Lives up to the hype! The food was of high quality and thoughtfully prepared. We had tuna, pasta with crevettes, duck lasagna, and sea bass – all dishes were well cooked and nicely seasoned. Everything was served at the right temperature and with care. The service was friendly, attentive, and made an effort to accommodate us, without being too formal or intrusive. A very good experience overall – we’d be happy to come again.

Incredible food and outstanding service, Nevodi was hands down the best restaurant of my Italy trip. We ordered the fish lasagne, codfish, and grilled octopus, and each dish was a masterclass in seafood. You can tell the chefs cook with both skill and heart, every element was thoughtful and beautifully balanced. The cod fish dish in particular was the best dish I’ve ever tasted, the fish was cooked perfectly and everything on that plate paired perfectly together. The dinner was so good that I had to get dessert which I never do. The tiramisu was also delicious, homemade and very fresh.

Very good food. We had duck, it was tender and lots of flavour and ravioli which was delicious. I also had a cheeky little scallop which was also very good. Price was reasonable at less than €80 for 2 of us including wine. Service was very natural and friendly. The atmosphere was great without being too busy

Great restaurant and amazing food! We had reservation but we were seated indoors even though we wanted outdoors. The atmosphere is nice inside as well! Staff were great.

We enjoyed the tender octopus, the incredibly flavorful beef cheek ravioli, and a standout tuna tartar that was truly one-of-a-kind. Each bite felt like a celebration of Venetian culinary artistry. But what truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service from Gianguido, our waiter. I have a dairy allergy, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was safe for me. He personally checked with the chef multiple times, and his attentiveness and care turned a great meal into a memorable one. Thank you, Gianguido—you made our dinner not just delicious, but also filled with warmth and ease. Highly, highly recommend Nevodi to anyone visiting Venice. I tried their signature octopus which was good and paired with the sauce super flavorful paired with roasted potatoes very filling but it was a bit on the tougher side and hard to chew. The gnocchi on the other hand, was delicious. Very creamy and soft and pillowy. The beef tartare was also amazing and extra smooth with the quail egg.

Great experience from a “Venician owned restaurant”. We had the caprisi salad, the pasta special with swordfish and the vegetarian ravioli along with some delicious deserts. We will absolutely be back! Thank you for the wonderful finale to our Venice visit!

Our waiter, part storyteller, part culinary tour guide, made sure we left not just full, but practically fluent in Italian cuisine.
