Went here during the holidays season. The cafe is beautiful inside. Customer Service: friendly service and good conversation. While they have many choices to choose from I had the Caraml Latte with 1 shot of espresso small. It was thick and tasty made with love Taste: the flavor was rich and taste of nutty coffee with a bit of sweetness. I'd recommend this place. I'll come back for some bagels next time.

Great bagels fast service good coffee best selection of spreads I’ve see in most bagel shops. And I am a Connoisseur. Pictured is my favorite spread. Cream cheese with Kalamata olives and feta cheese. Add a sliced tomorrow. Heaven!!!

Huge bagel (and I ordered a small). Massive selection of cream cheese flavors and all the bagel types you would ever want. Avocado toast was bit and tasty, nice on a hot day. Egg sandwich was good though too much cream cheese for my preference. Eggs were not seasoned but flavored cream cheese made up for the flavor. Lox bagel was a hit and the nutella bagel won't be forgotten. Ordered online for pick up which was ready when we arrived.

Very good new York bagels! A must stop if you're visiting. Coffee was delicious as well. Great selection of bakery items ( bagels, cookies etc). Wide variety of cream cheeses including non dairy.

Used to enjoy this place until they recently skyrocketed their prices more than 50%. Their mid-tier bagels that used to be $3 are now $5+ (w plain cc), just as an example. In no world should this be acceptable. My latest 2 bagel order for almost $15 will be my last.

I love the bagels and service here and today was no exception. They have so many options to choose from and its exciting to know that their bagels are baked on the premises. Service is great and the ambiance is chill/laid back. There is dim lighting in the dining area so you feel relaxed. There is also outdoor seating all year round. They also have a.wonderful selection selection of cookies, cakes, and pies which I have not tried yet but looking forward to it one day.

I had everything bagel with tofu cream cheese ($4.10), it was huge and very delicious! The bagel itself was a little too salty for my taste, but the cream cheese was 5 stars. They have a lot of breakfast options savory and sweet. Huge variety of bagels and spreads. Friendly and patient customer service. Good vibes, plenty of space to sit (indoors and outdoors).

Great service! Bagel looks amazing!! Ambiance is clean and calm, great for sitting and enjoying a quiet breakfast meal. They forgot my order tho, so had to wait extra 10 minutes for it to be done

The manager was walking out and joked with us about making up our minds about what to order :) Random: but he's got really great looking teeth! Bagels here are just as incredibly delicious as ever. I'll gladly pay $7.50 for an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and lox. Came early on a Saturday morning and the place was bumping. Lots of people and a long line, but the employees are efficient, friendly and keep the line moving. Fresh brewed coffee is also sooo good! 10/10 recommend

This place has been a favorite spot of my girlfriend's for a very long time, and I see way. There's so much to love about NYBCH. They have excellent quality bagels (and a large assortment), excellent quality spreads (and a large assortment, great coffee drinks, and even some sleeper hits like their quiche. On top of all that, they usually have plenty of seating if you want to relax and stay awhile. If the weather is nice, they even have a great outdoor seating area, too! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in Queens. Also, be sure to get some of their quiche. It may actually be the best quiche I've ever eaten.

Recommend the Everything bagel with cream cheese or cheddar jalapeño cream cheese. The turkey bagel sandwich is also splendid. Enjoyed so much we went back and reordered both again! Plus, bought a dozen+ to bring home.

Yummy and delicious what a great gem in the area. With a large variety of classic bagels sprinkled with some seasonals and even more cream cheese options ie - jalapeno bacon, blueberry, cannoli, strawberry, etc...for any delicious combo and even lox, tuna fish and chicken salad spreads. And if you want to try some of their suggested combos go for it all yummy. Family friendly, dog friendly all welcomed by the friendly staff in a space with tables or a bar overlooking the bagels. Great for grabbing on the go or taking a seat and enjoying your meal. Gulp it down with your choice of coffees or fresh squeezed orange juice. Can't go wrong here!

Solid 4.5 stars - a good bialy toasted with veggie schmear. Bialy was nicely seasoned with mild notes of garlic. Definitely hits the spot. They also have plenty of tables to sit!

We were looking for something to eat and walked past this place and it was very busy around 11am on a Sunday morning, but not busy enough where we could not get a table. The menu is large. There is a lot on it and it's honestly kind of hard to look at/read. I'm not sure if that is a pro or a con. I just got an everything bagel with lox schmear. I thought the bagel itself was good. I appreciated a not overly salty everything seasoning. The cream cheese was good but not my favorite thing ever. I liked that they piled it on heavy but it also makes for a really messy eating experience. I also got an iced latte and I will be honest it just wasn't good. I rarely get a latte and go "wow I can't finish this," but unfortunately that happened to me here. I'd say skip the coffee.

