Google
I have ordered from here before and it was okay - seemed fine the first time. I ordered here a second time today for lunch and unfortunately I found a worm in my salad 😭 I don’t recommend ordering a salad or anything with lettuce as I don’t know that it’s washed properly. Natures brew, this is a food safety issue! You need to wash salad thoroughly before serving it to guests, even if through a delivery service. I’m disappointed and also a bit disgusted.

Google
I stopped in for the first time and had a ice latte. Was splendid. Visiting the area will go again when back in town.

Google
Healthy, tasty, and affordable. The smoothies are packed with fresh fruit, and the avocado toast is top-notch. The staff always makes you feel welcome. Great for students or anyone nearby. I always leave feeling refreshed

Google
I've been here a handful of times when I'm visiting- the food is always flavorful! There's a great display of baked goods ready to pick from, as well as a menu of sandwiches, salads and smoothies! Obviously, always a coffee #oakmilkvanillahoneyicedlattegoodness! Always clean and comfortable, not overwhelming like some places and I'm able to get some work done while I grab some food! Also #greengoddessw/chia&ginger!

Google
Spacious and serene environment with the highlight of great food brought to you by great service. The cookies are mouth watering and pair well with the bagel sandwiches.

Google
Corey took my order. I have not had the best week recently. Corey made feel seen and they made my day. They only took 30 seconds to make my day. I thought I owed myself a treat. Nature’s Brew has been my safe space ever since 2015. I have not been here in a while but thank you Nature’s Brew Crew. Especially Corey. Thank you for making me feel welcomed again. :)

Google
My grandson brought me here and I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast. I had the waffle Benedict topped with cheddar cheese and bacon with jalapeño sauce and a side of arugula with balsamic vinaigrette. It was delicious! I also had the lavender coffee with oat milk. You sit wherever and order at the counter and they bring it to you.

Jane F.

Google
Nana sandwich is so delicious! I replaced the bacon with tomatoes. Egg is freshly fried and not oily! Latte is strong, I can feel they use dark roasted espresso, so if you are a “dark”guy, I recommend this place. And more surprisingly, they got lovely art for the latte!

Yelp
Natures Brew is a very cozy and inviting place to kick it with friends or to study. The workers are extremely friendly and make the best lattes. My personal go to items are the USC Latee and the Egg Samwich. To add, the cookies are delicious, the chocolate peanut butter and lemon are my favorite - soft and great overall texture. Everything on the menu is very good and it is definitely a go to spot if you're around the USC area.
google avatar

Benjamin R.

Yelp
The bacon and eggs were kind of disappointing. The bacon was one strip and the toast was half a slice. Just overall, it was so tiny. The potatoes were also too salty. In addition, the breakfast item was $10 on the menu but it ended up being $13 something, so there is some upcharge somehow. I wouldn't mind coming back here for a drink but I do not recommend the food!

Yelp
We went to Nature's Brew after running for coffee and breakfast. As soon as we walked in, I was impressed with the atmosphere. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and filled with the scent of freshly brewed coffee. The baristas really know their craft -- my latte was smooth, rich, and beautifully made. The food is just as good as the drinks. The breakfast egg sandwiches are fresh and hearty, and the wheat toast is easily one of the best -- perfectly seasoned with just the right crunch. Their pastries and muffins are baked to perfection and pair wonderfully with a latte. There's plenty of indoor seating, and the calm vibe was great for catching up with friends. Staff are friendly and genuinely care about making sure everyone has a good experience. We'll definitely be coming back to Nature's Brew.

Yelp
Check in for a free cookie! Great table space, Wi-Fi and service. For people that need to study, there are lots of outlets. Our go to study spoy

Yelp
Had the iced brewed mocha latte with an espresso shot. The beverage displayed true ingredients and they married well. The associate was very friendly and upbeat. He made our visit very welcoming. The ambiance was of a Seattle coffee shop and the temperature was perfect within the establishment.

