"The Hill Country Indian restaurant’s menu is the full gamut of South Asian cuisines, such as naan, dal, kormas, and briyani. There are also fun specials, like the bread pakora (essentially a fried sandwich with mashed potatoes) and chicken kebab wraps. Takeout orders can be placed online; there are indoor dine-in services." - Erin Russell, Nadia Chaudhury

This little restaurant in the middle of Dripping Springs is truly a hidden gem! I ordered butter chicken extra spicy and it was the most flavorful butter chicken I've ever had! The garlic Naan was above par as well. My husband also really enjoyed his Tiki Masala, but truthfully, he liked mine better. He enjoyed a Taj beer and i an Electric Jellyfish draft. Sakshi, the owner along with her husband were so kind and attentive. We were only one of two tables in the restaurant today, so it was really nice to get to have a chat with Sakshi. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Dripping Springs or just passing through. As the sign says on the way in, let the array of spices and different flavors dance on your tatebuds!

Amazing! Sit at the bar, chat with the owners and enjoy the wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We ordered the dumplings, a samosa, the butter chicken and goat curry. The sauce that came with the dumplings and is a mix of tamarind, chili and dates, truly outstanding. It was all truly delicious and we had enough to take home for another small meal.

We were craving for Indian cuisine and grateful to have one in Dripping Springs. Natkhat is a hidden gem that deserves a huge compliment when it comes to authentic Indian foods and customer service. The owners were so nice and warm. She offered a taste sampling when we were unsure what to order. Also, it is important to note that they deal with their customers in a personal way. I love the most is when they call you by name. Foods were so flavorful and aromatic. Love their chicken achari, butter chicken, flaky paratha and the sweet balls. We left the place super full and with a happy tummy.

** A Memorable Family Gathering at Natkhat Flavors ** We recently had a family gathering at Natkhat Flavors, and it turned into one of the most special and memorable dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with genuine warmth by the owners, Sakshi and Raj—two of the kindest, most passionate people we’ve met. It felt less like walking into a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors and made with such care and attention. Our favorites included the rich and creamy Butter Chicken, flavorful Chicken Tikka Masala, juicy Chicken Kabob Wraps, and tender Chicken Tikka Bites. For the vegetarians in our group, the Chana Masala, Gobhi Masala, Palak Paneer, and Dal Tadka were comforting, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. The Garlic Naan was fresh and fluffy—perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. We also appreciated the thoughtful option to customize the spice level for both chicken and vegetarian dishes, which made the meal enjoyable for everyone in our group. And for dessert, the warm, syrupy Gulab Jamun was the perfect sweet ending, along with a refreshing Mango Lassi to cool everything down. This wasn’t just a meal—it was a heartfelt experience. Sakshi and Raj's love for food and people shines through in every bite and every interaction. Thank you for making our family feel so welcome and for creating a space filled with flavor, warmth, and genuine care. We can’t wait to come back again soon. 💛💛

It is hard to find good, fresh Indian, but come here and you won't be disappointed. The quality of their true tandoori chicken is incredible.

Google
This place is absolutely amazing! I’ve never been a big fan of Indian cuisine. It’s always seemed as if it was too hot and over powered the flavor. Not the case here. The heat is perfect and the flavor is on point. The service was friendly and engaging. I will be back for sure!

Google
We drove 25 min. From Blanco and boy was it worth it! I had Chicken Tikka and my vegetarian wife had the lentil dish and vegetable dumplings. Both dishes super flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. Not too spicy, just perfect and bursting with flavor. Nicely decorated and clean inside. Super friendly and helpful staff. We’ll be back for sure!

If you’re looking for an authentic and delicious meal, Natkhat is definitely the right choice! Their recipes are fantastic, the staff and owners are so friendly. Their recipes are fantastic. The restaurant is clean and maintained. I always feel like I’m eating a home cooked meal with family when I come. My favorite is the chicken Korma, Butter chicken, and samosa chat. Thanks Natkhat!

