"Have you ever been to Masa? Neither have we. None of us here at The Infatuation are currently in a position to drop a minimum of $450 a head for dinner before booze, tax, and tip. And the CEO of Goldman Sachs won’t return our phone calls, so it looks like our plan to have him buy us dinner there and discuss "investing in the website" is on hold. I guess we read all those Jim Cramer books for nothing. Luckily, Neta is run by two chefs who learned their stuff from Masa himself, so now you can get a Masa-lite experience with a slightly more manageable check at the end. It will only cost you an arm instead of an arm and both legs. Sorry, I’ll stop making jokes that my Dad would like. While Neta is certainly less expensive than Masa, it unfortunately isn’t your best option if you want to spend good money and get fantastic sushi. We've had much better meals at 15 East and Sushi of Gari, and were hoping this place was gonna bring it harder for the cash it cost us. For example, on my recent visit, my party sprang for the larger omakase – $135 per person, also known as “a sh*tload of money” – and we weren't exactly $135 worth of impressed. From what we could tell, it wasn't much different than the cheaper ($95) option. Our waitress told us that the more expensive omakase featured “three more savory courses and additional pieces of sushi.” We were expecting a larger variety of sushi. Instead, we got the same sushi they serve everyone, but got two pieces of each roll instead of one. Maybe we should have asked for clarification, but that wasn’t what we were hoping for when we handed over a suitcase full of bills. Ultimately, Neta would be a much better experience if you go and pick a few pieces of fish and the small plates that they do best. There are some incredible things to eat here, but there are also some duds on the menu. It's also probably a much better experience if you have endless money to spend. Then again, so is everything. Food Rundown Dungeness Crab Little pieces of crab with cucumber and a delicious vinaigrette. Good but gone too quickly, and kind of skimpy on the crab. Grilled Scallop This grilled scallop is served in the shell with beautiful little bits of uni. My favorite non-sushi, non-ice cream dish of the night. The scallop was perfectly cooked and the uni was delicious. Toro and Caviar Also known as “the breakfast of Russian billionaires.” One of the draws of the longer omakase is that it includes this dish, which costs $48 if you order it a la carte. It’s pretty good...but of course it is. It’s fcking toro and caviar. Uni Porridge A risotto-esque dish that uses Neta’s delicious sea urchin as the base. It's an excellent two bites if you like uni. Or one bite if you like uni and have a big mouth. Szechuan Spiced Salmon This is salmon with spicy mayo on a bed of crispy rice topped with bonito (dried fish) flakes. It’s basically a fancy-ass spicy salmon roll, and it’s nothing to write home about. Seriously, it’s not, I left it out of the weekly letter I write to my Mom. Tempura If you can’t eat vegetables unless they’re fried, you’ll enjoy the tempura here. Everything is perfectly crispy and as light as tempura can be. In addition to the veggies they feature Fugu, which is a poisonous pufferfish that can kill you if it’s not prepared correctly. This probably won’t kill you, unless you choke on the bone that no one warns you about. I almost did. Nigiri The nigiri they served us were very good. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the fish was great. I just wish there was more of it in the big boy omakase. They didn’t even serve us a piece of uni. Toro Scallion Roll The toro in this roll was way too cold. I know that fatty tuna is supposed to melt in your mouth, but it’s supposed to melt because it’s fatty and delicious, not because it’s frozen solid. This was so cold that it didn’t taste like anything. Unagi Roll The seaweed that Neta wraps its rolls in is deliciously crunchy, but I wish it had been served as nigiri. I didn’t raid my future kid’s community college fund to eat budget looking sushi rolls featuring avocado. I was just waiting for something to show up with cream cheese in it. Peanut Butter Ice Cream Possibly the best ice cream I’ve ever eaten. I’m not sure what they do to make it so good, but it’s incredible. I’d come back just for this." - Sweatshorts

Google
NETA dispensary in Northampton is my go-to spot and one of my top five dispensaries. From the moment you step in, the service is exceptional. The front door greeter/check-in process is seamless, and the budtenders are knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to assist with purchases. One budtender “MANNY” in particular, always greets me as “BOSS” which I love because I live a boss lifestyle! The personalized touch and outstanding customer service keep me coming back every time. Highly recommend NETA for anyone seeking quality products and top notch service.

