"At Neisha Thai, manager Pimmie Jungtranggur says the restaurant is 'honored' to work with Woks for Washington. 'We just have to ... channel all our energy to get everyone through this together,' she writes over email. According to Jungtranggur, the pandemic has reversed Neisha’s sales breakdown. Carryout and delivery have replaced dine-in sales as the main source of revenue." - Sarah Cooke

Sunday evening visit…sat at the bar. Great atmosphere (not a hype/loud bar), solid drinks….lots of liquor and wine choices, and American & Asian beers. Food was amazing, set your own spice level!!!! Service is always great here!!

Google
Neisha is my favorite Thai restaurant in the DMV area. We've been coming here for the past 4 years and will keep coming back. The food is generally less sweet but more savory comparing to Sisters. And the portion is more reasonable for the price you're paying.

Google
Amazing Thai food you will not regret. The seafood tom yum soup hit the spot and the Crying Tiger steak was delicious. The service was excellent and welcoming. When I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back to try other popular dishes.

Google
It was a wonderful place. The food was nicely cooked and served. We tried deep fried shrimp with egg noodles as appetizer and headed to entree. For entrees we tried maasumen curry and dangerous shrimp. Maasumen curry was good enough and was very subtle in taste. It came along with rice. You can take extra rice if needed. The dangerous shrimp was served with steamed broccoli over brown sauce. The sauce was tasty apart from the dish. For drinks we tried Thai ice tea which was really great less sweet and full of flavors. The service was amazing. Our server kept on asking after every meal and kept a note of not letting us wait much longer for food. The ambiance was just so amazing. Felt like we are in some native thailand restaurant. I like the ceiling waterfall they have inside and also how they used the thailand inspired art to decorate the ambiance. You should must visit and try the place and their food.

Google
Very delicious Thai food. My girls loved the pineapple fried rice and the drunken noodles (medium spice). Mango sticky rice was also great!

Google
On the previous Saturday, I had the delightful opportunity to have a meal with my family in order to celebrate my son's birthday at this remarkable Thai restaurant. The cuisine was absolutely delectable and the servings were exceptionally generous. I particularly relished the Pad Thai Jae Traditional Noodles dish. In addition, we indulged in a variety of other dishes such as Spring Rolls, Veggie Fried Rice, and a couple of chicken entrees. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, featuring traditional Thai decorations and pleasant music. The wait staff was amiable and attentive, consistently ensuring that everything was to our liking. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a distinctive dining experience that encompasses superb food, outstanding service, and a delightful atmosphere.

Google
This Thai restaurant used to be one of our favorites in the area. However, since there are now many good Thai food options in the DMV, it's been a while since our last visit. Nonetheless, we plan to return to dine there soon. The food served at this restaurant is delicious, with well-balanced flavors in each dish. The service is generally decent, and the ambiance is unique, with a waterfall fixture, a small water pond, and stylish lampshades on the ceiling. It feels dim during dinner time and makes the overall ambiance cozy.

Google
Great Thai spot right outside the mall in Tyson's. The atmosphere is very pretty and the food was fantastic. The crispy fish we got with the garlic sauce was definitely the BEST thing there. So rich In flavorful. The green curry pasta was also very rich with flavor. If you like shrimp definitely get the fried shrimp with the sweet and sour sauce. Overall great restaurant with very friendly and kind staff.

Yelp
I came here in a party of 6 for Father's Day with a reservation and we were seated immediately. The decor and ambiance create an elevated experience of Thai cuisine. Great for special occasions! For appetizers, we ordered the Neisha tempura, satay, and papaya salad. The tempura had a nice crunch and came with a sweet & sour dipping sauce. The satay skewers sat on a bed of savory peanut sauce that paired so well with each other. The papaya salad had a very slight kick with all the complex sweet/sour/savory flavors in the dressing. For entrees, I would recommend the crying tiger steak, which was very flavorful and tender. The mussamun curry and pattaya noodle were both delicious! The pad see eaw wasn't as flavorful as I've had at other restaurants and didn't have that nice char flavor that I usually love about the dish. They finished the night off with dessert on the house for us since it was Father's Day. The dessert soup had rice cake, taro, and sweet potato in a sweet coconut sauce (couldn't find it on the menu). Good way to end the night! Thanks for the great service!