Yelp
Stopped in last Saturday evening for a bite and was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food and the service was. Authentic Indian food which is hard to get unless you're in the big cities or in Asia. What a gem! Will be back the next time I'm back in Austin.

Yelp
If you're looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience in Dripping Springs, look no further than Natkhat Flavors. They live up to their tagline, "A dance on your tastebuds," with every dish bursting with incredible flavors and spices. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the warm and welcoming Joseph family, who make you feel like you're not just a guest, but part of their family. The menu at Natkhat Flavors is extensive, offering a wide array of traditional Indian dishes with a creative twist. My personal favorite is the Chicken Changezi - succulent pieces of chicken cooked in a rich, flavorful tomato-based sauce. Order it with the garlic naan - you'll thank me later! And Rajeev's twist on the "Old Fashioned" is amazing. We're still trying to figure out what he does to make it taste so good! Oh... and a word of caution: come hungry! The portions at Natkhat Flavors are generous, and the food is so delicious that we always order too much since we love to try a little bit of everything. But hey, the leftovers are just as tasty the next day. :-)

Gigi W.

Yelp
My husband Steve and I went for lunch today at Natkhat to give it a try and we were thrilled. Wonderful delicious food, friendly and welcoming staff and the menu has something for everyone ! Full bar and great service. I recommend 100% go treat yourself Gigi Worth

Kiet L.

Yelp
Glad to see an Indian restaurant in DS. Ordered the butter chicken and the chicken Afghani with a side of basmati rice and garlic naan bread. The curries were good, I liked the butter chicken better than the afghani. But I would say the free papadam and garlic naan bread were the highlights. Super friendly service and welcoming ambience.

Tom T.

Yelp
We absolutely fell in love with Natkhat Flavors. The staff treated our large party like royalty and the entire evening was awesome. All of the dishes tasted delicious and their unique flavors really blossomed. All of the appetizers were amazing. The Rogan Josh was our favorite dish. All of the chicken was sadly overcooked and dry but the tasty flavor made a good effort to make up for that.

Sayil M.

Yelp
Natkhat is a treasure! 'A dance on your tastebuds' - this couldn't be more true. I went with my family and we felt at home as soon as we walked in, hit with beautiful smells and such hospitality. The samosas were full with soft potatoes and veggies - the dough was so light and browned to perfection. We tried the eggplant special and it was out of this world. The paratha and naan are homemade magic perfect for sopping up all the scrumptious sauces like the chicken changezi or palak paneer. This is a hidden gem that everyone should know about. Everything we ate was so delicious. We will definitely be back. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors. Don't wait!!!

Celena S.

Yelp
The food at Natkhat is pretty great. Nothing to complain about at all. We have only ordered takeaway and each time it's been a correct order and a decent portion. I get the butter chicken and it's very good. We did get the garlic naan and it was soggy and not the greatest so we took off a star for that - I'm willing to bet though, if I ate it at the restaurant and not takeaway it would be better so once we eat it here they'd earn that last star! We are so thankful to have an Indian restaurant in Dripping Springs!! It's so much better than all the other chains - I'd pick it over them always.

Tina R.

Yelp
The food is absolutely amazing, the restaurant is nice and clean and the service was impecable. The owner actually came by to check on everyone, and was so nice. It's a new staple in our weekly meals

John A.

Yelp
Just popped in for some takeout and to try the restaurant. It was very clean and the staff were super friendly. It was my first time here so I got some of my usual favorites; garlic naan, cumin rice, butter chicken, and tikka masala. They did not disappoint. Exactly the flavors my wife and I were hoping for. We have found our new dinner spot when we're craving something with bold flavors.

Oz E.

Yelp
This location has a homey feel to it. Everything from the friendly owner to the cozy food makes this dining experience enjoyable. As I said the food is delicious. It is flavorful, filling, and overall simply delicious. Of course, there were plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. My only complaint about this location is the service. The owners were incredibly friendly (as I mentioned before) but seated outside, my family and I were rarely given refills and did not receive any service other than being given our meals. Perhaps that is our fault for choosing to seat outside. Nonetheless, I still recommend this location: just come with a bit of patience :)

Mahesh P.

