"For a spicy chicken platter lunch in Williamsburg, there’s Nara Chicken. Located in the old Kuku Chicken space on Havemeyer, the concept here is similar: fast casual Korean proteins served with kimchi and rice." - will hartman
One of the best fried chicken I ever had! Get it with the nara spicy garlic dip. Japchae (noodles) were also super delicious. Tteokbokki was not too spicy, good if you like it on the milder side. New favorite spot!

The curry fried rice and chicken tenders will live in my mind rent free. Easy kiosk system to order and service was nice & fast. Seating is limited (~4/5 bar stools) so mostly a takeout place. The crispy fried chicken had great texture & didn’t feel as heavy as regular fried chicken bc the batter was lighter which I appreciated- I’d recommend giving them a quick air fry if you’re doing take out. The curry fried rice was super flavorful & nostalgic, a must order for me. I’d definitely go back.

Genuinely fantastic fried chicken. The tenders have a fairly light but crispy breading that isn't heavy at all. The meat itself is perfectly cooked and clearly high quality. One of the best fried chicken spots around. Great sauces, quick cooking and friendly staff too. You also often end up getting an extra piece of chicken in your order! I've been consistently impressed by their quality!

personally think the fried chicken here is much better than Cocodaq hah
I got the spicy garlic and sweet/spicy wings. I enjoyed both, but if I went back I’d probably only get the spicy garlic. The other one was a little too sweet. Neither were too spicy.
Would be great if they added extra spicy wings at some point.
My partner got the extra spicy beef tofu soup and really liked it.
If you dine in, there’s only 4 seats at the counter.

BEST Korean fried chicken in NYC. Tha sweet and spicy chi bap was delicious, light and flavorful despite being fried. Will come back for sure. Stopped by on a Saturday night and the young man in the front was very nice.

I asked for the spiciest dish, and he recommended the spicy chicken. I was expecting a blaze of heat, like super spicy noodles. But honestly, it was more like a gentle warmth - I'd rate it a 1 out of 10 in terms of spiciness. Still, I enjoyed it!

I’ve tried almost every Korean chicken spot in the city, and this place is the BEST. Garlic chicken highly recommended. Employees are very friendly.

Craving Korean food, I stopped by this little takeout spot and it did not disappoint. The spicy garlic wings were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the bibimbap was fresh, satisfying, and well-balanced. The staff were super friendly, which made the experience even better. A great place for a quick and tasty Korean fix!

Yelp
Got the Spicy Pork platter and it was yummy! The price is very expensive at $25 for just that dish but I will say the flavors were great. Price point makes it too unaffordable to make a casual take-out spot though unfortunately

Yelp
Amazing food and service! The wings and fries were perfectly crispy and the spicy pork was so flavorful. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
All of the food is so delicious and well made with generous portions! The chicken is crispy and juicy, the sauce is amazing, even the bowl tasted so fresh and well seasoned! I don't really post reviews often but this place deserves it

Yelp
As a Korean American that's had trouble finding good Korean food in North Brooklyn, Nara is it. Even though they specialize in chicken, they have the neighborhood's best, most authentic Korean food.
I am a big fan of the soft tofu stew and love their kimchi side dish (good kimchi is a big indicator of how good a Korean restaurant is for me).

Yelp
Generous portions, pork was perfectly cooked, juicy not dry, same with the egg. I'll go again

Yelp
I was in Williamsburg today and I was starving. I was craving Korean chicken and I found Nara chicken and OMG the best Korean chicken I've ever had. 10/10. First, I got the half/half chicken wings and they were so crispy while being juicy on the inside. I also got the lemonade which was super refreshing esp on a 90+ degree day like today. Also the service was great everyone was so chill! If ya wanna support a delicious family owned business check this place out. 10/10

Yelp
Wings and drums are great. Got the junior bucket half and half solid lemonade too. Will be coming back
