Google
Fantastic wine bar. Curated selection by an enormously knowledgeable wine pro. If you want to expand and explore your wine experience and knowledge this is an amazing place. Can’t go wrong.

Google
Nice little wine store. For me, it's a nice combination of wines I know and new wines to explore. You can also do a wine flight or glass while you're there. The people serving us were very friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to check out.

Google
Neighborhood Cellar is a true neighborhood gem and gathering place. I see either a friend or neighbor without fail each visit. Every time I walk in, both Eric and David make sure to say hello and are always visiting with their customers. It feels like going to a friend's house - a friend who has the most incredible collection of wine. I appreciate the variety, samples and tastes before ordering, AND the incredible happy hour. SERIOUSLY! This is one of the best happy hour deals around. Thanks to Eric for creating this wonderful space!

Google
Great spot for wine lovers! Their club can grant you exposure to worldwide wines at a pace that works for you! Also great for a spot check-in for a glass!

Google
Great natural wine bar in Bishop Arts. Eric was super knowledgeable and helped us select a delicious Gamay wine that we all enjoyed. We'll definitely visit again for more wine recommendations!

Google
Very friendly owners/staff, free wine tastings and a really chilled out atmosphere. A highlight in the Bishop Arts District. To make the experience even better, they have an adorable Dachshund to keep all the customers company. Go enjoy some new and exciting wines and support this supper local business.

Google
One of my favorite wine shops in town. Not to mention they have a killer wine flight list and amazing cheese board. Great for a low key date night. The owners and staff are super friendly and love sharing their knowledge of wine.

Google
It’s so nice to support local. The curbside service was so easy. The selection is fantastic! The staff are so helpful and friendly. Keep an eye out for their online sales. I scored some Austin Eastciders half off! Also, great variety for Pinot Noirs which are my favorite. I have found my new go-to wine and spirits place.

Yelp
What a gem of a place in the Bishop Arts district! The happy hour is unbeatable! It's only $10 per carafe. I came here with a group of my co-workers and we ordered off the happy hour menu, which had a great selection. My only gripe was the lack of food at this place. Who doesn't want a snack when they are enjoying a glass of wine?! Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants down the street that we could choose from. Nonetheless, I'll definitely be back for happy hour!

Yelp
It was a spur of the moment decision, but I was very pleased with my stop here. They have $5 glasses on happy hour, and an interesting selection. The gentleman working was friendly and informative, and it is on a good corner to sit back, have a drink, and do a little people watching. I have had some hits and misses in the Bishop Arts area, but this is definitely a hit.

Yelp
This is such a cute little wine bar in the Bishop Arts district! Their happy hour is a steal, especially if you come with a large group ($10 per carafe!). We only ordered off the happy hour menu, but there was a nice selection, and we liked that our servers were very decisive about their recommendations. The only downside of this place is that they do not serve any food, so we had to venture down the street for something to eat.

Yelp
Staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. Selections are varied and representative of a cross cultural sampling. The atmosphere is pleasant and calming.

Yelp
And just like that when you're looking to do a wine tasting and relax with friends you find Neighborhood Cellar. This quaint, European esk store/tasting room/wine room is perfect for couples, small group ups and babies. There are rows of bottles to buy so parents of small children beware. We were offered a complimentary wine tasting of a white, rose and red. All delicious and explained beautifully by Josh! We each chose a different flight because we couldn't decide. I had the bubbles flight which had 3 generously poured sparkling wines. It was $10 and well worth it for what you get! My sister ordered the Sauvignon flight and her husband had the deep Cali Red Blend flight. We ended up loving LOVING a red on his flight (Leviathan) so we bought a bottle of it and enjoyed it there. There is no corking fee so sip away. If you don't finish the bottle they will will pack it up and let you take it home without a fee too! Food wise there are your typical (non-cooked) eats. We had a charcuterie cheese board that was alright. I would've liked to see one more cheese, rounding it out to 4 instead of 3 for the money ($16) but it was delicious none the less, it even had honeycomb to boot! Go in for a glass or buy the whole bottle! Great date night or a casual afternoon with friends!! This place is a must!

Yelp
Me and my friends starting coming here for HH and just continued to go to try everything else! Eric rules and is super friendly and attentive, he always recommends new wines we may like. The decor is simple and inviting. Nice natural lighting from all the windows. We always have a good time here!

Yelp
Discovered this gem after we ate dinner off of Davis St. the vibe is low key and intimate. The guys who work there were really knowledgeable and friendly. Great place to visit and support.

