"Some people are never afraid to change up their style. They’ll go to a party with brand new bangs (and not adjust them self consciously the entire night), or wear a fedora with zero explanation when they meet you for coffee. There might be the occasional failure (those dolphin-skin boots were… problematic), but at least they keep it interesting - just like Good Fortune does in Logan Square. This low-key neighborhood spot is cute and dark with a busy bar area playing Hall and Oates or the Eagles, and a small upstairs dining room overlooking an open kitchen. But even though this place feels as casual as a pair of Converse, the menu is full of Louboutin heels - like a brightly acidic arctic char with sesame jam and carrot ponzu, or handmade pansotti with tender rabbit and foie gras butter. In other words, it’s more upscale than what you’d expect to find at the Brown Elephant. And while the food at some similar places is as predictable as Lisa Simpson’s dress, Good Fortune switches it up. One day, you might find a really good ribeye with bone marrow and a crispy cromesquis, while on another it’s replaced with striploin and sausage. And like that time Malibu Stacy got a new hat, even menu staples like the caramelized halloumi frequently change their accessories. If you’re not a fan of the pickled peaches and za’atar that come with it the first time you eat here, the next time it could be served with roasted figs and harissa yogurt - which is the best, so please contact your congressman to keep it on the menu. Like those DIY Betty Page bangs, some ideas just don’t work out. The black garlic rigatoni looks cool (it’s very shiny, and reminds us of the gimp’s costume from American Horror Story ), but the bland mushroom conserva it’s served with is as unmemorable as that Door County t-shirt that ended up in your closet somehow. And the bowl of roasted prawns with octopus, sausage, lentils, and piperade is an overcooked mess with shellfish oil muddling all the flavors together. But bad ideas don’t last forever, and bangs will eventually grow out - so on the next visit, they’ll be replaced with something better. And considering that it took us six months to work up the courage to leave the house in a jumpsuit, we appreciate that Good Fortune even makes an effort. If you’ve read this far, then you already know that the food here changes often. But below are a few examples of what you can expect." - Adrian Kane

Wow. Just wow. New Fortune sent a $10 coupon for $50 spent in the mail and we took a chance on a date night. We are so glad we did. The service was awesome. The environment is great (no TVs!!). The food was amazing. It is no surprise this won “Best Asian—Greater Milwaukee” in 2019! Shoutout to our awesome, attentive, and funny server Eric! We had a Year of the Dragon cocktail. Strawberry, fresh squeezed lemonade, and vodka. It was a great compliment to the spicy mustard. The homemade Spicy mustard, and sweet and sour sauce were delicious. The spicy mustard is a horseradish mustard that packs a great punch up front and then backs off so you can still taste your food. The combination platter was a great way to start—some of the best shrimp tempura we’ve had, a delicious beef stick, a unique chick stick, and some of the best crab ragoons I’ve ever had. The egg roll wasn’t my favorite, but it was still good. As for our entrees, the kung Pao beef was with peanut, crispy water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, crunchy green bell peppers, and peanut sauce with a spicy bite. The hung sue was even better, the tempura on the chicken was amazing and it had mushrooms and snap peas in addition to bamboo and chestnuts. Cons: it’s a little difficult to find parking. We ended up parking on the street behind a ways. Also, the rice was a little dry? Like it’d been sitting in a pot for awhile. But once you smothered it in the sauce it was great. Other than that, no cons at all. It was SPECTACULAR!

Google
When we lived in the area my husband and I used to love coming here, so when I was passing through recently I got takeout. Food was still as fresh and tasty as I remembered, with friendly service. Great lunch specials. I am now gluten free, so appreciated that my container was clearly marked.

Google
Wow our first time eating here before the Texas Tenors concert at the Cedarburg performing Arts center and what great food and service. My wife and I have been searching for a top notch sit down Chinese restaurant and we’ve found it here. All 4 of us had something different and we all raved about the food. The service was great as well. We’re planning to check it out soon for lunch and can’t wait. Highly recommend!

