Indian & Tex-Mex fusion curries, tacos & margaritas

"Indian food with influences from Texas and Mexico can be found at this East Austin restaurant. Look for spicy curries, paneer quesadillas, keema (ground lamb) enchiladas, and South Asian tacos with fillings like chicken Tandoori and lamb masala. The fusion approach carries over into the margarita menu with a curried version, a cardamon one, and a pomegranate option. There is another location on South Congress and a Bee Cave location, and all have a playful and colorful design. While the South Congress spot is more of a typical outlet in a strip mall and only has seats inside the vibrant restaurant, the one on East 7th is host to both a well-sized and shaded patio, along with tables inside. Anyone uninterested in dining out can always pick up an order to-go or have it delivered by Favor." - Deven Wilson
"The East Austin restaurant melds Mexican and Indian cuisines into wide-ranging vegetarian dishes. Expect dishes like saag or paneer enchiladas, daals, and biryani. There’s a second location near Southpark Meadows. Dine inside or on the patio at the restaurant that’s as colorful and eclectic as its cuisine. Ordering takeout online or delivery via DoorDash and Favor is also an option." - Erin Russell

"An easy place for larger groups, the Blackshear-Prospect Hill restaurant on East Seventh Street focuses on Texas-Mexican-Indian cuisine for fun lunches and dinners. Takeout and delivery orders can be placed online; there are Favor deliveries; and there are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Nadia Chaudhury
"I learned that Nasha halted its dine-in service as of Thursday, June 25 for similar COVID-related reasons and is staying open for takeout and deliveries through Favor and DoorDash, according to an email from team member Anusuia Mangaonkar." - Nadia Chaudhury
