Trump’s Restaurant Industry Conference Call Only Included Major Chains | Eater

"A national retail trade association, described in the text as the world's largest, participated in the administration's call with major fast-food executives; its inclusion underscored the briefing's focus on large corporate and retail interests during discussions about keeping drive-thru operations open and shaping potential relief measures, a focus that commentators say came at the expense of independent restaurant voices." - Monica Burton

Any organization that would insist on advocating for higher taxes should be avoided. They seem to forget that many small retailers both sell and buy online as well. As a brick and mortar retailer, I find the idea that sales taxes are a major stumbling block to local retail sales to be ludicrous. Local retailers offer many advantages that online retailers cannot match. We do not need to create more tax collectors for the states.