Neha R.

Yelp
This is a nice sit-down restaurant with a wide breadth of options, including several for vegetarians and others that could be adapted. The papaya salad was really good, as were the curries (e.g. green curry). They have a lot of appetizers and street food, which was unique. Otherwise the vegetarian food wasn't generally that different from a typical Thai restaurant. But it's definitely a good spot for a standard large group dinner!

Lord M.

Yelp
Swanky Thai spot in the Tysons area. Here for a client meeting and the ambiance was great. Service was a bit slow due to a group of 15 ahead of us but the food was amazing and worth the wait! Got the Talay rice dish. As always in any Thai joint you have to get the spice tray!

Yelp
3.5 Was in town again and my friends and I were craving Thai food. They had never been at this restaurant before so thought it would be nice for them to experience this place. It was not crowded at all as we arrived about 5:30pm. Personally, I love *Tom Kha soup so this time I added shrimp For my entree I ordered *Pad Thai - Rice noodles stir-fried with shrimp, bean sprouts, scallions, crushed peanuts and egg My friend ordered KEE MAO KAI - Chunks of chicken Sauteed with fresh basil leaves and chili sauce, served on a bed of wide rice noodles. My Tom Kha soup was okay. I expected it to have more veggies other than mushrooms as I have had it numerous times made that way in other Thai restaurants. The Pad Thai was good though. I tried the KEE MAO KAI and I was not impressed at all with it. Anyway, this experience was average.

Aarti B.

Yelp
My favorite Thai restaurant in Tyson's! I've tried a dozen places in McLean and Vienna and always go back to Neisha! Great options for vegetarians and meat-lovers with generous portion sizes. My go-to dish is the Tofu Panang curry (both the soft and the fried tofu are good!) with broccoli. The curry very flavorful and not greasy or too thick. The consistency is just right. Along with the Panang veggie curry, the drunken noodles with tofu is tasty. The noodles are a bit spicy and the tofu helps to absorb it, while the curry is a bit more mild. In terms of spiciness, the food is prepared light/medium spicy. If you are really looking for a kick, ask for 2 peppers otherwise ask for mild, which is what I usually do! The service is great. One time, the restaurant mistakenly made an extra order of Penang Curry for my carry-out order and didn't charge me for the extra order, but just let me keep it and don't like to waste food - which I wholeheartedly agree with! Neisha Thai is my go-to Thai spot and love coming back!

Vish G.

Yelp
If you're in Tyson's corner, Neisha is a wonderful option for Thai! Ambiance wise it's so beautiful and calming. I love the decorations they have for the winter season too. Menu has a large variety which we love for when going with a larger group and have various dietary restrictions to consider. We got the shrimp bikini, which reminded me of the shrimp version of a vegetable roll. The green curry pasta and oriental fish filet for the main course were wonderful. The oriental fish filet was definitely a great Asian twist on fish and chips - just the best way for me to describe what to expect out of it. We loved it with the chili and garlic sauce. We really wanted to try their dessert since they had some unique options, but we were too stuffed! Also, service was great too, waiters were very kind, helpful, and food came out pretty quick! Check out my full review on Neisha here: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPRvx7jt9/

Yelp
Came here for dinner and enjoyed the food. I had the pad Thai which is a must have. Definitely would come back here.

Sierra S.

Yelp
I recently visited Neisha Thai for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience. One of the things I loved about the restaurant was that parking was not an issue. The dining room was spacious, and there was no overcrowding, even on a busy Saturday afternoon. I ordered the KaPow fried rice, while my friend ordered another dish (unfortunately, I cannot remember the name). The food was delicious, the portions were excellent and the service was great. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!

Rai R.

