Nemi is a chic Mexican spot in Port Richmond serving vibrant, modern dishes and killer margaritas, perfect for a sun-soaked sidewalk meal.
"Nemi is a small Mexican restaurant in Port Richmond that doesn’t shy away from their love of margaritas and ceviche. They have four on the menu, all have bold flavors, and drench seafood in a generous amount of sauce. Their salmon tiradito is one of our favorites. It’s bursting with sweetness from the passion fruit and mango puree, there are large, tender chunks of salmon, and the dish gets finished with serrano peppers, onions, and avocado. The combination is perfectly balanced (and won’t leave you internally panicking or externally sweating from the heat of the peppers). Grab a few for your group, then do the same with the piña margaritas. " - candis mclean
"You won’t find tastier (or stronger) margaritas in Port Richmond than at Nemi. They have a long list of them, too (there’s 10). And although you can choose from a mezcal and ginger-heavy marg, mango habanero, or roasted pineapple, they all have two things in common: fresh juices and a perfect blend. Whether you’re inside at a wood table staring at a few agave plants or on their sidewalk taking in the sun, there’s no better place in the neighborhood to eat tacos, a salmon ceviche, and order a margarita or three. "This modern Mexican spot is in the predominantly Russian and Polish neighborhood of Port Richmond where few Latin American restaurants have gone before. Nemi offers an elegant dining experience complete with unexpected dishes like duck confit for two and bright ceviche with a mango passionfruit puree. The bar complements the refined menu with a wide selection of margaritas and cocktails made with house syrups and fresh juices." - Ernest Owens