Google
Wow, we really had been missing out! We had been trying to check this place out for awhile and finally did. It is so cute and well decorated inside. They have a big menu which I love. All the food was delicious! I had a seafood dish. The crab ragoons were the best we’ve ever had. Definitely need to get two orders next time. The kids loved the chicken lo mein. All of the portions were huge. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back! Can’t wait to try the other items. It appears they have a patio! But we sat inside which was just fine. Didn’t take any pics we ate the food too fast!

Google
I've lived in Cedarburg for 7 years and New Fortune is still my favorite restaurant to this day. The crab rangoons are nice and fried, not too much stuffing so it doesn't get soggy and gross. I typically get either the General Tso's chicken or sesame chicken and it's always perfect. The people and atmosphere are also great.

Google
My daughter loves fried dumplings. When she tried their fried dumplings she said it was the best she ever had. They were super delicious. I love the fact that they make there food from scratch. We been a few times now every time the food on point the staff amazing. The owner is just a wonderful person and the food is so good. I am so looking forward to trying new dishes here because what I had so far is just Divine and I love finding new places that I haven't been too. I really enjoy delicious food. I'm kicking myself for not trying this place sooner. I could eat here everyday. And they're sweet and sour sauce from scratch so good so so good they need to market that and sell that in the stores.

Google
Wonderful food. We love their fried rice and the fact they can make it gluten free to order. Won Ton soup amazing. We received extra special attention from a super friendly and efficient waitress named Delaney.

Google
Fresh quality ingredients and properly prepared sauces make this the best place for Chinese in OZ. All the classics and more done right. Highly recommend the honey walnut shrimp. Perfect combo of flavor and savor. Sweet and sour soup with tofu instead of the usual pork is a nice twist, and house made spring rolls are part of the full dinner option. A return visit soon to try the chicken lettuce wraps special before they are gone. Past orders of vegie fried rice, Szechuan chicken, and shrimp lo mein all on point.

Jeff P.

Yelp
This is the best Asian Cuisine in the Milwaukee area. Friendly staff and great twice cooked pork, New Fortune fried rice and shrimp with lobster sauce. Great family that does a lot for the Cedarburg community.

Eric D.

Yelp
Maybe the most tasteless Kung Pao chicken I have ever had! Color was bland as was the flavor and no choice to spice level! Peanuts were soft and lacking the usual vegetables and loaded with bamboo shoots. Not from the area so no need to worry about going back!

Jerilyn A.

Yelp
My parents and I came here for a low key birthday dinner after tasting new fortunes fried rice during festivals over the years. We ordered fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, egg foo young, and sweet and sour chicken. I appreciated that you can add an egg roll and egg drop soup to entrees for a small up charge. The fried rice was yummy, but I didn't love the chicken I ordered and when I asked my dad about the honey walnut shrimp he said it was "interesting". It didn't look that great so I decided not to try. My mother enjoyed her egg foo young. This could've definitely been a case of ordering the wrong thing- but the fried rice, egg roll, and egg drop soup were enjoyable. Service was fine.

Terri T.

Yelp
the absolute best fried rice meat combination i have ever had in 3 separate states!! i can't wait to go back & i'm very thankful it is close to me. you will not be sorry with the fried rice. i haven't tried anything else there as it was my 1st time going

Paul K.

Yelp
Will be back again. The pepper steak dish was outstanding. The chef's are some of the best. Service staff are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to be there. Reasonably priced and is worth returning to. Thank you to all for a happy dinning experience.

Shannon E.

Yelp
This place has been raved about. The egg rolls are seriously amazing. General Tao's B. Wasn't spicy and portion seemed small. Chicken with Cashew nuts was yummy. Ambiance B- Food B Service A- the owners are super nice.

