Instead of Wenchang chicken from Hainan, they use local chicken for leaner, softer and juicier meat. Besides steamed chicken, the short menu showcases various chicken dishes, such as fried chicken, sesame honey, salted egg yolk, or even Kung Pao sauce. There are also Malay and Thai dishes. This chicken rice establishment holds a special place in my heart, as it has been a part of my life since my childhood in the 1980s. I recall it as a modest stall operated by an elderly Hainanese lady. The grilled chicken was exceptionally succulent and flavorful, complemented perfectly by their signature butter rice. Their special chili paste further enhanced the overall taste experience. Currently, they are expanding their business to meet Michelin standards. The quality of the food has slightly decreased, but it still remains delicious. However, the pricing is a bit high. On the whole, I still yearn for it.

How do you get michellin star?? Quarter size of omelette udang is RM18!? Worst presentation!! Akak tomyam tepi jalan omelette less than RM8 is better than yours! Asking the boss, he ignored my question and turned around. Disappointed, this is my 5th time and last!!

I love this Nasi Ayam. Everything is perfect and delicious. The taste is consistent since the last 14 years ago. Staffs are friendly and fast service. You should try their nasi goreng Hainan and kerabu mango 😘

It is a decent Nasi Ayam Hainan with a good portion of chicken. But it is getting pricier after it was awarded the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand. A pax of chicken rice with a drink can cost almost RM20

One of the good chicken rice shops in this area. Service is fast. Chicken rice with roast chicken is the dish to venture here. Bean sprouts were amazingly fresh. You can find parking in Scott Garden/Decathlon, a quick walk.

I seriously find the ratings n review here ludicrous.... No offense. I eat a lot of chicken rice, but this is not good chicken rice. Price is blardy expensive for such chicken rice... Halal chicken rice - yes. But its merely mediocre. Portion is OK. Rice is ok aromatic. But the roasted chicken is js bland... i hope someday, someone could really make very very good halal chicken rice for our fellow malays. Someone should try out the chinese chicken rice (i mean dont order the roasted pork la). I wonder what the Michelin inspector smokin....

Taste almost exactly the same as the branch in Bukit Bintang, which was amazing. The rice was fragrant, the chicken was succulent, the "kangkong belacan" was very tasty & crunchy. The price is on the average side (Definitely not cheap, but not too expensive). All in all a very good experience.

Good service and atmosphere Price not worth for just a normal chicken rice, the meat is mediocre and can be dry in se part. You can definitely can get better option that is non-halal But if you needed you food to be halal, this level deserve extra-stars Overall good store 💯