Google
Incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff who make the experience easy and pleasant for all! They have great deals and high quality product I highly recommend to all!! I tried to post this yesterday and it posted to the Franklin location but I didn’t wanna take it down I figured I would let them just have the shout out anyways hahaha but anyways this location is amazing!!!!

Google
This place is great, everyone is super helpful if you have questions. It's usually very quiet when I go in there which is awesome for my PTSD. They also have really good prices and excellent sales all the time.

Google
Usually visiting the pot shop isn't my favorite as the bud tenders are checked out and don't help, don't know a thing, ring things in wrong, take forever, etc. But yesterday Neil helped me out and it was the best experience I've had at a dispensary, and I've been going since they opened in Colorado recreationally. I told him what I was looking for and he immediately had suggestions that matched my wants, was quick to get the things and scan them, and even helped me to save $$ by using my rewards account. He really went the extra mile and never made it seem like I was an inconvenience. 10 stars for Neil!!! Also happy to see they have moved the person who is the ID scanner at the front to inside!! It sucked standing out in the cold to scan my ID.

Google
Always greeted at the door by Roger. It's like visiting an old friend. Everytime I always spend a few minutes talking to him, both on the way in and on the way out. Great conversation. Also, it's always good to see Luke behind the counter. Very knowledgeable and professional. Always a pleasure to talk to.

Rachel “RachelC”

Google
Excellent customer service… I went into the dispensary today with questions about smoking marijuana, as it as been many years since I have. Rich was very helpful, shared his own experience and understood what was I was looking for and how to ease into this. Always a great, easy experience there and today was no exception. Highly recommend!

John Robie

Google
We drive a long distance to North Hampton to do business because of the product selection and the great service. Last week was no exception. Our purchase was ready and we were greeted and politely served by Joe.

Google
NETA has the best and friendliest bud tenders where everyone knows your name. Got my first delivery and was pleased to be met by my bud tender Luke. Thank you for making things as easy and inviting as in the store. CHEERS, everything is awesome!

Yelp
Faulty Products 10 out of 10 thc cartridges didn't work, but they wouldn't accept a return. I bought 10 cartridges as a medical patient and none of them work. The product won't even come out of the cartridge and couldn't be used in any way. I have tried everything I can do to make them work but nothing has worked. I went to the store and they acknowledged that the cartridges don't work but would only replace 3, because they have to destroy what is returned and can't resell it. This means that the only reason they aren't taking back FAULTY MEDICINE is because of the cost. I have bought many cartridges and I have never had dispensary cartridges that gunked up and became useless after just two hits. They acknowledge that they sold me trash but are refusing to do anything, and are calling themselves a "MEDICAL DISPENSARY." DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE IT IS A SCAM. I want to reiterate that I have bought cartridges from various dispensaries (in various states even) and have never had this issue happen this badly and this consistently. This was my first time being sold an obviously faulty product and I am shocked at their response. This is medicine for some people and they are selling items that don't work.

Patches B.

Yelp
I was misgendered by the security person out front before I even walked in the door, so that's great. Retrain your staff, folks. There's no need to "sir" anyone, especially someone with boobs, regardless of what's on their ID. And in Northampton of all places Go to INSA in Springfield. I've never been mistreated there.

Jojos D.

Yelp
I'd been a customer since '16 but recently stopped using NETA. I got tired of buying low grade cannabis advertised and priced as premium. Too often I'd find I just spent $160 on a 1/2 oz. that is almost completely dry, smells moldy and taste horrible. Not sure what happened with NETA but I've had enough of getting burned.

