What an absolutely stunning place! From the vault with the old safety deposit boxes to the many many gyms, the meeting rooms, recreation rooms, bars, restaurants, this is the members club of members clubs! Everything is exquisite, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the decor is historic and amazing, a wonderful blend of old and new, you can literally feel the history of the banking titans of the day from the old Midland Bank emblems and decor. That’s a 3 year waiting list I’m looking forward to getting on!

The atmosphere at this bar and restaurant is genuinely nice, with quite loud music playing to create an energetic vibe. The amazing decor and high ceilings make it a must-visit destination for any London lover. While the quality of food, soft drinks, and service may currently be below average, the establishment is eager to improve and enhance you experience.

One of my favorite establishments in London. This place offer everything: delightful dining, live muscial perfomances, formal coffee, or full blown clubbing; all of this in the reminance of an old elegant bank. I will definetly be comnig back here on my next visit to see what else this place has to offer.

Beautiful member’s club, with several restaurants, fitness club, and lounge areas. Gorgeous Edwardian building and decor, with high ceilings and wooden fixtures. City wide views from the rooftop.

Very nice place to come for live music and "posh" atmosphere. As I visit UK not often, my fave food is fish & chips, and it was nice, I also judge by the quality of tartar sauce)) The waiter was very nice and talkative, very attentive! I would definitely come for cocktails later to check them.

The food is good, but it’s not really outstanding. It’s okay, not bad. The environment is excellent. You can chill out with your fds here the whole afternoon when weather is nice. I like this place.

We enjoyed the good live music, delicious drinks, and the truffle arrancini. It's unfortunate that their oven was not working since we wanted to try their pizza. Great place to come after work or just to catch up with friends/dates.

Had an extremely pleasant stay for over a week at the Ned in London. Room service was excellent and it was wonderful to return every night to a likely lobby filled with live music. We also got to see the underground Ned bar in the Vault! Everything is very vintage and beautiful. The shower products also felt amazing, my hair and skin loved it. Also loved the gym, comes with everything you need and then some. Looking forward to staying again the future!

TLDR: Went for my birthday dinner and was honestly quite underwhelmed. If you have the money to spend they have live music, unlimited lobster, oyster & roast fixings. But hoenstly bottom line, not sure if it was really worth and im not sure i would actively suggest people to go. Everything was fine, if was ftesh & delish but it is a LOT of money in a city with a plethora of pretty affordable eats. The space - had some moody lighting, which is a fancy way of saying slightly dim lol. Theres an illuminated stage where the band/singer was but from my seat I couldn't really see them. The tables & quite close together so it might be a little uncomfortable when getting into/out of your seat when youre going up to the buffet. I sat on the boot/couch which was comfy but also very sunken in so if youre not into that I would definitely recommend chair seating. The buffet- i want to say it was 30% salad/apps, 30% roast, 5% cheese board & things, 5% seafood & 30% desserts. Salad - i thought it was a little weird how much of this $100+ buffet were the different salad options tbh. They were fresh, very diverse & not over-dressed and overall delish but it felt like it was too more of a filler than anything else. Roast - i tried the pork & roast beef and the pork was by far my favorite! Super crunchy skin and beautifully moist & tender meat. I would recommend getting the horseradish & wholegrain mustard to cut through the richness. The cheesy cauliflower was my favorite side but they also had super crisp/crunchy roast potatoes, some roasted veggies (carrots & parsnips), yorkshire puddings (which i feel like were too big and took up too much of the plate. I would rather have multiple smaller ones). The biggest drawback was the VERY THIN gravy. I felt like it was more like a broth than a gravy and it really didnt add to the roast. If anything it felt like it washed off some flavor and make the yorkshire pudding wet no matter where I put it. Cheese board & things includes the cheese & fruit that was by the desserts, and the avocado toast & sausage roll thats by the salads. I didnt get to try the cheese board-y things but it looked like a great variety of hard & soft cheeses. By the time i got to that part of the buffet i was honestly just too full. The avocado toast & sausage rolls come as little bites. Good to try but only if you have the space on your plate. Seafood - The entire section is made of lobster, oyster, lobster mac & chese and a cooked salmon. The lobster was cooked well & came with its own mayo based sauce. I had a little of everything and it felt fresh and wasnt fishy in the least. I guess this is where you can make it worth the $100+ price tag? Dessert - honestly by then i feel like i was delerious from the oncoming food coma but I remember the sticky toffee pudding & the vat of warm custard they had and it was AMAZING even when youre 115% full. PLEASE GET IT, it was one of the best bites of the night!