Yelp
Came here recently for a Saturday evening date night and was pleased with the experience. The interior is charming and lends itself easily to a date night or evening out with friends. The service is top notch--prompt, friendly, and efficient. We began our evening with one of their specialty cocktails. It's worth noting that though they have 5 or 6 specialty cocktails on their menu, they don't have a full bar and those are the only cocktails they offer. Their cocktails lean toward sweet with most featuring vodka (not my fave). I got some sort of blue loveliness. It was sweet and fruity. For an appetizer, we got their crab rangoon. It was good, though more cream cheese than crab. Dinner entrees come with egg drop soup and an egg roll, which is a nice touch and both of which were good. For my entree, I got the sesame chicken which was also a solid choice. All in all, it was probably more of a 3.5 star experience than 4 but due to the good value and amazing service, I rounded up!

Yelp
We had 7 people on Sunday at New Fortune for dinner. We had someone who has celiac and they had a great gluten free menu option. They seated us promptly, but the service for only having a couple tables was sub par. We asked for a specific drink and the GF crab Rangoon (went there specifically for it). The drink they said they didn't have an item in it but they ended up having it and then they let us know they didn't have the GF crab Rangoon which put a sour taste in our mouth. The food was fine. Nothing spectacular. We heard it was good from a couple people, but honestly, it didn't give any wow factor, especially since our server was not very diligent. Our waters were empty for a while before anyone came by add more. And I had the chicken broccoli which wasn't bad. My husband had the general tso which was also just fine. The best part of my meal was the spring roll which I highly recommend and the cucumber drink. Again, not a bad place but also wasn't a place I'd highly recommend anyone to go out of their way to go to.

Yelp
been excited to try this local Asian restaurant after seeing their signs outside saying it's won best of Milwaukee awards! we came at 5:30 and were shocked to see a wait already ... fortunately for us but it was only 15min. lots of others in the restaurant getting their takeout order. you could tell the staff was extremely extremely busy. we both ordered chicken entrees & got the egg roll & soup ... oh my goodness, their egg roll was FANTASTIC!! I could literally just eat those as my entree. our meals came out & while my fiancé's had nice big pieces of chicken, mine was largely the small breading pieces / very little chicken. will go again, but may opt for takeout if during a busy time.

Your F.

Yelp
I have no idea how this place wins any Milwaukee's Best mentions. Boring, average food. No thanks.

Ashley H.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place but the food was just meh. We ordered their egg rolls and it was so battered and fried with very little filling so you're just eating batter. We ordered the Chicken Lo Mein and Garlic Shrimp and it was just very oily. I really wanted to love this place and I love the outdoor seating but the food is a bit too greasy and oily for me.

Michael K.

Yelp
The best Shrimp Egg Foo Yung I've ever had, and I'm old!! The egg roll La aren't as good as Hong Anh

Izzy P.

Yelp
Staff was very welcoming and kind the entire time we were in. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly!! The food came out delicious! We ordered dumplings as an appetizer, and then got sesame chicken and Thai chili chicken entrees. We really enjoyed our visit and will come back!!

Brian R.

Yelp
Ordered takeout. The chicken fried rice was really good. The staff were really nice. I know this place was voted #1 in 2018 and 2019, but something must have happened during COVID. My Mongolian beef was mostly bamboo shoots. WHERE'S THE BEEF? I'm not a panda. The sesame chicken was chewy, and about 1/3rd of the container was broccoli, and it was all at the bottom so it looked like the whole container was chicken. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon tasted like they came from a freezer pack.

Roberta C.

Yelp
Great selection of food and very friendly service. I like being able to order the level of "heat" I like in my food. Prices are very reasonable and a place I could easily eat at weekly

Michelle L.

Yelp
Amazing amazing amazing Our server, Heidi was out of this world! The honey walnut shrimp was the absolute best thing I have ever eaten in the entire world! Get it! You won't regret it! The owner even came out to check on us. Thank you for an incredible dinner and experience We will be back!

