The Best Crudo, Aguachile, & Ceviche In Philly - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Nemi is a small Mexican restaurant in Port Richmond that doesn’t shy away from their love of margaritas and ceviche. They have four on the menu, all have bold flavors, and drench seafood in a generous amount of sauce. Their salmon tiradito is one of our favorites. It’s bursting with sweetness from the passion fruit and mango puree, there are large, tender chunks of salmon, and the dish gets finished with serrano peppers, onions, and avocado. The combination is perfectly balanced (and won’t leave you internally panicking or externally sweating from the heat of the peppers). Grab a few for your group, then do the same with the piña margaritas." - candis mclean

The Best Mexican Restaurants in Philadelphia | Eater Philly

"This modern Mexican spot is in the predominantly Russian and Polish neighborhood of Port Richmond where few Latin American restaurants have gone before. Nemi offers an elegant dining experience complete with unexpected dishes like duck confit for two and bright ceviche with a mango passionfruit puree. The bar complements the refined menu with a wide selection of margaritas and cocktails made with house-made syrups and fresh juices." - Ernest Owens

The 18 Best Margaritas In Philadelphia

"You won’t find tastier (or stronger) margaritas in Port Richmond than at Nemi. They have a long list of them, too (there’s 10). And although you can choose from a mezcal and ginger-heavy marg, mango habanero, or roasted pineapple, they all have two things in common: fresh juices and a perfect blend. Whether you’re inside at a wood table staring at a few agave plants or on their sidewalk taking in the sun, there’s no better place in the neighborhood to eat tacos, a salmon ceviche, and order a margarita or three. " - candis mclean

Skids, our server, was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the start. The decor is beautifully authentic with vibrant touches, greenery, and a clean, inviting Mexican vibe. The shrimp tacos were outstanding with fresh lettuce, perfectly seasoned shrimp, and just the right amount of cheese. The mango margarita was refreshing, and finishing with tres leches, churros, and Café de la Abuela was the perfect ending. Nemi is a must visit for great food, great service, and a true taste of Mexico!!🇲🇽

Google
Nemi is an incredible mexican restaurant in Port Richmond! I came in on a Friday night and sat at the bar with no wait time. We started with a watermelon margarita and hibiscus margarita. Both were sweet, but not overly sweet. They were refreshing and delicious! For appetizers, we got the elote and guacamole. The elote had delicious coffee mayo and cotija cheese. I wish the corn was a little bit more roasted though. The guac was some of the best I’ve ever had. It was fresh, flavorful, and the chips were salted well. For entrees, we got the birria tacos and chihuahua tacos. My friend has had the birria many times and loves them. The chihuahua tacos were great, and steak was cooked well and not overly chewy. Food came out quickly and the staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is laidback but still elevated, cute date night spot. I will definitely be back!

This spot is a gem. When walking in its very elevated yet comfortable place. The food and drinks were flavorful and executed well. I'll definitely be back here again.

I was once a great bartender. This guy smokes me. The food is awesome and the drinks are stiff like John Holmes. Service is stellar and we can walk to it from our house what more could you want?

The best Mexican street corn I ever had. It was very delicious. The NY strip steak tacos were seasoned so so good. I can’t wait to go back and try the empanadas that are only offered during happy hour.

I went here for dinner and drinks with friends. The margaritas were INSANEEEE!!! So good!!! I ordered the chicken fajitas and they were just ok. I asked for hot sauce because they were bland and I was brought a green salsa with little to no spice. It was kind of odd to me. I don't think I would come back for food but definitely for the drinks!!

Google
This is my favorite place in the neighborhood, maybe even the whole city. The food is so good, I crave it daily. The salmon is my favorite dish, but you can't go wrong with any of the tacos. Mango margarita is also incredible! The service is always amazing, everyone is so nice. Highly suggest this place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks, etc..

