Catch a Game at These Top Nashville Sports Bars

"What began as a little offshoot of a hair salon in Sylvan Park has become a popular three-bar operation for co-owners Victoria and Zach Piller, who now have boisterous locations in Germantown and Franklin. Each location does some of its own things in terms of menu and entertainment, but they all broadcast sports games on their multiple TV sets, deck the walls with memorabilia, offer a variety of beers, and serve their own properly smoked meats like wings and pork shoulder." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Neighbors’ Germantown Outpost Opens in Former Lulu Space This Wednesday - Eater Nashville

"Neighbors Germantown opens Wednesday, August 1 at 313 Jefferson Street — the second location for the Sylvan Park-based bar. Located in the former Lulu space near First Tennessee Park, Neighbors Germantown’s appetizer menu shows standard bar fare, from nachos and wings to fried mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and fried pickles. Other food options include a pulled pork sandwich, an Angus burger, a quinoa bowl, and a Caprese salad. Neighbors smokes their own dry-rubbed meats in-house, including pork, turkey, brisket, and chicken. The Sylvan Park location has 20 beers on tap, live music multiple nights a week, daily happy hour, and a dog-friendly patio. Neighbors is owned by Victoria Piller, wife of former Tennessee Titan Zach Piller. The Germantown bar will have a similar sports bar feel as the Sylvan Park location, and is open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 a.m., and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Visited while in town for a work conference. We wanted to gather for some trivia and good beer. Neighbors did both those things. My colleagues also enjoyed the bar/pub food. While it was busy, we were able to find a seat and enjoy ourselves. You could tell that it's a place many folks visit routinely, especially for trivia night. It was also a lovely walk from The Gulch area.

Google
This is my go-to sports bar in town. The staff is friendly and works quickly. Their food is really good and their menu is huge. Anyone can find something to eat and drink. Their bar is huge, too. The place is covered in TVs so it’s a great place to watch a game. It is packed during college football season, so if you have a game you want to watch, I recommend either getting there to watch the game before it or at least at halftime of the game before it. They have a great patio too. It’s pretty chill during the week and their happy hour is solid and goes until 7pm!!!! You can’t find that anywhere in Nashville.

The sandwiches were good. Tots were great. Cuban was dry. Phillies were excellent Nashville hot chicken sandwich was overcooked but had a good taste as far as the level of spicy. Drinks were sugary and weak.

Good selection of beers and cocktails. Screens for sports. Outside seating. We popped in here a few times, and had different experiences. We went twice late in the evening on Friday and a Saturday. Not many other people there and service was quick and friendly. One time we had food from their late night menu, mozzarella sticks and tots, and the portions were generous and tasty. We also went on a Sunday for brunch before a Nashville Sounds game (it's very near the stadium). The signage said to seat yourselves, and a server would come to you. Spaces at clear tables, so we did. We sat for a while before someone came past and said someone else would be with us shortly, 15-20 mins later we gave up and left.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Neighbors in Germantown, and I must say that the experience was made even more exceptional by the outstanding service provided by the manager, Chance. From the moment we arrived, Chance greeted us warmly and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Throughout the meal, they were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our needs were met and that we had everything we needed for a great dining experience. What truly stood out was Chance's leadership and the positive atmosphere they cultivated among the staff. It was evident that the team respected and admired Chance, and that energy translated into exceptional service across the board. Chance also took the time to personally check in with each table, ensuring guests were satisfied with their meals and offering helpful suggestions from the menu. Overall, the professionalism and genuine care Chance demonstrated truly elevated our visit. It's clear that Chance takes great pride in both the restaurant and the guest experience, and I can't wait to return! Highly recommend visiting Neighbors in Germantown if you're looking for excellent food and top-notch service.

Google
Our experience at Neighbors was truly one to remember—and it was all thanks to Chance! From the moment we walked in, Chance went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing, but the exceptional customer service took everything to the next level. Chance’s attentiveness, friendly attitude, and genuine care made our visit unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends! Thank you, Chance, for making our night so special!

Google
Stopped in today and sat outside. Even though it was "seat yourself" I was promptly greeted by Bennett. He gave wonderful service checking back regularly, and had a great attitude. Food was also delicious. Got the chicken tenders. 3 fresh (huge) tenders that were cooked correctly. Great flavor as well. Well done, Neighbors!

