"Nha Trang is a casual spot in the West Argyle Historic District serving predominantly southern Vietnamese dishes. Nem nướng, charcoal-grilled pork on skewers, exists in many different variations throughout Vietnam, but the version from Nhà Trang is notable for its notes of tangy sweetness. Nem nướng Nhà Trang is a DIY-wrap dish: roll up some grilled pork with fresh herbs, rice noodles, and a crispy cylindrical rice cracker for a satisfying crunch, and dip it in the signature orange-colored, nước chấm dipping sauce." - adrian kane, courtney sprewer, veda kilaru, john ringor

Google
Great food and service. The space was really clean and pleasant. We went at an off hour so the place was completely empty. The food was really really good!!

Google
This is a nice place with great food that won’t cause you bankruptcy. We ordered a variety of food and were pleased with most of them. Service is pretty good.

Had a beef Bahn Mi sandwich. Jalapenos almost killed me but sandwich was good. Daughter has beef pho which was good also (I cleaned up).

Google
They really need more staff, but the food is awesome

Google
Get ready to eat like royalty. They will bring out so. much. food. The picture shows half of what we ordered for 2 entrees. Funnnnn

We went here on accident the first time, and have come back several times since because every other place in the area simply doesn't compare. The food is excellent with tons of very authentic options, the portion sizes are huge, and the price is incredibly affordable. They have live music and other events which I haven't been around to see, but I expect they're quite fun. This place should be far busier during the day than it is. A wonderful lunch or dinner spot.

First time won't be the last. Their cashew chicken dish (115) was one of the best/freshest tasting entrees I've had in a LONG time. So good! Friendly owners, too!!

Yelp
The food here isn't bad but it also isn't the best. When we walked in, the restaurant was almost entirely empty, and the ambience didn't add much to our experience. Also, I feel like the food was overpriced for what you get. The pho broth tasted watered down and tasted like packaged broth. Also the meat tasted rubbery. It was a decent portion but flavor was lacking. The com tam (grilled pork rice platter) was better. The pork was juicy and paired well with the green onions and steamed rice. However, the fish sauce tasted diluted, and the egg meatloaf was really dry. Service was decent.

Yelp
There were so many good reviews that I expected more from this restaurant. The place looked empty and closed when I entered, but after asking the host 3 times if they were open, he finally understood and invited me in. I wanted to try something different and there was plenty to choose from. I decided on the grilled pork sausage roll, tapioca pork and shrimp dumplings and combination noodle soup. Although flavors were good, the consistency of every dish was not enjoyable. The tapioca dumplings were too heavy and thick. The pork sausage roll was tough and the noodles in the soup were too soft. (Is it weird that they mixed rice noodles with egg noodles. It must have been a mistake.) I wish I could give the restaurant a better review, but even the service was lacking. The waiter seems to not notice me, even there were only 2 other tables of diners here. He must bee distracted by all the televisions blasting Vietnamese singing shows.

Yelp
This is the place to eat and drink with friends! And might I add that they have karaoke and some of the best Vietnamese shows? Where else can you go on Argyle and get a whole mess of delicious food and sing your heart out in the middle of the day or late night?

Yelp
New kid on the block, a spacious Vietnamese restaurant on this crowded corner on Argyle, filled with competition from long established Vietnamese businesses. Food: Pho - 4/5 - fresh quality cuts of meat, fresh veggies, perfectly textured rice noodles, but not outstanding broth Banh beo - 5/5 - excellent textured flat rice cake appetizer served with shredded dried shrimp and fish sauce! Com tam - 5/5 - fantastic tasting variety of grilled proteins with rice Ca kho to - 5/5 - one of the best tasting caramelized fish that I've had Canh chua ca - 5/5 - excellent sour soup with fish Mi Quang - 3.75/5 - broth was too bland, too much chicken which shouldn't have been the case Bun thit nuong cha gio tom nuong - 4/5 - the grilled meat was too salty likely due to the marinade. Egg roll and grilled shrimp were fine. Great fish sauce mix Banh canh cua - 3/5 - lacking in broth, type of thick udon noodle and the crab was low quality Mi vit tiem - 5/5 - perfectly prepared herbal duck egg noodle soup; good slices/chunks of duck meat Hu tieu hai san - 4/5 - uses the pho rice noodle, and not the chewy clear rice noodle; otherwise the pieces of seafood, the broth and the side veggies were great Ambience: Very spacious Service: Friendly, fast