Yelp
Not sure how I missed this place before, but after looking for a new authentic Mexican place nearby, I found Nemi. I'm sooo glad I did. We had a 4:00 pm reservation on a summer Saturday. We walked in and we were offered indoor seating or outdoor seating. We went with outdoor bc the 4/5 tables were completely covered. Our waiter arrived quickly and was upbeat and full of good vibes. We placed our drink order (margarita for me and an old fashioned for the mister) and we placed an order for apps. I tried the guacamole with bacon (extra $4.99) and he went with the elotes. Our drinks and apps arrived. The drinks were tasty. The apps were absolutely delicious. The elotes was swimming in cojita cheese just the way we like it. I couldn't get enough of the elotes. The guacamole with bacon was divine. It had the perfect amount of garlic, guacamole, bacon, and chips. We really loved both apps. We placed an order for our entrees. I went with the CDMX (pork belly tacos) and he had the salmon. Our entrees arrived maybe 20 mins after the apps, which wasn't bad. The pork belly tacos were bursting with flavor. There was a mango salsa that accompanied the pork belly. The tacos were small enough to fit in my hand, so they were easy to devour. The only recommendation I would add is to trim a little of the fat from the pork belly. Biting into the taco with the fat made the taco extra greasy, but still delicious. I tried my partner's salmon and when I say the flavors were poppin, they were CRAZY!!!!! The salmon was perfectly seared. The salmon was also seasoned and on top of grilled zucchini and a special sauce. It was insanely delicious. He felt the same way. We were too full from our apps and entrees to try desserts, but we know they were probably just as good as the apps and entrees. There shouldn't be any question as to whether we plan to stop by Nemi again. We are already planning our next visit.

Yelp
What a gem! This restaurant is hidden in a neighborhood so parking is a little tough. But trust me it's worth it. We arrived on a Saturday evening at about 6 o'clock, it was very busy, but there were plenty of bar seats available so we sat at the bar. The ambience was nice, huge wall of tequila behind the bar and it just feels a tad bit more upscale than your average Mexican restaurant. First off the margaritas were absolutely amazing. The first one I had was the mango habanero. I love a good spice and this was a perfect combination of spicy and sweet. Only get this if you truly like spice. The second one was the bruja fresa, a beautiful refreshing strawberry flavor. The fiancé really approved of this one. I ordered the steak fajitas, a classic and my partner ordered the New York strip. My steak fajitas were extremely flavorful with peppers and onions, and it came with plenty of corn tortillas. The new York strip was nice, but to be honest, we were obsessed with the red potatoes that it came with! Crispy and seasoned so well! We also ordered guacamole and chips because how could I not order that at a Mexican restaurant?! Chips are definitely made in house and perfect amount of salt. This was a fantastic meal to end our Saturday night and we cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Nemi is a wonderful restaurant in port Richmond. Offering a great relaxed vibe this is a great place to go for happy hour. Great food and drink specials. I got one of their margaritas and it was delicious. I also got their mahi mahi tacos and churros. The food was delicious and the tacos had a great sauce on them. Service was great as well this will be a spot I will be going back to.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant in Port Richmond. Came here with a friend and we both had margaritas and tacos and they were absolutely great. The passionfruit and hibiscus margaritas tasted great and they had plenty of other margaritas and Mexican drinks to pick from that I'm sure are to die for. We both also got the tacos, which were both light but packed with plenty of flavor. Loved the light spice in the tacos, pickled onions, and I loved the Mahi Mahi. Service was great and loved the ambiance on the inside. It was dark and it felt like a perfect place to sit at the bar and enjoy a happy hour with someone. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
I had lunch with 2 friends here midweek. Apart from a couple who were finishing their lunch we were the only customers. The restaurant is bright, spacious and appealing. Our waiter was brisk, efficient and attentive. We shared a guacamole which was fairly uninteresting with tasteless bits of bacon on top. We then had 3 trios of tacos-2 of which were pork. One was a pork belly taco but it tasted much the same as the other one, the pork was chewy and under seasoned. Whilst I was a guest and not paying the bill, the prices seemed rather high for the quality of the food. I wasn't impressed.

Yelp
I ordered takeout but I think the food I ordered doesn't travel well. The salmon ceviche was so salty and no balance . The acid and salt made it inedible . I also had the half a chicken which was very dry. The black beans weren't seasoned enough. The food was all over the place as seasoning goes. I had a salad with grilled chicken and that chicken was like chicken jerky . The salad itself was fresh and delicious.

Yelp
I've been here twice and look forward to many more visits. Great beer, tequila, & cocktail selection. Best chips & salsa I've ever had. Nice amount of variety on the menu. Food is fresh and delicious--and also strikes me as healthy (i.e., NOT drenched in cheese, oil, salt, etc.).
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food and cocktails. I gave it four stars as it's expensive to be considered a neighborhood restaurant. Varied menu though and well-prepared food. Bartenders are great and very helpful.