Candace D.

Yelp
Having been a Medical customer since NETA opened, I LOVED the original owner's customer service attitude. It helped me through a traumatic time, when nothing else did. Then it was bought out. Gone were the choices for Indica sleep patients like me, the brownies had been amazingly good. So I switched to capsules, wanting to lower my sugar intake (as all should). Upside 5 mg Indica capsules fit the bill and I bought a lot of them, the last time was March 30, 2022. Why so long ago? They no longer offer the product at any of the NETA shops in MA. When I wrote their customer service to ask, my first 4 emails were ignored. Then I got an automatic email asking how was customer service, to which I responded--not good. And asked again. Finally I got a response saying something about me being confused, that they sell Upside 25 mg Indica capsules. Ah, I wrote again to say--not what I asked. Clearly BIG Corporate pot companies no longer wish to help Medical patients. It's all recreational. Lousy operation.

Yelp
Way over Priced Stopped in to pick up some cones on my way home, Neta's price for a six pack of cones was more than double what they regularly retail for they are also vert unapologetic about it

Bob H.

Yelp
Used to be a good place, but since being sold to Surterra Wellness (a Georgia/Florida marijuana company), quality has gone sharply downhill. What was a friendly and helpful experience is now a bewildering affair. Find a locally-owned place!

Louis P.

Yelp
Welcome to NETA, the dispensary version of Southwest Airlines. Book a delivery time and sit and wait for nothing! Don't order from these people. Give them some time to get their act together. Complaining is like pissing against the wind. Knock knock, NOBODY is home! Go to SIRA, Apotheca, Revolutionary Clinic, Mayflower but stay away fro NETA.

Brendan T.

Yelp
Looking back on 2020, the experience here when passing through and picking up some wares, really sticks out in a positive way. I really appreciated how carefully and safely they went about the process, ensuring the quickest and most safest experience for both the employees and customers. S/o to them and I surely recommend a stop here and a stay overnight in town here or the general area if your looking to immerse yourself in the legal marijuana culture in Massachusetts.

Matthew M.

Yelp
Fire gas cured resin dabs. Good stuff! I got Lava Breath it was bussin. High as balls and good price.

James C.

Yelp
Quality weed and service. Price is a little high but no pun intended.

Peter D.

Yelp
Man, life has changed. Suddenly: 1. There are stores (in MA) where I can purchase marijuana legally. 2. I've reached the stage in my life where I buy marijuana for other people, and not myself. (Not that there was ever a stage where I bought it for myself. That would've been illegal.) I was in the market for some edibles to make certain folks in my life more comfortable in their ill state (and sure, also to make some of my friends higher than their usual state as long as I was in the 'hood), and NETA has a decent selection. They have candies, and chocolates, and tinctures, and more. It's been a while since I purchased any edibles, but they seem to have it down now. The chocolate bars come in little 5 mg squares that are perfect for someone a bit hesitant to try it at all, and trying to figure out the correct dosage. The tinctures are 1 mg per droplet (and faster acting for quicker relief), if you want to start even slower. This is a way better system than eating a quarter of a cookie in Amsterdam and seeing what happens. They seem to have a comprehensive menu (you can order ahead to cut down on the wait time too), and the lady I spoke with was nice, and fairly knowledgable. There is a bit of a cattle herding feel from the guy checking your ID to the line you're shuffled into, but at least the Trader Joes-esque system of many different registers moves quickly. It doesn't feel like an intimate experience, but it beats heading into Crown Heights and hoping not to get robbed like I used to do when we were kids. Or what I imagine other people might've done if they were willing to break the law.

Sarah B.

Yelp
My experience here was pretty good. I like the products they offer and their set up to get it seems organized. The line was long but went pretty quickly. When I pulled up and saw police directing traffic I got scared but it was actually great. The only bad thing was how loud it was inside. I couldn't hear my check out lady talking to me and she didn't seem super knowledgeable on products. But I would still return.