Ryan H.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Ordered and shared a few entrees and apps. Everyone enjoyed their food, except my wife. Her GF Pad Thai was really more like a soup. Not at all what she was expecting. Our server didn't exactly seem interested in being there and I found her sitting at a table by herself on her phone a few times.

Amy S.

Yelp
Always tasty food. Can make most dishes gluten free. Staff is friendly and the value is there.

Yelp
Visited Cedarburg for a long weekend getaway from downtown Chicago. We are looking at moving to this area and a lot of locals told us to try New Fortune for Chinese food. We love the Chinese food in Chicago and we are excited to hear that good and fresh Chinese food exists in Cedarburg! Needless to say - We were not disappointed! I had the beef with green beans chef special and it was sooo good! Green beans are my fav with Asian dishes and everything was extremely fresh and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the sesame chicken and loved it, he is very picky about his Chinese chicken dishes! Nothing had pieces of burnt fried crust on it or any gross fatty chunks. We loved everything! The staff was so incredibly friendly and when they got word that we are looking to move there, they were eager to talk to us about the town and what they love about living there. We felt so welcomed and the owner even came by to talk to us, despite being busy with a full dinner service and tons of take out orders! We will definitely be back and when we move, it will be a weekly take out staple!

Sjohn S.

Yelp
Man, had high hopes going in due to when we ordered take out months back it was pretty good. But, dining in did not live up to expectations. First had some crab Rangoon arrive, and though it was tasty, it wasn't really much to deem amazing. Fried dough with sweetened cream cheese isn't hard to mess up. Second, the egg drop soup and egg rolls arrived. Both were tasty, but again nothing memorable. Next is where it started getting 'meh'. The dumplings were very doughy, and the pork mix inside lacked taste, or whatever taste was in there was overpowered by the wall of dough surrounding it. The kicker to the rating was our entrees. I ordered the Mongolian beef- which is described as sautéed beef with white and green onions. My dish was a limited amount of beef cooked with a can of bamboo shoots and some generic Chinese brown gravy. A few green onions went swimming as well, but no white onions to be found. When I mentioned that I didn't know the dish had bamboo shoots I was vigorously assured it did. My wife ordered the general tso's. It had the texture and the taste of the general tso's from Trader Joe's, which isn't a bad thing if you're making a quick meal at home, but for going out to eat? Service- I hate knocking service these days, cause I know good service is hard to find, but it was mediocre at best. The dismissal about the dish I ordered was a turn off and our dirty plates were passed over numerous times after clearly being done with them.

Yelp
Hits the spot. If you really enjoy a family atmosphere that doesn't hold a lot of people, friendly staff and nearly the best Chinese food around, this is it. The egg rolls are to die for. Hand made everyday by the thousands each week, you're not going to find better. I've heard the same about the crab Rangoon, but it's not my thing so I don't know. Menu items are delicious and the staff are more than willing to accommodate special requests. For example, I like my fried rice darker (like double dragon in West Allis used to make) with lots of green onions and extra shrimp. Room for large parties in the back. The place isn't fancy, has a robust take out and the owner, Jimmy, has a perpetual smile on his face from saying hit to people. For Cedars (people from Cedarburg) this is a weekly staple. For tourists, you'll walk right past it if you're not paying attention.

Steve M.

Yelp
New Fortune is better than the Mequon, Grafton and even Shorewood, Bayside and Fox Point Chinese restaurants. After about 30 visits in the past 6 years there has never been a disappointment. Dine in for a change soon, not just take out!

Oleg O.

Yelp
Crab Rangoons have ZERO crab. Not even a little. Should be called "fried wantons". It's honestly embarrassing for the chef.

Judith F.

Yelp
This is the #1 Chinese restaurant we first came for dinner after the 2 sons bought back the restaurant their father owned for years before moving out of town. The father returned and is the chef! The food is always fresh, very delicious, good portions & the egg rolls are outstanding!! 5 stars plus!

