"An intimate, neighborhood-focused restaurant housed in the Rice Mill Lofts that began as a Bywater American Bistro in 2018 and was renamed in 2024; it offered a polished-casual vibe and a modern American menu with prominent nods to the chef’s Caribbean roots. The James Beard Award–winning chef and her husband, who live in the neighborhood, closed the restaurant with last service on May 31; their publicist stressed the decision was planned in advance and was not due to a seasonal slowdown.
