry, total waste of money. It's a shame when you pay for food and ppl serve you whatever.

Yelp
Need some casual, fun Tuesday night plans after work on Federal Hill? Look no further than Napolitano's! Nestled mid-way down the "Little Italy" of Rhode Island, their pizza can be enjoyed sitting in live music-fueled bar, Jake & Johnny's--the namesake of the owner's two sons. Do yourself a favor and order the Coney Island pulled pork pie and sip on some of their locally-inspired Dels Lemonade frozen drinks and you have yourself some solid plans for the night. The service and vibe is welcoming and warm, making you feel like a regular even if it's your first time in (like it was for me!). I highly recommend checking it out!

Chris D.

Yelp
two weeks in a row of a perfect pizza experience! The bar attached to Napolitano's is worth 5 great paragraphs itself...but whether you're going for the pizza itself OR the pizza and the vibes you'll be impressed! crisp crust, quality toppings, just a lot of taste! definitely going to be back! don't overthink it, this place is a top spot on Fed Hill!

Yelp
Beat pizza since I've been here. Nice crispy crust no sog and not greasy! That's the key! Dave Portnoy would be proud!!

Linda J.

Yelp
Do not get the Sicilian style. We got a 1/2 sheet delivered through doordash and it was $45. I wouldn't have minded the price so much if it was actually good. The dough was at least 2 inches think and the entire pie was tasteless and bland. Like having some tomato sauce, little cheese and olives on top of a tasteless thick bread. We have had the NY style and thought we would try it. Nothing but regrets over this meal.

Diego R.

Yelp
The pizza was really really good and the music and environment was very good and got me in a great mood. It's a great place to hang out and eat great food. The service was great too and the people were very friendly and considerate.

Joseph I.

Yelp
Hands down the best pizza I have had since moving to Providence. Every time I go in or call, the staff is incredibly nice. It feels like a a slice of New York in PVD. I was hesitant about finding a pizza place to order from because I had my go-to in Virginia. I have to say this this is some of the best pizza I have ever had. Highly recommend getting the Candied Jalapeños on your pie. They also have some of the best garlic knots I have ever had. They are also my favorite place to get buffalo wings. If I could afford it and also not gain weight - I would eat here or get take out/delivery from them every day. Please give them a try because you won't be disappointed. Great vibes. Stupendous food. Amazing people.

Yelp
Gross beyond. Pizza tastes like frozen, recooked pizza. Wings were ok. Look at the onions that weren't cooked.
google avatar

Donnell W.

Yelp
I order five pizzas for an event from Napolitanos on a Wednesday night for a Thursday morning delivery. I was very satisfied at their promptness. The pizzas were very delicious and were the talk of the event. We ordered two cheese pizzas, margherita pizza, cyclone pizza and a custom veggie pizza. When the pizzas arrived they were very fresh. The dough was made perfect and they live up to their Brooklyn pizza name. I'd highly recommend Napolitanos for all of your pizza needs!
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
This is a pretty basic pizza joint with good pizza. We only had one slice each, but the service was OK and pricing good as well.

Taytum C.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere and how quick & high quality the service is. I've never had a bad experience eating here. The cheese & pepperoni slices are iconic !!! If I'm craving pizza - this is where I go. 10/10

mustafa o.

Yelp
They don't really put anything in their Italian sub but I got mozzarella sticks and they were delicious
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
Shockingly one of the best italians i have ever had. Great quality meats on an amazing hard roll. Got two meals out of the large.
google avatar

Alexsa B.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was fine. Restaurant was clean. Seemed a bit pricey. Not very busy.
google avatar

Vijay S.

Yelp
Ordered a margherita pizza from here. Pizza was Aok, sauce was bit too tangy. Not really worth the price, 22$ for the pizza.

Tj M.

Yelp
Food is eh. Pizza tends to be greasy, and the wings are hit or miss. Prices are average
google avatar

Anshul A.

Yelp
Amazing pizza - one of the best ever had. Baked to perfection and customized as desired. The owner/chef was quick and very professional. Quick service.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
A lord of the pies stop. I know this place has a good reputation and people rave about it, but I'm not having it. Tasted very meh. Not to say it was bad, I mean its pizza, so it can't really be too bad, but this wasn't good at all. Could've used more sauce, and the cheese just didn't do it for me. Again, different tastes for different folks, but I wouldn't go back.
google avatar

J V.

Yelp
Let me write this again, since it wasn't clear the first time it was deleted. The food used to be good. I used to come here regularly and for lunch since my cousin introduced me to it when I used to visit his house. The lunch deal and quality was incredible. Since I've gone within the last year, both times the quality is not the same and my boyfriend has gotten sick. I really think it's the cheese quality. I think the people who work here are nice, prompt, and there is no wait. I do NOT like the environment. I would not bring kids here. If I wanted to listen to loud explicit and vulgar music that drops "n" and "f" bombs nonstop while I'm here and describes what is done in the privacy of the home with vivid detail, I would just take my pizza and go down the street to the clubs. I highly doubt the owner is around lately as I never see her anymore, and I'm sure it is why the environment is like this. I don't have a problem with the music specifically, but this is not the place for it. It makes dining here uncomfortable. The food is really lacking lately and I don't want to continue to try a place where I feel sick and bloated when I leave. Advice: Put your foot down with the riff-raff, and don't cheap out on the quality of your ingredients. If I come to Federal Hill to eat, with the standard of most Italian places being fresh/home made, I don't expect to eat something that tastes like Sysco or Price Rite cheese...sorry!
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
FABULOUS meatball parm sub!!! It was so good, I started eating it in the car. Lol. Place was nice & clean....actually spotless, and staff greeted me by name when I walked in. I'd ordered online, but that was still a pleasant surprise. My friends had always ordered from the Cranston location. I had a Groupon to use. I was in the area, at the main Post Office, so I decided to try it.
google avatar

Tyler G.