Google
This place is awesome with a capital A. A sports bar with all kinds of cool things to look at on the walls. If you love pro wrestling they have some cool stuff and even movies as well. Food and drinks were very good. Great place to stop for a bite to eat before or after a Nashville Sound game. I liked the chicken strips and Mac and cheese. Will definitely recommend to anyone and will be back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
We visited Neighbors twice while in Nashville to watch college football. We enjoyed their craft beer selection along with a few appetizers. The atmosphere is great for enjoying any sporting event. Our service was excellent both nights.
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
This is a really cool sports bar. Tons of memorabilia all over the walls. TVs cover most of the uncovered walls. The server was good and polite. Place was clean. The food was basic to me. I have a sandwich and salad. It was ok. The tater tots were tasty tho. Everyone with me repeated those same sentiments. Prices are low and there is free parking. I would go back but for like drinks and a happy hour special.

Mackenzie G.

Yelp
As a regular, I have been treated so nicely by all the staff every single time. Highly recommend for a friendly atmosphere, sports watching, and bar food. Again, the service is incredible and I always feel welcomed no matter if I am by myself or with others and no matter the day.

Yelp
For a bar, it is a cool enough destination. I did not try any of the food on this trip, but the staff was friendly and professional and added to my overall experience. As for the atmosphere, think sports bar. Nothing fancy, but plenty of TV's and an overall sports bar vibe. This was a cool enough place to while away a bit of time and enjoy some down time.

Taylor H.

Yelp
Terrible food. Ownership is a joke. Special drinks 3.50 for one bucket for 6 it's 22. Extra dollar to buy 6 at once

Yelp
Sports bar rating 8/10 Food rating 4/10 The environment fits your typical sports bar. There are a few different sections to the place which breaks up the different groups/games going on. I came on a Tuesday so there wasn't much to watch on TV. The music choice was good but it was annoying because the volume was super inconsistent which made it hard to hold a conversation. There is a small shared parking lot with the Geist but you probably will NEVER get a spot there so you will likely have to pay for parking or park on one of the side streets and walk. As for food, I ordered the brisket quesadilla per our waitress's recommendation. Unfortunately it wasn't that great. It was pretty dry and unsatisfying. I did get a side of Brussels and those were good - so good that they probably were not very healthy anymore. Also, I was not very happy with the service either since it was very slow.

Yelp
This is a great sports bar for watching the game, enjoying trivia night, or just sinking a few beers with friends. The customers here are on the younger side, but remember you are in Germantown. A buddy of mine just moved to the neighborhood and we met up here for a few drinks. The bar was packed for trivia night; plus their was a home game for the Nashville Sounds game. I ordered a a few vodka sodas, mozzarella sticks, and queso & chips for the table. The service was fast and the mozzarella sticks were amazing! I had about three drinks, one being a double and with the food my tab was only $42, I'll take it! I could see this place getting rowdy on a Friday or Saturday night, just a heads up! Trivia on Tuesdays and late night food specials offered everyday. I'll most likely be back for the Titan's home opener.

Yelp
A great stop for a friendly face and fresh drink! Lots of TVs and fun movie and sports art all over the walls. We walked in exactly at opening time and the bartender was kind and helpful. They had my favorite canned gin cocktail so I was excited. The place was clean and the food menu looked classic for a sports pub, we didn't order food. Bathroom was clean and I would recommend it on a hot summer day!

Yelp
Nice local bay in Germantown. Good food and beer selection of beer. Very friendly staff.

Alex D.

Yelp
Staff at the location are very welcoming. The food is always consistent and on par for the sports bar theme. Recently the management has continued to change the friendly "neighborhood" bar into more of a glorified Buffalo Wild Wings. As a local for half a decade at the location, typically change occurs but this has been a more noticeable and significant change. I've felt unwelcome, and almost shunned by new managers on site. Hopefully it can change back soon to its originally neighbors form.

Wyatt H.

Yelp
Staff is the best, food is good, environment is fun. Management is slowly driving it into the ground and becoming a corporate business more than your local bar. Locals don't feel welcomed anymore. All Neighbors locations are turning into a sports themed Applebees than a legit sports bar and grill. Hope that can change but expectations are low
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
It is a neighborhood sports bar people -- don't expect Michelin-starred food here! That being said, the food is good bar food. Great nachos with smoked chicken. Full bar with good service. It's a great place for locals to hang out, grab a few drinks and watch some games. I wish there was parking but in that area, parking is just hard to come by. If you are in the area, it is worth stopping in for a drink!
google avatar

Ann S.