Yelp
This place is a gem! Located in the Port Richmond/Fishtown area! They have the best steak tacos! You will not be disappointed! I love their Pomegranate Guacamole, very tasty. I've also tried their Eggs Benedict & it was really good. They have a variety of margaritas and cocktails to choose from, my favorite margarita is FRIDA LA CLÁSICA, it has Silver tequila, fresh lime juice, raw sugar syrup! The service is always pleasant. The restaurant is stunning. I really love the bar area and they also have outside seating for the nice weather. There's self parking but after 5PM or on the weekends I'd say it's harder to find parking due to all people that live in the neighborhood parking their vehicles.

Yelp
The food was so fresh and flavorful . We had the guacamole/ the ceviche Al pastor * for the main course the fried fish tacos and the Castillo taco ***** hands down best Mexican I have had in quite a while! The portions were all good sized and the presentation came to the table beautifully! It was so good we didn't get to take pictures . Xoxo The service was flawless . From start to finish we were taken care of like V.I.P 's the host was accommodating ; our server was so nice and answered all of our questions and gave great suggestions The ambiance was inviting and clean . Everything was set with care and the aroma was enticing. I will most definitely go again. Thank you Nemi

Yelp
A hidden treasure in the Port Richmond neighborhood! We were three vegetarians and one carnivore and the vegetarians were very happy. I loved the hibiscus margarita.!

Yelp
This is a great neighborhood place! Best part it's only a block from my house! Nemi is in a former corner bar. The update they did makes for a casual, cool vibe. It's a little noisy. Seating is inside and outside. We had a large party and we're able to make a reservation for Happy hour. The HH here is good! Classic or spicy margaritas for $8, Sangria $7.5, beer and wine too. Tacos are 3.50/4.50 each The happy hour menu has a good variety. We tried all four tacos and all were delicious. The queso fundido and enchiladas roja were also very good.the chocolate de ledge was yummy! The staff are amazing. Water glasses were refilled without asking, empty plates removed quickly, and food came out quick.

Yelp
The food and service are both great. We really enjoyed it here. Great drinks as well. Try the ceviche!

Carolyn M.

Yelp
Delicious! I got the short rib tacos and shrimp ceviche. The shrimp ceviche was a perfect dish. They said not a ton of people order it, maybe because of the olives? But it was perfectly balanced and the olives were so good with it. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
A truly authentic Mexican food experience in the heart of Port Richmond. Easily one of the great Mexican spots in the Philadelphia area. At least some of the culinary team that opened the restaurant is originally from Mexico City and now resides in Port Richmond. With two floors of seating plus sidewalk seating during warmer months, there's hardly ever a wait. The ambiance is such that you can feel just as comfortable stopping by for lunch or happy hour, as you would for a date night or Sunday brunch. The music is lively and the atmosphere is pleasant. Can't recommend Nemi enough!
google avatar

Yelp
I have never had a meal or visit here that wasn't top notch! It's consistently great every single time! Service, food and atmosphere! Always wonderful!!

Yelp
Traditional Mexican dishes, with a flair! Nemi was a quick find after missing my brunch reservation at a different restaurant due to traffic. We waited 5-7 minutes for wait staff to come to our table. In their favor, it was Sunday brunch and we didn't have a reservation. The food was solid! Between my table we ordered, Huevos rancheros, guac and chips, birria tacos (off menu/daily special) and churros. The churros were my favorite part, as they were flaky, airy and made fresh to order. The cocktails were flavorful but the liquor portion felt light. The price to cup size ratio was a miss for me. Would come back for dinner service!
google avatar

Tamika B.

Yelp
Ordered Nemi on DoorDash and I must say that the food was definitely satisfying! I tried their flavorful elote. Mmm! Mexican street corn is one of my favorites. I also ordered their Baja Baja shrimp tacos. I enjoyed the batter the shrimp was fried in. Also, dipped my tacos in the sauce -- so good! The Mexican food was authentic with a modern twist! I am highly impressed with Nemi and will definitely eat here again.