Vince G.

Yelp
It's fine. Kind of an annoying process to get in and out and everyone looks miserable. Maybe I went on a bad day, but I don't like the vibe. Product was good and MA pricing is all the same. Not my favorite spot.

Jody W.

Yelp
I'm not a pot connoisseur. But I know people that are - especially when it comes to edibles. Those edible-expert folks visited NETA last week and purchased a few items - including a particular chocolate bar - that they raved about. The chocolate "actually tastes like chocolate and not skunky plant mixed with chocolate". That was the first part of the rave. The additional feedback was about how it made them feel - just chill...which is what they were looking for. Edibles notoriously take a while to get into one's system. So, for recreational users, patience is a virtue it seems. For medical use, I know folks that rely on vaping and/or smoking for more immediate relief. Regarding the plants sold here? I honestly can't compare it to anything since I'm really inexperienced. That said, we visited over the weekend during a lull - there wasn't a long line (it's usually cray cray) and it was nothing like we expected. It's a nice sized space with people behind the counters that can answer questions and help with whatever happens to be on the "menu" for the day. Yes - they hand you a printout of what's available (after they get your ID). It's not like a convenience store that one can walk around and shop in. I thought the staff was awesome and I love the concept. NETA started as a medical-marijuana only shop and opened to the general public in November of 2018 once it was legalized in Massachusetts. The stuff on the menu wasn't cheap, but it didn't seem ridiculous. A few other things - no photography inside, you'll show ID multiple times and payment options are only cash, debit card (with a pin #) and credit card (with a pin #). Remember - crossing state lines with product is not a good idea since it's still not legal everywhere. I hope that NY gets its act together and legalizes bud soon.

Valerie S.

Yelp
Alright y'all, listen up, because I've just about had it with these reviews. All the same "This place is bulls***, I could get better weed from blah blah blah." Or, even better, "Out in California you get blah blah blah for way cheaper and there's a better selection". If you really think you get better bud from your cousins girlfriends best friends old barber....THEN BY ALL MEANS PLEASE GO BUY IT FROM THEM IN A DIMLY LIT PARKING LOT AND STOP TAKING UP SPACE IN THIS PLACE'S LINE. And if you are going to come to Massachusetts with it's entirely new legalized marijuana legislation, limited locations of recreational marijuana sale, and even more limited selection, and compare it to CALIFORNIA....just get outta here. The line is very often insanely long, yes. Order ahead online, it can be quite helpful. Take a moment to look at their "rush" times on Google and plan your trip accordingly, don't show up at 5pm on a Friday when everyone and their pet ant have shown up to collect their goodies and be shocked when you're forced to wait in line for an hour. We're all excited to be buying medical grade stuff, and there are few places to do so....so guess what, we all have to wait our turn. If you complain that their products or flower are low quality and post crap blurry photos of them, I would say that is completely incorrect and show you the fantastic product I have purchased. If you complain that the staff if rude or unhelpful, I would say that couldn't be farther from the truth. If you complain that they are too limited on amount you can purchase, I would say they are restricted by legal limitations outside of their control and have to prioritize patients first, which both make sense. Order ahead online for one order, pick up, then hop in line and order again. The limitations are set based on visit, not on a daily basis, the only thing to keep in mind is the quantity you are traveling with when you leave. I've purchased 15+ vape cartridges, 8+ edible products, flower, prerolls, and kief. One vape cartridge had a issue because of the metal used for the fuse, this issue has already been identified and fixed by NETA, and they replaced it for me in the most professional and polite way possible. That, and the understandably limited parking, are literally the only criticisms I can think of. Can't wait to see how NETA expands as things progress!

Meg W.

Yelp
They used to be the best dispensary but they don't even give new card holders discounts if they are after 30 days. Crappy. Never going again

Melissa N.

