I've been twice now and ordered similarly both times, just to be sure of consistency. Both burgers were very well prepared and the condiments were exactly what I wanted. Fries were well prepared and fresh. Polite service during both visits; clean tabletops; orderly condiment bar; organized and friendly. I don't need to eat more burgers but I do enjoy this place. So it'll be my go-to for when I must indulge.

I stopped by New York burger after I visited the highline area. I ordered the Double Bacon 1000 burger and Double Cheeseburger. I added a combo which included fries and soda. You save $2 on the soda (you pay $1 instead of $3) if you do the combo. They have a large condiments bar with various sauces (BBQ, New York burger) and pickle(s). The burger (burger was a little overcooked) and fries were okay. My biggest complaint was they turned off the air conditioner shortly after I sat down. It was a hot day, so it became warm quickly and my clothing smelled like burgers afterwards.

They make a good burger but at their price point it's hard to recommend. As much as we complain about McDonald's you can still get a decent medium combo for the price of a single burger here. If you don't mind splurging then this is a good place. However there are cheaper and better options elsewhere.

Came in mid-day for lunch - the burger was OK - exactly what you'd expect out of a burger spot - nothing memorable but not bad at all. There is a lot of seating and the wait is reasonable. The ambiance is very casual.

Was in need of a small bite after baseball practice. Decided to come here as it was on my way home and I've had their yummy tater tots before. Got the kids meal - 5 tenders and tater tots (instead of fries) for $8. Everything seemed to be freshly made behind the counter. You order ahead and they give you a number to put on your table so they can bring out the food. Plenty of seats available including outdoors although I did go at an odd time (5pm).

Never had a bad meal from here. Love the burgers and tator tots from here. They also offer a variety of self serve sauces that make the food so much better. One of my favorite take out burger spots in New York.

Learn how to make a chopped cheese. The cheese gets chopped up with the meat, it does not just get placed on top. Overpriced.

Order through Grubhub. The order is late, and when I called the manager, and I couldn't understand what he said. He immediately hung up. I didn't understand what he said, so I called back and he was even more rude. His response to me was, I told you the order is on its way! And then he hung up The food might be good, but the customer service leaves a very bad aftertaste in anyone's mouth. Update: I decided to give them another chance, and order from them again. And I got a very long hair in my food... Fellas, please wear hats or hair nets while you're working. This is disgusting.

They have the best chicken fingers and fries. The service is fast. This is a fast food place not somewhere you want to come and sit for lunch.

The second star is being generous and really because I didn't hate it to the level of places I have given only one star to. But let's just keep it simple. If really disgustingly greasy burgers, with equally disgusting fries served in a rather dirty, greasy and disgusting "dining room" with condiments that are unsanitarilly left out for people to grab with their fingers and dirty hands sounds delicious and appealing than this is your place for sure. If good tasting and fresh food served in a clean environment with condiments that are kept in a safe and fresh manner than this is not the place for you. My advice ... run, fast to anywhere else.

Well after walking into two different restaurants where we couldn't be seated we walked into this place. I remember it post COVID as being one of few places open and I remember good food and service. I opted for Cobb Salad. For $9 it's amazingly good. Even though it's barefoot wine , the Cabernet was adequate as my friend and I dined on this warm fall day for under $20. Sorry about pic. I ordered the chicken n cheese burger, chopped cheese fries Someone mentioned the condiments are out in the open but like....so are the sauces in many other places. There are definitely more sketchy places than this one Pro: -This place is greasy af. Like don't come here if you didn't go to the gym before hand. It's what makes it so good -many condiments and pickles -the chopped cheese fries are loaded af -the burger is delicious and the sauces really take it over the top especially the chipotle honey -I like the casual ambience -because it is heavy it makes you feel full so you eat less? I came from the gym after skipping breakfast and only ate half the fries and burger Con: -the drink machine lags hard -the fried chicken definitely needs way more salt and pepper in the breading but the sauces can help make up for it but if there's no sauce it's lacking

First time in. The plain cheeseburgers are juicy. All the elements are there for a great burger. You have to doctor it up after the fact, but they provide you with an extensive condiment bar. I didn't receive exactly what I ordered, but I received what I paid for. I asked for chili cheese fries with but was rung up for fries with a side of cheese. Which was also prepared well. It's a comfortable place to eat. It's clean with a lot of tables and chairs. Being a lone diner I was glad that there was counter top seating so I didn't have to take up a whole table. Overall, I think it's a decent burger that's upgradable. The fries are fresh tasting and it's a well lit dining experience. I think the cooks are great, but the communication upon ordering needs improvement. Simple as start with a clear greeting, offering suggestions, and repeating the order before ending the customer transaction. Would eat here again. Looking forward to trying a different menu item and trying the chili fries.

