New Harmony Cafe

The best new spot in the Mission! Absolutely lovely atmosphere, kind staff and most importantly - a personality. This is no Blue Bottle / Sightglass chain fanfare, this is a real locally-owned, community-supported, well-meaning neighborhood institution. Also the coffee is great! And you can paint on the walls!

A lot of special details go into the food here. For example, the veggie egg sandwich has pickled onions and a unbelievably delicious sauce, in addition to healthy portions of green veggies, all on a buttery, flakey croissant. Hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I also love the colorful artwork on the walls that they invited the community to do. Such a creative, cozy vibe. I understand they have a lot of community events planned.

Awesome cafe! The owners have really thought about how they can have synchronicity between the cafe while honoring the residents and people in the Mission community who have been here for years. They have delicious empanadas and it's a super cool spot for artists and other creatives <3

They make great pasta dishes for takeout now such as penne with pesto sauce and garlic roasted French green beans. Spaghetti with Bolognese, garlic bread, and Greek Salad was delicious too.

The place is amazing, extremely good vibes and original empanadas! Best chips in the neighborhood and good coffee too.