Yelp
Been coming here over a year. Bought a bunch of different things this last trip. Of the two pre rolls I bought, one was barely half the size of a pre roll and the top of the paper it was rolled in was torn all the way around. I come to this place because I thought it was secure. What's the point of coming to this place when stuff like this is happening? I will not be supporting this establishment any longer.

Jason M.

Yelp
Okay I I think I am all done here. NETA isn't even trying anymore. For the love of God, on a Monday night in February, they had two strains of flower available... Two. What great customer service to hand your clientele, some of whom have traveled basically an hour to get here, a menu with at least 5 available strains, only to be told that there are two available when you get to the counter. Again. Two strains. I can hear California and Washington laughing in the background. I visited tonight for my second time, but my first in a long time, optimistic, hopeful that the business was starting to mature and flourish in a state with legal recreational marijuana... And it's only getting worse. And the prices are still outrageous. It's eminently clear: it's time to just get my medical card in Connecticut and buy local. Or just get it off the street. Not worth more than a 15 minute drive.

Mike L.

Yelp
There has to be better service and product for medical patients in this state. This is an embarrassment

Erin W.

Yelp
even though neta, (northampton) has the least expensive marijuana in the northampton area, if you are a caregiver you cannot put an order in your name or pick up any orders in your name as the caregiver in my case for my spouse. since my husband got his medical marijuana card, i have done the ordering since my husband does not use computers. until last month never had a problem but now i am told these orders have to be in my husband's name who does not have the money to pay for these orders, not able to order online (does not use computers), and he also has to go into neta to pick these up - husband is disabled has problems with walking - drives me to pick up his orders as well and sits in the car while i go in to pick up! never had this problem before or at any other medical marijuana dispensary as well...so i am now a customer once again of insa in easthampton ma because they treat their customers with respect that is not done in the neta in northampton ma...hope this company can continue to lose business because of your manager at this location in northampton ma! have done the exact same thing each time i have ordered for my husband and entered neta to pick up my husbands order since he got his medical marijuana card! so if a caregiver be warned!!!

Franklin F.

Yelp
I ordered delivery this morning and was given a window of 4 -6 pm . I got a message that my order was ready to go out at 3:44pm. Then I got a crypt text giving me a link to go to for a "message about my delivery". When I went to the link, they give me the bad news that my delivery will not be here until 6:11pm. So NETA or should I call you Comcast why even have a window of time for delivery if it means nothing. I can't wait until I recover from surgery and can drive again so I don't have to try to depend on this dysfunctional dispensary!

Theo B.

Yelp
I love the place. They have great stuff and it's very clean and the sales people are nice and well educated. I wish the place where you leave had hand sanitizer and I wish the place where you leave and then walk right through the huge line was taped off.

Jenn K.

Yelp
Always a good experience here. I usually do a pre order but on occasion have walked in. Everyone is always super helpful. During the pandemic they had getting in and out down pat. I've never had a product that I didn't enjoy.

Allysia O.

Yelp
This place is great. Yeah, it's more expensive than buying from your friend or dealer but if you don't have that option, anything is better than nothing. Being able to walk right into a building and leave with multiple strains, joints, gummies, candy, lozenges, vapes, and concentrates is great. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. When we got there we were behind 15 to 20 people but they have 7 or 8 registers so we didn't wait very long at all. I was worried I wouldn't know what I wanted to order by the time I got to the front, especially since I was a little toasty already. Yes there's a limit to what you can buy, however you can go home, drop off your treasure and then return for more. All in all we had an amazing experience and I cant wait to taste my chocolate bar!!

Ryan S.

Yelp
What can I say the place is a very nice place I enjoy most of the staff and know a few by first name and they also know me. I go there at least 3-4 times a week for there dose cubes. I enjoy going there

Tim H.