Yelp
Great spot to enjoy a nice glass of wine with friends (their Happy Hours are good value as well). Eric and the rest of the staff have always been very helpful in recommending new wines to us

Yelp
We were visiting Dallas for a weekend and ran across this wine shop. The workers were so nice and allowed us to taste several different wines they have featured and gave us great recommendations! We will definitely be back every time we are in Dallas!

Yelp
Very nice and casual setting to drink wine or just purchase and go. Not your traditional wine bar, but if you want a no pressure, causal vibe in bishop arts to drink wine, it's amazing. Their happy hour is perfect. I got two glasses of Pinot Noir for cheap and the staff is beyond friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
This place was nothing less than Amazing. I came here because I am into wine bars now and I love red wine. Had to try something outside of the norm. It is in a perfect location, with a very intimate low key setting. They have inside and outside setting as well. No need to worry about parking either there is a underground parking garage close by.The staff was very nice and accommodating. The price point was very reasonable and they do offer happy hour as well. HORRAY! What more do you need to hear? Get THERE Already!! It will defiantly be worth your time if you like great Wine, A relaxing atmosphere and Grand Time! F.YI. I had a semi sweet wine if that is your preface the picture of the bottle is in my photos. Enjoy!

Yelp
Just so happen that I noticed this place right before heading to one of my favorite BYOB Italian restaurants, which happens to be next door. What a awesome place located in the heart of bishop arts. I was promptly wisked away by Ian who had an extensive knowledge of the collection of wines in the store. His recommendations of a rose and merlot were spot on. I also love the free tasting, you actually get to taste some of the wines before you buy em #loveit I shy off from giving 5 stars. They have in the works a small kitchen to serve up a cachotterie board or tray. Once they go live with cachotterie, this place will b the bomb. They serve wine by the glass and you get to snack on some fine cheese, fruit and crackers. Yea I'll definitely be back in a few weeks to experience all they have to offer.

Yelp
This place is terrible. Don't go! Ok, now that the skimmers are gone, and those of us who love wine can keep this little gem to ourselves...WOW! Best wine spot in Dallas. Finally, a spot that appreciates great Italian wine as much as my bestie and I do! They've got a great selection of bottles ranging in prices from affordable to, "How much?!" and Josh and Roger, who are both amazing and very knowledgeable, will help you choose the perfect one. Their happy hour wines can not be beat. The nibbles are great and they don't mind if you bring in food to enjoy with your wine. Overall, it's a GREAT place to sit down with a friend and enjoy some wine, great atmosphere and awesome conversation. My only complaint? Their upstairs neighbors really need to get a handle on their water issues. :)

Jorge A.

Yelp
Great place to check out wines you have not had before. Friendly staff, good prices, and a lot of great wines. If in Dallas this is a must go to place for quality wines.

Yelp
Love this place! Roger and Josh were awesome! We did a tasting and took a bottle next door for dinner. Definitely a place to visit in Bishop Arts/ North Oak Cliff

Yelp
Very nice spot. Dropped in on a Wednesday evening and was greeted with a smile. We tried a red wine and it was an excellent first choice! The atmosphere is nice and smooth for a quiet wine down. Will definitely stop in again for another glass & bottle of red wine.

Yelp
Very knowledgeable staff and an outstanding selection of wines. I had an afternoon day date with my husband and we had a lovely cheese board along with French Rosè. Everything was perfect.

Yelp
Neighborhood Cellar makes a fantastic addition to the thriving Bishop Arts community. They specalize in bringing wines that hail from Napa Valley in all sorts of forms and varietals. The staff is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable as they have a Level II sommelier. They also offer complimentary tastings and I was privileged enough to try a sample of a vintage 1946 dessert wine. It was simply divine. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Visited Neighborhood Cellar last night. My party ordered four wine tastings. Each tasting was $15 and only had three 2oz wines in it. I would have liked to see 4 different wines in a tasting for that price. The wine was good not great. The vibe was slow and relaxed which I enjoyed. Overall not a bad experience, but I don't know if I would return as it is overpriced.

Yelp
This place is right next to my home so getting here is super convenient. This has a neighborhood feeling that isn't too commercial and doesn't scream million dollar investment. I like that the wines are reasonably priced, and the selection that have is very eclectic. You will definitely have fun exploring the wines they have. Plus, the owners are amazing.

Jay K.

