Awesome steak house in downtown LA. Our server was perfectly attentive without being overbearing. We started out with ice cold martinis, which we enjoyed at a leisurely pace, then split the 18 oz ribeye (cooked perfectly medium rare), potatoes au gratin, and creamed spinach. Everything was delicious. Nick & Stef’s deserves their fine reputation.

Went to this place for the DineLA and everyone was fantastic! The staff was very polite and attentive. I didn’t have to wait too long for my steak and it was cooked to perfection. The crabcake was also a highlight for me as well

We were visiting from east coast LA and heard about this steakhouse and made reservations for my birthday, honestly everything was amazing except our server ( Jon P) treated us differently make us wait for bread 20 minutes on purpose kept back in forth to our table telling us bread is coming.. I see other customers as soon as they come and bread is served right away… we coming back soon but our server will be definitely not MR. Jon

Myself and 3 of my girlfriends went out to Dinner on a Friday night we had a reservation for 9:15pm. LA traffic was terrible so we were very late to our reservation. John was our server and he was nothing short of amazing. They accommodated us to a T from the time that we talked inside to the time that we walked out the door. We forgot to get our parking accommodated and before we pulled out the lot we saw the hostess come down to the lot to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this place and please do ask for John.

This place absolutely fantastic. The food was really good. We ordered Australian Wagyu and Dry Aged Ribeye. They were so good. They were so soft and amazing flavor. We ordered fries and mashed potatoes and they were so good. Those sides feed like 2-3 people btw. The atmosphere was great and the service was great too.

The food and the drinks were delicious! I went for my birthday. I wish they would have done something like a candle on the dessert since it was my birthday, but other than that we had a great time!

One of the best steaks you can get and it's pretty affordable! A bone in ribeye that's dry aged is $96 which is pretty insane for 26 oz. That's definitely enough for two people and the sides are pretty amazing here as well. Dry aged is something that I can't really make at home and Nick + Stef's is 100% my favorite place to get dry aged steaks. The seasoning is perfect and the meat is so tender here. The restaurant is in downtown and it's a really beautiful spot for a date night or just if you're out with a group. Several are always so nice and they always take great care of you. If you're looking for a dry aged steak spot at a reasonable price, this place is definitely the place for you!

Filet mignon was a -1/5 So gross! Asked for medium well and they gave it to me raw!!! Didn't eat it at all! Ruined my dinner -creamed corn -1/5 Nasty nasty nasty! Worst I ever tasted and ever had! So gross! It was salty creamed corn with tijin and green peppers in it! It was awful. -mash was yum -Ceaser Salad was 5/5 -Crab cake 3/5 It smelled super fishy but was cooked ok. Portion was ok too. -Service 3/5 -this place was pretty big. They also had outdoor sitting. -parking- they had some street meter parking.

Brought my mom here and spend a pretty $250. My mom doesn't feel comfortable speaking English (it's her second language) so I was the one interacting mostly. I went on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Still, the waiter was pretty bad. I still tipped 18% because I get it, I've been there. But he hardly came to check on us. Wasn't rude but wasn't really friendly either. You'd think a restaurant like this would be on top of trying to make it an over the top experience. So for that, I took a star away. Secondly, the fish was almost $50 and it was overcooked. They weren't coming to my table to ask so I just paid (after asking for the tab three different times with three different individuals). The cauliflower steak, broccolini, and fries were good but I wouldn't return for that. I feel bad to leave a bad review because the restaurant is filled with great ones but I really expected more since I was surprising my mom with a mom and daughter lunch.

What an amazing dining experience. Everything we ordered was made to perfection, the cocktails were delicious and the service was excellent. We came on a Saturday night and although it's in mid city, the area was not hectic or crowded. Park at the Wells Fargo center, second floor and take the elevator up one floor.

This restaurant was very yummy! I love the ambiance, it was dark and intimate. Party of two on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not very busy. We got our food in a timely manner. Everything we tried was delicious. They cooked our steak perfectly as well. They have a great wine selection. The staff were great! Everyone was very attentive to our table. It seems like the servers are very supported. They don't wipe down the table between meals. Restroom was decently clean. I would definitely go back! Need to try more food and wine! Cheers!