Yelp
Let me preface this by saying I spoke with someone over the phone before visiting and they were very friendly and helpful as were the employees in the store. No qualms with the employees or service. Unfortunately the product is ludicrously overpriced and of sub par quality. For a recreational customer it's $50 an 1/8- with tax we are paying $60 an 1/8. That's $480 an ounce. Not that you can even buy an ounce as a recreational user.. It's 1/8 flower max per transaction. Technically you could wait in line again and buy another 1/8.. but why bother when it is so insanely overpriced? Even if it was the best weed on the planet it would hardly be worth that price. I tried the Bruce Banner, Flo OG and Ghost Train Haze. The Bruce Banner was delicious, quality bud- but still not worth what it costs. The Flo and Ghost Train were AWFUL. I legitimately disliked those two strains and would have been unhappy paying $30 an 1/8 let alone twice that. The Ghost Train Haze has a citrusy, "Jack Herer" smell to it; unfortunately it doesn't translate to flavor when smoked or vaped. Tastes awful. On top of that the Ghost Train has partially developed seeds within the buds. This is indicative of herm plants and just plain careless/amateurish growing. It makes for an even more truly unpleasant smoke when one of those pre seeds burns. Going strictly by cost to quality ratio on flowers this place would get less than 1 star.

Kellie R.

Yelp
Once again, NETA has proved to be amazing! This location is not as busy as the one near Boston. We literally walked up to the counter with no wait time. Our cashier was super knowledgeable and informed us on new products and products we have never used before. This time around, I bought the THC drops and boy, are those strong! I put about 6 drops into juice and it hits hard (also, no flavor when put in juice. I made the mistake of putting it in Mountain Dew and it was nasty). Everything has been great so far. NETA and Insa are now my go-to dispensaries because they're so close to each other and it's not a far drive from where I am.

Magic M.

Yelp
I've tried giving this dispensary several opportunities. You can find some good deals especially if you are medical however every single time I went (5 times) the flower is old and often dry. You will likely get flower dated from 2021; the quality is missing from all of their bud. It is a shame because the staff is very friendly and the facility is pleasant to be in. Save yourself some money and take your business elsewhere if you are looking for fresh and quality flower.

Nate G.

Yelp
This place isn't doing what it once was. I'm starting to become frustrated coming here. The staff is starting to become less and less interactive and the limits are ridiculous. Go to Lowell if possible. PatriotCare

Io S.

Yelp
The "treatment" here must mean "royal treatment" because that's what we received once we were in the place, which reminds me of a Jared jewelers in appearance and the manner in which one is served. On this occasion -- Bastille Day -- we were helped (though "guided" would be more appropriate) by Betty, who was as knowledgeable as she is tattooed, which is to say, plenty. She kindly and patiently explained the ins and outs of sativa vs. indica, the various strains of kush and their respective potential effects, etc., while also giving us an ad hoc primer on Massachusetts cannabis laws. I have yet to smoke any of the pre-rolled joints, or inhale any of the bowl-ready kush we purchased, but the customer service has already imparted a "contact high" of sorts. Cash only, but there are police nearby directing traffic, and the facility itself seems extremely secure. The neighborhood is a bit gentrified from my days in the Pioneer Valley (30 years ago!), so anyone should feel secure scoring their spliff here.

K. S.

Yelp
I've purchased the distillate numerous times. $95. And you'll NEVER get more than 2/3 of the syringe. The cheap plastic gadget its packaged in always stops with 1/3 left. You'll waste a fortune at this place for a bunch of low quality crap. The apex prefilled carts are garbage too.

Bryan M.

Yelp
People whatever you do don't purchase any pax items from NETA if you have a problem with it they do not stand behind what they sell I just bought a pax 2 bud vaporizer it didn't work for shit had it 3 days didnt use it and they were rude and would not return the item they sold me I paid cash for it had the receipt spent thousands of dollars there and they wouldn't take back something they sold no instead you get fucked and have to deal with a company thats half way around the world its bullshit and people there are so many better dispensary's around that stand by what they sell and have WAY BETTER PRICES all of the time I mean you can get an 1/8 for 25.oo amherst or eastampton NETA can't touch them REMEMBER THEY STAND BY NOTHING THEY WANT YOUR MONEY AFTER THAT YOUR NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF SHIT TO THEM MANAGERS ARE TRAINED THAT WAY people do yourselves a favor stay away from NETA

Pete E.

