Nashville-Themed Bars Are Taking Over America - Eater

"It’s line dancing night at Nash Bar & Stage and a couple dozen folks are out on the floor, smacking their cowboy boots to Ian Munsick’s “I See Country.” This could be any honky-tonk in Nashville, but the Jimmy Fallon look-alike in the Red Sox hoodie gives it away: Nash Bar, a Nashville-themed bar, is actually in Boston." - Daniel Maurer

Where to Find Boozy Milkshakes and Floats in Greater Boston

"This Nashville-inspired restaurant and live music venue serves a couple boozy, dessert-y options to cap off a meal of a crispy chicken skin B.L.T. or pulled pork sliders. There’s the hummingbird cake shake, for one: vodka, vanilla, banana, pineapple, cinnamon, milk, pecan, and whipped cream, with an optional Skrewball peanut butter nip. Booked via OpenTable for a reservation at 1915 on 03May2025 and was warmly greeted; offered a table for 1 but elected to sit at the bar. Bar tenders were slow to acknowledge but it appeared they had just had a large rush of people who had now left for the theaters in the area. I ordered Woodford and soda and the bar tender offered both his made glasses with a splash and 1/2 & 1/2. That was very nice of him. Thank you. I ordered the Carolina style ribs which were excellent and almost fell off the bone. I also ordered their signature cornbread which was delicious (I would highly recommend if you enjoy cornbread. It was delicious) I also ordered their signature chocolate cake. When it arrived it was warm and delicious…just the right “after dinner” amount. The music was very good, country. I enjoyed the live music. This place was very lively. I do recommend and will return. Thank you!

Google
Came here on a trip to Boston. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was very cool and modern. I wouldn't think to go to a place like this while visiting Boston, but it was so worth the stop. The drinks were so good. The chicken sliders were huge and very shareable. The cornbread was phenomenal. The services was quick and friendly and overall had a great experience.

Loved the vibes of this Bar. Visiting for the first time with a bunch of friends was a very nice experience. We ordered a few drinks and a fully loaded nachos enough for a group of chit chatting girl friends. The place was buzzing with peeps of all age groups. Just loved the place located at a convenient location on Tremont street Boston. Both drinks and food were prepared with much love. Definitely going back. Nice staff who explained the drinks clearly.

Google
A little bit of Nashville in Boston!! Only thing missing this Sunday afternoon was some live music (they have it other times). They have line dancing and karaoke too. Chicken sliders were SO GOOD!! Hush puppies were great. Didn't drink today, but there is a full bar with a drink menu.

Google
This place was a good surprise! The food tasted like home made, which is rare. Sure the fries were fries, but the salmon with grits and spinach was creamy and crips and full of flavor in all the right places! So was the stake with masked potatoes and Brussel sprouts. If you don’t see what you like on the menu, then so ask the server if they can adapt something they serve to your preference; they are accommodating. Our server was great, but there were times we needed water, lemon and the server left before we could ask. In short, if you’re here for a show, this place is worth a visit as well.

Google
Was underwhelming. Extremely small portions at almost full size portion prices. Hard to find street parking. Be sure to make reservations.

Google
Good food but incredibly loud in the evening. Not a good place if you want to have a conversation. The menu selection is very bar food which is expected. The drink menu looks good but everything was incredibly watered down and not worth the price. The only thing we were able to really drink that wasn't watered down was beer. At around 9:45 on Friday they moved all the tables out of the way for live music and the band was very talented but it got so loud and full of college kids that our group had to leave. If I were in my early 20s, this place would have been great (minus the watery drinks), but nowadays, it's just too loud and not worth the money. Good location across from the Boch Center.

Came for brunch today, Easter Sunday, with my family. We had a lovely time and an awesome waitress and manager who attended to our needs and questions with the brunch list. Would highly recommend this place located across the Wang Theatre theatre district.