It smells like pure smoke in there. The ventilation is poor and you come out of there smelling like food for days. The burgers, fries and mozzarella sticks are terribly bad. The "cheese" on the fries taste like pure salt and the mozzarella sticks should be named something else cause they do not taste like cheese. It just taste like a stick of salt fries in old oil. It's time to shape up. Went to the art galleries around there and had to settle for eating there. I thought I couldn't go wrong by having a cheeseburger but even that's bad. Also, I got charged extra for food items they thought I ordered. They even messed that up. Go to McDonald's.

Bacon 1000 Burger it's so tasty! The 1000 sauce it's delicious, and the fries are just right. The variety of sauces made me excited to try them all. Highly recommend it good food on a low budget.

This place used to be good. Biw they fry the burgers now like McD. McD has more flavor though as it's seared both sides. Pass on this place.

I got the double burger and fries. The fries are very average and nothing special. I got the burger With pepper jack cheese and it tastes fresh and was filling. I would say everything was pretty average though and not special but the price point was fairly high With me spending $18 for the food. There are much better options for cheaper in my opinion.

I really enjoyed myself here! I came with a HUGE group (about 20) with no advance notice and the staff was able to get us all served without any hitches. They're a great team! I got the saucy burger- it was aptly named. It was a saucy and juicy burger. My favorite type! They have a sauce bar as well with a ton of different toppings. I tried all of their sauces and the two winners for me were the New York Burby sauce and the chipotle honey. I also really loved their fries. The restaurant seemed a little run down when we went- the tables were a bit sticky, there wasn't any water, and their TV menus were down. But I think it was just an off morning. Our church comes here often and we always love it. It's a fast, affordable, and tasty burger option. I'd recommend!

The food tasted great but the service was a bit rude an inattentive. I was waiting 5 minutes to get my order in and the food took a while to come out. Would come here in a hurry and needed a bite but not as something that to go out of my way for.

Ambience = 10/10 Food = 8/10 Service = 9/10 Walked right into the restaurant, and ordered a Cheeseburger, Fries, and a Drink (Which cost me 18$s). They took the food to my table, within about 7-10 minutes. Burger was perfectly cooked, fries were great as well. They also have a condiments station with everything from 1000 Island to Ranch to BBQ. Overall, a bit pricey, but great place for a quick bite!

Got just a normal cheeseburger and this is honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life 5/5. Pretty cheap compared to what you would get from some random fancy restaurant and fast service.

Solid spot for a quick bite. Came on a Sunday around 5pm and saw that there was plenty of seating available. Ordered off the kids menu and got the Mini Burger which comes with fries. This burger was so tiny and adorable. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good. When dining in there is this long lineup of sauces which I went to town on for the fries. Glad I got to try this place!

Good, fast food burgers! I had The Classic Burger and a side of fries. The house sauce on the burger was really good. Everything tasted great. There wasn't a line, and there's plenty of indoor seating.

Really solid, good quality burgers. So tired of the smash burger trend. Far too thin and greasy. NY Burger Co's burgers are a perfect size and always cooked to order. The condiment bar and their salads are excellent, too.

Love their waffle fries, like their sweet potato fries, would pass on the onion rings and regular fries. Tons of sauce options and I've liked most if not all of the ones I've tried (NY Burger Sauce, basil pesto, chipotle honey). Service is always fast and accurate.

We have been here before and enjoyed their salmon burger. Maybe we got here too late 820pm on a Tuesday but was disappointed on this visit; - Had a double salmon burger and I am not asking for much but I expect a good size lettuce piece and that was not the case here - My friend had their Turkey burger and it was super dry and again - zero garnishing - And Do takeout only after 8pm as justifiably the staff needs to start picking up before their 9pm closing Bottom line, this was a great burger place with an excellent location So please do burgers right and don't be cheap in tbe garnishing because lettuce, tomato and onions make it a burger And please have ketchup, mustard and mayo ready available for customers And I did not need to use them but what is the sign in the bathrooms saying "only for employees"? So not for customers? We were very excited to go back to this place, so very disappointed that it's not as good as it used to be But hopefully their management is reading these reviews and brings it back to the quality burger place that it used to be

Great burgers and fries here. The quality of the fresh beef is evident in the rich flavors. Fries are standard, but tasty. Free refills. The thing that really sets this place apart is the many sauces available for your fries or burger. My favs and ones that are hard to find elsewhere is the pesto sauce and spicy ketchup. Seating is indoors and outdoors with windows often opened too. Makes for great people watching on the busy avenue....many hotties ;) Only real downside is the burgers have recently shrunk down to half the original size. The prices have stayed the same. I'm forgiving though with the inflation situation.