Yelp
This spot is the perfect place if you're looking for a spacious, quiet coffee shop to study or relax. The service was super friendly and welcoming. I loved the cozy and warm interior so much. Free WiFi, wide menu options for both food and drinks, and easy street parking. Their pumpkin spiced latte was phenomenal. Their egg sandwich did taste a bit bland but with my taste buds being not too picky, I was fine with it.

Yelp
The Berry Scone was really good, pretty large, so it was enough to last a while. The Snickerdoodle Ice Latte was great, not overly sweet, just enough to give a boost of energy. The menu looks great, lots of good options. The ambiance is great. Huge space and lots of tables to study, hangout, or have a small break. The works bring out the food to you if you dine in. I did have a super negative experience, as if they didn't care that I was there. I waited to look at the menu, then when to the register to order. Waited at least 5 minutes until I was recognized. I ordered my coffee, then asked about the scone. The worker rolled his eyes. After I ordered, he grabbed the pastry, and forced handed it to me like he was in a rush. He then began to service tables. So I understand, he was busy. In-between servicing, the barista made my drink and placed it next to him, no communication. She was just complaining about the customers to the other worker. This entire time, my drink is just waiting on the counter. The barista kept looking at me, saw that I was waiting, but didn't asked me until 12 minutes later. She asked if I was waiting for anything, and I told her that I was waiting for a latte. She said that she didn't get the ticket, and that she'll work on it as soon as she can. 3 minutes later, another worker came out of the restroom, saw my drink on the counter, and called it out. The barista goes, "oh, that's what happened. Oh wells." I want to give this place another try, maybe they are just not having a good day. But my experience overall was a missed.

Yelp
Had the best coffee here!!! The very friendly server (darn, I forget name) recommended the Snickerdoodle and made it less sweet with oat milk and it was fire! sooooo amazing. We also tried a kale Nutella cookie that was tasty. The vibe here is also super chill and cool. Some students on laptops or just people hanging out. We stayed longer than we thought because it was so cozy. I am coming back to try food and get that iced Snickerdoodle again, or maybe I'll go wild and try it hot next time.

Yelp
The Pulled Pork Sweet Potatoes are so good, the employees vernice and friendlyand Good music. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
Place seems like a good place to work. Food is fresh and delicious. Workers are really kind.
google avatar

Sofia M.

Yelp
Food is tasty, especially the vegan pastries! Shocker, yes, but try them. The service is pretty good, with minor order mistakes or forgotten silverware every once in a while. Though the place smells like burnt toast sometimes, it's a lovely little cafe to get some work done or meet a friend for lunch!
google avatar

Carla R.

Yelp
The atmosphere of this place is nice and the servers were nice. What this place gets 3 stars for is the pathetic serving of turkey on the $13 torched turkey sandwich. Attached are two photos to show the turkey doesn't even cover the bread and the bread was thicker than the turkey provided. Add to that, one person in our party didn't get their omelette until after the other seven people were finished eating.

Yelp
favorite cafe in the area. best coffee and food. great service. loveee the tater tots and egg sandwich. iced coffee mwah mwah

I ordered a decaf today and they gave me caffeinated had panic attacks all afternoon.

Yelp
Wakin' Up on a Tuesday Not only were they playing immaculate tunes but the bacon and brie on sourdough sandwich I ordered was insanely fresh and so tasty. I got a hot lavender latte with oat milk to keep me powering through my freelance work and a lemon coconut cookie for dessert. The adorable barista complimented my wallet and the whole experience made my day. Thank you to the whole Nature's Brew crew
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Pros: Phenomenal food. The chef/cooks go way too hard for being a small coffee shop. All the sandwiches and meals are really good. Great baristas too. Just courteous, normal, hard working individuals that can make you a mean latte. Cons: The location and vibe is a little dark and dingy, but not holding it against them as the building they're in looks to be 100+ years old. However, they have outside seating. Parking can occasionally get annoying, but not hard to find an open spot. They seem to be cool with dogs BUT don't push it. I have a large german shepherd and they're OK with me coming inside to order but I usually sit outside with him because he's too big and restless indoor. Smaller or medium sized dogs (that aren't yappers) I'm sure are welcome.