Yelp
Having been here several times for live band karaoke usually on Thursday nights, this was my first time here on the weekend for a late lunch on St. Patrick's day after watching the Cher musical at the Wang theater across the street. Place was fairly crowded but they were able to seat us immediately in the back. I think it was the owner who seated us - I've seen him before when we've been here for karaoke. Service was very friendly. Two of us ordered hot water with lemon and they got those for us no problem. My friend and I both ordered the salmon - I like that they ask how you would like it cooked- I asked for medium well and it was perfect tender flaky. Came with grits with a tomato-ey sauce and spinach. It was quite good. The portion wasn't huge but it was just right. Another friend ordered one of the milkshakes which she enjoyed. Overall nice experience, good food and service in a place with great ambience. The upstairs was closed but we asked the owner if we could just take a look and he said we could. So we went upstairs and took a few pics! Usually on Thursdays they have line dancing downstairs and the live band karaoke upstairs. Go here if you haven't already!

Yelp
Quiet Sunday afternoon, dinner before we were to head to Emerson to see a movie. Made a reservation just in case we needed it. Promptly seated. One page menu, kind of taken back, but rather simple. Can people watch from our table. Waitress was very nice and clean throughout the restaurant, bathroom is down a flight of stairs. I had the steak tips dining companion got buffalo chicken sliders. Tasty, but I wanted more, no worries. I thought it fit the bill, I got to eat and not stuffed. Made note for next time in the theater district.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and drinks before a show and it was hit or miss on food and drinks. The cornbread flavor was good, but texture was dense and doughy, so we didn't finish it. Similarly the whiskey glazed tips and sides had good flavor, but the tips were overdone and chewy. It was also smaller than expected, looked like an app to me. For drinks, the BBQ smoked old fashioned was great, and the smoke show was cool, but the mango mojito was too sweet for me. Service was swift and the ambiance was clean with country flair, but dead on a Thu night. They started to move tables out for line dancing as we were leaving, which seemed fun.

Yelp
Aaron at the bar was wonderful! Super attentive and had great recommendations. We appreciated his service and his willingness to go above and beyond for our party. Thank you!

Yelp
We got the best cocktails!!! The watermelon crush was delicious. All of them are creative and well priced. Our waitress was a lot of fun and attentive. Some of the best fried chicken I've had in boston and the nachos are to die for. Go on a Thursday for line dancing and karaoke!!
google avatar

Yelp
Super fun atmosphere with live music and dim lighting. Super lively inside and they have line dancing on Wednesdays! I enjoyed their watermelon moonshine cocktail a lot. The food is good but you really come here for a good time and drinks.

Yelp
I love this place! I have been here twice already. The drinks sre amazing especially my favorite is the pina colada! The vibes are fun and the food is decent bar food. I would come here again for a good time with friends for good yummy drinks.

Yelp
It's Easter weekend and the restaurants were all packed in Boston. I tried to go to Guy Fieri's Boston Kitchen + Bar and there was a long wait. I ended up at Nash Bar, which too had a long wait for seating, but the bar was open for seating and I was fine with sitting at the bar. Nash Bar is opened by chef Jason Santos, and I've tried Buttermilk & Bourbon a New Orleans-influenced restaurant, and Citrus & Salt, a coastal Mexican restaurant. I loved both these restaurants, Nash Bar I thought was a disappointment because the food is not as good as his other two restaurants. If it's Southern food you're in the mood for, Buttermilk & Bourbon is the better option. Nash Bar's food is more casual and honestly mediocre. I got the chicken tenders with honey mustard and the tenders were big but they weren't incredible. The fish tacos were ok, plus the grilled avocado salad and Wagyu sliders are forgettable. All in all the food was ordinary and didn't live up to the food I've experienced before at the other JS restaurants, which was incredible. Plus sitting at the bar we didn't get much service or attention. Nobody checked in on us or asked us if we needed anything, or refills on our drinks so that was a flop. The live music was nice but live music means it's loud and it's hard to talk to the people around you without shouting. Nash Bar is not as good as the other JS restaurants, which is sad because I know the food could have been outstanding.