Yelp
This is always our go to location for good Thai food. Meeting with friends but clearly an off night for staff. Server inattentive so we had to keep calling over the hostess for service. Food was decent but the crispy whole flounder that we normally get was overcooked and not worth the $59 charged. Very disappointing. No attempt at giving us a selection for dessert except to say mangoes not in season. Before we have has the sticky rice with ice cream. Halloween decorations nice..maybe they scared away good service and food we ware used to having.

Sydney G.

Yelp
Came here for dinner after working an event around the corner. I love Thai food, and this definitely didn't disappoint! The service was quick and friendly, even though we came in just over an hour before closing (I know, I hate to be *that guy* but we were starving, okay!). We ordered the rolling duck, curry puffs, chive dumplings, mussuman curry with chicken, and pad see eaw with chicken, as well as a diet coke. The rolling duck was probably my favorite appetizer. Very similar to peking duck but with a Thai flair. The curry puffs are always a winner, and the chive dumplings were just ok. I loved the curry and the pad see eaw. The portions are huge and I had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day!

Dayana V.

Yelp
I really wanted Thai food and Neisha was the closest to my hotel. The reviews were pretty good so I figured I'd give them a try. The curry puff were delicious, so was the chicken mussuman. I just wish it were a little less soupy and more of a curry.

David O.

Yelp
Lychee and classic martini, fried chive dumplings, pataya noodles & Poo Goong Obb Woon Sen. all were very good, although I had requested "true Thai" spice level and food was NOT very. Extra pepper blend and sauces were provided, but not the same as being cooked into dish. Also, no chopsticks available. Very nice, upscale decor, pleasant staff in a higher-end area. Overall impression is a little too "Americanized"

Brittany C.

Yelp
Drink: Basil Mojito Food: Panang Curry (+broccoli) & Pad Thai (to go) All really great! I'd be interested to see what a basil mojito tastes like with Thai basil but either way it was light and refreshing and really good. A little shocked at the portion sizes but was way more than I was expecting. Nice large portions and had enough to take home for a snack later. Appreciated the fact food came out piping hot (and quick...15 mins tops) and was authentic cuisine. It was pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon so I can imagine how busy on a day with better weather.

Charlene E.

Yelp
As a Thai food lover, I really really wanted to love this place with its seeming good reviews. The ambience was dim and quiet which I appreciated. I ordered the salmon in banana leaves and asked them to spice it up but there was really no spice added. The food tasted very fresh though. I would come back if I'm in the area and try something else.

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
We ordered the vegetable soup, chicken satay, panang tofu, chicken pad thai, and mango sticky rice. The portions were huge, the wait was long. It was packed on a Saturday night. We estimated there was probably around 70-80 other people there so we waited 30-40 minutes for any food to come, even the appetizers and soup. We also got roti on the side, which was OK but good to dip in the penang curry from the tofu. Overall, it was good thai food, tasted like most other Thai restaurants. In my opinion, the pad thai was underwhelming but the people at my table liked it. My favorites were the mango sticky rice, which had crunchy orange bits on top, and the chicken satay, which had a delicious peanut satay sauce. The tofu flavor was really mild in the penang tofu dish but the sauce was good. Very filling dishes overall! But nothing spectacular. Come here if you want to fulfill a Thai craving. There were also delicious drinks on the menu.

Jessica L.

Yelp
The Restaurant is beautiful inside and our service was perfect! Getting into the location is a bit of a pain but it's worth it in the end. I ordered the Tom Yum soup which did not disappoint! I also had the small spring roll plate that was ok. My friend order the Kaprow and she said it was really good with just the right amount of spice. Would definitely come here again.

Annie X.

Yelp
Great service and is never too crowded. The food is a hit or miss. The pineapple fried rice was very moist and flavorful last time. Still very good but the pineapple this time was not ripe and the rice was not very moist either. We also had the green curry with pork and spring rolls. The pork was slightly rough. Beef tasted better. Meat costs $1 extra for the curry dish. The spring roll was pretty flavorful. No complaints there. The wild mango cocktail was kinda weird. It did not taste ANYTHING like mango. Probably won't get it again. Pro Tip: bring cash! They offer 8% off when you pay with cash.

Alea V.