Stayed a week for work. Rooms are okay. Went to the vault, which was pretty cool. Otherwise place is pretty snobby

Beautifully decorated hotel and rooms and they try to provide all amenities dow. However, can increase the practical things for living . There is one USB port. There is only one hook in the bathroom. Though it has wonderful heated floors. We asked the phone to be fixed as well as bring a soap and shampoo that did not have the ingredient that I am highly allergic to. They took down notes and said yes. Phone still doesn't work and no additional soaps were brought to the room. The gym is one of the I have seen. I need a room to work in before going to the airport but they do not have a business room. All in all, for a business trip, the marriott in canary whatf was more suitable.

A fun and central place to visit. Many different bar and restaurant areas to fit your needs. We also had a private dinner in another section of the Ned and the service was impeccable! I highly recommend this location for a fun night out or business dinner. Location is also central to public transportation and visible for taxis.

Honestly the worst 5 star hotel service I have ever experienced. Gorgeous ambience and great food but the first word they are taught here is no. Absolutely shocking and useless rule s.

A very GRAND place that's bustling with people grabbing a drink and bite. We started at the bar with some champagne and made our way to a table to grab a bite- the food menu was simple but has something for everyone. The drinks were GREAT, we got a table right in front of the live band so it was a little loud but definitely a fun atmosphere!

Beautiful location with a variety of experiences. I grabbed lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal accompanied with live jazz music. Perfect afternoon expetience. I loved the ambience so much that I came back for drinks in the evening where the live show was awesome as well! Looking forward to coming back here again!

This is an establishment that does not make accommodations for people with disabilities, which in 2023, is quite unbelievable. On top of that they are incredibly dismissive and rude about it. I asked four separate people if we could be given a table that was a bit quieter because of my father's hearing impairment. I asked on the phone (two days before the booking), over email and in person. When we arrived they put us at a table in the busiest and loudest part of the restaurant. Only once I told them it was unacceptable and how uncomfortable it was for my father did they grudgingly find us the table, without any apology or acknowledgement of how poorly they had dealt with the situation. Every person I dealt with, particularly the manager, had such a bad attitude and acted without an ounce of empathy. If this is how a business treats disability then they should quite frankly be ashamed.

Great dinner at Kaia and after drinks at The Ned. Apparently you need reservations to get into any of the restaurants, so luckily my mate did that for us. Easy access to the large lounge area from there. We left around 930, but seems like that's when it really turns up. I'll definitely be back. Could be a romantic or swank night out.

Stayed here as part of a business trip. Wow, which is an amazing place. The old Midland Bank. The rooms are dark but with all the amenities. The rooms are good sized but not large. The bathrooms have a great rain shower and no less than 5 different kinds of shampoo and 5 different kinds of soap. They have all the extras if you have forgotten anything from mouthwash to power adapters. On the ground floor, there is a massive bar and restaurant with live music every night. In the basement is a bar in the old bank vault, you have to try it. On the 9th floor, they have a nice cafe for breakfast. The service is a bit slow but otherwise a treat.

The Ned may very well be the best dining experience of my life. That's a bold claim, but the feast at The Ned makes a bold statement! Available only on Sunday evenings, the feast at The Ned sets a high culinary standard for food and service in the lobby of an old classic bank. The lobby is absolutely massive. There was a live band playing. Come read to eat and dance the night away! The food was unreal! There were dozens of offerings, all prepared to perfection. Yorkshire pudding and salmon wellington, steamed lobster and the perfect roast. Sausage in every imaginable way and smoked salmon to top your avocado toast. Dozens of salads and vegetable options to round it out. The desserts were also incredible. I enjoyed a few servings of the apple and berry crumble with an assortment of fresh fruit. I've never had such attentive service. I believe we had wait staff assigned just to our table. Every time I stood up, I returned to a folded napkin and straightened silverware. Everything that we asked for was provided in a moment. Book in advance. This is not just a meal, it is an experience! One that I would love to have again!

Wow, what a gorgeous venue! It boasts four types of cuisine and a cocktail bar with live jazz music. Floor to ceiling architecture and a really classy atmosphere. I came for a group dinner at Zobler's Deli which is styled in the theme of a New York deli. The decor was much fancier than an actual diner but the food hit it's mark. I had a delicious Cobb salad with loads of fresh meat and veg. My neighbour dug into their large cheesecake. Everyone at the table enjoyed the Reuben sandwiches and bagels. The best part were the cocktails. An amazing Bloody Mary with spice and a hint of sweetness. The pickled martini with added olives was extremely tasty. A small but favourable cocktail menu. There are other restaurants within the hotel such as the American burger shop, Italian and Asian. Next time I would like to return for a spot in the lounge for a cocktail by the band. A lovely romantic spot!