Yelp
Stopped by here during one of their themed brunches (Taylor Swift themed... lol). Decor inside was cute, and the service was excellent. There was a live singer which was a nice touch, although the speakers were maybe tuned too loud, which was a bit distracting and made it difficult to have conversations. However, she was great and having live music definitely was fun. In terms of food, the pulled pork Benedict and chicken and waffles came with great portions and the flavors were excellent, although definitely on the heavier side. Drinks were a bit sweet and not very strong. Overall, would stop by for the food and drinks if craving brunch food with a Southern influence and live music.

Yelp
We had such a great time, Josh was so nice, and the bartender was such a cutie like they Made my best friends birthday super special

Yelp
We didn't eat as we came from brunch. The music was wonderful, the servers kind and the decorations make you want to book a trip to Nashville. The drinks were good, but a little pricey for the quality. Highly recommend you go with friends and enjoy the music!!

Yelp
Found this great place right across the street from the Wang Center. The staff was incredibly welcoming and they had a guitarist and vocalist performing when we walked in. They were serving both brunch and dinner; my daughter ordered the bbq pulled pork egg benedict and I went with the waygu burgers and onions sliders. We split an order of the fried calamari and a large piece of the cheddar and sour cream cornbread with honey butter. Everything was perfect and they feature small plates which are small servings that are perfect for sharing. Combine the food and atmosphere with the live entertainment and it was just a fantastic eating experience. Any time I attend an event in the theater district, I'll be returning to the Nash Bar and Stage.

Yelp
Came in on a very busy Saturday night. The restaurant was nice enough to hold our table for us a little past our reservation time because we got stuck in bad traffic. The musician they had was great, and the whole upstairs seemed to be having fun. Our whole party enjoyed their food and drinks, I'm in love with the cornbread. The place was so busy we had a bit of trouble ordering more items, but our server was extremely pleasant and polite and the food came out really fast. Overall definitely recommend this spot for a night out!

Yelp
We came here for some drinks at the bar and had a pretty decent time . They had about 8-10 beers on draft and a few bottle options . The bartender though it's her first day on the job did well ! As we were leaving , more people were coming . I'm curious to try the food as it's owned by a celebrity chef .

Yelp
We were in Boston for the night from out of town, and decided to stop in for some comfort food and drinks. I will say that the food was fantastic, and we enjoyed the drinks. However, we were extremely disappointed because we ordered the tubby for two, and it came in a large drinking glass. Although the drink was very good, to charge $35 for something that is the size of a typical drink seems to be outrageous. Especially when it's advertised to be a small bathtub. We would not have had any issues, had that been communicated ... but to be charged the same amount and not got what we were expecting was extremely disappointing.

Yelp
Came here over the weekend in hopes of having an appetizer & a few drinks. As soon as we walked in the hostess & patrons looked at us as if we were out of place. As we 2/4 of the only people of color in the establishment We were trying to ask the host about seating but the bad was so loud she could barely hear me. We opted to just grab some shots and maybe sit at the bar. We were pretty much ignored so we only opted for 2 rounds of shots, and I wish we only ordered one. The "green tea" shots were on tap and tasted like sprite with food coloring in it, highly do NOT recommend Don't think I'd be back, but I will say the decor would make for some nice photos

Demi C.

Yelp
Great spot for a big group. Also best nachos in town. I know, it's southern food but trust me. I'm guessing they kept the chef when it use to be Abby Lane and kept the nachos on the menu? Manager Sylvie (not sure how to spell his name) so personable and checked-in on our table. Thanks!
google avatar

Jen B.

Yelp
Have been here before and thought was just off night with food, drinks and service so tried it again. Tonight, the only employee we saw was the bartender who was miserable, inattentive and didn't care that the bar was out of several requested beers. The atmosphere was in line with her vibe. Tolerated one drink, which was watered down, and out. I work too hard to waste my time and money around an unhappy employee. Where is the manager or owner? The W around the corner now has our business!!
google avatar

Melanie R.

Yelp
The food was very bland. Spent a total of $100 and was very disappointed. The drinks were water downed and very mediocre. Ordered bbq wings and they had no bbq which was odd. Only good thing about the restaurant was the service. Ambiance was okay. Just wish the music wasn't so loud. Won't be returning. Do yourself the favor and go elsewhere, the food is not worth the money and you could get better food at McDonalds.