This is my favorite breakfast spot especially on the weekends! My go to is always blueberry muffin at least once a week but their bagels, breakfast wraps and fresh squeezed orange juice are so good! They have the absolute best blueberry muffin and I've tried a lot of places. For $3.75, the muffin is a nice size, full of blueberries and so fresh. Definitely worth it! And when I can't stop by this location, I can just go to the one on 30th avenue.

Bagel was soft, chewy, and fresh. I'll be Uber critical and say I wish the outside was a little crisper. The chives cream cheese was delicious. The salmon was nice and thinly cut. Coffee was good but nothing amazing. The ambiance is nice and comfortable and the employees were great. 8/10.

Almost a fiver for me. Based the reviews of the one item I got which was onion bagel with lox and bean cheese plus capers. Pretty good overall. Lots of lox. Just the right amount of cream cheese, not too much or too little. But the toasting wasn't good. It wasn't hardly toasted at all. Perfect means crispy outside and soft inside. So close though! Cuz it tasted really good.

Discovered this place just walking and in and I'm glad I did, lots of vegan options so I got the vegan blueberry croissant and wow so good and warm and delicious, then I had a MINI sesame bagel with tofu scallion cream cheese and they respected the shmear! Tatsy and hefty amount! Staff was friendly and the place had nice decor nice menus and seats. I will definitely be back for more vegan items and to try the many drinks they offer.

We've ordered from here twice so far and it's worth it. The bagels are so fresh! I got an egg and cheese with peppers, onion and tomato. Truly one of the best I've ever had. The bagel is nice and soft. The latte is really good too. Their service is quick for delivery. While I haven't been there in person yet, I'm very happy with their orders and would love to visit in person.

This bagel shop includes "pork roll" as a menu option, which is fairly unusual for NYC. As a Jersey boy, I decided to give the pork roll breakfast sandwich a try. Instead of pork roll, I received a stack of thinly sliced deli ham. Deli ham is not even remotely close to pork roll. If you don't sell pork roll, take it off the menu. Otherwise, it seems like a scam against New Yorkers who might not know any better. Be forewarned, Astoria.

The bagels are large and delicious and soft. It was great to have different tuna options since I like the Italian tuna salad as it has less mayo and nice spices. I like the atmosphere and music as it is very relaxing. The service was great and delivered quickly. I wish I could get one every day for lunch!

My friends live nearby and we decided to have a little picnic in their courtyard when I came to visit. Here I had my first egg everything bagel and I don't think I can go back to just regular everything bagels now. I got an egg and cheese sandwich and it was made perfectly. Bagel was chewy, the bodega-style egg didn't make a mess, and my hands weren't all sticky after eating the bagel. It's clear why my friends are regulars. We took our food to go, but they had a lot of table space for people doing work.

Stopped in on a Saturday morning for a bagel and was glad that I did! The whole wheat everything was soft, and even after being toasted still had that melt in your mouth type of taste. The perfect bagel to cream cheese ratio-even though these bagels are on the larger size. Quick service and delicious food - exactly what you hope for from a bagel spot!

I have a love hate relationship with this spot mainly because they are very inconsistent. Some days, this place has some of the BEST bagels - perfect bagel, eggs and all. But sometimes, the bagel is really tiny and cold with unmelted cheese on the eggs - a disaster... Same for their coffee, it is really good for a bagel shop sometimes but some other days it tastes like cardboard. I wish they're more consistent so I can give them the 5 stars they deserve on their good days.

This is upon my return. I came to Astoria two weeks ago. Had another bagel. I can't exactly remember what time I'm almost thinking it was an egg bagel with sausage and egg and cheese. Amazing. Their bagels are kettle boiled. I also had an iced chai tea... And here they're pretty consistent and efficient in getting people out the door. They're super busy though so. Have a good one.

The Ham and Cheese Quiche here is thiccc and decadent!!! Very creamy, rich and loaded with ingredients! Very flavorful with combination of different textures from all the ingredients. Just a little bit too salty for my liking though (I do have a lower saltiness tolerance level to be fair.)

The bagels are to die for! They are a true New York City Bagel! The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and huge! The atmosphere is charming and a great place to meet a friend and catch up or to go if in a hurry. The coffee is excellent as well.

I had a bagel with cream and a coffee.The bagel was fresh with plenty of cream cheese and the coffee was just what I needed to start my morning. Not crowded at all, they did give me the option to pay a little extra if I made a payment with my card but I paid in cash not much difference really.