Overflowing with beautiful people exiting limos and hailing cabs, passing the Ned every day on my return from work certainly wound my excitement to trial London's newest entertainment complex. I say that because an everyday 5-star hotel this is not. Rumor has it the Midland bank stood a widow, black marked as a hopeless site unsuitable for restoration due to all the inflexible planning requirements and immutable features of the building itself. Let's take a moment to mentally applaud the architectural team behind turning a Grade-I listed building in the shape of an old-fashioned City centre bank into the hottest spot in London, boasting 9 restaurants, two pools inspired by Victorian baths, a boxing gym, and a bar in the 20-tonne vault within its underbelly. Now, an amalgam of a private members club and a swanky cosmopolitan hotel (especially one in the mind's eye of Soho House founder) could easily have turned into a catchpenny eyesore. Not the Ned. The transformers of this titan of a building wisely went with the grain to metamorphose this space. There is a palpable sense of place, of vintage 1920s New York glamour. Everything about this composite brainchild screams melodrama, from the emerald verdite marble pillars to the leaping arch windows and the live music (piano or jazz) romantically serenading patrons. The main banking hall is open plan, with chequered black and white tiles and a Harrods food counter feel. However, the drinks (although pricey) are on point and the waiters unfailingly attractive. I would say the service is slow and has been every time we've been here to entertain clients. There was one incident where they wouldn't believe that our tab was ours...a little strange. However, overall I love it. I can't wait to try the manicure rooms, the spa, and all the various world-cuisines behind each restaurant. Bravo!

After many years of awaiting my stay at The Ned, I was met by amazing views, beautiful surroundings, and gracious staff. However, when I checked into my room, I found that I was actually behind the ventilation ducts from the kitchen. Not only was there a noise associated with this extraction process from the kitchen. The aroma is also lingered in my room. Morning was met with Bacon an afternoon and evening was met with beef. Also, the music which is so welcoming in the lobby permitted by room in the evening. When I asked to possibly have a room change, I was told that the Internet was down and they could not accommodate any changes at this present time. I have been here for two days and there has been no follow up from the front desk or reservation team. I would highly suggest for 400 pounds a night in London. You can do a lot better. I am disappointed in the Ned team, and their ability to follow through with what should've been a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Regardless of my poor accommodation, the restaurants and bars and staff are absolutely amazing. The management should focus upon situating better regard for their excessive prices with poor service when it comes to rooms.

This is one of my favorite spots in London. I make it. Point to stop in every time I'm there. This converted bank is a throwback to the days of old. The restoration is amazing. The of the place is immense. The music is always good and the people watching is spectacular. Have dinner or a night cap. You might even take in the Sunday brunch. It's all good.

While my boyfriend was in London for a week-long work trip, I visited him for a portion of his stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and between the various bars, restaurants and amenities, you would easily be entertained in the hotel alone for a day. This is also a great place to come for a night out on the town with friends. If you have a membership card, you must have a drink at the Vault bar in the basement but be sure to get there early. By 11 pm, it is almost impossible to find a place to sit. The public upstairs lobby bar has great live music every night until about 11:30 pm and it is quite a lively scene! My boyfriend had checked in days earlier on Sunday but the chipper front desk girl was very easy to work with in regards to getting me checked in to the room. We had a cozy room on the second floor that had just the right amount of space for two people. The highlight was certainly the heated floors in the bathroom along with the spacious shower and abundance of products for you to use. The maid service was great, coming in twice daily and leaving bottles of still and sparkling water each time. It happened to be snowy weather when we were visiting so we did not opt to use the outdoor roof deck pool although it was warm enough to get in. We instead opted to use the Hamam and indoor pool. The downstairs area is beautiful with a clean and large changing/locker room. The beauty stations and flip flops provided were much appreciated! The downfall was that there was not much seating in the indoor pool area and many people were left to keep their towels on the side of the pool until a chair opened up. The upstairs restaurant is a must-visit if you book at the Ned. Offering views of the Shard, Walkie Talkie and St. Paul's cathedral, it is the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner or drinks. Be sure to walk outside and visit the smaller indoor bar for a pre-dinner drink or a night cap. This bar provides a more intimate feeling than the public bars located in the lobby. Overall, I would certainly recommend the Ned unless you are looking for a place to stay where you will feel warm and welcome with every worker you talk to. The only friendly workers I interacted with during my four day stay was the front desk girl at check in and my waitress at breakfast at Millie's restaurant. The Ned is located in a terrific location where it is easy to access a lot of the focal points of London within walking distance.

