Neighborhood coffee has the best coffee and service! Highly recommend. I love this place so much that I’ve become a regular. The quality of their coffee is top notch and their baristas/staff are just so lovely and wonderful.

First time in moving to LA and won’t be the last. The two staff members this morning were super friendly and welcoming. I loved that after saying it was our first time in, he said let me give you a tour. Went thru the offerings on the drink menu and pointing out some of his favorites, such as the Flower Child, which was bright with fruity notes - perfectly poured. Our other was the La Brea - subtle but noticeable ginger with a slight background of molasses. It was warm, creamy and made to perfection by the barista. Pastries were delicious and they had lots of savory options to choose from as well. Great shop, the outside courtyard patio was a surprise that was a joy to sit on while enjoying our morning start!

I’ve visited this coffee shop three times now — I really wanted to give it a fair chance, especially since I live nearby. Each time, I ordered a flat white and specifically asked for it to be made stronger, because honestly, the coffee tastes like water (I’ve ordered flat white, not even latte). It’s incredibly weak — more like water with a hint of coffee flavor than an actual espresso-based drink. I even asked the baristas to use a medium or dark roast instead of a light one. They said okay, but the result was exactly the same — watery, flavorless, and disappointing. It genuinely feels like someone rinsed a coffee cup and served that water. For the price, this is just unacceptable. I’m sorry, but something seriously needs to change here. This was a major disappointment for me.

Really nice laundry mat, environment is clean and positive. Good music and great energy. Prices are good too w/ free dry Plus Gina is the sweetest! So friendly made the experience such a treat!

Today’s visit was extremely upsetting and disappointing as a local living in the neighborhood. I got 3 pastries and 2 coffees. While I am waiting for my coffee, I hear the employees talking negatively about me. They are purposefully talking loudly so that I can hear, “What?!!!! That big of an order and no tip?!!!!”. The other employee goes “I know right?!!”. It felt like an extremely intentional effort to shame me. She had me bag my own 3 pastries, overflowed my coffee to make a mess on the counter for me to clean up after learning of my lack of tip, and made my latte all milk/no espresso taste. Coincidental or not, this is not how anyone should start their day, especially being 8 months pregnant I’ve had a tough morning already 😕 My total already comes out $35 which is already on the more expensive side, I didn’t realize there was an unwritten rule that getting some pastries and coffee requires an obvious tip at this cafe, enough to be embarrassed publicly for it.

I got a almond milk flat white and it was sooo good. I mean worth writing a review about kind of good. Just wish they had a bigger space but I think I just happened to go during a rush. They have a cute outdoors patio space and there's plenty of neighborhood parking and parking lots in the area. Really enjoyed it.

The first time I visited Neighborhood, I wasn't expecting much and was happily surprised by the excellent flat white. Every visit after that, my first impression is only confirmed and reinforced. The staff is always friendly and smiling, though not the conversationalist type. Whether it's a cortado or iced latte, the delicious coffee always cheers me up on a chilly morning, or cools me down during one of those heat wave days. They keep the list of signature drinks short and nothing exotic. I tried the "Day Drinker", a whiskey vanilla latte that, as the name suggests, has a malty touch that makes the brisk 8am feel like a warm 11am. Neighborhood is located in a charming antique apartment complex called Casa La Brea. The storefront is small and deep, with a big table in the center, some merchandise displayed by the street window, and the coffee bar further inside. At the end of the room, you can get still and sparkling water on tap. It took me a while to discover the seating area in the patio of the apartment building. Four small tables are tightly set up in the patio entry way. Though always shaded and constrained by space, the seating area has a neat view of the patio and its stairs drenched in morning sunshine. The Spanish tiles look even more exquisite in the warm, pouring light. For a moment, I can pretend I'm in Andalusia.

Love a place that listens and is always looking to improve. That's what I learned during my second go around. Gabe the GM is an EXPERT. He talked me through the menu and I learned a lot. It was cool to hear about the weekly bean rotations and Australian company/growers they've added on. Service was excellent, it felt very welcoming and genuine. I tried the draft latte, tonic espresso, and a matcha drink. GET THE TONIC ESPRESSO. It's incredible. Refreshing and light. Draft latte was really good as well, co-worker had the matcha drink and she loved it. Glad I came back. Soo good I forgot to take pics.