Steven T.

Yelp
This was one of those long time bookmarks that I thought I should just drive over because it's far away and I'm not in the area very much so I did for lunch today. I was surprised to find it on the most popular street in Cedarburg with scarce parking and tons of people walking around on a 30 degree day. I did find a parking spot kinda across the street on the corner and ordered take out. The menu is not the typical large Asian phone book but enough of the favorites and nicely rounded with some specials for apps, mains and drinks which was nice. It was hard to pick something because I like everything on the menu but the curry beef would be the winner today with an egg roll. The curry beef smelled amazing and looked delicious in a watery curry sauce. The egg roll was slightly above average, crispy/tasty with crunchy cabbage and no meat that I could see or taste. The curry beef was about 70/30 veggies to beef in a tasty curry sauce that I would have liked better if it was a thicker gravy style sauce. The beef was the thin tender style and the veggies were cooked perfect with some crunch left in them and not mushy, thank you for that because some places cook the veggies to mush and you don't get the contrasting textures in the dish which is just as important as taste/flavors/smells. Overall the food was better than average and I'm sad that it's so far away because I probably will not get to sample more of the menu but I enjoyed today's meal.

Abso F.

Yelp
Poor quality food, not much food for the price they charge and the staff is hit or miss- overall just very average. This place gets hyped because there are not many options in town and it's edible.

Tierra R.

Yelp
One of our favorite restaurants in Cedarburg! Their egg roles are insanely good, like my favorite ever! Staff are attentive and very sweet.

Tedan H.

Yelp
I came in knowing this is an Americanized Chinese restaurant, so did not expect I would have the authentic Chinese food here. However, regardless of the good dinning service, I hate to say, but the food was horrendous. We ordered twice-cook pork, a tofu dish, Szechuan shrimp, and Peking dumpling. The three a la carte items, in spite of having different main ingredients (shrimp, tofu, and chastu pork respectively), have the exact same sauce (they called the "brown sauce"), same look, and same taste. All very greasy and salty with Napa cabbages as the background ingredient. The dumpling is like a bao: thick skins with little to no pork inside. This only makes me sad, because customers who go to the only Chinese restaurant in the city of Cedarburg will never know what real Chinese food is. I think with the price of the food, I could expect a little bit more than what was served. I truly hope the owner and the chef can reconsider the food on the menu and how to them to serve the customers.

Nicole M.

Yelp
the absolute WORST vegetable fried rice ever. NO vegetables and it stunk like old socks. We gaged when we opened the package, took one small bite and had to throw the whole thing out!

Ashley T.

Yelp
Delicious! I don't eat Chinese food regularly because most places are all the same to me. This is the first time I've had Chinese food that I thought was actually delicious. Crab Rangoon had excellent flavor. My only complaint is that the filling ratio was off. Perhaps make them smaller but keep the filling amount the same? Out of the 6 that came with the order 3 of them had very little filling. Egg drop soup was the best I've ever had. Could actually taste the egg. Egg roll was good. I've had better but it wasn't bad by any means. Husband had general Tsoas chicken. There was zero spice. Isn't this supposed to be a spicy dish? Additionally the texture of his chicken was a little off. Chicken fried rice was so good. Fluffy, moist, generous amounts of juicy chicken. I may never be able to get this from anywhere else as I'll always be let down. My sweet and sour chicken was also very good. Typically, the chicken quality from other places is lacking with this dish. They overcook it, and use fatty or grisly pieces. Not the case here. All the pieces were delicious!! I can't wait to go back to try other dishes and hopefully give them 5 stars next time.

Carrie R.

Yelp
Another delicious dinner from our favorite Asian restaurant! The chicken fried rice never disappoints, it's a favorite in our house, and the chicken with mixed vegetables was fantastic as well. Staff is consistently friendly, efficient and helpful. The owners are always exceptionally warm and welcoming.