Yelp
Home cooking in a restaurant? Yes!!! This is the place to be when you want to really truly feel at home, the food has that unique specific "made with love" touch to it that is not at all easy to get. And oh yeah, the service matches too - they're friendly, they're nice, *they care* So yeah, go there, enjoy, be happy

Barrrett S.

Yelp
Had lunch with mom here today for her birthday and was absolutely blown away with this place. Warmly greeted with a huge smile and our server, Brodie, was the epitome of customer service. The owners came to our table and went over the entire menu with us and even brought samples. I'm so glad to know this is place is in the neighborhood and will definitely make this our new weekly lunch date. Thanks for an awesome experience and delicious birthday lunch!

Hazel Z.

Yelp
Everything is delicious! We eat here frequently and have never been disappointed. Everyone is kind and welcoming. You can taste the love they put into every meal. Thank you!

Jordan A.

Yelp
The best Indian food within a 45 minute radius. Very friendly staff. 10/10 would come again.

Shari S.

Yelp
First, I want to say that my husband and I are thrilled that there is an Indian Restaurant in Dripping Springs! We go to Natkhat at least once a week. The owners are so welcoming, warm and friendly, the ambiance is inviting and peaceful, and we love the food! Everything we have tried is flavorful, nicely spiced, and some of the best Indian food we have had anywhere. We always get Cumin Rice and Garlic Naan with our meal, and try something different often. Some of our favorites are: Butter Chicken, Chana Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Baingan Bharta, and Dal, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We know everything we eat is made with love and is care.

Steve H.

Yelp
Gigi and I had an excellent lunch there today! We highly recommend that you try them out!

Harlon W.

Yelp
We heard about your restaurant through a friend. So today, I looked at the menu on your website. The first problem was that a WhatsApp window pops up on the right side of the screen, and there is no way to get rid of it! It covers up almost a third of the screen, so one has to move the main screen up and down to be able to read the menu! The menu was not clear to understand, so we decided to visit your restaurant and decide there. We were first met with your QR code ordering system which we decided would be too awkward to deal with on a cell phone. So the waitress offered to bring a tablet with a larger screen. That proved to be rather awkward as well. We did manage to order a chicken dish, an okra dish, and two kinds of bread, garlic, & some kind of butter bread. The ordering process was very slow, as was the serving of the food! When the food finally arrived, we observed that both dishes were literally swimming in red-orange grease or oil! The chicken was tough, and the okra was severely overcooked! The garlic bread was acceptable, but the butter bread was excessively greasy! This had to be the most unsavory meal that I have ever had in a restaurant! It certainly was not worth the $36+ that I was charged for it! Needless to say, we will not be returning, and we will not recommend your restaurant to others!

Kevin W.

Yelp
Really good! So happy to have a dependable Indian restaurant in the area. They have good variety, but don't overwhelm with too many options. Nice people and quality food. Definite recommend.

Amber T.

Yelp
Food is flavorful with high quality meat. They are consistently great and service is quick.

Brandon B.

Yelp
So glad to have some awesome Indian food out in Drip. At least once a month my wife get's a craving for some quality Indian food and now we just have to drive a few minutes down the road from us. Food is always great and the family the runs the place is always so kind.

Ron R.

Yelp
This is the best Indian I've had in the Austin area. Consistently excellent. Recommend the palak paneer, butter chicken, chicken biryani, and veg korma. I am also a sucker for rasmalai and theirs is great.

Christina N.

Yelp
What I really appreciated about my meal was the flavors. Definitely recommend ordering a variety of dishes and sharing dishes. There is a lovely bar area here as well with local beer on tap and a good variety of cocktails.

Kristin B.

Yelp
Wow. this place is so yummy. Best Indian food in the hill country. Don't miss the Butter Chicken, rice, and garlic Nan bread. The sauces are simply delicious. All the chicken is organic. There is a drive thru window for orders to go and she does catering. We will be back often.