I came here twice on a recent trip to LA. So happy i found this little cafe - their drinks are great and the little secluded courtyard is such a cute place to sit down and enjoy your drink/snack. I especially enjoyed their specialty latte with cardamom and orange blossom flavour. They get their baked goods catered (I know because I saw the exact same baked goods at other LA cafes) -- the everything vegan croissant is really good as well as the matcha donut. They also sell t-shirts, tea, coffee beans, a few random grocery items (like hummus), and small gifty things.

There's only street parking so you have to get lucky! I came to grab a few pastries and a latte but sadly was left disappointed. The latte tasted watered down and the ham & cheese croissant was so salty I had to make scrambled eggs and eat yogurt to help balance the sodium out. Hopefully I came on a bad day because the workers are very friendly and the outside seating is very cute!

Love coming here for a matcha latte! The interior is super cute and aesthetic. The service top tier and everyone's super nice. There's great seating inside and a cute courtyard with outdoor seating. Parking can be a bit tonight since it's only street, but I haven't ever had a problem. I will definitely be back!

I am dumbfounded by the rudeness of the whole establishment ., I wrote a review about neighborhood and they asked me to take it down . I did but then I went in to claim a gift card and they refuse service. I have always been friendly y with their staff and always have a tip , unfortunately I had a family Memeber in the hospital and dropped my drink . I asked if they could replace my drink and then they started harassing me ., I have spent over five thousand in that store , only to be belittled by the owner . Instead of calling me to apologise- he writes untruths about me .if giving tips to all his staff every time I came in is interpreted as harassment / I pray they have many more customers who harass their employees .. I am simply astonished by this .

A cute coffee shop with a few seating available outside. I went in on a Saturday and there was line but it moved quickly. Also they were having a pop up by Lulu and Georgia, which might be a reason it was pretty packed. I got the cold brew with a splash of oat milk, which was good and the almond croissant, which had strawberry jam in it - DELICIOUS! It was so flaky - I could not stop eating it. I will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Really cute little coffee shop...in the neighborhood! I get it. The vibe of this shop is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. My friend and I liked sitting on the sidewalk in the sun, people watching & chatting. I didn't even realize they had additional seating the outdoor alley. Noted for next time! Prices aren't bad and their cold brew was stellar. Staff was friendly as could be!

I don't usually write reviews but my experience here was so bad I have to share. The coffee is not good and it is very overpriced and half the size of a Starbucks cup. The cup is so small it shocked me when I saw it. $5.50 for a terrible small cup of coffee. Even worse are the employees. I was not greeted and I felt like I was bothering them when I was ordering. The only good thing is the location itself but not worth it. save your money and go get a good cup of coffee somewhere else in LA PS. Since the owner is so unhinged I will post my receipt from the coffee shop.

Great latte! Definitely coming back! I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon after brunch since I had this spot saved on Yelp. I easily parked a block away in the neighborhood and walked over. I was able to order and quickly get my drink since it wasn't busy. The barista answered my questions and explained their latte options. I appreciate when shops have their own specialty lattes. I decided on a hot Day Drinker latte, which was a bourbon vanilla latte. I'm not picky with my coffee, but I did walk away thinking "dang, this is a good latte." Tasted great, not overly sweet, good foam. Prices are average. The inside is bright and clean. There are seats at a counter against the front window and around the center table. There was another customer enjoying their drink inside. If I had time, I would have sat for a little. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area!

Ordered a lavender latte and it was really solid. Parking was kinda tricky depending on the time of day I just happened to catch them during rush hour so metered parking was a bit tricky to find. Super cute outdoor drinking space. Service was good.

I love neighborhood: their lattes are delicious & so smooth. They also have the cutest seating in their outdoor alley. The baristas are always so nice & remind me what all of their specialty lattes are. I have tried the orange one and am obsessed! I need to try all of the others

I had a lovely frothy hot matcha latte, but understand the other reviews for the matcha in that if you get an iced matcha latte with the same amount of matcha it may taste watered down. It's a very cute little store and I understand the goal of having a neighborhood meeting spot instead of a coworking space, but with the space as small as it is if there are more than two groups chatting it would feel a bit cramped to me - I would describe this as more of a "to go" space with the opportunity to maybe find a spot to sit.

If you want real strong coffee, you can find that here. There is someone to take your order, you can sit inside or outside. It was too cold outside, so of course I sat inside. I parked around the corner for free. Most people took their coffee to go, or sat for a bit and left. This wasn't too much of a sit and stay and work here all day kind of place. I felt caffeine drunk when I left.

