Update: came here a few times after and this place seriously went down hill. I purchased spoiled fried rice!! Somebody needs to pay me back. Went straight to the garage never again!!! Ordered the usual chicken fried rice roast pork and fried shrimp. I used this place to cater my birthday and they never fail to give me fresh food every time!. I love their shredded cabbage salad with cucumbers I asked for it to packed on the side along with the chicken because I live 2 hours away. They did exactly that excellent customer service from the girl who works there. So sweet you couldn’t ask for a better experience. Not to mention it looks like the place is not full inside, I came on a Monday during lunch and it was packed with guys lol. Now you know that’s a good sign the food is great! Enjoy and keep up the good work’

I’ve been going to this place since it’s been opened and I have to say that I really enjoy the fried rice. I do recommend anyone looking for great service to check this place out. Also they are the only restaurant that I know of that will provide the lunch special deal for the whole entire day. No matter what time you call, you can order the lunch special deals. 01/02/2024- ordered lunch special and found a hair on my chicken. The prices are up now.

The food was excellent. We ordered shrimp fried rice and chicken with broccoli with a side of vegetable fried rice. I am updating my review as of today 12-7-23. Food is still good. The service made me a little disappointed the other night. I was coming home a bit late and of course delivery not an option which was fine. Then you were not allowed to order over the phone for pickup you, had to go in the restaurant then wait there for your food. I am regular customer so it's not like I wouldn't come for my food. I know they have your phone number stored in their system so they know you are not a new customer. I guess it's time to keep looking for other options for the future when coming home late.

I’ve placed an order for pickup and the lady that answered the phone was very rude. She was rushing my order and had an attitude over the phone when I asked her to repeat my order. She should know customers are your first priority. Anyways, about the food the chicken fried rice was not good at all. The rice has no flavor and the pepper sauce & chicken was very salty. I definitely won’t be buying from here again. I’m disappointed!

I’m can’t begin to say how disappointed I’m with my recent order. I’m quite fond of this restaurant until last night’s order. I order a jerk chicken fried rice and while eating we discovered pieces of pork. Aside from that i ordered a mixed chowmein and got Lo mein instead. The instructions even specify to double check to make no beef or pork included with order. Lastly the packaging was also a hot mess.

The spicy chicken wings are good. For the jamaican jerk chicken chow mein. The chow mein is good but there was only a little bit of chicken and the taste was bland. They need to take duck curry off the menu because there was no curry. It was dry and there was more potatoes than duck. Also the duck had no taste.

I was there with a friend having a drink and having conversation when a total stranger- an older guy started arguing with us and wanted to fight. He was clearly inebriated. Instead of addressing the aggressor, the owner instead asked my friend and I to leave. I am never going back to this establishment again.

The location needs refreshing, and the food is entry-level, but the service is good and friendly.

If you want bad service and hair in your food this is the place to go.. My husband placed an order recently only to discover the half of chicken he paid for was missing . Of course we called the restaurant only to speak with an arrogant uneducated rude ingrate called VIDYA. She was nasty and clueless.. we had to repeat ourselves at least 3 times only to be told "I'm just an employee here, the owner isn't around" Reported the establishment to seamless and got our $$ back.. while dishing i out the food we found A disgusting hair wrapped around the chicken broccoli.. my husband called again and who answered the phone ? Arrogant VIDYA.. he explained to her what happened only to be told "I'm just an employee here" here's what the fool didn't know .. she put the earpiece away to tell another employee what happened and used foul language..lucky for her, I got her on tape .. what a moron... because of your Ill mannered and untrained employee I give you zero zero stars.. get rid of her, she's bad for business...

Was very pleased on my recent visit. Ordered their fried rice along with some fried shrimp and both were exceptionally good. I think they just got a new cook as well as new management and they are doing a fine job. The food was amazing. Definitely going to be my to go place from now on ! Update* tried the BBQ chicken today and it was mighty fine

I frequent a lot of West Indian restaurants on a regular basis and this one has pretty delicious cuisine. Their fried rice and lo mein is very authentic and flavorful. From the time you pop the lid, you immediately see the great the texture of the meats and rice are. The vegetable and egg they use is very fresh and gives the food a unique flavor. Based on my knowledge of what family and others have said, the food served here resembles that of a Guyanese style so by eating here will bring back memories of when you were back home. I personally have never visited Guyana so I have no ideas what the food there tastes like but people I know have told me it's really good and that this restaurant makes the fried rice and lo mein just like when they had it back home. I haven't had their curries or other dishes aside from their fried rice and lo mein but if I had to guess, I would say the quality and freshness of them are outstanding as well. I agree that there are West Indian restaurants all over queens, especially at this location and runs along liberty avenue but the question you need to ask yourself is if you really want to eat at just any of them, or you want to eat at one that has quality and outstanding food like this establishment has. Definitely give them a try and you will see for yourself how amazing their food is.

Food was fresh, but that's about it. No flavor; not even salt. I would skip this place.

This place has new management and I'm so happy that things are changing. The food is well worth the money I split it with my boyfriend and we never finish it, the menu has a whole bunch of options more than a lot of Guyanese Chinese places I've been to. Owners daughter is really sweet she gave me a free drink. She also seems like she doesn't play about the upkeep which is great. The bathrooms are way better now. The cook was really sweet also, ran into him once and he seemed warm and friendly. He actually lived in the West Indies and you can taste it in the food not like some other places I visited before. If you like pepper make sure to try their pepper sauce, that thing will put some hairs on ya back. Try it with the jerk if you wanna loose a tongue haha! will be going back, my new favorite spot. 5 stars!

Fast service. Clean environment and fresh and tasty food. Definitely get what you pay for. Hearty portions.

Worse "restaurant" I've ever been to! Not sure what upset me most, the fact that my ordered take out and my order was $6.85 and I paid with a $10 the woman behind the bar $10 and she pocketed my change, or the fact that when someone who was dining in order came out, the waitress who picked it up stopped and asked the other waitresses of they wanted some of his fries before she served them to him. The woman gladly accepted the offer, which prompted the waitress holding the fries to say, "don't take too much, dat is mi boi." Like seriously! You eat off of the customer's plate with your nasty hands which have been handling money and God knows what else. And to think that's the treatment given to a regular customer. I of course spoke up about it and they all gave me death stares as if I was wrong for addressing them about their unprofessional ways. I took my food, gave to a homeless guy on the train, I wasn't taking any chances.

I always order from here. The food is really good & I usually get it within 15 minutes. I'm not gonna lie one time I ordered and there was a piece of dirty rag in my food. I was shook ! That was pretty nasty. The girls who work here don't have the best attitudes but the food is sold at a great price and you get a lot of food!