Robert M.

Yelp
FIRST, THE GOOD NEWS is that Natkhat will have dine in capability in the very near future. Dripping will have its own full fledged Indian restaurant, one that has tested the waters and one that knows how to produce a first rate food experience. I can't wait.. Last night we had another round with Natkhat. Having learned how large their portions are, this time we chose to share an order or tikka masala, some basmati rice and a helping of naan. I will say this and it stands for all future reviews from this pen. Their garlic naan is incredible, amazing, light, flavorful and compelling to the point of addiction. Best I've ever had. The tikka masala was both light, spicy on the back side, and rich at the same time. The flavors are balanced, the chicken portions just right ( and not too large as in previous dishes). Tikka is a pretty standard Indian restaurant dish and can be compared from place to place easily. Natkhat's holds it own with the best of them. We were both pleased. And full. And we're going to make Natkhat a regular destination when they open for dine in service. Huzzah. Hooyah.

Paul P.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic food!, great service and the owners were always smiling. We went during the live music the first Saturday of the month.

Zac R.

Yelp
Very disappointed. I showed up and it was SUPER loud, very disorganized, and they ran out of white rice. Don't know if I'll go back after that experience.

Jonray H.

Yelp
Absolutely the best Indian food in dripping springs and Austin!! You won't be disappointed!

Larry W.

Yelp
Great food, lots of variety, highly recommended. We were just there a couple of days ago.

Renay P.

Yelp
Wonderful lil Gem and so glad we finally made it in. Food was delicious and perfectly seasoned and def cured my cravings for now lol, I'll be back. I highly recommend, so go Check them out. Such polite and sweet staff and owners, who I believe owners we met also. Thank you for an amzing dinner, see y'all again. Soon.

Ashley G.

Yelp
I just had the most AMAZING lunch to go! This was my first time trying Chicken Chagenzi after being lured in by the amazing smell from the parking lot. Customer service is incredible and I was allowed a sample before finalizing my order because I was unfamiliar with the restaurant. It was clean and comfortable inside with beautiful decor. I will be coming back, and bringing more people with me!

Sondra K.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The customer service is incredible and treated us like family and the food is exceptional. So glad to have stopped in today. This is our new go-to!

Anna S.

Yelp
Great service and good food. The service was fast and everyone was super nice. Restaurant was well decorated.

Cynthia P.

Yelp
This has to be one of the best, most authentic Indian restaurants I have ever tried. Every dish we ordered exceeded our taste bud expectations. We ordered the platter and shared a palak paneer, butter chicken, garlic naan, samosas, and flaky paratha. It was all superb. On top of that, the service was super fast and the owner and chef came by a couple of times to check in on us. Which really made us feel cared for. Really and truly a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for rich and flavorful Indian Cuisine experience!

Robin N.

Yelp
We have had Indian food all over and this was tops!!! Flavors that were savory and really just plain luscious. Not your ordinary Indian food. Service was from the chef herself, patiently helping us choose the right dishes. She gave us tastes of anything and everything. The freshness of her ingredients was obvious! Indoor and outdoor seating and it really felt like home, but that could be because of the welcoming staff. Why I didn't take photos, I have no idea, but we were hungry and gobbled down what felt like huge portions!!!

Fred N.

Yelp
Great food. Recommend. Owned and operated by real people. Not a franchise. Support a great local business and enjoy some very good food.

Jim S.

Yelp
Believe the hype. This place is really good! Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is nice and I love that it's run by such a nice family. The music and vibe of the inside is very comfortable, and the choices are great. We will keep coming back!

Olha Z.

Yelp
Found another gem place in Dripping Springs! My husband and I dined at this fantastic Indian restaurant and had a delightful experience. We ordered samosa and two meal plates: one with butter chicken and another with tikka masala. The butter chicken was creamy and full of flavor, while the tikka masala had just the right balance of spices. The samosas were also delicious - crispy on the outside and packed with delicious filling inside. The hospitality service was exceptional, adding to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience.