Yelp
Came here to watch the Bucks game and grab lunch. It was OK. Burger good- not great. Sprouts were good- but since they were deep fried, not co Vince's they were at all healthy. Alas.
google avatar

Horton L.

Yelp
It's an alright spot if you live close. But don't come here for it because it's not worth it. It's just a regular pub with nothing special. I do however appreciate their free water on tap. If you want to watch sports but don't have tv at home I would recommend coming here otherwise skip it
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
The place to watch the game. You have to like noises and busy. The patrons are friendly and love to watch some sports. It's a younger group for sure.
google avatar

Randolph A.

Yelp
Stopped in here on the way to the weed bar. Everyone was screaming early in the am as they opened for the us soccer game. Place was mobbed packed. Ordered beers and shots that were served with very little wait. The place was packed with friendly people and everyone was having a great time. The atmosphere is a sports bar and they truly live up to it. Great place to check out in Nashville!
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
We were visiting from Florida and stopped in because this spot was close to the Sounds stadium. The ambiance was great. Our server Shane was absolutely amazing. He was attentive to us all including our 3 year old daughter. The Nashville hot chicken was great. I had prince's yesterday at my he recommendation of the night auditor at our hotel and it sucked. This will be our go to spot anytime we're in Nashville.
google avatar

Cristina M.

Yelp
Great local sport bar in Germantown. Staff is friendly, people are local and cool casual Ambience. Beers are more of the thing than well drinks. Please dont come asking for a martini . Wings are a most and truth be told impressive Cuban sandwich. No! its not the traditional cuban but the pulled pork gave it a good taste. If the step up the game with the Ham it can beat any cuban sandwich in miami. Will definitely be visiting oft
google avatar

Krista R.

Yelp
Super chill, wasn't busy when I went (Sunday afternoon) I got a Buffalo chicken wrap with brussel sprouts and OMGGG best brussels ever and the chicken was the perfect amount of spicy.
google avatar

Chay W.

Yelp
I give this bar a 4 because The atmosphere and staff are amazing. From the moment you step in the bar you are made to feel comfortable and inviting. They seem to have a good drink menu as well. As far as the food the fries are AMAZING! They are seasoned to perfection and any sauce you add is just adding to the greatness. The chicken tenders I could do without and the wings were a little dry but ok. Overall I definitely go back but probably stick to drinks and fries.

Tiffani B.

Yelp
Great food, great service - Dylan and Dallas are our favs!! They always go above and beyond. Foods always on point and no better place on game day.
google avatar

Grant E.

Yelp
Neighbors Germantown has a can't be beat location and a great atmosphere to catch any game you could want to watch. Loaded with TVs and typically packed to the brim it's always a good time to catch a sporting event. The food leaves a little more to be desired a bbq centric menu is just fine but could use some more diversity and standout items to bring a better experience.
google avatar

Dan D.

Yelp
We loved this place. All the food was excellent. We got the Buffalo mac and cheese, and a Turkey avocado wrap. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Bambi B.

Yelp
Stopped in on a rainy night. Ordered draft beer and loaded baked potato. My friend ordered a BLT. The draft beer was served in a plastic glass. I prefer real glass that makes beer taste better. Potato was not fully done and had hardly any load on it. The cheese wasn't even totally melted. The BLT and fries were fair. When the waiter brought the check he stood over us till we got money out to pay and didn't even ask if we needed change. I thought that was really rude and felt like we were being rushed out and it wasn't even busy. Will never go back here.
google avatar

Ashleigh R.

Yelp
I'm surprised this place has bad reviews, to be totally honest. We stopped in to get something to eat before the Celebrity Softball Game at the baseball stadium. I ordered the veggie burger. 10/10 recommend. The garlic aioli makes it. My gf ordered a regular burger and loved it. We also loved the buns used. Service was fantastic, even if there was one person taking care of the entire floor. We didn't have to wait for anything. Would recommend if you are in the area to see a game, etc.
google avatar

Hank D.

Yelp
Awesome vibe and great service staff. The food is good and always on point. I have been coming here for at least over 2 years and glad it reopened after the March 3, 2020 tornado. I usually get the Turkey club on sour dough and that is always my standard when I hit Neighbors. The wings are also great and drinks are super cold and tasty. It's always nice to be welcomed into a place that remembers you. Dylan is a great bartender as a true hospitality professional. The Covid and tornado has done quiet a job on this place, but they are back and better then ever. The proper protocols are in place and the sports items hanging around are certainly a treasure trove of WWF, NFL, Predators, and other great sports memorabilia. If you want some good food and drinks I recommend you to make this your spot of choice.
google avatar

Mark H.