Just another steakhouse Don't know about parking cuz I Uberd but it's probably annoying & far & hopefully it's free Extremely professional & hospitable staff all the way around I ordered steak , & shared Mac n chz & a veggie & one cocktail Yes, everything was yummy. There were leftovers I took home and they tasted yummy afterwards, but I will not return because it's just another steakhouse (meaning menu & atmosphere & prices) I will recommend though. bathroom extremely clean.

We received a gift card to this place that I held onto for 2 years until today. Me and my husband wanted to celebrate our 3 anniversary of first meeting each other! We made a reservation for Nick+Stef's in advance. Our reservation was at 5pm. We parked in the Wells Fargo plaza parking structure. The only downside is that the elevators were not working so we had to take the stairs to the 2nd floor and exit out of the center to get to the Steakhouse. When we got to the restaurant, it was fairly empty, and all the lights were dimmed, which was pleasant and definitely gave the vibe of a steakhouse. The host greeted us upon entry and checked us in. He gave us our parking validation. We wanted a water to start with. Originally, we thought we were gonna get separate waters, but they offered us a bottle of water that came out to $10. We also ordered soft drinks which came out to $5 each. Moving on to food, we got the Caesar's salad to start. It was a lot and was the perfect sharing size. It tasted perfect; not too dry, just a bit moist. For entrees, my husband got the Burger, and I got the Lobster Mac and Cheese with the Atlantic Salmon. We didn't have to wait super long for our food, which is a good thing. The lobster mac and cheese tasted delicious and the salmon was cooked to perfection. My husband also throughly enjoyed his hamburger. The restaurant was very nice in providing us a dessert to celebrate our anniversary. We did have to pay $12 for it. But no complaints. You pay for what you get for. The bill came out to $127 with the gift card applied (would've been $177 without gift card) In my honest opinion, this is an underrated steakhouse and is a hidden gem in the DTLA Bunker Hill area. Thank you Meghan and all the staff members for making our experience pleasant. We will definitely be back.

Amazing steak as ordered by three members of our party-we also tried out three of the included sauces. My favorite was the bright fresh chimichurri which paired well. We also tried the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese (I preferred the former but I also prefer potatoes in general) and the lava cake to conclude our meal. Excellently paced meal in an upscale setting to complement our time at the theater.

I was very hungry and had a craving for a big, juicy quality steak and Nick & Stef's definitely satisfied. I started off with a pomegranate and vodka cocktail that was so good I had to order an other to wash down all the delicious food. I also had 6 amazing large PEI Mapeque oysters as well as Kumai oysters which were A+ in taste and presentation. Everything was delicious and the huge 16oz New York strip dry aged steak(cooked medium rare as I ordered)was top five I ever had! It was so big I saved half for the next day The NY cheesecake dessert was also excellent as a suitable denouement to the downtown LA steak feast. I paid a total of $200($79 NY aged, midwest strip steak)and added a $60 tip for superb service by Vince. Highly recommended.

Great martinis and some creative new cocktails. Always flexible. Stepped up and served our group in record time. Even adding a guest who arrived one hour late. The staff define great service in LA. We shared a few steaks and salads. Sides were on point. Bread arrived a little late but who really needs bread! Great bottle of wine after cocktails. My friends got off to their next appointment and I walked to the subway and made it in time for rehearsal Always recommended, always a great experience.

Came here for Valentine's Day after leaving Fogo de Chãos un professionals service and rude staff ! Luckily I still had my reservation here at Nick + Stefs had no wait time & me and my fiancé were seated immediately the food was very delicious and the sides were truly amazing , the drinks are too good as well the workers were very welcoming and nice ' so far one of the best valentines most definitely coming back soon

This place sucks - overpriced and poor service yet they suggest an 18% tip. I came here and asked them to swap out a food item because I have allergies. They refused to do it and served me the item anyway. Their excuse was the chef doesn't allow it. I had eaten at Ruth Chris the night before and got a filet minion and got the same item here. Ruth Chris the filet was a lot better (and they also had much better service). It took them ages to bring out the food as well. Somehow even though I got there when it was empty it still took an hour to get the food out. Then when the check comes, minimum suggested tip is 18%. I won't be coming back here since they don't care if you have allergies, service is poor, food quality is bad and overpriced.