Yelp
I tried the pineapple fried rice and chive dumplings. Both tasted really good. The chive dumplings are true to their name, they only have chive inside. The pineapple fried rice was really good and a great shareable item

Hailey L.

Yelp
I re-visited here in 17 years! It was as great as my first time. Last time I visited 17 years ago, the pineapple fried rice was a bit bland, so I took some time off. I ordered pineapple fried rice and passion beef, which were both "critic's choice" on the menu. Beefs were tender, and fried rice was savory! I also ordered mocktails and really loved Pina Colada. Our server was really nice and very kind in explaining menu and giving us time to think about the menu. She also came here and there to check if everything is good but not too disruptive that we were able to hold conversations pretty well. I also really loved the seatings. It is evenly spaced and indoor looks pretty authentic.

Candace F.

Yelp
I went here for the first time this weekend and had a wonderful time! It really was the perfect Thai restaurant! The ambience, the friendly and attentive staff, and the absolutely delicious food! They made my most beloved dish, Pad Thai with shrimp, perfectly! I loved my zombie drink, especially the spooky glass mug it came in!! A really fun touch! It also tasted great, which is something I'm very grateful for these days! It seems like a lot of bartenders aren't getting my drinks right anymore. Since we were there for a birthday celebration, we got dessert - something I don't normally do at a Thai restaurant. But I loved it! It was coconut ice cream with fried bananas. I would definitely get it again!! We had a great time, and I would definitely high recommend this restaurant!

Rachel P.

Yelp
The crispy whole flounder is always the go to when I bring my friends. Pricy but so good.

Cherie O.

Yelp
Fast service on a Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. so past the usual dinner time rush especially since the stores at the mall closed at 5 p.m. We started with cocktails, Lychee martini for me minus the cranberry juice and a regular martini for Hubs specifically Gin and DRY vermouth with two olives. Then I had the Poo Goong Obb Woon Sen while Hubs had the Pataya noodles, fried chive dumplings (four of them). Defo filling. Defo tasty but the drinks were expensive and the dumplings were greasy. The entrees were the winners, however nothing special about them as they didn't need to be presented in the clay pot, right? The pot wasn't even hot. So basically I was paying for the presentation which was just a thorn in my side. The ambiance was really nice with a waterfall feature but it was a bit dark. Perhaps on a busy night people prefer it this way, but I found it difficult to see.

Ankush K.

Yelp
I enjoyed my visit to Neisha Thai in Tyson, VA. The restaurant exuded a warm and inviting ambiance, setting the perfect mood for a delightful meal. The dishes were solid with Thai flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience enjoyable. The only aspect that held me back from a perfect rating was the pricing, which seemed a tad higher than anticipated. Nonetheless, Neisha Thai remains a great choice for those who love Thai cuisine in the area. 4/5 stars.

Allyson D.

Yelp
Went here because my mom loved this place growing up! I was skeptical to come in however because I had seen previous reviews from years ago about issues with pests. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you walk towards the back of the restaurant near the bathrooms, you'll find a bunch of sticky mouse traps all around the restaurant. It makes me think that their issues with pests from years ago hasn't been resolved. The tables and menus were sticky. I will say service was alright and food was also just okay, but I couldn't get myself to eat anything after what I just saw. I won't be coming back as there are so many other Thai restaurants in the area.

Beth D.

Yelp
Nice resturant with plenty of seating. Great Thai street food options that are fairly priced. Would recommend if in the Tyson's corner area.

Andrew C.

Yelp
Great food fast service. Can't wait to go back to being my clients and show them what a great establishment this is

Terence N.

Yelp
The food was amazing on top of the service!! The sweet and sour fish is a must order its one of the best in the menu. Service was top tier, our food was ready in 10 minutes after ordering and our waiter was very attentive. The place has a very pretty ambience and welcoming when you first come in. Neisha is one of the best Thai restaurants in Northern Virginia.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Excellent service as always. Very tasty and yummy food! The pad-see-ew is a good dish

Aida K.

Yelp
Great food, beautiful ambience, and very nice service. Neisha thai is definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in the DMV.