The experience here is outstanding from start to finish. We arrived before check in time and approached the desk, and while we got food they managed to turn the room around. The staff are hugely accommodating and very helpful with all their advice and knowledge. The room was quiet and the amenities outstanding. We had a medium room and the size was perfect. You could stay a week and never leave the hotel, as the bars, restaurants and pools are frankly each a different experience worth having. Sunday swing made my evening complete; make sure there is a Sunday in your booking just for this alone! While they were certainly accommodating of children, I would say this is far more an adult's playground. Will come back sans the wee one next time to really enjoy the Ned!

The Ned....I want to hate it in a way...but I cant...I just love it truth to be told. In the heart of the City they have taken over one of the biggest buildings and transformed it into a labyrinth of opulence. From the moment you walk in, especially on a Sunday you could be forgiven for thinking you have gone back in time to the 1950's, dimmed lights...chandeliers. I mention Sunday for good reason, with theatre land closed on Sundays the performers of the erst end find themselves at a loose end no more, they are here performing pieces from their productions for the enjoyment of all on the impressive center stage at the heart of the main room. With a variety of dining and drinking options there is soemthing for everyone. s a date place, place to show visitors from out of town...friends and parents alike its a rare spry of life in what is usually the very closed down nature of the city on the weekend! Go visit!

This Soho house hotel conversion from a bank building to a hedonistic complex is quite impressive--- the live music, plethora of restaurants, the vault bar (super cool), the rooftop pool/lounge, the spa, gatsby-esque decor of the rooms, an excessive abundance of Cowshed products and so on. The lobby is always buzzing with excitement and activity. Tonnes of people at all times! We had a heritage room on the fifth floor and despite all the activity downstairs, our floor was very quiet. Residents of the hotel are given a membership card which grants you access to the vault bar (a must). Great cocktails and ambiance. We had a great experience overall, but it was not flawless by any means. There are a few kinks to be worked out with respect to customer service and the staff. We were early for check-in and our room was not ready ( totally understandable). The gentleman at check-in said our room would be ready in an hour or so and that the hotel would give us a call, but the call never came. We also requested that an iron be sent to our room, and had to call again after an hour as the iron never came. On the second day, our room was still not cleaned at 5 pm. The staff at the various restaurants were useless at times. They were not informed on answering some basic questions, like where to get takeaway coffee etc. etc. Note: Uber cars and other unauthorized vehicles are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel during the week until 7 pm.The hotel instructions /communications to get off at Princes were unclear/ misleading. If taking the tube, the hotel is right at bank station. Regardless of these minor areas of improvement, I would definitely stay here again!

We popped over to The Ned for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night and had the best time! It is truly unlike any place we have been before. The ambiance is incredible- a live band on a raised center stage and over five bar and dining options on the main level. The place was packed and everyone was dressed well! We had drinks at two different restaurants and ate at the Italian inspired restaurant. I would absolutely recommend!

On the positive side, the building is extraordinary and the food options are delicious and broad. I also had a great manicure there at Cheeky Spa. On the downside though are some of the spa staff. So many of them are lazy, unwelcoming and unaccommodating. For instance our group had two treatments before lunch and two after, so I asked the spa reception staff where we could leave my daughter's foldable buggy inbetween times and for some reason we were curtly told no in a really ratty, mean-spirited way. It's a large spa with lots of cupboards I'd imagine, so there was no excuse really, and I'd have thought their customer service would be better. The spa also made my guests feel really unwelcome when they arrived, on what was supposed to be a fun, relaxing day. But ending on a lighter note, the actual nail technicians were totally lovely.

This is now THE place to stay in the city IF you can afford it and IF you can get a room . Stayed there for a week and it is simply a fabulous makeover of an old back head office .. surroundings are amazing and it's quite the happening place of an evening . BUT the service is terrible no matter where You are , front desk , bar , restaurants , housekeeping . I'd like to say it's still new. It it's been open for months now and they should have it figured out .