Yelp
We went here for breakfast during our visit for Trojan family weekend & it was very tasty! Bacon & Brie breakfast sandwich was delicious as well as the breakfast burrito & scones. Definitely will come back next time we visit.

Sunshine D.

Yelp
This is the spot to go to for breakfast drinks and a healthy lunch. They are quick and easy to order from and have a giant selection of coffee drinks.
google avatar

Teresa R.

Yelp
Unbelievably good! I love the coffee, fresh and yummy. However, Chef Brian puts great care in his breakfast burritos. The one I had today was in a tomato burrito wrap. It was delicious!! You can always add a hot sauce if that's your thing or extra salt, but the fresh ingredients, the care in the presentation he delivers, makes the taste of the food even better! The rest of the staff are pleasant, accommodating, and warm. They totally feel like your neighborhood Coffee Shop.
google avatar

Rick M.

Yelp
Terrible! I ordered one of their sandwiches for 14. It was basically one slice of turkey and nothing else. The "chef" was more interested in jacking off with his co-worker instead of doing his job. Salad came with no dressing and he was pissed when I asked for it to go. The cashier was good and professional. Hard pass.
google avatar

Kay Y.

Yelp
The best Lavender Americano I've ever had the pleasure of getting! I got the All nighter with lavender syrup and it's so nice because it was with espresso ice cubes!!! Wish more places did that. I love that their lavender syrup is so delish because you actually have hints of lavender.

Yelp
Coffee: 7.5 out of 10 Customer Service: 10 out of 10 Super nice spot to study at or chat. Just know, based on where you sit, lighting can be quite dim (a total vibe for some). The horchata latte was quite good and the pastries were okay!
google avatar

James O.

Yelp
High prices but phenomenal food. I drive here from San Pedro even though it's like 1.5- 2 hours round trip.
google avatar

Sasha A.

Yelp
We ate here a few weeks ago and the food, chai tea, coffee were delicious. I've actually been craving the chai. it was amazing! Finally got to go again this morning and the chai tea was absolutely horrible. Nothing like a couple weeks ago. Watered down, warm (not hot), it didn't even taste like chai. Not much flavor at all. It was actually undrinkable. We were on the road to San Diego and couldn't turn around for them to fix it. So disappointing. Not sure we'll go back.

Camille C.

Yelp
every neighborhood would benefit from a place like this to start the day... my local secret spot in 90007 area, offering a daily staple of good vibe service, ambiance and freshly prepared smoothies & breakfast/lunch options.
google avatar

Priti R.

Yelp
Love this gem! So cute and cozy with plenty of seating and efficient service. I tried the lavender latte- they nailed it! The almond croissant was yummy as well. Came here for a casual hang but would definitely come back for a caffeinated work session as well!
google avatar

Kayla S.

Yelp
This place is usually good but the last two times I've gone has been bad. Last time I ordered a juice and a coffee. I ordered the mr. Brightside and it was all lime juice I actually got sick and the latte was all milk. This time I went and got a Greek salad they forgot the feta and there was a hair in it.

Jovial X.

Yelp
I ordered hot chocolate. The drink is so so... and the price is a bit high And they don't serve non-fat milk!!
google avatar

Amber D.

Yelp
This is a good place to have some breakfast. Had to do some work and decided to come here since I was in the area. I had the veggie quiche and a coffee. It was very filling and good. I like that they give you a little side salad. The cashier was helpful when I took a while to decide. They have a good amount of breakfast and lunch options. Wifi works great here and if you're not bothered by music while working, it's a great place to work.

Alva P.