Visited this LA institution last night for a late dinner with the wife. I have been here many times over the last 10 years and it is as good as ever. Wife and I started with cocktails. She had a gin and tonic and she was mildly surprised that carried Monkey 47 gin, which makes a good gin. I had a draft Stella and came cold from the tap, as it should be. We sat at the bar because we love the bar vibe and experience. The bar tender couldn't have provided better service either. The wife and I shared the Ribeye steak, Au Gratin potatoes and a Caesar salad. The ribeye was simply perfect. The chef cut it in half for the wife and I to share. When we crave steak we always come to NS because of their consistency. The steak was cooked to perfection and the grade of beef was a top grade, couldn't have been better. The potatoes were creamy, tasty and yummy. The Caesar salad was fresh too. Overall a great late night dinner experience.

Fantastic service, excellent wine choices, steaks were the very best with a fantastic selection. Ambiance was professional but still warm and inviting. A good crowd and energy in the place.

If you want great vibes, 10/10 service, excellent food, and great place to have happy hour. Please come here. Everything is top tier and you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food. Be sure and try the popovers! Has steaks etc but also vegetarian choices. Very good service and within walking distance of Music Center. Not cheap but reasonable given the quality and venue

To start off I am not a big fan of steakhouses as I feel like everything besides the steak is bland and uninspiring. I am big on appetizers and most of the time they suck at these restaurants. To start off the ambience was a typical darkened room, however it felt fitting for a modern villain. It was on the edge of comfortable and clean which kept the night fun. Our waiter was amazing, he personally made me a special mocktail to help with my stomach ache. It actually helped and happily explained how he came up with it. Now the food! We started out with the cheddar pop overs which were delicious and could just eat those all day. We then got the house salad which was washed lettuce on a plate with little to no dressing, fit for a rabbit. Finally, the steaks we got 2 steaks the dry aged ribeye and NY Strip. Surprisingly the NY was more tender than the ribeye. However, I still enjoyed the ribeye as it had a more nutty flavor. We got the mac n cheese and brussels sprouts as sides. Both really elevated the nutty and smokey flavors of the steaks as the bacon in brussels sprouts made it more rich and smokey. The mac n cheese had an herbaceous note to it that went well with the ribeye. We did get the chocolate dessert and was not good, tasted like fake chocolate and nothing special. Overall, one of the best steaks I have had from a steakhouse and had a great time.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening after an opera at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and made a reservation online in advance. It was listed as one of the best steakhouses in LA by the Food Network so we were excited to try it. Indoor and outdoor tables available. We got the diver scallops (2) to start - those were tender and flavorful. We also got the burrata which came with pomegranate arils and peaches. I enjoyed this as a light option. We got an order of the Szechuan string beans to split which weren't spicy but had a nice flavor. Three of us split the Tomahawk which comfortably fed us. They gave us chimichurri sauce automatically but I believe you can change that if you want. The tomahawk was dry aged and beautifully cooked. My dad got the grass fed petit filet from Nebraska, which he enjoyed. They gave us Yorkshire puddings at the beginning in lieu of bread and I enjoyed how flaky and warm they were. We ended with the chocolate cake which took 20 minutes to prepare and came with vanilla ice cream on top. It was a tad dry around the edges and I wish there was more liquid chocolate enmeshed in the inside. Our waitress was friendly and came to check on us often. The restaurant manager also stopped by to say hi and check in. Our waiters were consistently refilled and service overall was on point.

Great food atmosphere and service! They easily accommodated a stroller and had high chairs available Came for a birthday dinner. Drinks were great, both alcoholic and mocktail. I loved the blue heaven. They started us with pop overs. My first time having them and they were amazing! Everyone had something different and all of us were pleased. We ended with a complimentary dessert for the birthday girl.

I visited this location after a work event. My coworkers suggested this place as it is where they celebrate after a successful work event. This place is deceptively more significant than I would have imagined. The moment you walk to Nick + Stef's, you see a fairly large outdoor seating area with a bar nearby. Hidden behind the host/ess area are many tables and even some outdoor seating that gives a nice view of Los Angeles. The host/ess greet you warmly and even make a quick small talk with you, which is pleasing. Once they seat you, you receive immaculate service from start to finish. They take care of you and ensure that all of your needs are met. The drinks are delicious, but the thing that really stands out is their steaks. I came with a group and we all opted to partner up and split tomahawk steaks each. These steaks are cooked to perfection and you can really taste the flavor in each bite. Additionally, the sides are are cooked to wonderfully and leave a feeling that each dish was cooked with some TLC. If you are in the area, you cannot skip this place.