What can you say about The Ned, this place was pretty amazing. It is a restaurant with a half dozen restaurants when under one roof. We came after the Panthers game not knowing what we were coming to, when walking in we were not dressed for it at all. When walking in they had a band going and people dancing in nicer clothes than game clothes. They have a mix of different restaurants; a fine dining Italian, an incredible buffet, with lobster, cheeses, beef, you name it, a Japanese place with sushi, a more casual restaurant..where we ate. It had sandwiches, a steak, different salads, we really enjoyed it. A few of us got the lobster roll which was to die for one of the best I've ever had, I got a side of Mac and cheese which was delicious. My mom got the Rueben which she enjoyed, brother the steak which was ok with chips. This place is really cool and has a great atmosphere. A must if you are in London.

Newly opened and in the heart of the city, the sort of place that you would walk past without a second glance but well worth a visit. The Ned is what I assume to be an old banking hall, the sort of place where the Dad in Mary Poppins would spend his days, but it is now turned over to bars and restaurants. The whole setting is stunning plus there is live music in the middle of the room, the only issue is that it can be a little noisy. There are a number of places to choose from depending on what you want to eat/drink, plus if you are a member there are exclusive areas away from the crowds, I went to the Nickel Bar for a couple of drinks but would like to try a few other places over the next few months.

Service wow- immediately cheerful and prompt. I've never been to a hotel where they've given me so much attention and offers of helping with everything and anything. Before we were taken to our hotel rooms, they asked us if it was okay to introduce us to the Guest Relations Associate, Pascaline, who then offered us a tour if we wanted one. Beautiful decor, hotel rooms are stocked with all travel necessities, including chargers and adaptors. The live music every night is great, wonderful musicians. Lost a star! This was originally a 5 star review, but 5 days into my stay and they have had 2 false fires alarms- one at 5am, another at 12:45am; wifi has gone down for a whole day. NOT good.

Absolutely beautiful room, with tons of space, seats, and (theoretically) room to sit and order a drink. But the service is spotty at best, Kaia ran out of their 3 main courses by 930pm, and the private bar downstairs was unstaffed.

The Ned is amazing. I am so glad that we decided to stay here. We found his hotel on Yelp after getting frustrated with fake reviews on TripAdvisor. We stayed for four nights. The full-sized Cowshed products in the bathroom are great. The lobby is always bumping and made our stay fun, especially being in a relatively quiet area during the weekend. Everything is brand new and super high-end. Not stuffy at all. Would def stay again. I would recommend booking on Expedia as we got a great deal booking from the states. We did not have access to the gym or roof, but that can be gained through a 20 pound surcharge which we found to be quite reasonable.

Great spot. Lots of food options. Live music at the right volume to fill in the background with decent karaoke-esque vocals. Massive place. Very stylish. Can't believe it's this massive and in the centre of London tbh. Very cool to try if you're just in London for a few days. Lots of dresses up people making an effort

Lobby and bar area is stunning! Beautiful vaulted ceilings, archways, live music. Food was great and service incredible.

What a scene but the food backs it up. Still dreaming about the veal I had last month.

I found the over sided bank strange as it is sectioned off into 5 different venues with only pony walls and large scrubs as divider. It had a band stand in the middle with live music that could be hear through the entire place. The band and a very large crowd of people it was extremely loud. The food was good but not great. Mind you it did not feel like a fine dinning kind of place. Service for dinner was good up until they came to the table an hour and a half after we sat down and told us our time was up and the next reservation was waiting on our table. This killed the entire evening. I have never been asked to move one especially after such a short time. So much for a leisurely dining experience. If you at young like big crowds and fast food then come here. If your are looking for a nice evening out go some place where they understand service and not here

The Ned was a hotel of choice for one of my bridesmaids in my wedding party. Our wedding was set for March 2020, but due to the coronavirus was cancelled and postponed until November. Every company in the United States (just about!) and University is shutting down. The WHO declared this a global pandemic. The President just placed a travel ban on Europe, granted not the UK (yet), and the Ned still won't let us move the reservation to the new wedding date. We aren't asking for our money back, we are asking for the date to be moved until this all settles down! It is unbelievable the lack of care this hotel has for its guests and their health. How absolutely absurd! They offered to move it to May, but that does no good for us? I spoke to the manager and her response was the same. How can a 5 star hotel be the ONLY hotel that won't accommodate a global pandemic? That is absolutely unheard of. If this is not resolved, I will be sure to withdraw any business here and be sure to let people know the same. You should be ashamed of yourself for only caring about your 60 day revenue. Unbelievable!