Yelp
So if you want to get away from the Nashville Tourist scene and chill with the folks this is it. The wings are on point, staff is cool, clientele is real and choices and prices are in line. Just do it!

Agatha Z.

Yelp
First of all, our server Cleve was WONDERFUL! He was energetic, kind, and knowledgeable (his food and beer recommendations were completely on point), and all around awesome; I'm a server myself and I will strive to be more like him. We were helped by a few other people than him (you really get a teamwork vibe here), the bartender and the gentleman that dropped off our food (I'm sorry I didn't get their names), all phenomenal. Secondly, we ordered the nachos with pulled pork and they were absolutely delicious. Thirdly, the music and ambiance were flawless. Whenever we pass through Nash again (we live in Knox but have family in Nash) we will absolutely return!!
google avatar

Dillon M.

Yelp
First time here! Super cool sports bar with a good amount of tvs to watch the games! Our server Gillian was fantastic - loved her. I wasn't a fan of the All Fried Up appetizer as it didn't taste fresh at all. The drinks, atmosphere and service were great, though, so we will be back for sure!
google avatar

Wendy G.

Yelp
Lol the food was bad, but the drinks weren't terrible, our server was very nice, we really liked him, if the food would of been just a little better, it would of been ok, but the food was just so so so so so extremely terrible, the nachos didn't have cheese on it, just a whole lot of lettuce, it looked like a 5yr old made it and they gave us BBQ sauce for it........lol very odd. The chicken quesadilla also barely had any cheese on it, also looked like a 5yr. made it, the mozzarella sticks were 100% bought from Kroger's and just microwaved it, and the wings can speak for itself in the picture. I'm still going to give it a 3 star because the server was very nice, customer service was not an issue at all.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Best spicy Bloody Mary my friends and I have ever had! We came in while waiting for a bunch table at Von Elrond's and were shocked by how delicious the bloody Mary's were! 10-10!
google avatar

Melissa O.

Yelp
Went in on a Friday afternoon, and had great service from Dylan! Unfortunately, it's not common to see friendly bartenders anymore.

Jamlia S.

Yelp
The best neighbor sports bar. Food is pricey but great happy hour and atmosphere. Staff make it totally worth it-- especially Cleve, Dallas, and Dustin.

Max B.

Yelp
Horrible drinks, and bartender had a huge attitude. Two drinks ordered and those are the pours? Glasses dirty and would not add more. Food was good though!

Hunter C.

Yelp
Cuban Sandwich I ordered the Cuban. It's not a Cuban sandwich. It's on Texas toast? What a travesty. Please rename this item on the menu to something different unless y'all grow up and start making Cuban bread like men. Other than that pork and ham were good.
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
Sports Saloon in the stadium's shadow. Dropped into this div-y joint next to Nashville's 1st Horizon Park. They have a fantastic collection of craft beers. The menu was both "pubby" and Nashville. The "Hot" dry rubbed smoked wings were awesome.
google avatar

Julie M.

Yelp
I came to Neighbors yesterday and had two delicious Old Fashioned's. Today I came back and there was a different bartender. This is what was served after I removed the ice and huge orange wedge. Worst drink I've ever been served.
google avatar

Rowland F.

Yelp
I just don't understand how 3 $6 drinks wound up being $27 before tip. I actually even thought I was in happy hour but apparently not before Sounds games. That could be better advertised as well. 3 stars cause our bartender was still friendly and because I guess I should have checked, but I was never given an itemized receipt and was rushing. It is what it is I guess but ask for the itemized when you go.
google avatar

Tom F.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick late lunch. Dylan was bartending and working the entire place serving tables also. Fantastic and efficient service, and great free parking right behind the building.
google avatar

Alyson Y.

Yelp
We just had the best time here for Tuesday Night Trivia, and we came in 5th place out of 9 teams. Lots of seating. Lots of parking. Free street parking. Paid lot is only $5 for 3 hours. Trivia questions are really challenging, but still fun. Lots of turn out. Good food. Heavy pours. Reasonable prices. We can't wait to come back for more!

Kee C.

Yelp
Nice Vibe..Love the Atmosphere, but the food OMG..not good .. smoked chicken..DRYDRYDRY NO FLAVOR AT ALL, had the nacho and chicken salad... The service was good, they did care that our experience was not the best.. Thanks
google avatar

Cissy W.