Nick Stef's Steakhouse is near my office so I've been here a few times for business lunches. Reservations are encouraged but not necessarily mandatory as I've come on my own without one and walked in with no problem. I've had Nick + Stef's Burger and the Chicken Club, both delicious. The servers have always been friendly and attentive. It's definitely upscale so expect the price to reflect it. I can't wait to treat my wife for a fancy date night!

Wow just finished celebrating my wife and twins bday. Everything was perfect like always. Hospitality was great our server Ludwig was the best. Manager Jimmy came several times to check on us. Food was delicious we had a party of 10 and Everyone was happy steaks are great and cheesecake is delicious. Best steakhouse

I scootered my way to this Patina Group's steakhouse. The host was very kind and stored my transport. I sat at the bar and ordered a pomegranate martini that was very, very good. I wasn't in the mood for steak so I ordered the Pan Seared Diver Scallops which were deliciously cooked to perfection. The restaurant is beautiful! Although I sat at the bar, I walked around and the outdoor seating areas and they are cozy and provide great views of the surrounding buildings in the city. They also have private rooms if you want to hold a special event. The service and ambiance was wonderful! I much prefer this steakhouse than the one near the Crypto Arena. I'll be back because I want to try the Tomahawk Rib Chop!

The dry aged tomahawk is the best steak I've ever had. I had it two years ago and I have been craving it ever since. No other steak at any restaurant has compared to it's perfection. The service and ambiance are great. But the tomahawk is what it's all about.

New favorite restaurant in LA. I've been here twice since January and I am blown away by the quality of this place. Everything here is phenomenal. The pomegranate martini is my personal fave! We have had the Cesar salad, filet mignon, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, burger with sweet potato fries and the lemon tart...zero complaints! Looking forward to coming here again very soon.

Pan seared diver scallops were ordered outside the happy hour menu, and they are most certainly a 'decadent accessory.' 5/5 DRINK The Border Rose was a perfect combination of mezcal, rose, and lime syrup. 5/5 SERVICE Service was quick, friendly, helpful, and attentive and I felt like an honored guest.

We went to Nick & Stef's for Dine LA and my birthday. The price during Dine LA at Nick & Stef's is a great deal. You get a three course meal for $95 per person. The choice of steak is limited, but still worth it. When it's not Dine LA, you can pay $95 for a steak alone and leave with a bill of $400 plus for two people. It's worth the price. First course, we had crab cakes, second course we both ordered the porterhouse steak, third course I let our amazing server choose my dessert. He chose the key lime pie, which was perfect for me because I am not a fan of sweets. Nick & Stef's is a great place to dine with friends whether it's a special occasion, happy hour, or you just want a really good meal. The steaks are delicious and so are the sides. The service and ambience are amazing. I love this place and how attentive the staff is. They check on you often and if there is something you are not pleased with they will make it right. I am always a little confused by the bad reviews of Nick & Stef's. I'm not doubting their experience, but I go often enough to know that if you have a concern or problem the staff will do everything humanly possible to make it right. My tip is, if something is not to your liking, let the staff know. I promise you they will make it right and management will come by to ensure that you are satisfied with your dining experience. Nick & Stef's is not charging these prices to give you shitty food and service. I understand the frustration of going out for a good meal and excellent service, but what you get falls short of that. If you are not satisfied with your dining experience at Nick & Stef's let them know, they will do every thing they can to fix it. I know this because I have returned my steak on a couple of occasions because it was not as rare as I would like. My new favorite steakhouse!! Amazing. Good was cooked just right and my server was just amazing

Was in town for business and this spot came up on a Yelp search within a 5 minute Uber ride from my hotel. I arrived shortly after they opened on a Wednesday and was met with a few groups lounging around for Happy Hour. The restaurant itself is relatively big as there is an entire extension in the back for more intimate dining, and tables on their patio for outdoor dining. I ordered half a dozen of oysters, a ribeye prepared medium rare, and their iceberg wedge salad. The half shell oysters were fresh and practically fell out of the shell as I picked each one up. My ribeye steak didn't come out medium rare (more medium well) and while I didn't want to send it back to the kitchen after taking a few bites -- the staff insisted that they would order a new one for me. The second steak did come out medium rare as I preferred which I thoroughly appreciate. Complimentary bread was provided also and while that was enticing -- the star of the show for me was the iceberg wedge salad. I know, I know -- it's just a salad but I enjoyed the freshness with every bite along with all the fixings of smoked bacon. blue cheese crumbles, cherry tomatoes, pickled onions, heirloom radish, and blue cheese vinaigrette (the dressing was killer!). My bartender who attended to me for my dinner order was very sweet and attentive -- the small details matter while dining at a nice steakhouse. Environment felt casual but I imagine it would be a nice date stop in the evening, so if that's the plan then dress for the occasion. Wouldn't mind returning in the future.