Yelp
Nice and chill ambiance. food was good. quick service too. great variety of food options.

Yelp
First and foremost, I had higher expectations for a joint owned by Bacari, because Bacari is great and still is great despite my experience here (I've only been to Bacari on third, not the one next to Nature's Brew though). My boyfriend and I both thought the best part of our meals were our drinks The pain au chocolate wasn't bad by any means, there was an almond on it but I don't care about that. The iced coffee was great. The herb omelette is a different story. Those eggs were overcooked, thin, and dry as anything. My boyfriend found the sourdough stale (he got the tofu scramble with sourdough toast). My main gripe was the service though. Very dismissive server (I'm sure the rest are fine, and maybe my server was just having a bad day, but I'm going off my honest experience). Whenever I talked she didn't seem to make eye contact with me, but did to my partner, and when I asked where the bathroom was, she just said yup and waved down the hallway. I get you're just doing your job, but from one food service employee to another, just be mindful of the impression you leave. Would've gotten at least three stars if the service was better.

Valentina

Yelp
They have no idea how to make coffee. They always burn it and I burnt my tongue many times as a consequence. Even if you ask for coffee "not too hot," you'll still get the same burnt coffee.
google avatar

Yelp
Nature's Brew is a small coffee shop and kitchen located in University Park serving up delicious and heathy food and beverages. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there is a large selection of food items for anytime of day. There is indoor seating for approximately 30-35 comfortably and out side seating for 2 at small tables right near the entrance. Offering an assortment of coffees, natural juices, waters and smoothies, Nature's Brew can satisfy any thirst. There is limited parking available in back and free street parking in front. At a reasonable price point, this place is worth checking out
google avatar

Kristen A.

Yelp
Such a cozy spot for breakfast near USC! A great place to do some homework or grab some bagels with friends. I got the banana nutella waffle and it was very tasty with candied nuts and lots of whipped cream, and the prices are not outrageous. The bagel was a little on the small side, but I definitely see myself coming here at least once a month.
google avatar

Christina R.

Yelp
Okay, yall.... The breakfast sandwich I had this morning changed the trajectory of my whole day. That sandwich was smackin!!!! It's the egg sandwich.
google avatar

Belen R.

Yelp
3.5 stars! Came here today with my partner cause it's pretty close by. The service and the batistas were amazing. They had cookies that were super tasty, but the coffee flavors we got, snickerdoodle and the usc latte, weren't too tasty. Maybe we should try different flavors next time, but they were simultaneously too sweet and strong. Really wanna try the food tho!
google avatar

Joanna Q.

Yelp
Hi there! I was craving an iced coffee and tuna sandwich spot, I know - nothing fancy. But this cafe is perfect for a quick snack and coffee drink. I noticed it was mostly filled with college students so there was a very studious environment. I loved the food - it hit the spot and was healthy. The service was fast but I'd take into consideration that it's mostly students serving you, so I'm sure that's not very consistent. But it was fast and straightforward for me! Would definitely recommend
google avatar

Michelle V.

Yelp
I enjoyed my morning breakfast here. The coffee is amazing and the egg sandwich is chefs kiss.

Valerie S.

Yelp
VERY INCONSISTENT!!! Every time I order from here it's a hit or miss. Some times they are nice & do a good job. Other times they are extremely dismissive & mess up my order. Today 8/23/2024 I ordered 2 iced coffees & 2 bagels via Doordash. I paid for extra cream cheese yet got little to none. I'm not sure why this continues to happen but it's extremely frustrating. Please see picture attached to view my very sad bagel

Yelp
Ambiance was nice for studying nearby USC! The iced vanilla latte was a little bland but the breakfast burrito was so good! Friendly staff and great service!
google avatar

Yuri J.