Yelp
Do not order wine for delivery from these folks unless you like your wine to reach you warm. They have no clue on how to pack for a warm climate. My package had absolutely no insulation so it was ruined. Clearly they have no respect for their own products.
google avatar

Yelp
Chill, unpretentious shop with excellent wine. Bottom line, if they carry a bottle, it's good stuff. Broad price range to fit most budgets- just go in and tell them what you like and what want to spend. Can buy a retail bottle and have a glass in the store. Great (free) tastings. Josh and Ian are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Love this place! Minimal, modern, service was excellent. The happy hour is fantastic. Hummus and olives fresh and yummy and wine was excellent!!! Will definitely return here!!

Yelp
The best place in Dallas to grab a drink or bottles for your personal stock. We have been coming to Neighborhood Cellar for the last 2 years, and have always enjoyed our experience. Ian (owner) consistently does a great job of cycling in new and fun wines to the shop. We are excited to take some of the offered tasting classes in the future. Always a joy to have a drink, learn, and relax here.

Yelp
Wandered in since my boys were getting haircuts nearby. Cozy little place with great service & even better wine! Definitely want to come back for a girl's night or a date night with the husband!

Victoria G.

Yelp
Nick is awesome! Randomly stumbled in for a free wine tasting bc hey why not. Ended up having a bottle of sparkling "wedding" wine. The gift of the evening was truly getting to know someone that I've known more than half my life. Come here for great wine and soul connections.

Yelp
This is a great spot a block away from Bishop Arts. The owners are really friendly and knowledgeable about their products and provided great recommendations for our whole group. Everything was reasonably priced and the selection was great. I would highly recommend stopping in for a drink or for a bottle for home whenever you are in the area.

Yelp
Wonderful atmosphere, wine, bites, and services. One of my new favorite places! Recommend the flights as relax and stay awhile.

Yelp
Brooklyn here / Dallas transplants. Nestled just to the north-eastern quadrant of Bishop Arts on W Davis is a sparkling hope of what a wine bar should be: Neighborhood Cellar. Think "friendlyness of Cheers" meets "Upper East Side, Manhattan wine bar" meets "Tuscan winery" but without the pretention and tourists. This has become our new home away from home. One of the most knowledgable people of wine that I've ever met, Ian, runs this place with his wife Lindsey and two business partners, Nick and Lauren. All of whom are equally friendly, if not family-like. I've never been to a wine bar this addicting, and while there is no food menu, Ian et al gladly allow order-in of any restaurant that's willing to drop you off your favorite plate. You can easily crack a really nice bottle of wine from the $18-$30 range, but always be confident you are getting a quality product. That's not to say you can't drop $250+ on a nice bottle, but it's not quite the environment where the aspiring Kardashians and Lil' Waynes are looking to be seen, although, that would be a fun sight to see. The crowd here is eclectic and from all walks of life. Easily meet somebody visiting for the weekend from Montana, a local from the neighborhood, or even the next Anthony Bourdain. My wife and I love this place. Highly recommend.

Abiola S.

Yelp
Walked in to see what was going on and I was met by Shop Manager, Josh Beach. He was super friendly and showed me some of the stores many selections while suggesting great locations around the area! I highly highly recommend!!!!

A B.

Yelp
Best wine place in Bishop Arts! Also, incredible music selection to enjoy while you enjoy your wine GO!

L S.

Yelp
Great wine and great service. They have bottles that are in your everyday budget, but not "grocery store wines". They have a lot of knowledge and a beautiful place.

Tessa D.

Yelp
I attended a private event here and was blown away by how friendly and cooperative the staff was! They had a great layout for hosting events with lots of flexible seating where we could all sit together and catch up. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they were able to accommodate such a large group and still make it feel intimate. Naturally the wine was fantastic, thanks to the sommelier Ian who chose beautifully for the occasion! I could not be more impressed! I highly recommend Neighborhood Cellar if you are looking for a fantastic space and a breezy planning process for your special event!

Megan S.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Neighborhood Cellar, you HAVE to check it out! It is by far one of the most comfortable and inviting wine shops I have been to in Dallas. The owners and staff are incredibly knowledgeable about wine and are always willing to help with selections. I love popping in for a casual glass of wine and never leave empty handed. Bishop Arts it the perfect location for such a unique shop!

Paula L.

Yelp
We stopped in here tonight for a glass of wine and absolutely loved it! Very laid back atmosphere and a nice selection of wine. We will definitely be back!