Needed my caffeine fix on the way to pick up some banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery for a Friendsgiving. This coffee shop is located in the middle of all the boutique stores on La Brea. Found street parking relatively easily even though it was Thanksgiving weekend. Ordered my usual iced oat latte and it was quite tasty. There were about 3 parties ahead of me so had to wait a few minutes to get my drink but it wasn't too bad of a wait. They carry their own merch for their coffee shop which I thought was cute.

This is a cute place to get your caffeine fix! Their lavender latte is amazing.. just the right amount of sweetness. They have a few tables for outdoor seating. I'm lucky this spot is so close to work!

Was drawn to enter this little pink coffee shop while driving around the La Brea area and I'm so glad we had the chance to visit. The staff are so friendly and helpful! I also really like the interior because it's so cheery and charming. I love the pink, marble, and gold colors that flow throughout the cafe. The cafe also benefits from having a lot of natural lighting that makes it a great place to chill, or get some work done. I also liked their coffee a lot! I appreciate that they didn't charge for oat milk. We got the ginger molasses drink (I forget the name sadly) which I was hoping for a more ginger forward drink but it was still really good. We also got a regular vanilla latte and that was perfect with a hint of vanilla. They definitely use a lighter roast so it feels aromatic on the tongue. Can't wait to visit again!

Pretty decent! Definitely decorated very simple and nice. I ordered a chai tea latte and it was okay I didn't think too much of it.

Coffee was good, the customer service yesterday at 3pm was such a distraction. Watching her interact with guests right before us was unprofessional and was very concerning. And in addition the way she speaks to myself felt like she didn't care, disliked being + makes you feel dumb when you ask questions- as if we should not be asking.

I'll make this quick--the chai latte (and every other latte on their menu) is heavenly.

This is one of the best local coffee shops in Los Angeles. They are the perfect mix of upscale quality with a laid-back vibe. Please try the 'day drinker' as it's such a fantastic latte. With sharp notes of bourbon and vanilla, it's the perfect way to start the day. This place is aptly named because there are so many locals that walk over for their daily brew.

A great spot to refuel your body and recharge the mind! I recommend the brew they have with lavender and vanilla as well, their syrups really compliment each other perfectly; that drink was also recommended to me by the friendly baristas behind the bar! Rad little coffee haven in the middle of a busy La Brea blvd. Everyone who works here is super nice and accommodating (even of all the most atrocious LA orders imaginable). They got tasty pastries and an assortment of snacks and coffee swag. Notable mention - they use great beans which you can purchase too. There's a cute table on the inside, but the patio in the courtyard is the vibe if you're looking to camp out and read a book or do something work-related. Parking can be a bit tricky just cause there are so many shops around, but its always worth the effort.

Such a cute coffee shop with a few indoor and outdoor seating and multiple plugs. Lighting is good as well. Got their matcha latte and it was def one of the better ones I've had around LA. You can park on the streets or park at the parking structure behind, I believe $2 per hour?

I- love this coffee shop. I wanted to gatekeep it, but I had to share. The location, interior, outdoor seating, and most importantly the coffee is all amazing. My coworker and I visited during our lunch break and was taken aback at how beautiful the atmosphere was. We ordered oat milk lattes, and it was to perfection. I felt like I was in Europe somewhere on vacation rather than on a lunch break. We didn't even know time was passing while we were enjoying the cute shop. The only bad thing was that there is no onsite parking, but if you know the area, it is like that for every store there. I also think it's a good spot to visit because there are many stores nearby for shopping.

Best oat cappuccino and latte in town! Also 3d street special is must try! Great team, always feel so welcomed. Great spot to have a beautiful start of the day! Thank you guys!

Super cute coffee shop. Super pink. The interior design/ color scheme is so sleek and simple. I ordered the You Autumn Know iced latte which is their version of pumpkin spice latter. It was super strong and the pumpkin spice was not well mixed. Service was friendly and quick!

Love this cute coffee shop! I got the chai latte here and it's one of my favorite chai's ever. It has a more spice flavor, and isn't overly sweet which I appreciated. I love the opened seating and casual feel of everything here. There's also a little outdoor back patio or do work if you'd like. I've been back twice already and can't wait to come back already!