Yelp
This review is based specifically on the food as I did not have a dine in experience...yet. The food was everything I expected! I've heard a bit of buzz about this place and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. For my takeout I ordered elote, baja shrimp, and tres leches. Let's start with the elote, it came as 4 small pieces of a a whole corn on the cob and it was loaded with the mayo, cheese, and spices so it had all the flavor and I enjoyed each bite. The Baja tacos was a pleasant surprise as I didn't realize the shrimp was deep fried initially when I ordered it but it still tasted delicious. The spicy sauce on the side was the perfect match. Lastly the tres leches was also good because it had hidden pieces of mango between the layers. It could have had a bit more leches in it but I think the mangoes made up for that short coming. Since I had such a good food experience I look forward to dining in, in the future and I hope the experience is just as good l, if not better.

Sally O.

Yelp
Fantastic happy hour, and they make the best margaritas I've had in the city. Can slurp them down like juice...so be careful lol. All the food is very flavorful and delicious. The bartenders are friendly and the vibe is cozy and welcoming. A neighborhood staple!

Yelp
Fabulous food. Always great and consistent. Lovely ambiance. Corn on the cob with grated cheese and coffee mayo sauce is outstanding. 12 oz steak was great with an orange dollop of sauce. Pulled chicken tortilla soup is very tasty. Churros and chocolate coffee is the bomb. Great service from Heela as always. Worthy of a 30% tip! A must go to. Always ample parking. Highly recommend
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite Sunday brunch spot. Never a bad meal. Always great service. Highly recommend the carnitas tacos and salsa trio app
google avatar

Marcella G.

Yelp
Solid Mexican restaurant! Went for a birthday dinner with 8 other girls and everyone had good things to say about their meals. The margaritas were perfect on this hot day, I would get the strawberry, wasn't just the sweet artificial flavoring but real juice. The ceviche and tacos seemed to be the biggest hits. If you are a pork fan the pork belly was a bigger hit than the carnitas. The guac was fresh but did have jalapeños on the top so if you have a spice aversion I would make sure you say no peppers. I got the quest fundido and it was my personal favorite part of the meal! (Who doesn't like melted cheese :) )
google avatar

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Was in the mood for Mexican food tonight and stumbled upon this place close to my place. I ordered the CDMX and was feeling fat so I ordered the Enchiladas Rojas as well. Note: I had this via carry out. The CDMX was quite delicious. The flavors were there and the sauce added an extra touch to the overall flavor. The only issue I had with it was that pork belly. I felt like it was 80/20 (80 percent fat, 20 meat). I prefer a bit more 50/50 balance. Esp for the price. Besides that I would definitely get this again. The Enchiladas Rojas was overall pretty good. The red sauce was perfect to keep the enchiladas nice and moist. I love the onions on top that gave it a crunch. Chicken was well cooked and not dry. Overall I'd get here again. Def eyeing the mahi mahi tacos next time.
google avatar

Sarat D.

Yelp
Fabulous experience dining here. Hostess and waitresses were very attentive and prepared me an excellent vegetarian meal. The enchilada was quite flavorful with plantains and beans inside simmered in a tangy flavorful sauce topped with sesame seeds. The cauliflower tacos were also quite tasty and crisp! Look forward to coming here again
google avatar

Chingi Z.

Yelp
You will wake up dreaming of these pork belly tacos from @nemirestaurant Quite possibly the single best bite of pork belly that I've ever had. Melt in your mouth, unctuousness. Cleanse your palate with their mango habanero margarita!! They are located at 2636 E Ann St, Philadelphia, open from 11-9 today and will be serving a special Valentine's menu alongside their regular menu. Call to make a reservation - 267-519-0713 Highly recommend slurping down the habanera salsa. It's sweet heat and burns so good. Use a housemade chip to dip it up like a normal person or just put that shiz on everything
google avatar

Yelp
Out of the way place is a gold mine! Hardwood bar and tables layout of FRESH Mexican-style fabulous lunch and brunch. Guac and homemade chips? Check! Veggie omelette with home potatoes? Check! Poached eggs with salmon on muffin with home potatoes? Check! And more. All good, all around!

Yelp
I absolutely love & highly recommend Nemi! Far beyond your expectations for local neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Try the different guacamole's and if you are a fan of crispy duck, Nemi's is flat out the most delicious I've tasted! Pair that up with a specialty margarita and you are all set!
google avatar

Brandon S.

Yelp
Made a reservation beforehand and got seated quickly. Had pretty great service and the margaritas were very good. For starters, we got the AGUA CHILE DE PESCADO and the Chips Salsa and Guacamole. The ceviche was probably one of the best that I've had in Philly, if not the best. For Entree, the Chicken Fajita was HUGE. Altogether very tasty and came out sizzling. Definitely enough food for two, but I was able to take home for leftovers. Highly recommend checking this out!