Yelp
Very friendly staff. Always answers my questions about what is vegan and what is not. They have made me custom vegan pizzas with no cheese or meat for me. With amazing sauce and veggies. Their garlic knots are amazing. I go there for them alone sometimes. Perfect spot on the hill if you are a pizza lover!
google avatar

Josh H.

Yelp
So I was in the air of my friends trying to find a something to eat what Italian so we ended up coming here. I have to say I would deafly was not impressed and I would not come back here for the money it's not worth it I got a sandwich my friend got a burger which was very dry my other friend got a sandwich which they said it wasn't that great. So after spending all that money I ended up not eating anything and going somewhere else to eat

Angela S.

Yelp
We got a Sicilian pizza with cheese and roasted garlic. The pizza was divine. It would have been nice to have them use smaller pieces of garlic (not while cloves). The sauce is full of flavor. We will come back.
google avatar

Arun P.

Yelp
Was walking around Providence with my gf, the door was open and we walked in to get a slice. We were told there was 25 minutes before they were actually open...and we got ready to walk out when the owner (sorry I forgot his name) asked if we didn't mind waiting a couple minutes he'd fire up the over and have some pizza for us. While the food was getting ready the owner engaged us in some small talk but just from our brief exchange I could tell he was passionate about food and pizza. TL;DR - Nice friendly owner who is passionate about what he does. Great pizza. Go eat there.

Matt C.

Yelp
Best value on the hill. Very good food at a reasonable price. As soon as we found this place we started getting take out all the time. Definitely recommend, especially for takeout. I really like the steak and cheese sandwich but everything's good, sausage and broccoli rabe app is great as well. This place quickly became our go-to and we're very happy to have found it.

Nicole G.

Yelp
Ordered here many times and it's always good. Great food and awesome customer service. Only tip is to make sure to order the fries well-done. This is the only affordable and consistent option on the Hill. You can get lots of delicious food without breaking the bank. This is a hidden gem.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
Surprisingly Good Pizza, Nice dough, good sauce. The Margarita was excellent as was the Hawaiian Pizza. We also had the Antipasto which was good. All in All good experience. Dining could be a bit more pleasant, which was a bit spartan.
google avatar

Tee Z.

Yelp
Would you expect anything less on Providence's "Historic" Federal Hill. Not a true sit in place to eat (although there are a couple tables). Fresh, fresh, fresh dough and tangy sauce on your pie. We can walk to this location from our place and it's a once a week visit. Manga!!
google avatar

Scott V.

Yelp
The meat lovers Italian was quite possibly the best sandwich I have ever had. Toasty Italian roll. With a great oil and vinegar dressing and loaded with fresh meats. It was good, make sure to grab extra napkins, its hard to get your whole mouth around it
google avatar

Maureen F.

Yelp
I'm sooooo bummed that I forgot to take pics! But for you regulars you know that's a good sign... that it was too damn good to wait for!! Absolutely delish!! Not shockingly, Providence does Italian right... always!! We had: Garlic knots... perfectly tender and smothered and the "gravy" (marinara for you non cultured peeps) was AMAZING!!) Spaghetti & meatballs - to die. Now, I must admit, I did not know how much "to die" until I made a meatball sub at home after thawing the three frozen meatballs left... HOLY MACKEREL... easily (thank God Aunt Mary is not on Yelp) the best meatballs I've EVER had Plain cheese pizza - perfectly cheesy and baked to perfection!! Thanks Napolitano's for making me happy... on two nights! #leftoversforthewin!!
google avatar

Tara L.

Yelp
Simply the best. Since moving to providence over a year ago, this place has been the go-to for pizza. First off, the thing is massive! It's thin crust, the perfect texture, and not too greasy. Their sauce has a sweetness to it that I like. Then there's the garlic fries and garlic knots! Try one or both of these, you won't be disappointed. I want to try more on their menu but have not yet. I really appreciate the authenticity and scratch kitchen this place offers and I have never been disappointed. Always happy to support them.
google avatar

Holly S.

Yelp
Ok so I called to get take out . Very accommodating with my needs of no garlic if u add it on my pizza. So I got half meat lovers for my man and half jalapeno bacon for me. So we picked it up bright it home and my half was covered in fresh garlic....... Disappointed but I feel bad complaining ..in saying that I gave a 4 star rating because they work hard and I appreciate that
google avatar

Linda A.

Yelp
Some of the best pizza in the state. You heard me! Yeah, there's a lot of competition and fierce opinion slinging out there on the topic of pizza, but these folks get it RIGHT. It's exactly what I want a pizza to look and taste like. On top of it all, they have a fried calzone that'll make you slap your mama, it's so good. Don't wait. Go now.