Yelp
Terrible weed. I'm absolutely shocked anyone would find this stuff passable. They appear to destroy it with some sort of flash-drying, which gives the flower this sort of "astronaut ice cream" crumble, with as much flavor as a burned sheet of paper. Smells like green hay that was stored near 'real' weed. Let's talk potency, too: $50 for an eighth called "FACEWRECK". Ripoff. I've been higher smoking stems and seeds during those lean years back in high school. "Facewreck"?!. Please. I call shenanigans on their whole operation. There's NO WAY you'd ever sell this garbage out west, much less to anyone familiar with proper cannabis. NETA engages in dishonest product labeling, taking advantage of credulous newbies and overly-enthused stoners alike. I wouldn't have a problem if they advertised "low THC for now, the real s**t is coming soon!" I see no reason to ever return, until they can compete with quality cannabis. What they sell now is absolute garbage. Amateur hour green schwag.

Ann P.

Yelp
Well, was in town for a wedding and our hotel was x the street. The wedding goers were shopping so I joined. 20 minute efficient line and inside, super knowledgable professionals. I asked for a sleep/anxiety remedy to help those nights when my thoughts were in rampage mode. Chose a CBD non THC and thought the price was fair. Very professional operation. I was humbled to see a Vietnam Vet and other medically involved folks, shopping for their treatments. I am proud to be from a progressive state that respects choices for alternate healing. As far as recreational use, no judgement, go for it. Will report how my remedy works.

Nancy M.

Yelp
Checked this place out en route to Vermont for a mini vacation. Glad we stopped by. Very organized, and the staff is extremely helpful and considerate. We preordered from their website just before leaving home, and it was a short line outside their door when we got there. The walk-in line was going out the door, but it moved rather quickly. Organization is key in running an establishment as this. We will definitely be back in the near future!

Johnny F.

Yelp
Sixty dollars for an eighth and it looks like this i can get better bud for half the price very upset with the quality waited thirty minutes in the cold and i come home to some mediocre shake

Cici S.

Yelp
This is a very structured establishment. You have to stand in line at the front entrance, get your ID checked, and be ushered into the building, where you stand in another line. The interior almost functions like a bank, where you stand in line and wait until one of the "tellers" or consultants are available at their "window." There is no browsing freely or openly. You consult with the consultant, who checks your ID again before finalizing any purchase. You are then directed to exit out of a door that is different and not located near the entrance door. The consultants are knowledgeable and nice; however, they do seem to rush you, as they are busy and get a ton of patrons. As for product, they offer a large variety of different forms, from cooking oil to suppositories!

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times, my first experience was adequate, however, my experience yesterday was terrible, and I would not return to this dispensary again. I drove a long distance to get here, and it was a HUGE disappointment ... Here's why I feel this way: I didn't like being herded like cattle as I waited in the long line for a turn to go up to the counter to buy product. Outside they could offer a heated waiting area/tent during the winter months or offer restaurant style pagers or offer to text people while they wait in their warm cars. It just takes a bit of caring to do this. I do understand you can order ahead if youknow what you want but I like to discuss the options and products since I'm not familiar with all the options. I'm also considering getting a medical card to avoid the 20% Tax in the future. I understand that could cost upwards of $150.00. I found the product menu limited and confusing because they had both medical & recreational products on the same menu. And, many items were only available to medical users. They need to have two separate menus to prevent this confusion. The woman who waited on me was impatient and did not take time to explain things on the menu and what they had in stock and what they were out of, she was a poor listener and stock levels were very low on many of there offerings on the menu. The acoustics in this place are very POOR because of the high ceilings, the clerks are closely stationed all speaking loudly so you can hear everyones conversations. There is no sense of privacy or personal space. I was elbow to elbow with the customer next to me. I could barely hear what my clerk was saying with all the competing voices, add to that some LOUD music blaring from the speakers above and yet another layer of noise from the metal exit door that kept slamming closed with a loud BANG and it was sensory overload to an INSANE LEVEL...Try asking questions, to hear a response to make decisions and choices. I just HATED that part of my experience and won't do it again. I'm not an expert, but prices seemed high to me: single rolled joints are $12.00 ea. and you can only buy 3 at a time. Vape cartridges are $60.00. I'm going to look for an alternative place that offers a better customer experience.