Let's put it this way, we like trying different cafes on our bike rides and it is extremely rare that we revisit the same one, so it's kinda a big deal that we've been to Neighborhood several times now and plan on returning many more times to come. The first couple times we came, the vegan cinnamon bun easily became one of our favorite pastries in LA. While it is a huge disappointment that the baker making them has gone on an indefinite hiatus, they have plenty other fantastic pastries, not to mention one of my favorite matcha lattes! Last but not least, the courtyard. It is an idyllic enclave that transports you to another world. I absolutely adore this place.

I absolutely love this place! I feel so lucky to say that this is my neighborhood coffee shop :) I come here regularly and they never disappoint. All of their specialty lattes are delicious, but my favorites are the Como La Fleur (lavender) and the Day Drinker. I have yet to try their pastries but they always look fantastic. The staff is always friendly, and they have a really cute outdoor seating area on the side. Definitely recommend! Also, huge bonus, but they are incredibly fast! I typically am in and out of there in less than 10 minutes!

Neighborhood is a very cute coffee shop with good quality coffee and a nice, serene patio where you can chill. I got an espresso that was flavorful and not overly bitter. The interior is a bit minimalist and clean and the courtyard is a nice getaway to feel like you're having a cup of coffee outside the typical hustle and bustle of LA. Street parking if you can find it.

What a cute coffee shop!! This is a cute place with amazing coffee! I love the names of their drinks and the staff is super friendly. I know sometimes going into a coffee shop like this can be a bit intimidating if you're not a huge coffee drinker but the staff here is very welcoming and explains all the names of the drinks. My favorite is a como la flor which is a lavender latte. My bf loves the day drinker which has a slightly alcoholic flavor to it (even though it doesn't have alcohol) The prices are a little bit high but I think it's worth it at a shop like this where the quality really shines through each drink! Highly recommend :)

I'm always on the hunt for a good matcha- and Neighborhood did not disappoint. They use ceremonial grade matcha & it was whisked/mixed to perfection! The workers were extremely friendly & the ambiance both inside and outside were so cute! I'll definitely be back!

This is the best coffee shop in LA. Every time I go the coffee is great and the high quality of the beans is evident. The overall aesthetic and vibe of the place is beautiful and everyone working there is nice. The pastries, breads, yogurts, etc are so well curated and delicious.

Super cute place! I love that they have lavender to add to drinks. I got an iced chai with lavender and oat milk. They said their chai is a mix of spicy and sweet, but personally it wasn't sweet enough for me, and I couldn't taste the lavender hardly at all. They also use a ton of cinnamon in their chai, so heads up if you aren't into that. I got a pastry which was decent but nothing super memorable. I love the aesthetic and vibe here, and the staff were friendly and helpful! I just wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Love this cute place so much! Their patio is so quiet and peaceful. Looks like there are apartments up there. I always get some herbal tea. Tastes good:) I usually come here during the day, And there are lots of street parking I've never had any issues:)

Hands down, my favorite coffee in town. They brew their coffee to perfection. And they have an incredible iced oat milk latte on draft! Go check it out and sit in the adorable little outdoor court yard that has real Moroccan vibes.

This is one neighborhood you're going to want to visit to get your coffee! Me and my girlfriend stumbled upon this place one day and what a great find! My favorite coffee is the day drinker a sweet coffee drink that makes me feel like an alcoholic with the name lol. The staff is super friendly and cool. Giving this place 5 stars because it is what your "neighborhood" coffee shop should be. Everyone there was friendly and personable. The morning bun was super solid and has a citrus twist (thanks to my barista for recommending). Prices are fair and the coffee was great. They even added the perfect amount of cream which is a pet peeve of mine because even nicer shops tend to dump it in there. I also really enjoyed that they had a little pantry. I've seen a few other shops doing this as well (GGET and Sightglass for example), but theirs felt more like a nicer corner store than a real grocery. Might make coffee runs here a Friday habit!

First time here. Coffee is ok but the guy who was making the coffee sucked. He was rude and was gave us attitude for no reason. Apparently he was pissed because I wanted my macchiato iced. Sorry the order was too complicated for you & sorry I left you a tip.

I popped in here for the first time and decided to try the La Brea latte. WOW! So good. It has ginger and molasses in it, which sounds weird, but the flavors came together for a perfect latte. Will definitely be coming back.

So so cute. It's in a historic building with an adorable courtyard where you can sip your drink of choice. Matcha latte was on point. Highly recommend!
