16 Best Asheville Breweries to Visit Now | Eater Carolinas

"One of the newest kids on the block, New Origin Brewing, sits right down the lonely street from Curses Keme but is still in the heart of the Biltmore Village. The industrial tap room also houses an outdoor beer garden and food trucks with options to bring both kids and dogs. Look for contemporary beers like Focal Point, a Vienna Lager; Drizzle, a milk stout; and Pickles, a New England-style IPA." - Barbara Skidmore

One of two breweries on this street. Great selection of beers. Noticed more stouts in tap here during the summer than other places near by. Tried their Cloud Farm IPA that was delicious. They offer Dot’s Pretzels to purchase inside at the bar and also have a food truck located outside that serves pizza. Inside and outside seating. Outside seating is dog friendly and they also offer lawn chairs to sit in the lawn(see picture). Free parking lots nearby. Plenty of parking.

Maybe my favorite brewery in Asheville, if not a close tie. There were a lot of great choices, but the beers I had were outstanding. Legitimately elite beers. The bartender was really nice and helpful. I tried 7 beers in the 2 hours. Every one of them was very very good. The taproom itself was nice and clean.

Google
Great new addition to Beer City USA. Some of the best craft brews in the area! Nice selection across different styles all well crafted. Comfortable taproom with outside seating, food truck with snacks. Highly recommend for craft beer lovers. Can’t wait to check me back to area and enjoy more. Cheers

I've been coming here for a few weeks now and have to say that this place is awesome. They put a lot of work into the brewery and it looks great. The staff is amazingly friendly and the beers are great! Everything I've had has been great. I'm a big fan of their IPAs but be sure to give the sours a try. Had my first today and I'll be back for those alone.

Cool taproom, enjoy the chairs inside or the grass outside. Friendly beertender. An interesting mix of IPAs, sours and stouts. Apparently someone from Junkyard in MN is involved. They do half and full pours.

Stopped by after going to Regeneration Station which is right behind and also centrally located on the same street of the always amazing Cursus Keme brewery. Great selection of beers and more in the tank coming along each time we’ve been here. Group favorites include the hazy session Green Pulse and the Double New England IPA Cloud Farm. Smaller inside but plenty of seating and great outdoor seating and even a small green space. Overall happy to add another good selection of brews to our area. Cheers!!!

Google
One of my favorite breweries in Asheville. We tried a few stouts, IPAs, and the blueberry sour. They were all great. It’s a small place, but I liked the atmosphere. We will be back.

Google
LOVED the guava sour! It was awesome and not too sweet, which is usually my issue with sours. Patio is nice and spacious! Love that it was dog friendly. Good patio and grass space to hang out. Inside is also super cute!

Yelp
We swung by for their birthday celebration so we caught it on a really good day. They are a brewing company so expect beer. They have a slush that's really good but that's the only option if you're not a beer drinker. The pop ups were fun. There was live music, these delicious pickles, and we got a couple of tattoos from Chuck and Ian of Greenhouse.

Yelp
This brewery is kind of hidden compared to the other cluster of breweries in Asheville, but they're brewing good beers and has a chill vibe. We had a delicious fruited sour and German-style beer. We also sampled a few of their other beers on tap and everything tasted clean. We would've visited this place twice but didn't have enough time! Definitely visit if you have a chance.

Yelp
Smoothie seltzers here are super unique and delicious. Even if you're not a seltzer fan, they're worth a try. Food truck, great music (not live), yard for kids to play in, fire pits for the evening, plenty of shade on the patio. 10/10 highly recommend.

Yelp
Great hangout spot, both inside and out! Beers were just OK, but worth checking out especially when the weather is nice. Plenty of space outside with a variety of seating arrangements including picnic tables, lawn chairs and electric fire pits. Room for kids to run around while parents enjoy a brew or two. Inside is well decorated with high top tables and a small nook with sofa and coffee table. Bonus: the day we visited, there was a pizza truck on-site. Double bonus: parking is plentiful.

Yelp
Located near Curcus Keme this is our second visit we were there mainly here for the birthday cake stout just released. We found the beers to be even better than our first visit if that's even possible. Everything we tried was amazing from the granola lager to the delicious pina colada seltzer. Highly recommend this brewery !

Yelp
One of our favorites but yelp needs to update this post Helene- sadly no longer here. They are collaborating with many local places, check out DSSOLVR for so good options

Yelp
New Origin Brewing is so cute. My husband and I tried samples of the Sharp Cheddar IPA and Oreo Soak to start. They were just okay so we went with a few rounds of the Pop-It Robot sour which was so good. They do have beer available to-go so we left with a four pack. Cheers!

Yelp
I love the seltzers and the beers. The outdoor area is perfect for drinkers, kids, and doggies. The beertenders are always fast and nice. My favorite beer is the the mexican lager- el crispo. And the best seltzer ever created is the colada bubbles, which I believe has a serious following.

Yelp
Delicious beer, cool decor and great all around vibe! A hidden gem that needs to be found!

Yelp
Modern vibe, really nice furniture, chill atmosphere, nice grassy area that is dog friendly, great beer, and half pours are offered! Parking is easy, and there's a water spout for both humans and dogs to fill up cups/bottles/bowls.

Yelp
Easy parking in this new brewery on the edge of Asheville. Great new-wave industrial vibe and the beer was excellent. Relaxed outdoor setting. Had both a gose and stout and both were very, very good. Great place to check out.

Yelp
Really love the ambiance here. Very laid back, well decorated. The brewery seems to be a true microbrewery, with 12 taps at a time. The IPAs were decent but all very rich and hazy. Other beers fair but not overly memorable. Solid food truck on side of building that serves tamales. Branding and merchandise superb.

Yelp
We happened upon this spot by accident looking for Cursus Kreme brewery but it is so lovely. Great variety of brews, beautiful atmosphere, and cool vibe. This is a great place to grab a drink and relax, catch up on some work, or meet up with friends. A little remote but worth the trip!

Yelp
Yay for East Asheville breweries! I hope New Origin lasts a long time. Great beers, great spot, and great location!

Yelp
These guys take great pride in their brews. Cool little hidden gem in Asheville. Awesome addition to the Asheville beer scene.

Yelp
Fantastic beer with a fun family friendly patio area. I would highly recommend a visit here while in Asheville.

Yelp
The New England IPAs were great. They have cans to go. Outdoor seating like most places. Tons of parking. A tad of merch. The sours were decent. I think it's better than the place down the road actually. I'd go back.

Matthew G.

Yelp
Best seltzers and pizza truck on point. Great spot. Bring folding chairs for the grass area if it's a nice day!

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
A nice place to hangout with friends. Great easy going atmosphere. No food but there is a pizza truck outside. Service was good but can be a bit slow at times due to only one person being behind the counter most times.

Matt F.

Yelp
Awesome rotation! Really enjoying their winter beer selection. Unique atmosphere and cozy outdoor fireplace seating.

Todd R.

Yelp
Great beer, but only one beer tender on a Saturday. 20 + deep standing around trying to get a beer and a beer tour van group on top of it!