Yelp
Nemi is an absolute neighborhood treasure, and beyond that, honestly worth the trip if you don't live in the neighborhood too. We take our parents here when they come into town, and friends who are visiting from the suburbs, etc. The service is always top notch, and the menu is expertly dialed in. Food is consistently stellar. Here are some of our favorites: Baja Baja tacos, ceviche, pork belly tacos, the birria tacos on sunday, the margarita and the mezcalita, my favorite michelada, the Paloma is one of the best in the city, and the happy hour specials are amazing- they aren't on the regular menu so you have to try to catch happy hour sometime to try the empanadas and tostadas. Not to mention drink special pricing! We've been patronizing Nemi since they first opened, before the pandemic, and they have only gotten better and better. I'm so glad they are still here.

Yelp
Ever realize you needed something so badly, only after you've had it? That is Nemi to the neighborhood of Port Richmond. Really classy, traditional Mexican restaurant in the heart of this neighborhood, deserving up elote, tacos, duck confit, and more. Drink selections are well above par, and they make some DELICIOUS margs. Pricing is really fair - and the portions are great. You can't get Mexican food like this anywhere else around the town, and I would venture to say the challenge Mexican restaurants in center city. The playing is beautiful, and the flavors of each dish are truly hard to forget. Decor inside is modern/classic. It's a breath of fresh air into the neighborhood, and I believe stands for hope as what's to come in the future restaurant scene. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Shout out to Alex, running the place. This is a spot where you can come with your friends to catch up or bring your significant other on a nice date.

Angelica G.

Yelp
Just go, the BEST! Everything on the menu from drinks to appetizers! Bartender was GREAT and super nice!

Yelp
My friend recommended Nemi! The food was delicious! We started with cocktails and appetizers. I highly recommend the passion fruit margarita and the salmon ceviche. For dinner my friend and I shared tacos. The CDMX and Baja fish tacos were very yummy! I would definitely go back here again!

Yelp
Best Mexican Restaurant in the Fishtown/Port Richmond area period. Great service, excellent food and cocktails. This place is a gem!

Yelp
Barria tacos were amazing. It was a nice day so we sat outside and it was a really nice vibe. We lucked up on a parking space just across the street. The service was attentive and fast. When we are back in Philly we will definitely stop by Nemi.

Yelp
What a great little place in the Port Richmond area. My friends suggested Nemi for a lunch meet up. I am always up for Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. We shared chips and pico de gallo and our waitress was right, the pico was a great refreshing choice over salsa since it was so hot out. We also enjoyed our Pineapple Jarritos, and my friend enjoyed her passion fruit margarita! We all decided to pick a different taco so we could have a sampling since you do have to have three of the same when ordered. All three of us enjoyed the chicken taco, short ribs taco and the carnitas one. All were fresh, hot and tasty. Our waitress was awesome - very friendly, helpful and attentive. We also shared fried plantains which we enjoyed but wished they had some honey or something else sweet to dip them in. Our waitress was nice enough to let us try the sweet cream as an option. Over all, the food and service was great. The main thing they have to try and fix is the air conditioning - it was uncomfortably warm in there. Hopefully, it is fixable and not always like that. Great location with plenty of street parking that day.

Amy S.

Yelp
Nemi is my new favorite restaurant! Everything is so fresh and delicious! The staff are all so nice and welcoming too. I almost don't want to tell too many people and keep this gem all to myself. The Happy Hour specials are great and affordable too!

Yelp
My friends and I loved this place!!! The food was delicious and the staff was beyond friendly! Came here on a Sunday night craving elote and got not only fresh elote, but also a few other amazing dishes. The dishes were sharable yet affordable. My friends and I will definitely be returning to this cute place. We really loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and the authentic Mexican music they played. They offer indoor and outdoor dining and the desserts they offered were also incredible.

