This chicken rice establishment holds a special place in my heart, as it has been a part of my life since my childhood in the 1980s. I recall it as a modest stall operated by an elderly Hainanese lady. The grilled chicken was exceptionally succulent and flavorful, complemented perfectly by their signature butter rice. Their special chili paste further enhanced the overall taste experience.
Currently, they are expanding their business to meet Michelin standards. The quality of the food has slightly decreased, but it still remains delicious. However, the pricing is a bit high.
On the whole, I still yearn for it.