Yelp
Not really a fan of this place. I came here before seeing Riverdance at the Wang (Boch Center) across the street. I was by myself, so I was able to squeeze into the last available bar seat. It took a while to get the bartender's attention. The man to my left had his credit card ready to pay before I even sat down and the couple to my right were trying to order another round of drinks. We all had to wait as the bartender stayed at the other end of the bar for quite a while. A lot of the drinks seemed to be on the sweet side, so I ordered a Berry Basic with Angel's Envy bourbon instead of the Grey Goose vodka because I thought it might cut the sweetness. Nope! I couldn't even tell there was booze in it, to be honest. For food, I went with the "jumbo wings" with buffalo sauce. The "jumbo wings" were 4 full wings - not really jumbo, but also super dry and not tasty. I'm glad I wasn't hungry because I had a few bites and left the rest. The buffalo sauce was sparse and didn't really taste like much. And dry chicken speaks for itself. Not good. I made sure to get my check when the food was dropped because I didn't want to wait 10+ minutes for the bartender to come back my way. It's a convenient location to the theater district, but there are much better restaurants in the area.
google avatar

Daniel W.

Yelp
There were really fascinating drinks. I thought it was interesting to try watermelon ice cream with sparkling wine which I did not really enjoy personally. The drinks were pretty pricey but the vibes is really lively inside. The servers were really nice too.
google avatar

Blanca B.

Yelp
Only gave it 4 stars because I'm not a fan of country music. But.....this place is great. Lol. I ordered the whiskey glazed steak tips, and the chicken and waffles. Steak was super tender. The brussels sprouts are made with bacon and they were incredible. The cheddar potato purée was also pretty good. Chicken tenders and waffles was probably one of the best I've ever had. Parmesan and peppercorn butter, country, gravy, maple chipotle, syrup. Boozy milkshake of the month: Shakin Up To Boston. Ordered the Old Fashion: *Fun fact: the whiskey is soaked in wagyu beef for 2 days then strained 10 times to remove the beef taste. They serve your drink and smoke it in front of you. Sooooo good! Very friendly bartenders!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped by here before a show at the Wilbur. I had seen pictures and such of this place so I was very excited to try it! Do not be put off by the bad reviews before me... I thought it was great! Tapas style so the food comes out when it was ready which was perfect for my group of 4 sharing apps. We got the nachos with burnt ends on it and the chicken and waffles. Enough for four of us to finish and be satisfied, both were delicious. The nachos had a cheese dusting on the chips that added a nice touch and the waffle was seasoned to perfection. We got fun drinks like watermelon sugar high and tried the moonshine bathtub shots (highly recommend the peach flavor). I had a great time and would recommend to all! Our server was so sweet and the service was good. Don't let the knit picking reviewers fool you, this place has great food, drinks and vibe!

Yelp
The wife and I decided to pop in prior to seeing, Jagged Little Pill, at the Boston Opera House and what a great idea this was! When you walk in, and I've been to Nashville many times, you instantly get that feel, the decor is really spot on. Admittedly we are fans of Jason's (Hells Kitchen/ Bar Rescue) and have been to one of his other restaurants, Buttermilk and Bourbon, and this place is right up there! Walked in, greeted by a very friendly manager, where we stated we were going to check out the bar. The restaurant was very quiet. The bar seats about 14 comfortably but was only about 5 patrons at the bar. We were greeted quickly and our bartender, wish I had got his name, was very knowledgeable and took his time go through the drink menu a bit. I settled on a Tito's and lemonade, which was refreshing, tasted wonderful. The wife had a watermelon sangria and almost chugged it, safe to say the drinks hit the spot, we may have indulged, over indulged (depends how you look at it) in a couple more. Now, the food, it was delicious! Man, I've seen some scathing reviews on the food, I suppose those reviews may have been during a peek time? But for us, food was tremendous. Started with boneless tenders, the Whiskey Barbecue sauce, these were fantastic! Chicken was juicy, perfectly crispy and just a little bit of a bite in the sauce, these were tremendous. Followed that up with 2 Wagyu Sliders, delicious! I mean the flavor, spot on, highly recommend! I also ordered a side of the southern slaw, I love slaw, this was ridiculous how good it was, not to much spice at all, right about creaminess, and just fantastic on the pallet. Wife ordered the Mac and Cheese and that was extraordinarily well done. Below based on 5 stars Service. **** Location. **** Food. **** Cleanliness. *** 1/2 Restrooms. *** 1/2 Ambiance. **** Overall. ****