Yelp
I've received terrible customer service during several trips to this place. Most recently, they have been changing their hours and policies without making updates to their website or communications. Their customer service phone line closes at 7:30pm, so they can't help you after then. They do not seem to care about providing quality customer service, they just want to take your cash.

Yelp
Check your receipt VERY carefully, you won't get what you asked for and they will treat you like garbage if you push back. Condescending jerks, refuse to acknowledge errors, outright lies even. Go elsewhere and avoid the stupidity.

Yelp
Great concentrates, flower could be better. Pre rolls are decent. Bud is too dry and the crystals should sparkle not look dusted on the bud.

Yelp
What gives, NETA? I wanted to pay you a visit while en route to my weekend getaway in the Pioneer Valley but apparently you weren't digging that plan. I placed a Reserve Ahead online order and received the "Click here to confirm your reservation and submit it for processing" email, but then literally nothing happened afterward. I clicked the link about a dozen times and never received any subsequent emails. After about two hours I knew something was amiss so I tried calling them. Several times. No one ever picked up and their mailbox was full. As we were approaching Northampton, I decided to place an order at another dispensary and it was confirmed within five minutes. Your loss, NETA. I tried.

Yelp
Huge fan! Professional, fast, organized and they sell great product. I love the prerolls, especially in the new 3 packs.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. It's busy, but with a medical card you get in more quickly and to another side of the sales room. For recreational they seem to always be busy, so plan to have time for a line and wait. Wide selection. I did not buy flower, but the available options each visit looked great. I bought edibles and tinctures. Good stuff with consistent, accurate dosage measurements - 10mg feels like 10mg. So I really like the product. Chocolates were very tasty, to boot. The space is pretty much functional, but stylish for that. Nothing decadent or luxurious or exciting. Straightforward with a modern aesthetic. I think that matters in shopping. Ambience here is good. The staff I worked with were definitely beginners when it came to edibles. They seemed to all know a lot more about flower and not much beyond available stock when it came to edible dosing. I figure that will change with time.

Yelp
Excellent staff extremely helpful and courteous- with a nice selection wait time zero!

Yelp
This place is very well and efficiently run. If you just stop in, you will have to wait to get in and again once you are in, but the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Pre order is the way to go! This separate queue is fast-you are in, then you are out! I live near this establishment, and although the first two months that NETA was open, the crowds of people and traffic were bad, NETA has been a 'Good Neighbor' working with the local neighborhoods residents, nearby businesses, and the city itself to minimize any inconveniences that this business may cause.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this place. First, I do like the products, the variety, and the customer service IN store. HOWEVER, I just purchased a $70 Vape pod last week that isn't working and they will not trouble shoot over the phone. They only suggested it may be defective and to bring it back to the store. Why are defective products being sold? I'm pretty disappointed that the only option is to go to the store when working full time and having absolutely no babysitting options right now because of the COVID pandemic. I'm really disappointed that I spent that money and can't get the pod to work.

Yelp
I'm a get in and get out kind of customer so I was a little upset when the website had been updated and made finding what you were looking for much more difficult. However, I called ahead and was told that I could just show up and order on the spot. Figured I'd give it a shot and was not disappointed. The customer service here was spectacular, everyone was super nice. This is still my favorite dispensary. I've been here around four times among other places and this place is still the best in Western Mass!