Yelp
I had really high expectations for this place and they were almost met. This place was pretty easy to get a last minute reservation at and it's a nice walk from my house. The food was bomb but the drinks slightly missed their mark. Maybe it was an off day for the bartender but the drinks were sweettttttt. I mean on the menu it does say that they add raw sugar syrup in most of the cocktails and maybe this night they just had a heavy hand when it came to pouring the sugar because I had heard good things about their drinks. But we tried a couple margaritas and one of the gin drinks they make and they were all insanely sweet for my taste. We actually ended up ordering separate shots to mix in. However the food was on point and will definitely have me coming back. To start we ordered the guac and elote. Both were really good. The guac was kinda basic but the avocado was super fresh. I loved the elote street corn. Great flavor. It was creamy and delicious. My only con was we requested for it to be cut off the cob as we were going to share it and were informed that they couldn't do this. Elote is common order for me at Mexican restaurants and I always order it off the cob. For sharing reasons and it's just easier to eat in a nice restaurant and it can easily be done. The kitchen just didn't want to cut it off the cob. Instead they cut it in 4 pieces. I mean whatever we wanted to try it so we just rolled with it at that point. I feel like that's just unnecessary bad customer service to deny a request that can easily be accommodated. For my main I got the Baja Baja mahi mahi tacos which were absolutely delicious. There was so much fish on these little tacos and it was perfectly crispy and slightly spicy. My friend got the carnitas tacos and thought they were really good also but upon trying mine agreed the fish was better. Highly recommend! For dessert we shared a tres leches and it was like our meal just kept getting better. This cake was so moist and flavorful. The fruit was fresh and it was a prefect end to our meal. So be sure to safe some room to try it out.

Yelp
Great little Mexican spot with top notch decor, service, and cocktails. Feels like a neighborhood spot but with a little something extra. Great execution on enchiladas - no dry stringy meat here. Habanero mango margarita was great and not cloying at all. Great staff and handling covid like pros too.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here multiple time and the food just keeps getting better! If you haven't tried this place yet, definitely give it a shot

Yelp
So I decided to try this new Mexican spot in Port Richmond and I loved it. They have happy hour from 4-6 pm and reservations weren't needed. I ordered 3 chicken tacos for $3 each and a couple of margaritas that were $6 or $7. Their customer service was very good and they offer outside and indoor dining. I will have to come back to try their other tacos and drink choices as well as their brunch for a Saturday and Sunday that they have.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! Dined outdoor during Covid and I must say it was an awesome experience. After each party, they wipe down every table and chair. It looked and felt very clean and safe. The restaurant is located in a quiet and calm neighborhood - lots of street parking avaliable. The service and staff was great -- friendly and very accommodating. The food was amazing! Every dish we ordered we enjoyed very much. My favorite was the Queso Fundido with chorizo (must order!) and the duck confit. Cocktails were delicious (my favorite was the piña), it's a very refreshing margarita. And lastly the churros is a must have if you like them -- super fluffy with chocolate dipping sauce. Highly recommend for a date night or with friends. Definitely will be back again!

Yelp
We Had Three margaritas, the Serrano spiced, Mango Habanero, and Strawberry. All of them delicious, But the mango Habanero with the spicy salt rim on the glass is ridiculously good. Our bartender was especially friendly and patient. We ate the trio of chips and salsa, the Braised short rib tacos, and the churros. I can't say enough good things about the food. Although I kept saying "oh my god Maria this is so good we have to come back tomorrow" (Maria is my wife, and I said this 18 times throughout the meal). We may not have gone back the next day, but I wanted to make sure I wrote this review to share with everyone that we are going back tonight (2 days later). The atmosphere is warm and cozy and they deserve every good review that will come their way.

Yelp
This place is nice inside. The ambience is lovely as well as the service. Unfortunately, My best friend and I dined here on Thursday night(apps and happy hour margs) and both got violently ill a few hours after. Started experiencing sharp stomach pains around the same time and the next day we were a mess with diarrhea and vomiting. I would have had to call off from work if it wasn't my day off type of illness. We shared the carnitas tacos, queso fundido with mushrooms, and mushroom empanada.

Yelp
You want to talk about a Center City feel in a small Philly neighborhood, that's Nemi! Wonderful ambiance with great food and wonderful service. They also have outdoor seating for those great nights.

Yelp
Friendly neighborhood Port Richmond Mexican bistro with a nice ambiance--wood floors, wooden bar, soft lighting. Our servers were helpful and attentive, and the food was delish. I had the Baja Baja tacos with shrimp, which were fresh and yummy. Would definitely go again.

Yelp
Amazing service and top-notch food. I really enjoyed their chocolate coffee, and the beef in my my cazuela was braised to perfection. The guacamole was amazing too. The spot is on a corner, and it wasn't hard to find street parking nearby. Id definitely go back.