Yelp
Service 10/10, drinks 10/10, atmosphere 10/10! A great place, near USC, to do work of catch up with friends. I loved how you can make your own juice blend - I did beet, apple, carrot, & orange and it was so fresh and delightful. If you check in on Yelp, you get a free cookie, so my friend got the chocolate chip and I got the lemon coconut. The lemon coconut is a MUST-super tarty & very coconuty. The workers are so friendly and it's a warm, cozy place to study at!
google avatar

Carolina C.

Yelp
Omg. This is the only quiche ever. It was so so good, it was so savory and so cheesy and the filling was so good and the spinach was the right amount of crunchy, it just came together so well. The matcha latte was so good too, and the cup it came with looked so fancy!! Natures Brew has such a nice environment too, the seating is pretty large and differs from one seaters to seatings with four people. Aside from the actual menu, they have a variety of pastries to choose from. All look very good and they're displayed quite nicely. It was pretty quick service and all the servers were very nice :). There's no specific parking but there is street parking available nearby. Also, I've rarely ever come across a cafe where it's not awkward to eat where most people are studying, but this is definitely one of those! I'm also planning on coming again tomorrow to have the quiche again....(it was that good).

Mariah M.

Yelp
I love their pb & j smoothie. The sweet tart my mom didn't like. And I didn't like the green one. But their cookies are Jamin. I truly love the Nutella expresso one
google avatar

Rebecca E.

Yelp
Came for the wifi, and stayed for the atmosphere. A great place to work near USC's campus. This is a bit of a lucky spot for me.. every time I work here, I end up making some type of financial or career gains. The menu selection is good. There are full meals, as well as snacks, pastries, fresh juices, and coffee/tea. I wouldn't come here just to eat, but it's a nice working space.
google avatar

Kenji J.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots to visit and, when I'm in the area, I HAVE to stop! Today I ordered my favorite drink, Noah's Breakfast, and it was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is calming, but during the weekend, it's kinda busy with USC students studying and meeting up. The parking can get a little crowded, so I would suggest ordering online so you can pick-up and go. At any rate, try out this little spot for some yummy food and delicious smoothies!

Daisy O.

Yelp
Really cute place! I had an horchata latte and I would totally recommend. It has condensed milk + cinnamon! It is very sweet. The works are very nice and attentive, I had a pleasant, quiet morning getting some work done. I will be back.

Yelp
FUXS GIVEN = 3.3 ******************* Food = 3 Underwhelming. Looked good but tasted ok. Food came out cold and portions were small. UX = 3 Nice inside, cool art on the walls and good music. Service = 4 Staff was friendly.

Rita A.

Yelp
This place has gone down the drain in the past year. Prices are getting higher and portions are getting smaller. Ordered a vanilla latte recently and not only was it $9, it was extremely bitter. Sandwich portions and quality have also decreased. Waste of time and money.
google avatar

Mayra G.

Yelp
Absolutely obsessed with their egg sandwich $8.99. It's my go-to every time I visit Nature's Brew. It's filled with egg, cheese, tomato, ham, bacon and their own delicious sauce. All slipped into a sourdough bread that adds the best kick to it. First off, I really like how the sauce is spread throughout the entire sandwich, not just on a sliver of the sandwich. You have other bread options, therefore you can order any of their freshly baked carbs. Are you lactose intolerant like me? No problem, just remove the cheese, but it's worth the risk ;D Note: I am a part of their email blasts, and egg sandwiches are only $5.00 every 5th of the month, so check your calendars before ordering. I have a monthly reminder haha. FREE cookie with yelp check in, get on that one guys. I got the chocolate chip cookie, and it was rich in chips and nice and soft. Interior: 5/5 Plenty of single tables and about two tables outside. A bit noisy due to the smoothies being crafted. Lots of students with WIFI available. I did not see outlets. COVID-19 Update - No indoor seating, online orders available, phone orders available too. Staff uses gloves and wears masks at all time. Parking: 5/5 Parking available in front, 1 hour parking via the signs. Parking lot located in the back as well. I would avoid coming during busy hours.