I come here very often. Almost every weekend. The ambiance inside is beautiful and they also have outdoor dining. They have the freshest bagels in Astoria. I always get the French Toast bagel toasted . The bacon egg & cheese is great -- but beware -- will cost you $10. It's worth it though. Coffee is good. You order at the cashier and they call the number on your receipt to pick up. Always busy but line moves fast and is organized. They have a couple of locations but this one happens to be my favorite.

Came here on a Saturday morning and while the place was pretty busy and there was a slight line, service was super quick and the time between ordering our food and getting it was literally less than five minutes. Super efficient! I tried the green Thai tea as I've never heard of it before and wasn't disappointed with the flavor, although I do wish they had an iced version of the drink. Overall though, I enjoyed it! The bagels were pretty fantastic and really hit the spot. I can see why the place was so busy - the cream cheese tasted super fresh and the bagels were filling and delicious with all the right texture. Everything was reasonably priced as well. Thanks for a great breakfast, New York City Bagel & Coffee House! If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back!

Sadly, I was under the impression they used real fruit in the peach pear apricot smoothie but it's all ice and food coloring that they pump into the drink. I won't be returning here.

There are many bagel shops in NYC and what are you doing if you visit this beautiful city and don't stop and grab a bagel? But this place stands out above them all. The service was an excellent display of the beautiful people of New York. And the food was... out of this world. Never had a bagel that good before or since then. I ordered the bagel with Salmon it in! The part that stood out the most to me what was that I was 4-5 months pregnant and didn't think to ask to have the salmon cooked all the way. I came back to ask if they could heat up the fish and they joyfully made me a new one that I could enjoy!! They will take great care if you hear and fill you will scrumptious food. They are also have a very clean bathroom.

I am just a big fan of this place. Consistantly good and quick. Frapps always perfect too.

Hey *waves* come here and let me whisper something between you and me!!! Don't tell no one. Listen this place a a gem I been keeping to myself BUT I'm ONLY telling you because we are friends!! ORDER from here if u can't get there by train bus or automobile!! This place makes me feel like I'm home all the way over here in Texas!! They have the BIGGEST bagels and the BEST ASSORTMENT..... listen friend ... would I lie to u? You know me better than that!! 1... they are fresh. 2 ... they get to u quick 3 ... reasonable price (trust me) 4... huge bagels 5... OF COURSE THEY TASTE DELICIOUS friend. Come on I got your back!! 6 plus they have a mind blowing selection I'm telling you ... once you go New Yorker baby... you NEVER go back to an average bagel!! Bite one of these and pour yourself a nice cup of coffee and think to yourself... SELF... this was the BEST decision I made... now don't forget this is between you and me friend lol. Tried the bagels because I heard they make a decent bagel. Yes they do. They have mini bagels (= normal size), regular size bagels (= larger size) and flat bagels (= flagels). I ordered a dozen of the mini bagels. You get an extra so it's a baker's dozen. The choices are: plain, cinnamon raisin, whole wheat, sesame, and everything. There are a lot more choices if you want the regular size bagels. The bagels are chewy on the outside and soft on the inside. The servers are all very friendly and nice. I gave them an extra 1/2 star because they even offered to slice the bagels for me without me asking. I like that.

Best bagels in the world are here. They are MASSIVE but delicious. They have "mini" ones which are basically regular bagels. Sun dried tomato cream cheese is the best one they've got. Staff is always incredibly nice. Wi-Fi wasn't working the other day and they went above and beyond to fix it. Whenever I go back home to visit (I'm out of state now), this is basically my #1 spot to visit. Ambiance is very nice too. Just wish they had some more outlets.

This is a great spot for a quick bite and as a bagel sandwich lover, I was so happy with the variety of breakfast bagels they offered here. I ordered the greek feta omelet sandwich on an everything bagel. It was very filling and also very reasonably priced (around $9), and the sandwich was massive and toasted nicely. I also ordered an almond milk latte on the side. The worker was very friendly, and I didn't have to wait too long for my orders either. The restaurant also had a ton of indoor seating and natural light which made it a great spot to eat while getting some work done. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area for a cheap and delicious bite!

Awesome bagels and bagel sandwiches. I ordered the cream cheese and lox. Everything was fresh and delicious. Line can be chaotic but they try their best to stay organized. Great neighborhood spot!

New York City bagels... there's nothing quite like them. And the bagels from New Yew City Bagel & Coffee House are certainly true to the name. I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, tomato and onion (my go-to as of late) and I savored every last morsel. You ever get a small bagel and feel absolutely jipped? Well you get the exact opposite feeling here. My bagel was huge, perfectly doughy and absolutely delicious. Space wise, the store is quite larger and well-designed, with plenty of seating both indoor and outdoors. While it was my first time here, it will certainly not be my last!

