"Natsumi is a consistently good option for sushi if you just want some miso soup and a few rolls. We pretty much always get the same thing when we’re here: their special where you can pick three maki rolls for $22. You should be aware that the space looks a little like the set of a play in its own regard. A play that takes place in a clubby lounge in 2002, just after the dot com boom. If you need further proof, keep an eye out for someone wearing a blazer and eating tuna tartare out of a martini glass." - hannah albertine

"Natsumi is a random actor on NCIS. If you don’t watch, you’re not going to have any idea, but if you do, you once stalked this random actor on Instagram. If you work near Times Square, you’ll be happy to know about Natsumi for a spicy tuna roll or assorted nice-looking rainbow roll-type items. The space is somewhat upscale-feeling in the sense that it does actually have some level of decor, and prices are pretty reasonable." - hillary reinsberg

"This one isn’t necessarily worth traveling for, but if you have a reason to be hanging around Midtown, it’s a good casual option. Since Natsumi is on West 50th Street, it’s a little less casual than most neighborhood sushi places you’ll find elsewhere in the city (it looks kind of like a luxury airport lounge), but the rolls are still almost all under $10, and it stays pretty quiet. "A casual neighborhood sushi place can only be so casual when it’s this close to the M&M store - but in comparison to a lot of the other restaurants in the area, Natsumi is relaxed and relatively affordable. The regular rolls here are almost all under $10, and there are daily Happy Hours from 4-6pm and from 10pm until closing.