Excellent spot for drinks and dinner in downtown LA. I stayed at the Omni and it was short walk across the street. Excellent service at the bar & that's where we had dinner. Food was excellent and it was a lovely crowd at 7 pm. Lots of fun & highly recommend

Hubby and I came here for happy hour after work. We ordered the deviled eggs, potato wedges, and a smokehouse slider. I ordered a mule, and hubby ordered the hope st margarita. The drinks were strong, the food was really good, and our waiter was really nice. We would like to come back for dinner next time.

Located in corporate downtown LA, This was a nice restaurant to dine at especially at night with the glow of LA lights from the skyscrapers shining. The service was attentive, efficient and helpful. I had the filet mignon cooked medium rare and it was delicious. The sides including broccoli and creamed spinach was seasoned nicely and the broccoli had a nice crunch. I had the lemon meringue tart for dessert. Felt it was too sweet and didn't really hit the spot. Parking was easy but it's quite a walk from the parking structure then going outside to the restaurant and can be a little bit of a hassle but otherwise the overall ambiance was epic and I would definitely go back here again, especially at night.

So far my favorite steakhouse in LA! I tried the petit filet, dry-aged rib eye, creamed spinach and potato gratin. Every single one of them was delicious and craveable. The creamed spinach as just enough bacon so it's not too salty and everything you'd want from it. The potato gratin is rich and cheesy. The rib-eye has strong flavor and melts in your mouth. My favorite was the petit filet which just sang with the delicious wood smoke and beef flavor with a perfectly tender texture. I'm drooling as I write this review.. The service was great, our server was friendly and humorous. Gave us strong suggestions which helps making decisions. Inside has table seating and booths as well and I always love sitting at the booth and it's not loud in there so you can have a nice gentle experience. You can also see the dry-aging room which is pretty cool. The last thing is parking - make sure to park at the Wells Fargo parking lot to get validated. It might be confusing to find because downtown gets confusing but I'd just navigate to the restaurant and make sure to go into the Wells Fargo parking lot. Definitely will be coming back for a special occasion.

Came here for my birthday last week! It's an upscale steakhouse, very nice and it had beautiful outdoor seating as well. We opted for indoors. We had reservations, but because we got lost walking there (from the intercontinental hotel) because google maps made it looks like we're going straight but we had to go up stairs, and couldn't find it, so ended up going through the parking garage and all that crap. So i was calling to tell them i'll be late but no one picked up the phone. I wasn't able to modify the reservation because it was past the time, but my friend made a reservation for the next block, and i told the hostess the situation and she kindly cancelled the reservation and understood. Didn't matter too much anyway since it was empty and it was a Thursday night. We were seated right next to the kitchen door so there was a lot of background noise of people talking which I didn't mind, however the dining room was SO quiet. No music at all. We noticed it and didn't say anything or ask to be moved, but another table came and said the same thing to the waiter and they tried to find a different table but ended up staying there. I think if two separate parties mention it- it's something so maybe add some music in the back room! What did we order: Oysters: These were great. two of the oysters had pea crabs in them- which i know in certain areas is considered a delicacy- so i ate them to try them. It tastes like a mini shot of crab, HOWEVER i know there's a lot of people that would be absolutely horrified lol. The oysters came with the regular cocktail sauce and also the vinegar with finely chopped onions and that was my favorite. I should have asked for tabasco sauce too, because a girl loves Tabasco. We also asked for horseradish sauce which we used on the oysters AND the steak. It's the best horseradish i've had and it was real and fresh and VERY strong. Caesar salad: excellent salad, dressed perfectly, not too much dressing and their croutons were crispy- not sure what bread they used but it was good. I wish they had like.. anchovies in there like a real caesar, or if it was in there, more of them. Loaded baked potato: run of the mill, nothing to write home about but they used better bacon or maybe pancetta for the meat portion, since it was thicker. poached asparagus: subtle flavor, cooked great! Probably best asparagus i've had, it was nice and soft, and they shaved down the stems so it wasn't tough at all, which is what I usually get at other restaurants. Tomahawk steak to share: it was overcooked. We asked for medium rare, we probably got medium-medium well. Some pieces were I believe well done as there was no pink at all. Needed a little more salt, but it was also pretty tough. It's the toughest tomahawk steak I've had, to be honest. We got the chimicurri for it and I think it was okay. I lived in argentina for a year though, so I think I'm kind of biased. It was still good, but because it was overcooked, and tough and under salted, I wish we got a different cut of meat. I do know that tomahawks are harder to cook, but you're a steak house. The service was immaculate, though. The waiter was very nice, professional and asked us if everything was good throughout the meal, but not enough to be overbearing. It was a perfect mix of being attentive but also letting us alone enough to enjoy our meal. We were honest about the steak being overcooked when they asked, and the manager came and comped us our oysters, which we were thankful for and we appreciated that they took us seriously. We definitely weren't expecting it, but it was very appreciated. The bread that they served ahead of the meal was delicious, it's like a less chewy pao di queso (brazilian cheese bread) We ordered the malbec and the paso robles cab which were excellent. Overall, it's a nice place, just don't get the tomahawk steak, and try to see if you can eat outside! it's really nice out there.