Yelp
We made a reservation for my friends birthday and we got the worst service i've ever received at a boston restaurant. we attempted to order the bathtub, but the waitress informed me that they only had one, however the advertise this all over their social media. the waitress was rude and ignored our table the entire evening. after placing our food on order she did not come back once. we only bought one round of drinks as the waitress did not return one time. the original bill did NOT show gratuity, however AFTER the card was charged, it was shown they tipped 20%. we were hoping to spend the night at this bar, however both the manager and servers provide AWFUL service, overpriced food, and the overall vibe was lazy servers drinking in the corner.

Al S.

Yelp
Our first visit and DEFINITELY not our last. Cat, our server, was wonderful. Very attentive and provided us with aomw great menu suggestions. The food was DELICIOUS!!! We had the waygu sliders and pulled pork sandwich. We also grabbed a piece of the corn bread. BEST EVER. We will certainly be back!!
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
Only one waitress on and the place a packed for a Sunday evening. The waitress did a phenomenal job of making sure everyone was happy I will definitely be returning.

Trixie F.

Yelp
High hopes for this place, but food was just meh. I had recently returned from Nashville last year and was eager to try this place to bring back memories of a great trip, but didn't happen. Fun vibe , even though I was there in the afternoon. I'm sure it's a whole different scene with live music. Very limited menu. Server was lovely and efficient. Food was really hit-or-miss....Cornbread was great; grits were inedible blue mush. Others enjoyed the chicken sliders, avocado salad. Good drinks though! Next time will come for liquid lunch, catch some music and go hit Dave's Hot Chicken across the street.
google avatar

Yelp
I had a good experience here tonight! I really think the drink menu is the high point here... they had tons of cocktails which honestly all sounded good. I had a tough time deciding because I wanted them all! The one I did get was fruity whisky-based deliciousness and I was very happy with it. The food was good (I had the jalapeño burger sliders), and I appreciated the size of the meal in that I didn't leave feeling over full. That being said it was probably a little bit expensive for what it was. Dessert underwhelmed me. The sweet potato pancake puppies sounded delish but they didn't have much flavor and the glaze they came with was a bit thin. Overall the ambiance was fun, the folks working there were super friendly, and I would definitely go back for more delicious cocktails!

Brenna D.

Yelp
Completely random that I came here tonight, but 100% will be back. The atmosphere is full country, and I heard they have line dancing lessons, live acoustic, and live bands in different nights. They are debuting a new menu, so I asked them to surprise me. I would have NEVER ordered the beet salad (I didn't think I liked them), but this was one of the best things I've ever eaten! (Sauce is a blood orange vinaigrette). And the calamari.....to die for!! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Yelp
Bad food, worse music, staff was inattentive and lacked basic knowledgeabout the beer. , place was a mess. Don't know how this one stays open.
google avatar

Veronica B.

Yelp
Stopped by for desserts before a show at the Shubert Theater and it was great! Sat promptly, kind server, fast food. Wonderful experience!
google avatar

Chris F.

Yelp
The music is honestly amazing. The staff does a good job of finding good bands to play here that match the ambiance and scenery. The drinks however are a different story. If you get anything mixed with soda, just expect it to have a hint of hose water. Rubbery and gross. Cosmo, martini also not good. The food tries to be southern also gross. Not one place in the south puts pickled onions on anything. That is all for now but I might add on later.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed Nash Bar. We were in Boston for a week and wanted something different for dinner. What a cool find. Full disclosure, the only table available was upstairs. Unfortunately, it smelled like a bar. That's fine for a bar, I didn't want to eat dinner smelling old alcohol. So, we sat at the actual bar downstairs and it was great! The kitchen is open air & visible, so you can see how clean and efficient an operation they run back there. The bartenders were very kind and helpful. We split the big nachos and had a few drinks. The whiskey flight was delicious and well presented.