Lily H.

Yelp
We haven't been to Neisha in many years. The interior and decor all still look the same and somehow doesn't look worn in any way. We went for dinner and it was very dark and cold in the restaurant. Not sure if the darkness was just to save on electricity or to be romantic, but the banging lady gaga music certainly didn't set the right mood. Food was just ok, nothing was amazing nothing was inedible. I wouldn't get the duck noodle soup again. The duck tasted dry and not fresh, and there wasn't enough soup in the bowl.

Art P.

Yelp
With many restaurants raising prices while simultaneously reducing portion sizes in this tough economy, it was refreshing to see that Neisha has not taken that approach. Quality and service was still on par with before pandemic times. The atmosphere and decor is unrivaled among local Thai places. It is also refreshing to see a restaurant offering discounts for paying with cash! On this visit I got Massuman Chicken Curry, with Curry Puff and Chicken Sate. My friend got Fried Tofu and a Papaya Salad. All good, sizable, with enough for leftovers. Neisha is a long-time staple of Tysons, and now that Basura has closed around the corner, it's even more critical to support this local business! I will continue to return to this wonderful Thai establishment...and wish them continued success.

Erin C.

Yelp
Good basic Thai restaurant. Nothing special but the green curry was good and I would like to try other things on the menu

Katherine Y.

Yelp
My boys want Thai food after all the touring. Neisha popped up as the first choice from Yelp and so we went ahead and give it a try. I was thankful for the free parking which already gave it a star. We walked in thru the door with dramatic water feature into a bursting busy restaurant. The servers were quick and friendly to us. Since we have kids they asked if we would like to be seated in a smaller booth for shorter wait. Of coulee are fine with that! We then ordered the satay, clay pot shrimp, pineapple fried rice and pad see ew. Aside from the satay, the dishes were so flavorful! I love the clay pot shrimp with glass noodles. We enjoyed our yummy dinner. Tips: if you check in with Yelp, you get free Thai tea.

Elsie C.

Yelp
Great food, fast service! Waiter was fast and attentive. Would definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends and family!

Shawna M.

Yelp
This Thai spot is located in a busy part of Tyson's, but has ample parking below (huge plus). We went off the recommendations of fellow yelpers and got the duck roll (can't recall the exact name). Although I am not a fan of duck, this was yummy! The Hoisin sauce did it for me. I also ordered the panang curry which was heavy handed on the peanuts, but good nonetheless. Lastly my husband got the flank steak and it was chef kiss great. Service was ok but not out of this world. It was a good experience.

Balraj B.

Yelp
First time here with a group, celebrating an anniversary and I certainly aim to return. Got an opportunity to taste a large number of dishes. Generally well presented, tasty and generous portions. Lovely ambiance with earthy tones and Thai decor on the walls. Interesting waterfall. Lighting was muted and comfortable. Service was great. Our server Dew was excellent. Very efficient and patient with our array of individual requests. She deserves a

Adam F.

Yelp
We ordered food, soup ended up having hair. When we got up to leave the owner gave us dirty looks instead of apologizing. Would not recommend

Suriya E.

Yelp
Just got back from Greece after getting back from the airport this the only thai place that was still open until 10 on a sunday in the are. I was craving flavor and spice since Greece was beautiful but they food don't pack much favor. I went in and was greeted and seat quickly, the server was so nice and didn't rush me to eat at all he just ask that I order before 9:30 pm . I don't remember his name but he korean but he seem more friendly than the other thai staff working there. I just order the Flank Steak Soup ($19.95) which is enough for 2 peoples but I was hungry and it come with rice. The soup was nicely sweet salty with a tab of sour and spicy. I was hoping it would had more spice or herb added to complex the broth since i am thai but i can see why they would minimize the spice since the area is more Americanize and alot of indias. It was good amount of protein and chewy on certain part because is Flank steak but I like it , us thai like texture. I would give it 4.8/5. I am craving it again as I am typing this. Also he give Thai tea for checking in and it was nice, not overly sweet. I would definitely come back and try other dish. The price is a tad higher but it make sense in that area .