Man did this place change owners during the pandemic? I came out of nostalgia because this place was slamming a few years ago. I ordered a sloppy burger and wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. Red flag for any beef spot. The extra onion topping wasn't chopped and also burnt. My patty was puck hard but I guess the bun was aight. Better than McDonald's but man for $10.83 a burger I'm expecting better than this, do better NY Burger y'all were good.

I tried their chicken burger for the first time today while in town and it was fantastic. The service was great as well with the friendly staff and the ambiance was just what I expected out of what was a local place. Welcoming and inviting. (The burgers are a bit pricey though so I wouldn't recommend if you're on a tight budget) 5 stars, would eat a chicken sandwich here again.

Some of the best burgers around the area always made to order fresh the way you like it they have plenty of seating area fresa refills on drinks and they have a great sauce station to choose from personally I have the maple Dijon sauce with some sweet potato fires trie cheese burgers are juicy and big definitely get your money worth

Came here to use the restroom but didn't want to be those people who use the facilities without patronage so we ordered some onion rings to share. I was hungry anyway so it worked out two-fold. The rings were great! Lightly battered and fried to a nice crisp and I love me a grand selection of dipping sauces! I almost wished we were hungry enough to order meals. Next time.

I visited this business before the pandemic and loved it. So when I went yesterday I had high hopes. While I thought the burger tasted good. The cost was ridiculous for what I received. A cheeseburger and sweet potato fries was $14.04. Which seems quite high, even for NYC!!! The portion size was also quite small. If ur not so hungry this place maybe perfect for you!

The burgers were okay here. Not bad but not the best. My friend and I got the Spicy Pimento burger and a Spicy Chicken sandwich that had mozzarella cheese. The burger was pretty solid but it was missing some flavor. The chicken sandwich was good though! It tasted like chicken parmigiana between buns but with a little spice. We ordered a side of fries as well which were nice and crispy.

Service is WILDLY rude. Never again. Food is mediocre at best. Overpriced. Ambiance is thick with grease. Happy they had an outdoor space.

Wouldn't let me use the bathroom. People will buy more if you treat them like ppl. You are the only public bathroom in the area. Don't be a jerk. And workers how about u give out the code and we tip u? Why are we all treating each other so badly? I will never eat here. There are plenty of other places to get burgers.

Got the burger with chicken bacon and steak and it was just ok. I personally feel like the burger would've been better without the chicken, as it was cooked too dry. Also, the entire burger was so thick it was almost impossible to get a bite with all 3 meats! The bread also felt soggy. If I ever come back will definitely try something else.

First, before I Say anything, This food is DELICIOUS. They have fair pricing, sometimes can be a bit expensive but worth it. Their food is always fresh and hot. They have a instagram follower counter in the center that is live, tried it out and it's pretty cool. They give you a table number when you are dining in and have a bar on the left side. 10/10 Restaurant and their service is great!

Best impossible vegan burger I've ever had in a long long time. I tried the impossible classic and it was only 10 dollars and it came with fries as well. The burger was really quick and the sauce bar was a great addition to the ambiance of the place.

Needed some grub for a late lunch and decided getting a burger delivered to work was in need. Looked at the menu and ordered the spicy pimento burger and it was absolutely amazing! Was flavorful and juicy which had 2 patties, pimento cheese, and onion rings. Portion size is pretty big and will definitely fill you up! Big fan now and will have to make a pit stop to their brick and mortar location for another burger at some point! Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fulfilling burger in the area!