Michael S.

Yelp
Went with a group of 9 and 5 of us were double charged. 11 pm on a Friday and everyone in the bar (about 75 total, dead night) shared similar stories of overcharging. Legitimately illegal practice. also there was not live music on Friday night; we stayed for 2 hours and heard nothing but loud Dance music blasted through a speaker

Lily H.

Yelp
The food was good but the service was not at all. The server would not even look at us our check with a card sticking out was there for 30 minutes and she wouldn't take it. I am a server and I know she's busy but to never ask ur table if they want anything after the first round is weird and honestly unprofessional. Shouldn't have to call a bus boy to order food
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
We had a great beginning of the night until our check came and was all sorts of messed up. I've never seen drinks rung in with a charge of $4 for ice. Our server rang in all other 4 drinks as premium tequila when we ordered house margaritas. And our friends check had food items which were never served. Unfortunately, our server was unable to help us and her coworker who I assume was not the manager by his approach and attitude towards the situation seemed bothered by our complaints and annoyed when we were being incorrectly charged. He proceeded to argue with me stating I ordered the Casa Amigos and then turned around to remove $10. He claimed they were busy and then called us rude. Sadly this was our first and last time at this establishment. I called and tried to speak with a manager and was told they were unavailable.

Yelp
So, I can see why the reviews aren't phenomenal. I think it's probably better here for food and drinks after work. Food: We had an order of the nachos which went by wicked fast. Seems like this is the go-to order here. I will say it was plenty for 3 people. I ordered a plate of wings, but the serving was tinier than I thought it would be. It was about 4 barbecue wings, but they weren't very barbecue-y. But certainly flavorful and not dry. Drinks: I really liked the Mango. I ordered the shake, which was aesthetically fun considering the fruity pebbles and shake glass it comes out in. Ambiance: a bit bustling, live music, tighter indoor seating, and lip stick painted kisses on the walls for a hip vibe

Eliza T.

Yelp
Fuck this place so hard. Tried to get tickets for the new years event and got totally screwed. Nowhere on the eventbrite event listing did it say anything about only first floor or second floor when we bought them weeks in advance. We got the most expensive ticket that said "tier 2" assuming we'd be on the second floor in but NO! It never said anything about only being first floor access. Tier 2 apparently did not mean second floor. So misleading. Absolute bullshit.
google avatar

Angela P.

Yelp
Vibes are fun and food is good, unfortunately our server was too busy socializing with their friend at the bar and our drinks took longer than 20 minutes... I've worked in food industry so I understand the struggle and would like to give a better review -- but it was really a turn off to see her not doing her job. Yikes.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to Nash Bar three times and have yet to try the food. This review is purely about the nightlife and the experience I had upstairs. The first time I got in it was super crowded (not to anyone's fault) and I enjoyed it a lot. Why? Because at this point in time, the live band played half country music and half a mix of classic rock/pop punk. It was just enough country to keep me going though the night but I was a little surprised to see how diluted it the music was but I still enjoyed myself as I enjoy ALL music. I got myself a Nash Light from the bar (they make this lager in house) and it was okay in my opinion. My second visit was within a different live band and the country music to other music ratio was still half and half. Still crowded, still a good amount of country. My third visit was with a different live band and I was actually appalled. They played everything BUT country aside from Man I Feel Like a Woman and Tennessee Whiskey. They played a cover version of About Damn Time which I really enjoyed but that is not country! Now, you might ask: "Why don't you blame the band and not the establishment?" Here is my answer: The establishment is responsible for hiring live bands and talent that cater to the specific niche it is trying to portray. Loretta's Last Call in Fenway is a good example (and the only other "honky tonk" in Boston) that is very selective to the live bands they have perform on Friday and Saturday nights. Why Nash Bar decided to hire a live band that plays classic rock and other types of music is beyond me. I'm not saying that honky tonks in Nashville and bars in Austin don't play other music, because they do, but if you're in a northern city like Boston and expect to feel like you're in Nashville, you won't, at least on that night. Perhaps there weren't enough live bands that were able to perform country to go around to pick and choose? Highly unlikely but it's not an excuse. It's really a shame that I walked in after having two good experiences and left disappointed. I was gazing upon neon signs that are emblazoned with the words "whiskey" and "honky tonk" while hearing a cover of Sweet Child O' Mine. No matter how many neon signs you put up of hot chicken that you serve (I would like to try) and honky tonks and displays of pink cowboy hats does not make Guns N Roses more country than it is. You would get more of a country aesthetic from a coffee shop in Seattle than you would here. Now I will say that the guitarist on the first floor was doing a very good job on helping Nash Bar maintain its honky tonk image because his performance was true country and his image and dress reflected that as well. It went well with the giant sign near the stairs of "Nashville Looks Good On You". Yes, Nashville looked great downstairs, but she wasn't around upstairs.