John R.

Yelp
All the food we order was poor. I ordered the Mongolian beef. It was served to me extremely spicy (no symbol next to it stating it was) and the ingredients were different than what was on the menu. Waitress was nice but insisted it was Mongolian beef. My first though was the chef just simply maybe the wrong dish. We could not eat it cause it was too spicy so we sent it back. A few moment later the owner came to the table. I thought it was maybe to apologize for the misunderstanding. My mother started to speak he immediately cut her off and said "Get out" and pointed at the door. We were shocked! I'm 40 years old, my mother 70 and we have never been treated like that at a restaurant or business of any kind. Appalling.

Philip B.

Yelp
One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to and have gone to dozens. Everything is delicious. Not that heavy on the fat which is a distinct plus. Emphasis is therefore more on taste and flavor. So pleased they are only 2 miles away.

WW W.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Asian fusion food. Too many delicious dishes to name although sesame chicken and Hunan chicken are a few of my favorites. Crab rangoons are delicious incredible. The staff is fun, friendly and extremely attentive to your needs, whether you are dining in or taking out. A+++ Bruce Weber

Cara T.

Yelp
We ordered two entirely different dishes and they both came with the same sauce. I wasn't very happy when they omitted the black mushrooms described on the menu either.

Carole C.

Yelp
Just ok. Food was rather bland even though I asked for spicy. Servers were nice but made it clear that they closed at 1pm. We got there for lunch at a little after noon. Very rushed. Probably not going back. Too bad as we need a good Asian restaurant here.

Susy H.

Yelp
We hAve picked up forts from Mew Fortune twice. The 1st time it was the best oriental food I've ever had. The seafood was plentiful, fresh and properly cooked The 2nd meal was not great. It wasn't bad, just not the great food we had the 1st time. Since we did a curbside pickup, I can't comment on the atmosphere or ambiance of the restaurant, the service was prompt.

Scott F.

Yelp
Purchased takeout. Food was really good. Looking forward to the next time, and trying something new.

Lauren H.

Yelp
New Fortune is defiantly the best Chinese food in the area! The food is delicious, although on the pricier side for Chinese food. The staff is very friendly, even when just ordering takeout. I personally love the fried rice and the cream cheese ragoons, while my family loves the crab ragoons. I also wanted to give them a major "thank you" for being very allergen friendly. We ordered the egg rolls, but they asked first to confirm if we have any nut allergies (which I do), and told us that they are not allergen friendly. I appreciate them being so aware and making sure their guests are safe. We will defiantly continue to come back!

Barbara M.

Yelp
We had one of the best Chinese meals since the Pandemic began ! We heard that New Fortune was great. We made a reservation and got right in. They have a wonderful full menu with specials. The service was so cheerful! We loved our appetizer of Peking dumplings then shared garlic pork and shrimp low mein. The prices were reasonable. We will make New Fortune a regular on our dinner plans!

Brian M.

Yelp
A solid option for chinese food located right in the heart of downtown Cedarburg. A nicely remodeled interior. If you find yourself "chilled" easily be wary of being seated at one of the tables near the entry. There are two wall vents that blow air pretty steadily into this area. Our servers have been attentive during each of our visits. On our most recent visit it was a little offputting in that it felt we were being rushed through our meal. We ordered dumplings, sizzling rice soup and our entrees. All three came within moments of each other, rather than allowing time to finish one before moving onto the next. As I mentioned "sizzling rice soup", one of my favorite chinese dishes that for reasons unknown to me is just not offered at that many restaurants. The soup here is a mix of chicken, shrimp and vegetables and has great flavor. I would prefer a little more sizzling rice with it, but I'd probably think that with any amount because that's my favorite part. I've enjoyed the crisp taste of the egg rolls. The dumplings however were "meh", take it or leave it experience. The entree portions are generous and each of those we've tried have had pretty good flavor about them. New Fortune is a nice stop for chinese food in a great downtown Cedarburg location.