THIS IS A MUST STOP!! The costumer service here was incredible!! They are not shy with the cream cheese. The bagels are so airy and delicious. I would recommend this place for sure. It's a great atmosphere and the coffee is tasty.

My cat makes a better quiche. The consistency of the eggs was that of mashed potatoes. The crust was soggy. The cheese was like a thin film of idk what! Yea this was really bad. Couldn't eat, still starving and just waited for 2hrs to receive the food.

A chain local to Astoria with 3 locations around the neighborhood. NYCBCH is my go-to when I'm too lazy to make breakfast and need a hearty sausage egg and cheese. Their bagels are usually really good, but I won't claim that they're the best. Like most other spots, they have a creative assortment of cream cheese flavors. They also serve coffee and pastries, and don't sleep on their orange juice, which I believe is freshly squeezed. They have wifi and indoor and outdoor seating. On good weather days, they open up the window-walls, making this a beautiful spot for well-ventilated socializing or chilling on Broadway.

This is such an upset experience. I order one iced mocha and one wrap and one western omelette. They missing my order and take 25 mins to come out. I have 8 orders after me already got the food before me. Somehow I found that they missing my order without any apology. No one willing to take responsibility or brother to check.

Good food .. not the best service - lots of chatter and personal talking between employees. Bagels aren't as fresh. Music hip vip hard seating not very comfortable. But bigger then normal dining area.

Nice place to go for fresh bagels in the city. Welcoming dining area with wooden theme decor, still fairly clean and modern. As for portions, the mini bagels are similar sized to something found at a grocery store or mainstream cafe, while the regular bagels are about 1.5x the size. Looking for a light second breakfast, I went with the mini everything with fresh lox and cream cheese. There is a price jump from $2-3 for a bagel with nothing to about $11-12. Though a generous amount of smoked salmon, and cream cheese isn't excessive.

I absolutely love this place. I've ordered breakfast delivery with my friends (and family) several times - and each time has been great. The coffee is good, and the bagels are great too. My friend always gets the matcha smoothie and loves it. My 5 year old had her first rainbow bagel and loved it. Definitely a great place with reasonable prices.

Nice place. Before walking in there is a kiosk that takes your temperature before entering. The ambiance is nice. Light fixtures are gorg, ample seating indoor and a few tables and stools out front. The lines move quickly and so does your order, I got my bagel in 5mins! Ive always wanted to try the rainbow bagel (its not sweet) i got that with veggie cream cheese and my boyfriend got the lox bagel on plain. The bagels were hard. Not enjoyable but I am willing to give something else a try.

The food is amazing, Jalapeño Cheddar bagel is slamming. The restaurant itself is gorgeously decorated and well-lit, has plenty of space and seating, and the employees are friendly and welcoming. They have cold cuts and make deli sandwiches, there is quiche, an insane amount of variety in cream cheeses and toppings - this place is stellar.

My friends who live up here rave about this place, and I had to give it a try. The menu is overwhelmingly large so anyone and everyone is welcome. The space is warm and inviting. I went at a strange time so I was in and out of there pretty fast. I tried the everything bagel toasted with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese. The everything bagel had seasoning on both sides so you didn't miss one thing in a bite. It was HUGE! I was starving so I ate the whole thing, but it could easily be shared. The bagel had a perfect consistency - crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The cream cheese was fluffy and fresh. I'm glad I stopped by.

I came here specifically for the gluten free bagel. They have a few locations and I was on the hunt for a good bagel. I came in here and placed an order for a plain gluten free bagel with vegetable cream cheese, toasted. I ended up getting a small, dense flavorless overpriced bagel. This is not worth the value, and I am super disappointed. The regular bagels are well priced and they look appealing, and the service was quick.

Delicious and well cooked bagels. Loaded with seasonings and flavors. I always pick this spot for morning pick ups for work breakfasts. Always timely and warm when I pick up.

I went here to get a breakfast sandwich and it was really delicious! I got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the bacon was perfectly cooked- crunchy and savory. They put a very generous amount of bacon but it wasn't too much so the flavors were still well balanced. Only thing is I wish they made sure the bacon wasn't bunched together but it was a wonderful sandwich none the less! They also have great bagels- I got a rainbow with some blueberry cream cheese. The cream cheese was sweet and tasty and the bagel nice and chewy. Will definitely be back soon.

Delicious bagels, lots of cream cheese options if you like to try new things. We did the bacon, eggs and Gruyère on an everything mini bagel (still HUGE!!!) and a French toast bagel. They also have amazing pastries, croissants, and muffins if you want to shake things up. Highly recommend.