Yelp
Excellent sliders, good potato wedges, and good Mac and cheese. The sliders are a perfect mix of umami (beef), pickled onions and mayo. Perfectly cooked beef on a buttery soft bun. Service was a little slow for a Saturday lunch, understandable considering it was just two servers/hosts for a 1/2 full restaurant (40-50 guests). The Country duet was entertaining with a mixture of country music classics and country version top 20 songs. The music was a bit loins, as others have noted, but it is a good time with almost perfect sliders.

Yelp
I wouldn't of had to come here if the brunch promoters weren't deleting comments off of their social media pages so i came here since it is nash bar that serves the food and drinks. DO NOT GO TO BENT BRUNCH HERE! Especially if you are hungry, the meals portions are insanely small for the prices which are outrageous! Its a night club environment and they throw the word brunch in there! Nash bar if this is a promotional issue then i would let B.ent entertainment know some adjustments need to be made otherwise nash bar looks bad

Yelp
Awful for brunch, don't bother!!! There was only one waiter for the entire downstairs and no hostess, I should've taken that as a sign. The calamari appetizer was awful and definitely pre-bought frozen instead of them making it on their own. The chicken and waffles were awful and barely edible. The chicken was hideous quality and the waffles had no flavor. The gravy was disgusting, and the syrup was awful also. This wouldn't make me want to even try dinner because it was so bad. It seems like one of those hideous tourist traps in the theater district that's awful, good luck if you go there!

Yelp
Boston College Dance. Stole money ($30) from college kids and made them wait 30 minutes outside and then 20+ minutes downstairs downstairs to go upstairs. I cannot think of a worse experience at a bar. What horrible experience (which is bad because it had potential to be good) What an effing scam.

Yelp
Really loved this place, nachos were delicious and vibe with live music was so nice. Recommend the nachos and beignets. Probably wouldn't get the tacos again

Yelp
Went there on the official opening night. The music was great (at first); we ate downstairs. The service was very good. The food is quite good although like the other restaurants in this group I don't think it's outstanding. It's on the higher end of good however. We've tried the jalapeño sliders which were excellent. The Cobb salad which was also excellent. The burnt end fries were not very good - there was hardly any meat on it and they put queso at the bottom of the dish which made the fries all soggy. Their cheddar and sour cream cornbread was absolutely outstanding and also doubles as a dessert. The drinks were quite tasty although full of a lot of sugar, the old fashions I ordered were also quite good. I should comment on the music. The first acoustic artist was very good. Very very Nashville. The second one when we were there was OK but a bit of a downer. The place needs some more high impact music. The vibe inside was very low-key, and not at all what Loretta's last call is like. Wow I think the downstairs is made more for dinner and low-key acoustic is fine down there the upstairs should be a little bit more wild. If you're going to re-create Nashville you should recreatate Nashville. Overall it's a good scene in downtown Boston with a lot of potential and I hope they continue to bring good live music in. The spot has a lot of potential. I do recommend that they put out a hot chicken sandwich as it is Nashville after all...

Yelp
The food is fine but I would definitely come here for the live music. Upstairs they have a live band and a bar and that's the reason to go here. It's Nashville cowboy themed with fun / quirky sayings on the walls. Very fun atmosphere.