The doormen are horrible and think for some reason harassing hotel guests is acceptable and part of their job description. If you would like to enter your hotel in peace, do not stay here until they rare place the front door staff.

I came here for dinner at Kaia shortly after it opened. The whole venue is nothing short of stunning. There was clearly no penny spared. There are nine restaurants in total at The Ned, some of which you can book and some of which are walk-in. We couldn't get a table at Cecconi's (the only restaurant in there that I had heard of before), but the poke bowls at Kaia have been popping up on Instagram so we went there. Since we booked ahead, when we arrived, our names were checked at the door and then we walked into the great hall, where Kaia is to the right. There's no clear delineation between most of the restaurants... put another way, it's one giant room sectioned off into "restaurants," but for example Kaia was on one end of the hallway and Zobler's Delicatessen was right across and the mirror image of Kaia (but pretty much empty, guess it is not as popular). Since we were two people, we were seated at a long table across from each other. It was ok when still relatively empty and we had room on either side, but once it was full, our neighbours complained about the giant desk lamp in the middle that obstructed their view of each other and made conversation very awkward. Seems like a slight design flaw. I ordered the beef tataki and the miso black cod, and my friend got the salmon poke bowl and the miso black cod. The food was beautifully presented with flowers and very good. Probably not Nobu status, but also not extortionately expensive. After dinner we moved to the Nickel bar and had a few drinks at the counter there, while listening to the live jazz music. Very classy place to hang out if you don't want to just settle for the pubs of the City!

Had dinner at Cecconi's restaurant which is part of the 5 star hotel - The Ned. We arrived and were seated but no one ever offered to take our coats. We weren't alone as everyone had coats draped on chairs or in some cases on the floor. Our table was set with a very dirty fork and stained napkin. Water glass was seldom refilled during our four hour meal. After our main dish was served, the waiter seemed to disappear. Food was delicious. Cocktails were average. Wine selection was appropriate. Desserts were yummy. Coffee ordered as part of our dessert selection came almost as we were finishing the desserts. Prices are $$$$ considering service was weak. Annoyed that the tip was automatically added to the bill as it certainly was not earned.

This is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at in London (and possibly anywhere). The rooms are quiet, large, have comfortable beds and are well appointed. They provide everything you could possibly need... toothbrush, hair straightener, plus a few unmentionables. You can literally show up with your clothes and nothing else and want for nothing. The staff is so welcoming. The first floor bar and restaurants are busy and loud but they provide a private lounge downstairs for guests that is quiet and has decent food. I really can't imagine staying anywhere but here going forward.

Currently staying here for a mini vacation in London. The Ned is more than a hotel, it's become an entertainment hub. They have 8-10 restaurants/bars on the premises with live music that's seemingly playing 24/7, a rooftop pool, and a basement gym and lap pool. The location is nice and convenient close to the Thames River in Bank, right across the street from Bank Underground Station. The room is splendid and the Cowshed toiletries are fun - there's 3 different types of shampoos, 2 types of conditioners, 4 types of body wash and 3 types of moisterizers to choose from! Room service is twice a day but one of the cleaning ladies has an attitude, the front desk/concierge are attentive to your needs, and servers at the restaurants in the 1st floor lobby are excellent. The gym is great too, there's a spin room, punching bags, free weights, machines, tons of cardio machines like treadmills, ellipticals, vario, ergs, skierg, airdyne, kettlebells etc. Wish they had a microwave and a larger fridge in the room though, I guess they assume if you live there you will exclusively dine out.

I've stayed here about 6-7 times over the last 2 years. As many others have said, the rooms are lovely. Great attention to detail and always super clean. The light is a bit dim in my opinion (e.g., reading or doing work in the rooms can be a bit challenging, but they'll give you extra lamps if you ask), but that goes with the whole 1920s atmospherics of the place. The breakfast options are very good (I usually have breakfast either at Millie's or at Zobler's) and surprisingly reasonably priced, and more generally all of the restaurants I've tried here (Lutyens and Cecconi's) are quite solid. Service is usually courteous and professional. One aspect of the hotel I find annoying is that they have live music *every night*, which is fine (you don't hear the noise in your room, unless you're on the second or third floor, but even then it's not loud), but it's open to the public and it gets extremely packed, so just coming back to your room in the evening can be a pain, as you'll need to navigate large crowds of (frequently dancing) people. I recommend entering and exiting from the side doors on Princes Street.