Yelp
Located in Germantown, it has a nice curb appeal. Staff is very friendly, welcoming. Accommodated our large group size and even helped us relocate to a better spot for playing trivia. We played on Tuesday Night, the host was good, entertaining but kept the game moving. The beer was good and there was a nice variety including local favorites. The food was ok. I had a BLT with curly fries. The sandwich was fine, just the kind of BLT you might make in your own kitchen. The fries were curly but sort of jumbo curly. Summary of experience was fine though nothing compelling in the food that would bring us back if not for an event.
google avatar

Pagey M.

Yelp
I go to neighbors often but in this Saturday we had excellent service! Rachel served us for 11 hours! We had a big group and we started just wanting to watch one game but stayed all day. She made sure the TVs outside were on the right games and moved us inside when it started to rain. She was really fantastic. Thanks for everything!

Maggie S.

Yelp
Randall the bartender was awful - horrible service and not efficient. We waited for an hour in the front of the line - I highly don't recommend from someone who lives in Nashville.
google avatar

Regan G.

Yelp
The service here is awful. I live close by and would love to love this place but the service!!! It's a cool place to grab some drinks, but I'll usually just grab a bite to eat at home before coming here.
google avatar

Frank H.

Yelp
Limited food menu, expansive draft beer selection. Plenty of TV's. Ample bar seating. Sporty atmosphere. Great service. I ordered the quinoa bowl and added chicken -- which cost an extra $3 -- bringing the total to $16, which was a bit steep for a lunch dish IMO. The chicken was pretty tough, but the rest of the quinoa bowl was pretty good. We also ordered the summer salad, which we really enjoyed.
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Nice place. Nice menu. Nice selection. Tons of TV's. As for the service. I noticed it waivers depending on who is servicing you. Gillian (sorry may have misunderstood his name) and one of the Waitresses were fantastic. Polite and easy going with the customers. Very patient, relaxed, and professional. It's appreciated. However a couple of ladies behind the bar need some attitude adjustment. Too much eye rolling, you are wasting my time body language and facial expressions. When people continually walk away from the bar going "what a b!tch", you need to adjust the attitude. You are IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY! It's your job to serve people to make the establishment make money and make you money as well. You will take "dumb" or "stupid"questions many times. It's part of the job. If you hate servicing the dumb or stupid question people, then find another form of employment. You attitude is not cute. It's a turn off.
google avatar

Katrina D.

Yelp
Been here a few times, always fun when with friends. Most recently, we were here on a Saturday afternoon during football season, it was packed. Good for a neighborhood hang out spot for sure and maybe for pregaming before hitting up downtown. It's a local bar for sure. There's some street parking along 4th that's available and they do have a good sized parking lot, expensive to park though. Walking if you're close or using Lyft or something to get here would probably be ideal. Really good beer selection and they have a full bar as well. We were drinking pitchers because we were in a big group. We went through about a dozen of them but we camped out for a while and there were, at most, 12 of us there. The tab with a few snacks was very reasonable. The tots were excellent for sharing and we got mozzarella sticks also. Mission for the afternoon was for everyone to hang out and drink. Neighbors did not disappoint for what we wanted. Service was steady, munchies were good, and there were lots of TV's around with every game you would want to watch on all at the same time. I'd come back to hang out.

Connie H.

Yelp
Clean and fun atmosphere. Trivia Tuesdays. Great bushwackers and cider selection. Glad we checked it out!

colleen m.

Yelp
Just visited the cool springs location. There's no yelp for that location at this time. It's loud. It's got a great vibe and really cool photos, etc on the wall. A fun atmosphere. Food was really good and fast. Unfortunately there aren't enough servers. We waited 20 minutes for our server to come take a drink order. Our food came out fast but we never got silverware....ate with our hands... even though we asked several times. The "cheese curds" which were actually fried mozzarella ...were good but it comes with a very small container of marinara sauce. Asked twice for more sauce. Never got it. We also had the pork nachos. Again... they were yummy but all the toppings...salsa, guacamole and sour cream come in cheap, SMALL plastic containers. Come on guys...that plastic container cost more than 5x what the salsa cost. Just throw that salsa x5 on the nachos. TOO SMALL OF TOPPINGS!!! Servers seem to be working hard but they just have too many tables to take care of....I'm guessing anyway. Overall this place has great potential...just hope they can get their service issues in order.