Yelp
Nha Trang Restaurant recently opened on the streets of Arygle. I was excited to try this place because my family back home lives around the area. You can say it was little place close to home in my heart. We arrived around 830pm on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. We were promptly greeted and were able to sit anywhere we liked. We had menus handed to us and asked if we were to drink water or tea. In Vietnam, the custom is usually iced tea so it was nice to see this option without extra charge. Food wise, we ordered beef salad, fried shrimp, fried rice, and a rice plate. It was absolutely delicious! Very fresh, clean dishes, frequent check ins. Will definitely come again.

Yelp
Got a chance to try this place when they first opened. Granted it's their first time so there's a lot of things to work out and much to work on. Review is strictly on the food! Eggrolls: * Flavor & filling was delicious * average crispness * could've fried it a bit longer for extra crisp Vietnamese Porkchop Rice: * Pork was flavorful and tender! * Rice was chopped but found some bits not fully cooked * Fish sauce was decent * Egg Casserole was a bit on the softer side for me but fried egg was excellent Pho Bo Vien * soup was hot and flavorful * standard portion * pretty generous with the beef slices Overall: average food for the price. I've had better but I think as they figure things out it'll get better. Will update

Yelp
When I am in the area, I stop in. Some of the best pho and banh mi i've eaten in Chicago, and I've had both dishes at many places around the city. The baby pho is a perfect size lunch.

Yelp
This restaurant gave me a nightmare of how they treated customers so badly. They cancelled my online order without giving any reason and did not pick up the phone when I called. Once I had a chance to speak with them, they were not responsible at all. One of the worst customer services I have ever experienced.

Yelp
I got a chance to try this restaurant with a good friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. I wish I had taken a picture of our order because not only was the meal delicious and so very fresh, the presentation of the meal was lovely. My dinner was Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef Cube) and an appetizer of Fried Chicken Wings dipped in a Homemade Sweet Chili Sauce. As I stated before the food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long to receive our meal. We went to the restaurant on a weekday after 5:30PM. I can't remember exactly what my friend had but she enjoyed her meal as well. What prompted me to write this review is the fact that every time I go pass this place, since I live in the area, it seems to always be empty. I just want to say that if you enjoy Vietnamese Cuisine this is a great NEW restaurant. Add it to your list of "MUST TRY!"

After my friend when an ask for the menu's we decide to seat are selfs and still wait it to be recognize ? Another 15 mints pass and still no one approach us ??? The restaurant was not even that busy only 4 tables were there making us think that maybe there not ready to run a proper restaurant Bussines!!! This is such a awful way to show there opening restaurant business.... I definitely won't recommend anyone to come here " and if you du be ready to serve your self and get your own menu . Me and my friend decide to leave and never come back .!.!.!.!.! Even if I am ask to give a rating it be easier just to say IS NOT WORTH IT.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my parents who are Vietnamese. Based on the sign outside, seems like the restaurant has been open since November. Big open space and nicely decorated. Tried the Banh Xeo, Pho Tai, Mi Quang, and all were pretty good. Decent portions and prices were reasonable. The presentation of the Mi Quang was the nicest presentation that I have seen for that dish in Chicago. My parents who are much more discriminating than myself were pretty satisfied with their food

Diana D.

Yelp
I'd give zero stars if I could. They brought us water and menus and then let us wait, and wait, and wait, and wait at our table. Over 30 minutes of waiting and nobody came to take our orders. We walked out. Horrible customer service. I can't say anything about the food. We never got that far.

Puty T.

Yelp
The owner is so nice. The vegetables are really fresh . The place makes me feel like my home because it is super clear. Everybody is friendly and slowly. But that is okey. The service is good

Truc V.

Yelp
Waiting for a long time(about 35 mins), even the people come after us has their food first. There aren't many people in the restaurant but I don't know why it takes them so long to cook my food. I'm really not happy about it.

Yelp
Abundant fresh herbs. Great flavors: reminds me of being in Vietnam . Clean, modern , open, space