Came here for dinner the other night. Not sure if Google Maps was just messing with me, but trying to get to the Wells Fargo parking structure was a near nightmare since it brings you to the front and the entrance to the structure is behind where Google directs you to. Parked the car in the structure and walked a short distance to Nick + Stef's. Had a reservation so got seated right after we checked in. Staff was helpful with recommendations - was disappointed they were out of the bone-in rib chop the night we went since it was the one thing I really wanted to try. Started off with some drinks and they brought some bread for the table. We ordered the dozen oysters on the half shell, foraged garden salad, rib-eye, and new york steak. For the sides we ordered the sauteed brocollini and potato gratin. Favorites were the oysters, rib-eye, and the potato gratin. Enjoyed the sauteed brocollini since they added chili flakes to it. Overall happy with the service and the food. Ordered enough food for two people with plenty of leftovers to take home. Can confirm that the food is still just as good the next day.

Park at 355 Wells Fargo Parking Plaza- that is the parking structure for the restaurant. Valet is complimentary. Ambience is nice. The host was wonderful & welcoming, provided our seating preference request. The server is very knowledgeable, explained their process of dry aging specific steaks in the menu. The food portions were good to share for (2) people. Food presentation is alright not the most beautiful plating but the flavors are there. Good variety of wines available by the glass and interesting cocktails menu. We split a rib eye and they split it in the kitchen which is fantastic. In the end the steps of service can be tighter. They didn't offer to pack our take home plates, had to request for a take out bag which is strange and it wasn't a busy dinner or anything for our server to be overwhelmed. A little more attention to guest care becomes noticeable when other upscale restaurants really go above and beyond. It was a nice experience, nothing to be excited about visiting again.

This place has been there since the dawn of time I think. I can't recall why we stopped going, but I was there last night for the first time in a few years. It's still a terrific place. Casual vibe, friendly service, quality foods, tasty cocktails. There's no reason not to visit from time to time, apart from geography. I don't know if it's worth reworking your plans to go out of your way for a visit downtown, but if you're going to be downtown for a game or a show, it's a good call.

This place went above my expectations. I kept seeing it on open table but never tried it until now! It was a very relaxing setting and i love the decor. Service was great but for a high priced steak house it could of been A bit more formal. Food came out piping hot! Everything was too die for! Only down fall was the parking and location. Its not close to anything and parking was a bit difficult to get thru. If you want a quiet dinner with delicious food definitely check this place out.

Great food, great service, and great ambiance. Our server was very nice and the New York steak and filet were cooked to perfection. Will be back if in the area in the future.