Michelle B.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Food is absolutely delicious & the owners are very friendly & welcoming. The restaurant is clean with a nice ambiance. Can't wait to try more of their menu.

John C.

Yelp
Let me start the review saying that I really enjoy the food here. Everything is on point. My only reservation as to why I can only come here every special occasion is because of the pricing. 14 for curry, 4.50 for rice (!!!) and 4 for naan. Comes out to around 23$ a plate. If rice came with it, we would be back much more often.

Sophia A.

Yelp
This place is definitely a hidden gem, and I must say I am so happy I found this wonderful restaurant! I had the Butter Chicken with rice, and it was PHENOMENAL. Easily the best Indian food I have ever tasted and definitely ranks among some of the best food I've ever eaten in general. Service was wonderful, and so fast! I felt very comfortable and cared for with the friendly staff and beautiful ambiance. Highly recommend!!!

Brandi C.

Yelp
Amazing food and ambiance! Can't say enough great things about this restaurant and the sweet owners!

Mick A.

Yelp
A must try! Dripping Springs is starved for good restaurants and this place is amazing! I like Indian food, but this is above all the rest! A family owned restaurant with mom cooking the food, you will be amazed at how tasty all the dishes are. Not too spicy or oily, they are well balanced and truly a treat. Samosas are really good, with a great sauce. We had chicken korma and gobhi masala with basmati rice. Ask your server for suggestions. They do a lot of take out, but recently opened for dining. Nice ambiance. Also, wine and beer and some cocktails, which are not reflected in Yelp or website.

Carla D.

Yelp
Great food! We shared chicken tikka masala, Chana masala, and butter chicken. Perfectly seasoned and hot from the stove. Garlic naan and the samosas made it complete! Ate leftovers the next day, too! We will be back to try everything else!

Erika O.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! The Vegan Curry was so very good. The Parathas were perfect - one of the owners gave me a suggestion about reheating them. Spot on - light, flakey and tasty! Can't wait to try the other entrees. Another plus, the owners and staff were hospitable and knowledgeable.

Tim G.

Yelp
Ohhhhhhh Myyyyyyy.....My wishes have came true, Finally legit Indian food in Dripping Springs! With many of us moving here from other parts of the country that are more "diverse" shall I say when it comes to cuisine we now have "Really Good" Indian I had the chicken korma with cumin rice and garlic naan all were cooked to perfection and flavorful. My only request is an option to make spicier! Great new spot in the drip! Go check it out y'all

Wendy R.

Yelp
Savory, comforting Indian dishes I consider to be the best I have had to date. A humble, family owned restaurant that prides themselves on quality, fresh food they cook every morning for their lunch and dinner menu choices.

Mark G.

Yelp
This is a great place for lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and the owners are great people. The Samosas are a wonderful appetizer and the garlic Nan is a must have item. The Chicken Changezi, Gobhi Masala, and Chicken Afghani are some of our favorites.

Angelyn C.

Yelp
It was delicious, the food was hot and fresh. I liked the daily menu format. I had Chicken Changezi and there was a vegetarian option for my son. The owner/chef Sakshi brought our food personally and greeted my son and me with genuine warmth which added to our enjoyable lunch out. I live 45 minutes away but will making a return visit soon! We sat outside and it was perfect, but the inside had a cool and comfortable atmosphere. I got take out for dinner too so I'll be eating it twice today. :)

Guadalupe H.

Yelp
We were visiting for a weekend vacation and tried this restaurant for lunch. It was absolutely delicious and the owners were friendly! I recommend this place highly! I will be going back when I visit Dripping Springs again.

Chris K.

Yelp
Went for an early lunch, and the food was really delicious. The owner was lovely and helped guide us to menu selections that went beyond the standard tikka masala. We began with samosas, followed by chicken changezi and dal makhani. Everything was very tasty. It is great to have some variety and quality food in Dripping!