Danny K.

Yelp
Came by Neisha on a Tuesday evening, and the food is phenomenal here! I ordered the Shrimp Rapunzel, Esaan Sausage, Esaan Classic Tray, Seafood Shot, Ultimate Tom Yum Koong, Tom Leng Soup, Street Panang Beef, and the Salmon Roll. The good: Everything was delicious and tasted very authentic to traditional Thai food that can be found in their homeland. My favorite dishes were the Shrimp Rapunzel, Ultimate Tom Yum Koong, Street Panang Beef, and the Tom Leng Soup! All of the dishes were flavorful, and nothing was disappointing at all. The dishes that were meant to be spicy, held true to its original spice level that I enjoyed. The bad: Nothing was bad at all! Overall, would definitely come back to dine here! Everything tasted amazing, and cooked to perfection!

Carroll N.

Yelp
3.20.22 The restaurant is conveniently located adjacent to the parking garage, which has a few reserved spaces for the restaurant. The decor is very pretty and it has a very zen ambiance especially with the water stream and pond in the lobby. I enjoyed the noodle and beef of the Pad See Eaw as it was tender, which I prefer over al dente. I also liked that the beef was sliced thinly. The flavor was good. It tasted just as good the next day as leftovers. The Pad Thai with chicken was also very good. The spring roll was average and a bit bland to me. I enjoyed my Thai ice tea, which was sweet. If you check in on Yelp, it's free. I enjoyed this and the pad see eaw the most. Our server was nice as we asked her to take several photo of us and a few retakes when we weren't happy with the way we looked. I do think she could have come around to check on us, which she never did once she brought our food out to us.

Marlowe M.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Nice inside and good ambiance. Would recommend for good Thai in Tysons area

Sneha P.

Yelp
Great food, huge portions (also we may have over ordered but that's how we roll !! Made 2 meals out of it) We got the Tom ka soup, curry puffs, herb chicken wings, ne Isha tempura and the chicken ka pow!! The soup and tempura was my fav ! Everything else was pretty good but I wasn't blown away.. P.S. One of the server lady kept swinging by, trying to take the hot sauce away (we wanted it, we like our food spicyyyy)

Angela P.

Yelp
This is my first time trying thai cuisine in the east coast and I'm impressed. Pros: Overall the ambiance & food is authentic. Menu has variety, dishes are flavorful, and reasonable portions. My favorite was the Pad Sew Ew w/beef. You can choose spice level from 1 to 4. I picked 2, after mild. It had a good balance of vegetables, noodles and meat. Noodles are big and chewy. The chive dumplings (w/ sauce) app was yummy too, but only thing is I wish it came with six instead of just four pieces. I was kinda jealous of my BF because he got the Neisha Pepper Steak and Wow... tender, juicy, and sauce is delicious! Everyone at my table was content with their orders. Cons: -The restaurant is a bit dim lit inside. -It is NOT suitable for kids. I went with a family and there is no kids menu for the 5yr old. They were out of chicken wings. -We asked for fried rice w/no veggies & they forgot, but thankfully they remade it quickly.

Linda T.

Yelp
We were a party of five on a Sunday nite. I hadn't been to the restaurant for about a year but I had always liked it so I recommended it to my party. Unfortunately 4 out of 5 of us were disappointed-- especially me! Two of us ordered the vegetarian pad thai. What we received was 99% noodles. Hardly any veggies to speak of, no discernible sauce. I didn't eat more than a bite; the other diner just had a few bites. The other 2 diners did not finish their meals either; our waitress was not concerned. I ordered a gin and tonic -- it's a bad nite when I don't like my drink. The spring roles were dry and unappealing. My husband finished my drink for me. He was happy with his ginger pork. I'm afraid we won't be returning-- it was a pretty expensive meal and I didn't eat anything!