An experience! Known for being the first steakhouse in LA to have dry aged steaks, Nick + Stef's is a true gem in the heart of DTLA. One of the best ribeyes I've had and the mashed potatoes were so creamy, buttery, a delight from start to finish. They have happy hour from 4-7 Monday-Friday. And for the mocktail lovers, they have a nice zero proof selection

The food was delicious. Drinks were delicious. My only complaint was the steak came lukewarm. I prefer my steaks to be hot off the grill or skillet whichever it is cooked on. That was my only complaint. My recommendation is keep steaks hotter. Next time I'll ask for it to be hot. The only reason is due to as I was eating half of my steak got cold. Sadly they ran out of popovers as well. I was shocked. Also I feel like our server was busier and we didn't get to order the things we wanted due to being finished with our meal by the time he got to us.

Good service, excellent steak (4.5 stars overall) Having been disappointed by a recent trip to BOA West Hollywood, I wanted to try a steakhouse I've never tried before, so I made my first visit to Nick + Stef. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted and seated immediately on their outdoor terrace. Not at all crowded but a nice relaxing vibe. Server was very helpful and attentive. He helped me decide between a lot of different options since it was my first time. When the food finally came out, the steak was fantastic. At just the first bite, my bone-in rib chop was bursting with flavor! This more than made up for the disappointment I had two weeks earlier at another steakhouse. The gruyere mac n cheese and potato gratin were also tasty accompaniments. Along with free validated parking and after taking a nice exploratory stroll around the neighborhood after our meal, I would definitely come back to eat at Nick + Stef's if I'm in the neighborhood

For my third and final celebratory birthday meal this year, my boyfriend took me to this wonderful establishment, and I couldn't be more grateful to him (and the restaurant) for making my birthday so memorable. I'm going to try to be as concise as possible, but forgive me if I end up writing a novel. Parking: Free self parking/complimentary valet parking in the Wells Fargo building (for up to 3 hours with validation). Free parking in DTLA? Unheard of. Decor: This is the best way I can describe what I felt/saw. It's where Don Draper (Jon Hamm's character) from the show Mad Men would go to eat if he were to take a business trip to Palm Springs in the 70's-80's. I mean this as a compliment. It's classy and sophisticated, yet warm and inviting. Service: IMPECCABLE. The hostess seated us in one of their gorgeous (and spacious) booths. Our server knew the menu like the back of his hand and gave helpful recommendations. They cleared our plates and topped our water glasses in a timely manner. The manager/person in charge checked in on us to make sure everything was to our liking. They also gave me a complimentary dessert for my birthday. Food: * Complimentary bread * Half dozen oysters * 18oz ribeye (dry aged) * Steak & whiskey pairing (NY strip + Hudson Bay bourbon, Westholme wagyu ribeye + Hibiki Harmony, A5 Japanese wagyu + Nikka Coffee Grain) * Lobster Mac n cheese * Creamed spinach * Mascarpone cheesecake * Complimentary dessert (like a coconut flan type dish) First of all, that complimentary (cheese) bread has no business tasting that good. I DON'T EVEN LIKE BREAD, but I could've easily finished a basket load of those. Secondly, if you are a fan of steak and whiskey, do yourself a favor and DO THE PAIRING. The steaks by themselves were AMAZING, but were totally elevated with/by the drinks. The Hudson Bay bourbon was actually a bit of a punch to the throat, but it still complemented the NY steak nicely. And I love my Japanese whisky so I knew the Hibiki pairing was gonna be good. I was right. Everything we ordered was excellent (ESPECIALLY the lobster mac n cheese and the NY strip + wagyu ribeye from the tasting menu). If I had to give any sort of criticism, I think that the 18oz rib eye was just a TAD under seasoned and the creamed spinach was pretty salty. The two balanced each other out nicely though. Drinks: * Pomegranate martini * Prime martini - quite possibly the best martini I've ever had. I want to go back for this. * Bourbon/whisky tasting mentioned above * G Ballard Lane Cabernet Just wanna note: If you get enough sides or order a couple of appetizers, that ribeye can easily fill 2 people up. I got the meat sweats like halfway into our meal, but everything was just so good that I kept going. We still had a good amount of leftovers which made for a great hearty lunch the next day. Well deserved 5 stars all around!

Top tier steakhouse. Every time I come here my steak is cooked to perfection. I had the petit filet with red wine bordelaise (aka liquid gold) insanely delicious, try it, I promise it won't disappoint. Bar area is chill, plenty of seats, good beer and wine selection. Will def be back, ambiance and service is high quality!