With all the other Manhattan New York Burger Company (NYBC) locations all closed up (yeah it bums me out also), at least we have this gorgeous restaurant left in the bustle of Chelsea and right off the 23rd Street High Line entrance/exit. With its fine dining style interior, this location is unlike any other NYBC that you may have been to in the past. Other NYBC locations really felt like a fast food experience, with their huge menu boards and industrial tables; but this 10th Avenue one is in a trendy section of town, with a very cozy, neighborhood fit to it! You still step up to the ordering area and choose from the overhead menu, but your food is now delivered to your table without someone screaming your number and you having to return up to the serving area - which is a great change from how the other locations were. Again, it's most likely a function of the trendy area and a nice touch for being the only location left for workers to focus on. Look, I'll shamelessly admit that I will forever love NYBC because it has the best onion rings in town; they are made to order, they are in fact real onion rings inside, and the batter fries up into a deliciously light & flaky crust on each of those real-deal onions! Simply a masterpiece of an onion ring, I would be thrilled to dine here just for those if nothing else! The wait for your fresh burger to be prepared is always worthwhile, because NYBC makes a great burger. The meat is never frozen, the condiments of veggies are always fresh looking, and you have a wide variety of sauces to dress up your burger however you see fit. NYBC truly serves artisanal, hand-crafted burgers that compete a couple leagues above that of Five Guys but at very similar prices! Something new I discovered on my visit the other day: the "Chicken 'N Cheeseburger" - a sandwich sent from the gods in heaven: a fresh cheeseburger, stacked with a thick spicy fried chicken filet, thick juicy slices of smoked bacon, pickles, and topped with chipotle honey sauce! OMG this sandwich + onion rings truly elevates your NYBC visit to an entire new level! Sorry I can't really speak of the fries, the standard side item, because I never look backed from discovering the phenomenal onion rings! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If there is one place that I look forward to most while in NYC, it truly is NYBC! This is always my the last stop of each NYC visit, so I can fill up the tummy with goodness for the trip home. My other peeps have turned into NYBC believers whenever they came with me, and I think you will too when you decide to give this place a shot! PS to NYBC: If New Yorkers aren't taking care of keeping you in business, then would you please just move to Philly and become our own Philadelphia Burger Company?!!

If your looking for a juicy, delicious, and great tasting burger, come to New York Burger in Chelsea! Once there, open the Google Maps app and type in "burgers." It will lead you to a plethora of nearby options that invariably exceed the taste of NY Burger! Indeed, you will almost certainly be paying less than this filthy and disgusting place. Besides the guy behind the line's filthy shirt, the nasty smell of garbage piling up, the burger was a greasy mess; the fries were lukewarm and as playable as two week old asparagus, the horseradish mayo tasted as if it were diluted, and the low quality meat was simply awful. If you're a fellow burger eater, Shake shack, and Smash burger both provide 3-4 times better taste at lower cost. For crying out loud, I have had better McDonalds burgers! Given the super high prices, how these food workers and restaurant owners have any self-respect making this type of food and taking cash from hard-working New Yorkers escapes me. Don't be deceived by the Yelp photos (in fact, I would not be surprised if some of these were a photoshoot), I will never come back to this place! Trust me, if you avoid this place, you will thank me!

Excellent customer service. Cashier was very friendly and efficient, food came quickly and was delivered to the table. Burger was good - a bit messy with the sauce but flavor made up for it. I want crazy about the tater tots. This was my first time trying the impossible burger. I have to say that I am more of a Beyond Meat fan- this has nothing to do with this place though. I think next time I would order a regular burger here or another menu item. The salads looked good as well. Great spot for a quick bite. Kudos again to the staff

Great burger, the meat was super juicy and the island sauce is great! I didn't have their fries, but I went for the onion rings (BEST DECISION EVER)..they are very crunchy and not heavily buttery fried as in many other places.

Came here on a Saturday for lunch around 2pm. There was no line and the food came out pretty quickly. Burger: Black bean burger - I liked the multigrain bread, but the patty itself was only okay, kinda dry. Price was decent though. Fries: nothing out of the ordinary. Overall the place was clean, the employees are nice, but my burger was only okay. My review is not on a beef burger though so maybe those are better. Wouldn't go outta my way to come here but isn't bad if you're in the area.

Best salmon burger of all time. 100000000/10. Delicious Grilled filet and not ground salmon, which is so hard to find for salmon burgers. Perfect. PLEASE NEVER CHANGE

I've made more memories in Burger Co than I can count. It's a little bit expensive, but 100% worth it. The vegan options are all delicious and I've never had such a good veggie patty at a burger place before. Salads taste fresh and fries are crisp! I love burger co

I order pretty often from this spot.. the cooks are great, ( excellent ), but the front of the house, (the order takers) are always messing up orders. They don't follow instructions properly..They got tipped not deserving with bad customer service!

Wonderful burger place with good vegan burger! It's really big and filling compared to other vegan burgers and you can get it in a combo with fries and a drink. The service is quick too- I came here as a part of a promotion and was thoroughly pleased. Very instagrammable food!