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
This is the BEST Asian fusion I've ever had. This is a must if coming to Cedarsburg, WI. We'll done everyone!!Everything was outstanding. 5/8/21 Elizabeth F.

Mike W.

Yelp
We dined in here and the service was bad. Our server delivered our food then disappeared. I had to go find someone to give me our check and to get boxes for leftovers. I thought it was pricey and the food was just ok.

Bill R.

Yelp
Not trying to be mean. Sharing our experience with take out service. Ordered three dishes and fried rice. First one was Szechwan Chicken #23 - I should have read the fine print closer. Large serving of celery sliced 1.5" x 0.5" with some white chicken and pepper flakes in a light gravy. Not impressed, expectations did not meet reality. Very few Vegs and over cooked. Second dish was a house specialty # A7 New Fortune Lo Mein. Lots of things listed in the fine print, but hard to find. Large shrimp were not large, vegs were scarce and without crunch. Noodles were very good. Dish #33 Hung Sue Chicken has a generous portion of breaded chicken. Vegs were nicely prepared in a brown sauce but light in quantity. Also ordered vegetable fried rice which was average in my opinion - really white rice fried up with soy sauce and very small pieces of vegetables. Bottom line .... we were hungry. Flavors were not outstanding. Sauces were good. Vegetables were lacking in choice, color and over cooked. Meats were tasty and cooked just right. Too much celery in Sz Chicken, suggest using additional colorful vegetables. Lo Mein needs more colorful ingredients, noodles were good. I will return for another meal but will eat on site and be more selective with choices. Caution, read fine print descriptions of dishes very closely.

Teresa B.

Yelp
My go to pick place in Port Washington is closed due to the covid. I decided to give this place a try as it had good reviews. Not sure if this was an off day but everything was extremely bland. The egg drop soup literally tasted like water, it was also bright orange which was unsettling. I almost mistook it for sweet and sour sauce. The hot and sour soup was not hot (spicy) or sour. I added some white pepper, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and sriracha and it was much better. Cream crease wontons were ok. Chicken Lo Mein was lacking flavor and was congealed into a blob. Moo Shu pork was ok. Kind of bland but I added a lot of plum sauce to give it flavor. The orange beef was actually quite flavorful but lacking in any sort of spiciness. I'm really hoping this was just an off day in the kitchen or perhaps their regular customers prefer the mild light flavors. Worth noting the staff was very friendly and prompt with order taking and responsiveness. My order was ready when they said it would be.

Sara R.

Yelp
The food is amazing! I LOVE their crab Rangoon's, some of the best I've ever had! Plus they have a homemade style got mustard that is KILLER. I highly recommend eating here. Hardworking staff and amazing owners.

Lynne R.

Yelp
We ordered takeout on Saturday night and the food was hot and very good. My husband arrived early to pick up and they offered him drink on the house because he had to wait. Fantastic food and service, we will be regulars!

Scott M.

Yelp
Alright chinese food a little pricey and just alright. It's the only spot right downtown but the joint out by 5 corners is wsy better!

Derek B.

Yelp
Took a walk downtown Cedarburg only to run into a revitalized New Fortune restaurant. I'm new to the area, however I know this joint was in the area once before. Figured my roommate and I would give it a shot for their lunch special. Being that it was Tuesday, I wasn't surprised to see that the place was dead at the end of their lunch hour. And by dead I mean we literally were the only ones there. Service was quick and satisfactory enough however, so no complaints there. I got the chicken with garlic sauce with crab Rangoon as an appetizer. Overall everything was tasty and better than the other choices in the area. With a little more innovation on the menu, new fortune would be on the fast track to five stars!

Great menu, options especially for us vegan/gf peops! They knew right where to steer us, and the recommendations were great. Can't wait to dine- in sometime!