Andrew N.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a Friday night and our party of 3 was able to get seated without much of a wait. We ordered the Yum Woon Sen as an appetizer and Green Curry and Pad Thai with Chicken as our entrees. The Yum Woon Sen arrived quickly and was delicious with a good amount of spice to boot. As far as the entrees go, the experience was much more underwhelming. The server misheard me and thought I had ordered Pad Thai with Shrimp so the incorrect dish was served. It happens, and they were able to quickly remedy the situation and bring out the correct dish but even with the correction the flavor was lacking and overall pretty bland. We had also ordered the Green Curry to be Extra Spicy but from the included picture all they really did was sprinkle more red pepper flakes on it. They offer an 8% discount if you pay with cash and there's a Bank of America ATM around the corner. I'd settled on a 3/5 for Neisha but the accommodating service was enough to bump this up to a 4 for me, though I don't see myself coming back to this place any time soon.

Wendy C.

Yelp
Delicious! Food was not as salty and oily as other places I've been. Kee mao kai wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. It felt like more level 1 spicy but they advertise it as a level 3. But they do offer a tray with 4 different sauces. Kua gai noodles chicken was a bit dry. Atmosphere is really nice and they also play Thai music. Great service. Highly recommend this place for Thai food.

Anthony N.

Yelp
3/5 Unfortunately, I had higher expectations for this place from reading the reviews. However, my personal experience wasn't that great. The quality of the food was average, and the service was okay as well. I got the Tom Yum Talay soup as an appetizer and the Shrimp Mussuman Curry as my main entree. The soup was pretty good, the flavor was what I was used too when ordering it at other Thai restaurants. However, the Curry wasn't what I expected. The Curry flavor was nice, but the potatoes and shrimp were bland. Also, the portion size for a dinner entree was quite smaller than I expected. The service was okay. My friend asked for the Chicken Pad Thai and a Shrimp Pad Thai was brought out. Easy mistake, but our waiter resolved the issue right away and got my friends entree expedited. Overall, I'd give this place a solid 3/5. The food and service was average, but not good enough for me to come back.

Margaret J.

Yelp
We liked the egg rolls but Barry just said that it takes a " special person to poison chicken pad Thai with dead fish" I took the first bite as he was serving himself and asked him if fish was in the chicken pad Thai? After his first bite he asked for a to-go container. We paid our bill and left and will not return. The pad Thai even smelled like dead fish.

Justin N.

Yelp
We were craving good Thai food and wanted to eat at home, so we ordered takeout from Neisha. Thai food is my favorite, and Neisha is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the area. They are my go-to when I don't feel like driving out to Fairfax or Vienna. The food is consistently good if not great. They also have the best cuts of beef out of any Thai restaurant that I've been to. For appetizers, I always order the Rolling Duck. Neisha undoubtedly has the best duck rolls in the area. The rolls are fresh and not oily or greasy like other nearby Thai options. The duck is perfectly crispy and the rolls taste great with their hoisin sauce. For entrees, I had the Panang Curry with Chicken, Kee Mao with Beef, and Kapow with Beef. Neisha has my favorite Panang Curry. The curry has a nice mix of spice, peanut flavor, and creamy coconut milk that complements each other well. I like that their curries are slightly thicker-- not too watery but not overly thick either. The depth of flavor in their curries is consistently good. One small thing: I would have liked to see more rice in my to-go order because their rice portions are half the size of what you would get in a standard Thai/ Chinese takeout order. Neisha's Kee Mao is good. It's not the best drunken noodles that I've ever had but it tastes standard and it's a solid option. The quality of their beef brings the dish over the top for me. Their beef is higher quality than most Asian restaurants. It's never chewy or over tenderized. Neisha's Kapow with Beef is above average. The flavors are standard, but again, the high quality of the Beef brings the beef version of this dish over the top. I appreciate that the Kapow has nice slices of beef instead of ground beef. The dish is another solid option. However, again I would have liked to see more rice in my to-go order. Overall, everything at Neisha is at least good. Notably, they also do not have my favorite pad Thai in the area but their take on the dish is standard and a decent option. The inside of the restaurant has a great ambiance and it's a good place for date night, or a nice meal with friends/ family. I recommend the duck rolls, beef dishes, and curries.
